Went here today after being turned away from the location I typically go to. I only wanted to pick out new glasses and sunglasses using my existing prescription and both ladies working there were absolutely fabulous. They were very kind and knowledgeable. They actually had a much better selection than my normal place. Would definitely recommend!

If I could give a negative star I would. I was a new patient to this place and I will never be returning. Since it is down the road from my house and I had just moved into the area I figured I’d give them a try. This place is very unprofessional I was told I couldn’t get my prescription for my contacts that I paid $135 for because “I hadn’t completed the service since I didn’t not like the contacts that they provided” & the overall experience I recieved. While this is going on Dr. Harvey walks by & clearly can tell that something is going on yet he continues to walk around the front of the store without acknowledging nor caring what is going on. I would assume he should & would care if a customer is unhappy with the service he provided. I understand I do not like the brand they used and didn’t want to be fitted for another pair especially after there receptionists are unprofessional. I didn’t understand & still don’t understand why they couldn’t give me the prescription so I could go to another place to use as a reference of what they prescribed me & which brand didn’t work for me. I’m just confused if I paid the $135 why couldn’t I take the prescription. Regardless If I liked them or didn’t. Wasn’t that why I paid for two eye exams?They charged me $99 for a eye glasses exam and even though I didn’t get glasses they gave me that prescription. I also wasn’t told any eyewear promotions if I did get glasses here. Everything was super rushed & before I knew it paid $375 & was still trying to grasp what I just bought. Then when the contacts were uncomfortable & literally not staying in my eye. I knew that I needed to go back and explain that it wasn’t for me. But all I got was unprofessional receptionists who when she went into her little back room was talking about me to another employee like I wasn’t there. I got bad vibes on the day I went in for my eye exam but I didn’t listen to my gut & now I paid $235 which is high in my opinion for Danbury,CT eye exam yet I have no contact nor new glasses. Please note The one $135 I paid was for the time he spent with on my eye exam & trying to fit me for contacts & I never even asked for that to refunded just my prescription. I would not advise anyone to go here your better off going to Costco, LensCrafters. I would shop around not make the mistake I made by choosing a place by location.You’ll save money & get a better service.

They were really nice and cared avout my issues. I went because my glasses frame was broken and they definitly went out of their way to try to fix my problem. I do recommend.
