I was looking for two items that certainly arent high tech by todays standards, but they had exactly what I needed in both cases while also having a full array of very current products. I did request information on some of their smart products and the sales staff appeared very knowledgeable in all areas and took the time in a very pleasant manner to answer my questions. Very satisfied!!

This BestBuy location was a wonderful experience. They have a great appliances section that is larger and more extensive than other locations. They also have a fantastic home theater selection again carrying tv choices as well as audio brands not found in other BestBuys. If youre in the market for high end home theater or appliances options then the Danvers location is a must. The associate in appliances was also extremely knowledgeable.

Always a great experience when I visit. One of the last electronic (and more!) retailers with a professional atmosphere, Ive always found what I was looking for. They make sure to get you in and out as fast (or slow) as you like! Window shopping is never discouraged and everyone is pleasantly helpful. They do a great job at this Best Buy.

Mow been to two stores. Naushua NH & @ Liberty Mall in MA. Neither wanted to actually sell a $1000 camera. All we wanted was to see the camera with lens that we would get in the box as the one on display was a different lens. One store didn’t have an “opened” lens & the other didn’t want to put one one.

Very helpful however I was buying a open box DVD player. It stated that it was in good condition and nothing was missing - I even double checked with the associate. When I got home, I opened it up and the AV cable wasn’t there. I will try and get a refund for it but it was still annoying. I don’t think I will be buying open box again.

So difficult to get someone to speak with and assist with a software renewal. On hold the first time for 10 min and then that individual transpired me somewhere else and I was on hold for 33 mins.When someone did pickup I was told that sometimes the phones just do that!!Maybe the folks in charge should know about this issue! I’m assuming they would have interest in the issue.

Horrible experience. My husband is an elite member for ordering all of our appliances from Best Buy, but we are done purchasing anything from them. A month ago, we were supposed to have a washer and dryer delivered to our house. The washer was brought to our home damaged while the dryer was delivered. The following week, they showed up and tried to deliver a dryer. The following week, they showed up again and tried to deliver a dryer. The week after that, they showed up with a damaged washer. The installers wanted to install the damaged washer, of course we declined, but he also showed up with a dead power drill. How he was supposed to install it was a mystery. We are still waiting for our washer we paid for a month ago. Oh, and when customer service tells you they will call you back, they don’t. We’re done.

This visit was to the one in the liberty tree mall danvers. Staff super friendly, attentive and helpful. I purchased a dryer on line(not a great experience) had clicked on needing a dryer cord, but for some reason it wasnt included in the sale. Austin(manager) was on top of getting me one quickly, checking me out and staff was careful, courteous loading it.All around good experience

Sorry but this is not the Best Buy I remember, went for a laptop and a charger, and spent some time in the store hoping I can find what I need. I wasnt able to find. The laptop prices compared with other stores are almost double if bot 1.75 higher for a configuration that is less.As for the charger I need, I wasnt able to find one.Is a shame, it was one of my preffered stores

My husband and I have always had good experiences in this store in the past when buying appliances and computers and using the repairs service - always knowledgeable and friendly staff. Just wanted to highlight Rob and Andrew in the mobile department and thank them for their patience and support when I set up my new Samsung phone! I didnt realize how long the data transfer would take (partly my fault; partly not very clear through Verizon/Samsung/Best Buy relationship when a family member and I purchased our phones with a trade-in). It took over 4 hours, but Rob and Andrew were extremely knowledgeable, patient, and caring to me and other customers in the store. In fact, I was very impressed with how they handled triaging different customers that needed help in all sorts of departments while we were waiting for my situation to finish up. The store was understaffed, but they were working very hard to help everyone, and gave excellent customer service even with other difficult problems that came in. You guys deserve a raise - thanks again!!

I needed a samsung Galaxy A tablet looked at and the geek squad gave me a time to come back,and fixed my tablet for free,it was actually the charge port on the tablet,it has some corrosion on it,and they let me know eventually it will stop working,they day moisture got at it,though I store it in my house,maybe the air conditioning did it,they were very helpful and polite

Frayden talked to me about streaming devices and Im waiting for a senior staff member to call me back to set up an appointment. Then Frayden helped me purchase a new iPad and keyboard. Very friendly. Almost no wait at all to be helped in the store. Clean, cool, all staff wearing masks.

When I had gone looking for a new laptop or desktop I thought to go to Best Buy. I walked in with a friend and was greeted by an employee at the door. They have it set up to ask what you are interested in and then they send you to that area after notifying an associate to meet you.We were directed to the laptop/desktops. We met a younger employee, maybe 26-35yrs who asked us what we wanted. When I told him I wanted a good computer for drawing and light gaming he pointed me to an Alienware desktop tower for almost 1799 then said if you wanted middle of the range an 899 tower. He showed me the most expensive all in one desktop, 1999, as well without one word of asking for my budget or acknowledging the fact that light games did not mean Call of Duty or Final Fantasy on the PC.I thanked him and right after he said if I needed something to call for him before walking away. Now, I was torn seeing as he did not help much and it seemed that he was trying to bank on a commission in selling the more expensive items. My friend and I left due to the clear fact that he was not interested in helping to address the basis of what customers need, their budget, and then how to get them to the best middle ground.It was almost like fast food shopping. The employee at the entrance takes your order, sends you to where you need to go to pick it up, and then the employee there just wanted the money for it. We ended up leaving, took a chance at Staples and I not only found my new laptop, I was able to get my old one fixed and meet some wonderful associates. Staples beat out Best Buy in service, price, and opportunity.

I would not recommend coming to this store if you have an online order. They may not find your order even if you have your confirmation email and order ready email. They are great at pushing the customer to other employees and giving very boiler plate answers without checking on the actual status of your order. Order is still processing um... I didnt give you any information about my order. Please call our customer care line but I have a confirmation email here are you able to help? Your order has to be shipped here and we can activate it, please wait for an email from us I have the email. Please come back when you receive the email.Enough said ..Wait no, one more thing.The staff was bad mouthing each other to me as a way to somehow make me feel better about my order not being found.A straightforward answer would have been nice. At least my two hour drive would have been worthwhile to not leave in confusion and not know when and if Ill ever see my order.

I went in with the intentions of buying a new laptop for the first time. I did my research ahead of time but wanted to be able to speak with a computer sales person to see if maybe there was something comparable that I should look at. After waiting about 45 minutes to speak to the one salesperson working in this area, they sent the cell phone salesperson over to help me. He was nice... but couldnt really offer me anything other than yeah, that ones good. So I just ended up getting what I already had picked out, which I love the laptop. The experience was just kind of meh. I could have just ordered the laptop online, but I wanted to consult with an associate before dropping almost $750 on something.

The death of the salesman:I used to like Best Buy because the sales reps where really knowledgeable, helpful, and available, but sadly the pandemic has ended all that. I recently went to Best Buy in Danvers to get a new phone. The gatekeeper asked me a few questions about how I needed help. However, she interrupted my response to wave me to the phones section where there was a line to speak with a sales person. I ended up purchasing a phone online, because If Im going to do my own research, Id rather do it at home. This was a mistake because I had a question about setting my phone up. When I returned to speak with a representative the gatekeeper, after the most cursory of exchanges, told me to make an appointment to see someone from Geek Squad and it would cost me $40. Rather than make a third visit to this establishment I went to the return counter, and oddly enough the fellow giving me the refund was actually quite helpful. If he had been working elsewhere in the store they might have kept my business. At the AT&T store in Northshore Mall I was greeted by a salesman who helped me select a phone and set it up (the issue Id had was solved within 5 minutes) and didnt once treat me like I was wasting their time.

Especially now where people just want to be in and out and get exactly what they need and know theyre getting the right thing without having to come back. Rob is that go to guy every time. All of the research I did online was waisted because the model numbers on Best Buys products are different that way they dont have to ever have to worry about honoring their price matching guarantee since no one else had that same products, then I waited in line for almost an hour. Ordered an open box laptop online that was listed as satisfactory. Drive an hour and a half to get to this store. Find out it doesn’t include the charger. Look online for the charger, it’s $130. I will start by saying that this particular store is over 2 hours away from my home and most of my negative experience is not directed at the store itself. That said, I made a purchase online and scheduled for pickup in store. Prior to pickup I attempted to contact the store over the phone to discuss some of the details. After over an hour of holding a person answered and asked for the zip code of the store that I was inquiring about. This is when I discovered that when you call a Best Buy store, you dont actually speak to that store. I was put on hold briefly before being quickly hung up on! So without actually speaking to the store, and with more questions than answers, I drove over 2 hours to collect my purchase. According to my emailed purchase confirmation, most orders are available for pickup within 1 hour, over 3 had passed at this point and my order was still not ready. The associate at the location was very helpful though and he had my order ready to go in about 15 minutes. I will also note that the store was very slow and plenty of associates were available so Im not sure why my single item purchase was not ready for pickup 3 hours after the order. Overall, very dissatisfied with Best Buy telephone hold times as well as their telephone operator! I cant figure out why you cant just call the store directly especially given the clear failure of their current telephone system. Definitely one of the worst experiences Ive ever had with any retailer! The reason for 2 stars and not 1, was the quick response and courtesy shown by the store associate upon my arrival, although my order should have been ready long before my arrival.

Terrible location. Employees provided inaccurate information regarding an exchange for a defective product. Had to pack a 65 inch television and bring it to the store..as directed by customer service the day before IN THE SAME STORE, only to be told they would not exchange or store credit it until geek squad saw it IN MY HOUSE. Manager on duty refused to provide any assistance. Best Buy high level member... DOESNT MATTER...300 dollar protection plan...DOESNT MATTER..try to reach out to corperate for some help..THEY DONT CARE...don waste your time or money with best buy. There are plenty of other retailers with much better service who actually want to help their customers.

I needed assistance with geek squad. The store was almost completely empty and no one was near the geek squad counter. The boy working the counter refused to wait on me because I didn’t schedule an appointment. I told him I can from 4 towns away and he still refused to assist me. I tried to schedule an appointment but it needs to be done on line. Each time I tried the site was down. When I called the store it’s automated and tells you to go to the website. I tried calling the store to talk to customer service for assistance and the automated recording picked up and I was on hold for 10 min. I had called twice. Completely unacceptable!!!!

I unfortunately visited this best buy 4 times in the past two weeks and everything has been disappointing. Every employee I asked for assistance told me to ask someone else. The only way I could get someone to help me is to almost trap them in a corner after chasing them down. I am in the process of building a home office and they couldnt have made it more difficult. If the employees spent half the effort they put in to their hair every morning to actually doing their job I would have spent thousands there instead of giving my money to Microsoft center.

Tried curbside pickup and it was an unfortunate experience; if you plan to order online and pickup, go inside. Management had 1 individual working 14 curbside pickup spaces. All but 2 spaces were occupied when I arrived. Watched the 12 others in front of me receive their items (again, one associate going out to the car, back into the store and out again with the item). This took 15 minutes (understandable). I then watched as others arrived, received their items and left. After another 10 minutes and 5 customers later, I got out of my vehicle and went inside. The associates at the check assured me that my items was on its way to my car. I explained the situation and received the same answer; at that point I asked to speak to a manager. The manager assisted but took another 20 minutes to locate my item (it was indeed buried/lost and was not on its way out to my car). I then got to carry my item (a toaster/air fryer) out to my vehicle myself (in the rain, the very reason I chose curbside to pickup. Manager appeared to be annoyed that they had to help and gave me a disingenuous, half hearted apology as I left. Management should be better prepared to serve their clients a few weeks before Christmas on a Saturday, no less, and staff more than one individual when it gets busy as it was today. Will need to take my business elsewhere the next time Im looking for an appliance and/or technology for my home if this is what I can expect from staff in this store.
