The past two times Ive come to this Home Depot, I researched what I was looking for using the app first. Both times it said that the product I was looking for was in stock. The first was ratchet straps: 57 in inventory on the app. None on the shelf, so I go to an employee and ask for help. They scan the price tag at the aisle and it says 57 in stock. But, they are no where to be found. They looked up top for all of 2 seconds before saying, oh you should just go to the other Home Depot 15 minutes away...then today, same story different product. Stretch wrap paper for moving. 6 in stock, none present. Told to head over to the other one. Inventory management at this place is poor. I wouldnt put any stock in what the app says they have because at the end of the day, they may not be able/want to help you find what youre looking for

I got a bunch of small Mum plants for only $1.99 to make a Halloween planter for my Mom! I also picked up some of my favorite teal flower pots & a huge bag of organic potting soil at a good price! Love Home Depot!

This home depot in particular is outstanding. I had 3 employees ask me if I needed help finding anything. Most home depots are ghost towns where employees run from you. Not this place. They understand customer service here.

A great place for home improvement needs - recently needed plumbing repair tools for unclogging drain - got everything I needed

Although it was extremely busy we were helped by an amazing older employee named Bill. I dont know his name but he was able to walk me and my sons directly to what we were searching for. He was kind and knowledgeable and went out of his way to make sure we had what we needed and left happy. 5 star service, thank you Bill for your help.

Overall, the Home Depot in Dancers, MA is well laid out and well stocked. While the Salem Home Depot store has more plant varieties in their garden center, the Danvers Home Depot maintains a decent selection and has a much better paint department and more helpful staff in the gardening area!

Picked up a Real Makita tool here thats usually out of stock, called and spoke to Steve who kindly saved it for me at customer service, when picked up, Anthony helped and I must say, with his positive, knowledgeable attitude...I hope he is a manager at some point. Rare Person now-a-days 😄! Nini checked me out and off I went. Its on the right side of the Liberty Tree Mall, stay right on The road. Wayyyy around back! Thanks Folks

Do yourself a favor, NEVER order a major appliance for delivery from this place. WORST experience weve ever had. Purchased a new fridge, chose a time frame the outsourced delivery people came during the next time frame in an rented truck. Rather than remove the doors to fit it through our door, they tried to squeeze it in and scrapped up the whole side. This appears to be SOP for these guys as they just casually took photos and called it in and left. Oh, they left and didnt hook up the Ice Maker we purchased installation for and didnt give us the upgraded braided water line home we were forced to include with purchase. Emails to Corporate go unanswered, calls to the main CS number lead you to the WORST automated phone system I have ever encountered. Takes you in circles only to hang up on you no matter what you try. The Store manager didnt seem like he could care less when I spoke to him. They refunded the water line, that was it. To top it off, the fridge also has to small dents in both doors and the replacement is going to take almost 2 months due to backorder. Lesson learned. Stay away from Home Depot for major appliance delivery

If I could give 0 stars I would. DO NOT ORDER FURNITURE ONLINE FROM HOME DEPOT. We ordered an outdoor patio set in early June which was supposedly delivered to the store. When we called to go pick it up, the set was nowhere to be found. Mind you, this was a 3 seater couch, 2 chairs and a table. We spoke with multiple people through the store and the customer service line and we were told something different by every person. We were promised a refund and gift card sent via email for the inconvenience. Days went by and still no gift card, so we called customer service again and were told they didn’t do gift cards through the phone and we had to go get it in the store. We then asked to speak to a manager to which, after 50 minutes on the phone, we were finally given the “OK” to receive the gift card via email. So after 10+ phone calls, going to the store in person, and WEEKS later, we got a measly $100 gift card for the loss of our patio set. Which, by the way, we couldn’t even reorder because it was out of stock. So here we are, mid July, still with no outdoor furniture. Thanks Home Depot!!!!!!!

I like this Home Depot. Great staff (when you can find them). They answer all my dumb questions and are very helpful. They can get busy and its hard getting help. Thats my one knock.

Could not find what i was looking for and finding an employee was like a scavenger hunt and you are lucky if they know anything.

Ok so not a bad store standard Home Depot but we have curb side pick up that is not great. So global pandemic let’s offer curb side pick up... and only give 2 spaces so that we screw up all the parking and assign one kid to do all the running back and forth. Even though we send you an email that says your orders ready for pick up. So you have people driving in circles because there are not enough pick up spots. Even though it says spot 3 so where did the signs for the other ones go? Lowe’s was much more organized than this.

This location is great. Near the mall, target, dollar tree, highways close.

Bob in garden was EXCEPTIONAL with his service and willingness to help!!! Literally the best customer service ever! He was so nice! He saw the concerned look on my husband and I’s face when we couldn’t find anymore marble white chips and asked if he could help and we asked if there was anymore. He said oh yes! We have a ton! Told us to bring our truck around back and even helped us load it on!!! While we were checking out he was helping out an elderly woman In the meantime and honestly I don’t even know what she said I couldn’t even hear her she was whispering but Bob was so patient with her. I LOVE BOB! Bob needs a raise :)

I stopped in to pick up a new WEBER grill. Customer Service was very helpful tracking down an assistant to locate the grill I was interested in purchasing and 2 staff members loaded it onto my cart. Great service! 👍

As a general contractor I typically live at Home Depot. The products are fairly priced and there is a huge selection.

This Home Depot is definitely better than the other one in Danvers. The staff is usually friendlier but hard to find sometimes. Not like in the old days where people were always there ready to help you find things. I dont like how they have self-checkout and taking away peoples jobs.

My wife was just at this store she dropped her wallet...someone came forth and brought the wallet to the customer service...my wife picks up her wallet and her 3000 dollars missing...not pointing fingers but I will be making a police report on it and I want the officer to review the cameras...they didnt just take $$$ from my wife they took money from a 2yr old 5 yrs old and a 9 yr old...we where supposed to be moving soon and there goes all my kids money...I am beyond pist and wont stop till I get too the bottom of it...

The store is very clean and organized. Aisles are set apart so that you dont bump into other shoppers. Employees are very helpful and glad to help unlike some other stores.I thought Id have to buy a stain and a poly until the employee showed me they have ones that contain both. Thats awesome!

I know there are 2 Homedepot Danvers, Both have issues in fact just about all do now...Today I went to the one on independence way . After a few bad phone calls and a few people that answer the phones and dont say anything they put the phone down and dont speak to you. This wasnt just once and it was a few deptartments And even customer service. Lucky for me a gentleman was walking by and noticed the phone off the hook and check to see if anyone was on the phone Before he put it back on the hook. I explained what was being done to me with all the phone games and my call backs. I was going to give the store as low a score as possible but a gentleman name David B. Saved the day. I will keep my word and write to corporate what a great gentleman this David B. Was and How very few people take pride no matter what job they do. He stuck with me from beginning to the end. I got what I wanted and left very happy Only because of him. Thank You again David B.

Found everything I needed with ease some of the workers could be better they walk around acting like they are busy they just dont want to help you but they do have some good people there willing to go above and beyond to help

Was at the store today to buy a new toilet.it was very busy, but the associate( Pete) took the time to talk to me and helped me to make a decision. Unfortunately the one I needed was high up on the shelves and needed to get a fork lift and another associate (Chris)to get it down. Every time Pete was approached by someone else who needed help he would call over another associate to help them instead of just telling them he was busy. Both associates made sure everyone was safely out of the way in both aisles before they started. Chris thanked Us for being so patient! I was impressed. PS also was thankful to the associate who got it in the car for us.

Terrible customer service at the Danvers East store!!!!!! Mainly by the people answering the phone calls and working in the customer service department. Ive been a longtime, loyal customer to Home Depot, but will no longer do business with them. Word of advice to management....on going training!! People skills, knowledge of products and procedures...making an effort to assure the customer is happy with their results. Youre not doing me a personal favor by answering my questions on a product Ive already bought and paid for. That is your job!!!!

Pretty much all you need..dont think a review is necessary. Dont forget to change your mower blade if its been along time.

Well, it used to be in worse shape when I started working there. There were other issues like fellow associates trying to throw Tiki Torch Fluid at me. Haha. There seemed to be issues constantly circulating around a couple associates and members of management. Im glad to have seen this place making changes for the better, somewhat steadily.

Horrible customer service. Made appointment to order cabinets. Employee was a no show. We were told need to make another appointment. When we asked to speak to someone else. We were told there isnt anyone else.

Worst shopping experience I have had in a long time. Product piled on carts all through the store made most aisles impassable. Aisles were already narrow. Place was crowded with no one watching capacity at the door. Tool section was dirty. Check out was self serve and required hands on scanner that everyone before me had touched.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, Nini (Not sure how to spell it) might be the RUDEST customer service representative I’ve ever encountered, she was absolutely no help and turned my stressful situation into an even more stressful one

UPDATE: on top of the wrong item I received, I just discovered that they gave me a damaged item that was repaired with hot glue. The bottom of a ceramic indoor planter that I ordered looks like it broke off at some point and was glued back on with hot glue (you can see the broken ceramic all long the bottom where the pot meets the dish). Absolutely unacceptable.Ordered online and paid for next day home delivery. They delivered a wrong item to me. The item they delivered in place of what I ordered was significantly cheaper, too. When I called about this and to get it corrected the person who spoke to me (his name was Michael) on phone was rude beyond belief, and even insinuated that I was lying. Refused to do anything to help me unless I go into the store (so much for paying for home delivery to avoid going to the store). Absolutely horrible experience and it will be the last time I buy anything from Home Depot. The way I was spoken to was disgusting.

I realize that with COVID-19 we all have to make adjustments. However I have tried to pick up my online order for 2 days. Drove to the store during the hours they said they were open for curbside pick and they closed early and then hung up on me. Rude. Next day on hold for over 45 minutes with one one picking up the phone. I realize they are short staffed but come on pick up the phone. 45 minutes and no one can answer a phone.

The guy yelled at me for trying to test out a hammer in store, last time I tested out a hammer in store in Nebraska no one had a prolbem that is ridicuiluos.

You can wait your entire life for customer service. Then when you get it they are of NO help whatsoever.

We picked out wood to get cut for a project only to be told there was no one in the store to cut it. It was 7:30 when the store closes at 9. Cut lumber is one of the store’s biggest products, not having anyone available is inexcusable. They should at least post a sign at the entrances so you don’t waste time shopping only to leave it all behind. Employee we spoke to about it was super rude too and told us we shouldn’t just expect someone to be available to cut wood.

Apparently this Home Depot runs out of 5 gallon water bottles so often by Sunday their check out guy suggested I come back earlier in the week. What would make slightly more sense would be to maybe order a bit more, so you don’t run out. Losing business to your competitor seems like a bad idea, but hey, I’m sure Lowe’s will appreciate the business.

Made an online order at 11am. I was told it would be ready in two to three hours (for a shovel, a small bag of dirt and a planter but things are crazy so OK). 5 hours later and no update. I CANT GET IN TOUCH WITH ANYONE. I call the store it rings and hangs up. I was on hold with customer service for 20 minuets before that hung up too. It’s one thing if I can’t get my order today but to not be able to speak to anyone about it? Ridiculous. Canceled my order.

I should just punch in and do their job so they can just sit and relax and do nothing I need a job like this

Which exec had the brilliant idea to make all of the checkout lanes self checkout except for one lane all the way in the back. This makes no sense when you are trying to buy bulky items. Especially items that are charge by the foot like molding. Shame on home depot. Ill be taking my business to Lowes.

Couldnt get down some isles as they blocked them to stock shelves or something. Didnt see any workers till almost done. But did get what I needed.
