My family and I have been taking our cars here for years. From big problems such as needing a new engine to as little as a oil change they have always taken great care of us! Would recommend this place to anybody

Courteous personnel. Repair my tire in a timely fashion and explained the work that could be done in order to fix it.

Do not go to this place!!! they will charge an arm and a leg!! Trunk replacement latch $405.00. Charge me without telling me the costs, the piece only cost $25.00 The guy in charge told me it cost about $100 and $200 labor!!! its a rip-off!! Do not recommend! do your homework before going there, I sure didnt and learned my lesson!!!!

Save money, dont go to this place, thats why they got zero stars from me, is too bad google doesnt let me do it, they tell you there fair, they are not!! they dont care about the customer all they care about is getting there money, no customer service -- they charge me a fee just to find out what was wrong with my car!! The only reason I didnt give less stars was because the shorter gentleman at the counter has been very nice. After getting a new tire (service was great that day), I found that the same tire went flat in about 24 hours. When I returned to the shop, the taller man told me that there was a hole in the tire and that he would show it to me. Then, he accused me of raising my voice, told me that he didnt need this abuse and that this is why they are thinking about not fixing flats anymore (after asking how something like this could happen). I apologized for sounding disrespectful and explained that I was merely frustrated. When they pulled the tire off, sprayed it with water, there were 3 pinholes in the tire! No nails, no signs of damage on the tire. After hearing him talk about how he doesnt deserve this kind of treatment, he finally granted me a new tire without charge. My husband and I had been going here for almost 10 years and they just lost our business. No one deserves to be talked to in such a manner. You sold me a bad tire, thanks for owning it.

I dont know why ppl would leave terrible reviews. This place saved me twice in a few weeks. Extremely quick fixes both times, and reasonably priced. Both times got my truck back in less than a day and running perfect. Will definitely use them over and over. Hopeful I wont need to ..EDIT. Now Im here for the 4th time in a year, and they have 1000% saved me again. I have a 2004 Ranger and stuff just keeps breaking. If it werent for this place, I wouldnt be back on the road quickly and for VERY reasonableprices. This time its my whole AC system. The manifold hose cracked and spewed out all the freon so that whole thing had to be replaced. My AC Compressor has been making a God awful noise for about 6 months so its DEFINITELY about to go too. We originally were going to just replace the metal pressure lines on high and low side of AC. Brought it in, went to Dunkin Donuts to wait and got a call. They asked if Id want to replace the compress also. I absolutely would love to but didnt think I could afford to do it now. Well, they gave me a price that couldnt be refused. Literally could not turn down. These guys have treated me better than any shop Ive been to in my entire 50 plus years on this planet. And believe me, I KNOW a ton about fixing cars. You just get to a point where its so much easier to have someone else do it. Every time Ive been here theyve given me a price for the job that is beyond fair. In fact, a couple times now, Ive been completely shocked at how much money theyve saved me. And once again, truck will be in and out in a couple hours. Which is also a HUGE deal.Cant thank these guys enough. And no, Im not related or own stock in the business or paid to leave a good review. This 100% honest and true, and I want others to hear my story before listening to some of these other reviews about bad service because they had to buy a tire instead of some miracle fixing it for free.For the guys at the shop. My friends recommended Ridge Plaza Tire for service. I was dealing with Jace. My car has 131,000 miles on it. He told me I only needed an oil change, tire rotation and a cabin filter. He told me I still had 5,000 left on my brakes. He was very honest. Most places I go into, try to sell you everything. My friends were right about them. Kudos to them.

One of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at this shop. I had an oil change and air filter work done. While I had not used the air conditioner much during the first 2 months as the temperatures were pleasant, I started to mid to end of February. To my surprise the air was not cool when blowing and it would take close to 40 minutes to start feeling the slight difference. As it stated to get warmer in March I was ready to take it to the dealer to have the A/C diagnosed.But after mentioning to my brother it was suggested to check the filter which to my ah long surprise this was as dirty as it can be including debris. It was obvious to me that the filter was not replaced as it should not be that dirty after only 5 thousand miles. I came to Ridge Plaza Tire & Auto today and was explaining to the owner who basically said they had replace it and it would be his word against mine and there was nothing he would do. I asked him o have the filter replaced or refund my money and he simply said that would not happen as it would cost him about $20-21.I would discourage future customers to look for better shops who could at least give a customer the benefit of the doubt and use compassion and true customer service skills. This man had none!! I will not return nor recommend anyone here. 😠👎🏼

!!!!!!DO NOT USE THIS PLACE!!!!!!!.... Where do I start...I would give 0 stars if I could. Customer Service is absolutely terrible. I had passed this place for 10+ years and now I know why. I needed to get alot of work done ($2500) and it was close. They were eager to get it in and get it done and it was done after 4 days. Some of the work looked good but I went into follow up on what I thought was a couple minor things. Hazard lights, ESP Button, Cruise Control, Auto Headlights, and Interior lights all not working. Figured they might be somehow related. Maybe a fuse or connection. He said I would have to leave it for 3 or 4 hours. He would not even let the mechanic take 15 minutes to prove that it wasnt the work he did. Mechanic was in the vehicle ready to pull it around but then the guy said to get out of the vehicle until I can leave it for 4 hours. They sold me all new brakes because they dont use the Lathe anymore they just replace rotors. $130 dollars to replace a $20 serpentine belt when they replaced the harmonic balancer. Who replaces a Harmonic balancer for $325? $120 dollars to replace $20 Rear window lift shocks. $90 just to check A/C Freon... A/C was working fine just want them to measure. But this proves they are dishonest. Instead of saying the A/C was fine they charged me. I dont mind paying for honest work but they are NOT Honest. I am glad I didnt let them touch the suspension, I probably would have crashed by now. Found out they dont even have a rack that can align a lifted vehicle. They would have to send it out. LIARS... I WILL NEVER RETURN and will flip a bird every time I pass it. Please do the same.

Who wants gum? Going to get the car fixed is always scary. Ridge Plaza Auto is great. They diagnosed the problem, got the parts and bam, my car is being fixed. Very reasonable with their charges, excellent service. What else could you ask for? Maybe juicy fruit...

DO NOT GO HERE! They replaced my tires with the wrong ones and my car did not drive correctly after taking off the lot. I returned back telling them the issue and they said it was because my tires were low on air. It turns out they sold me WINTER tires and my tire popped again. I called back to tell them what happened and the response was “Why are you calling here, there’s no warranty for the tires you purchased. What’s the purpose of this call” HORRIBLE SERVICE! And my life was at risk riding in tires that didn’t fit my car, that’s was how they handled the situation!!

Being a Professional mechanic For many years working for local governments I know a thing or two about auto repair. The owner jace has never turned a wrench in his life, and Tom is equally as useless. They will charge you for unnecessary repairs and charge for parts that were never installed. They treat their techs like slaves and take advantage of clients. Do yourself a favor and don’t become a victim.

This is half of 2 adjacent shopping plazas. Between the 2 large plazas on the south side of St Rd 84, you should be able to satisfy a wide variety of shopping & entertainment needs. Lots of free parking, mostly wheelchair accessible, some speeding drivers!

DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. I had my oil changed and they did not properly replace my splash guard. I ended up on the side of the road. A Mechanic properly reinstalled it. $$I called the OWNER (TOM) at RIDGE PLAZA TIRE & AUTO and he could care less. He was very rude and basically cut me off and said WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT IT. Not a good way to treat a customer. NEVER AGAIN.!!

The WORST tire shop I have ever been to. The owner is very lazy and not willing to give a customer what they want.Took a vehicle here to get a tire patched and they refused to patch it and would only plug it. They gave me the price of a patch then as mentioned plugged it and still charged same price as patch.I do know a patch is a better way to fix a tire and even offered to pay $100.00 for a patch and they refused.Unfortunately I was in a jam and it needed be be fixed.I wish I would have read these reviews before stopping here or I would have never stopped.Terrible customer service.

My battery died in the nearby parking lot. They helped me jump my car, brought it over, and replaced the battery. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. From the moment my car wouldnt start until I drive away was at most 15 minutes.

I would highly suggest you stay away from these guys. They are not honest and will do everything to try to get you to replace parts that are not broken. People always say the dealership is more expensive to fix your car. I would say these people are more expensive than the dealership would ever be. They truly do not have customer service skills! The older guy who claim to be the owner is the most obnoxious person I have ever met.

I dont normally do reviews. I will do them when I have exceptional service. You can guess what type of service I got. They are overpriced and could have been more upfront about warranty from Manuf but then they wouldnt have received $600.00 from us.

Brought in our work van due to leaking oil. Was told that it was the pan gasket. Charged us $400 to change it. Guess what? Issue was not fixed and 2 other mechanics say that the gasket was not replaced. Unfortunately, we didnt see these reviews before hand. That mistake wont happen again. I agree with everyone here.. Rip Off Artists!!

I just had a nail in my tire and wanted to get it plugged. Everytime Ive gotten a nail in my tire, most places fixed it for free so I give them a nice tip.. Anyways, the guy told me its $20.. wait actually well do $21. And I told him most places do it for free, to which he replied only regulars that spend money here I would give it to them for free maybe and was pretty rude about it and acted like he didnt know all of his competitors do it for free, saying wow, idk what place you go to, I need to go there. The only good thing is that the mechanic was really nice and I gave him $10 before I was surprised with their price there (which they didnt tell me when I asked before the service). Wasnt surprised this place has 1.6 stars. Next time Im driving right past them to a place with nicer management who care about their customer base to make money instead of ripping people off to make money like their comments seem to prove.

Complete lack of ethics! They dont stand behind their service and products! They sold me the wrong tires and when i pointed out their mistake, they said thats tough you have no warranty and terminated the call!!

These guys are crooks. I had an electrical issue so I left it to the guys to do the diagnosis. I didnt think it was the battery as the battery was new, albeit cheap. They determined the problem was the battery and then proceeded to spend an hour and a half checking all the additional ends of the electrical system. Hey, if you find the issue at step one then do not proceed to step two unless you call the customer. We argued over an hour and a half of labor and they did me a favor by knocking it down to one hour. I asked a nearby barber what he thought of this shop. Without breathing, and before I finished asking, he exclaimed crooks! He had been in the same plaza for 15 years and the reviews have always been the same. If I could give negative stars, I would.

Not sure why all the bad reviews but if my word means anything this place is good. They are honest i live all the way in pembroke pines and bring my vehicle here. They have done work on my saab and my audi and the prices are fair. They never made me do anything i didnt need.

I worked for this place for nearly 7 months as a mechanic. This place is one of the worst places to work and those who bring your car here to have work done you might as well turn around quick unless you want ripped off. They had me replace stuff that wasnt bad and the guys that run the place Jace and Tom are complete idiots and wouldnt know their ass from a hole in the ground. These guys are scammers and will do anything to make a dollar. They replace brake pads that are nearly new and tires so that they can resell them for 45 to 65 a piece. If I could rate this place a zero I would. Complete rip-offs. Also if you bring your car there for an oil change your getting recycled oil and no matter if your paying for synthetic your getting the regular 5w30 and you can almost guarantee that your oil filter isnt gonna be changed because they dont want to buy anything.

Steal from customers they dont have a a/c machine they dont have a alingment machine they dont sell synthetic oil no one is certified to work on cars they dont even have a diagnostic machine....there top mechanic goes right a long with the scam there running there! Look if you dont believe me ask them to show you or ask! Everyone has a right to know how and whats been used on your car which you are paying for dont be fooled by the skinny guy who acts like he doesnt hear you(he hears it all!) The fat guy with glasses is the biggest thief....one more thing ask to see where there back room is and not the one the tires but the one they paint peoples alternator and you tell me what you think there doing over there shady people and mechanics!

Folks tried to rip me off! Car was overheating and was told radiator needed to be replaced and the engine head gasket was cracked. I took the car to another store and was told that engine was perfectly fine and that I only needed to replace the radiator. Almost cost me $2000 of unnecessary work! Do not go here!

I would give this place less than a 1 star If I could. Please please ... do not go to this place. They are a bunch of theifs. I had both rear bearings replaced and now both are defective and they will not replace. I spent almost 1000 here.Bad business

The owner is a dick. His advise costs money, and its 60 bucks to look in the direction of your car. As a get into my car he says I dont do anything for free.

Dont waste your time going here. We went for a pre-purchase inspection, all information they gave was incorrect...almost like they inspected a different car. Would give 0 stars if we could.

Tom has been my mechanic for over a decade. There is nobody more fair and honest than him and thats rare in todays world.

There really should be a legal way to shut down businesses like these and be sued in a class action lawsuit to compensate people that were abused by places like this. This is not the only place that overcharges either. The TiresPlus is almost as bad. Make sure you know how long things take to replace. They charge 30 minutes for something that on the packages themselves say its a 5 minute job.

I dont know what everybody is complaining about. Took good care of me. Actually took time to replace a head lamp on a sunday afternoon (nobody is open on a sunday btw). Special ordered tires overnight and installed brake pads with no problems. Good prices on the tires, too. Surprised me a little. Usually independents are a little more expensive. Took car there for oil change. They said the throttle body and air filter were dirty. Told them to go ahead and do the repair. $ 105.00 later I was out the door. Check reviews after the fact wish I had gone some place else. Googled throttle body cleaning and found that with injected units throttle body seldom needs cleaning if ever. Don t do business with these guys, all they are doing is ripping customers off.
