Went in yesterday evening around 7pm, 9/16/21. Gelato was good but the employee was terribly snarky, sarcastic and rude from the moment we walked in. Looked like she absolutely hated her job and acted like it too. She’d be better off working a desk job with the kind of personality that drives customers away.

I ordered the afogato, where you get the ice cream here and the espresso two doors down at mishkas. Its a great concept because both components are really good quality but I think the communication needs to be better between restaurants or to the customers. When we walked into mishkas with our gelato, they were pretty slammed and the barista told us we would have to wait until she was done with the 10 or so tickets she had before she could make the espresso for us. I understand from her perspective why she would want to make us wait, but it also doesnt make sense since we had already paid for our ice cream and it would melt before we got our espresso. I definitely wont be ordering it in the future, just to avoid the stress of having to ask.

There were four of us that stumble upon this little gelato shop in the heart of downtown Davis. The young lady that served us and treated us to free samples were all smile. We ended up getting the regular size. We can combine flavors so I opted for honey lavender and cappuccino. Other flavors we tasted were good including coppa mista, tiramisu, creme brûlée and dark chocolate. It is definitely a place to go to for gelato after a nice lunch or dinner or after the movies!

The gelato was delicious😛, so many great flavors and the server was very helpful and friendly!

The Davis Icekrimski Cafe is an excellent stop when visiting the Varsity Theater

Great place for gelato in Davis. Very small place thats semi-attached to Varsity theater. Various flavors, pistachio is one of my favorites. Definitely prefer this more than most ice cream. They do have some tables outside of sit too.

I got green tea and pistachio, it was very meh. Maybe other flavors are more flavorful. Also kinda pricey for the amount given.

The best, this is what you want as an occasional treat... fantastic, great flavors gelato is superb...tiny place on 2nd Street of Davis, right next to a theater... it is an absolute most stop. By the way, it is just a minute from I-80.

It was one of the best ice cream places I have ever tried. I absolutely adored the honey lavender flavor and the little piece of cone that come with each order. I actually ended up sampling a lot of the flavors there before I got my two scoops and everything was delicious. It was hard to make a decision!

Delicious ice cream in an adorable little shop. Their chocolate-hazelnut gelato, pistachio gelato and lemon sorbet were all tasty. Some of the better gelato I’ve had in the US, and I would heartily recommend this little shop to Aggies 😊

Hands down the best ice cream

If you love gelato then you must try this place. Connected to the Varsity theater, its quite a wonderful treat to be able to have some delicious cold concoction. My favorite flavors are the tiramisu and the honey lavender. Feel free to ask the friendly staff to sample any flavors you may ponder because there are some gems in there.

Flavors unmatched by any other Gelato shop in Davis. Real flavors here and homemade!!!
