B &D Automotive, (formally G-Tech Automotive), is an awesome auto repair shop!First and foremost, they are honest and fair as far as cost is concerned. I have used them for all my auto repair needs for years and have recommended them to friends & family without hesitation. They have all had a great experience with these guys. I started using them for my vehicle repair needs when they were still G-Tech, and they were great then as well. I continue to use them and the new owner and his staff are just as honest, fair, and knowledgeable as before. Simply said, this is a top notch place and with a top notch staff!

I only gave it 3 stars because I wasnt the one who had work done on my vehicle, my mother did. That being said...she hasnt had any problems with the work they performed on the front end of her SUV that Im aware of so I cant really say either way if I think theyre good or not! Someone there looked under my dashboard for the box that they hook those little machines to in order to give you codes about what needs repaired on ones vehicle and that person said the piece under my dashboard wasnt even there just to find out at pep boys that it IS there! In his defense, though, a different radio, as well as a remote starter, was put in my car before I bought it and the wires under the dash are pretty jumbled up down there so Im sure thats why he couldnt locate the piece he was looking for.

Chris and his team are great. Quick turnaround. Accurate estimates. Couldnt be happier especially when we all fear the worst as to repairs and their costs.

This place is a great business! We were on our way out of town and our car had an issue, we googled the nearest place and this was it, we stopped and he took a look at the car and was able to help us right away, even with a packed place and lots to do, the lady at the front desk drive and got the parts for us and he got them out in all in about an hour! They were both so friendly and so helpful!!! Great service and very very knowledgeable!

Took my car here to have it checked out, and a guy by the name of Cody worked on my car. The job really probably should’ve taken a day’s worth of time max, but my thermostat casing was broken in the process which is very inconvenient for someone who is working more than 55 hours in a week and needs their car for traveling. After returning my car to me, there was an antifreeze leak and I didn’t know until after my car began smoking from the hood because I drove it 30 miles with hardly any antifreeze in it. You’d think after replacing a part, you’d check to make sure EVERYTHING was fine and in working condition. Poor experience, poor waste of time, and a very unfortunate waste of money. Don’t take your vehicle here. Point blank.

Chris was very nice and professional. Communicating with me during the day on what my truck needed. Cost for repair was reasonable and less than other shops in the area.

Will they try to take advantage of me?All youll find here is respect.They have always been straight up with us. What we need. Things we need to look out for. And above all, they way they treat us personally.They dont try to just upsell you. Im 64 years old. Ive never met a more honest mechanic or more friendly lady who answered the phone. I believe her name is Kayla. Theyre only concern was getting me back on the road as quickly as possible without inflating the price because I was from another town. Five stars for these guys. Im not an easy person to please :-)

This is the ultimate neighborhood shop where you can find a competent mechanic(s), an owner who is a good businessman and has terrifically helpful support staff. What more could you want! The ABSOLUTELY best mechanic and service shop in the Dayton area...The work is top notch and I know because they fixed (supposed fixed work by another shop)...Their prices are very fair and you dont have issues after the work is done...Chris is very honest, (Which is a rarity in the automotive trade), Sheila who runs the office takes your calls and returns your calls promptly...After going there the first time, youll never want to go anywhere else, nor should you...

Changed out my 95 Toyota Previa Supercharged engine a few years ago with a used JDM one from Japan. Cheaper or near the cost the Toyota dealership wanted to put on a new head gasket on the existing engine that blew. These JDM engines only have about 40-50k miles on them. A better option than a rebuild.
