We had an awesome experience starting with Mark our flooring consultant. We needed our walk-out basement to be done quickly, and the crew came in and did it in under half a day. We are super pleased with the service and the good communication!!

Although it took a while to get our product, McSwain made exceptional effort to procure our flooring. Once received, installation was quick and the work done was very good. Very pleased with the outcome and would certainly recommend them.

Matt Gantz just finished installing flooring in our last two bedrooms. He did an excellent job. We are very pleased with the total experience we had. We needed the flooring to be installed on certain dates and they were able to accommodate our needs.We had our twenty-one year floors in two rooms and two bathrooms replaced. The entire experience from sales to installation went great. We needed the floors installed within a certain time frame and it was done when needed. The installation gentlemen were very polite and professional. We had such a pleasant experience that we just purchased some more flooring here in 2021. Gordon Finn was able to measure our remaining rooms and we signed the contract all in the same visit. We are looking forward to having it installed in July of 2021.

My wife and I were very pleased with our salesman Mark and the installers of our new floors. All three gentlemen were knowledgeable and attentive to our desires and wishes.Our flooring was purchased through Costco and I cannot say enough good things about them and the relationship between them and McSwain Carpets and Floors. Our salesman did a great job measuring and answering our questions and the installers were simply outstanding.The only hiccup we had was in the bathroom and McSwain has already made arrangements to have someone come out next week and take care of it.Secondly, there was a small amount of molding that needed to be returned, however, our salesman said we can expect a refund check from McSwain in the next week or so.Finally, we can not be happier with Costco and the program and service they provide. I love my new carpet!!! The sales process was very easy and Gordon helped the whole way. He brought a sample to our home so we could have an idea of what it would look like once down. We did run into 1 install issue, but the customer service lady( Heidi I believe) walked us through it and it was fixed very quickly. I will definitely use McSwain for any future flooring needs.

Gordon Finn did a marvelous job of helping us find the right flooring and toe molds (even a home visit!) for 5 rooms in our house, getting it ordered, and keeping us informed regarding the progress of the order. The installation process went very smoothly as well, with a pair of fellows with 26 and 27 years of experience, who went above and beyond for an excellent result. We are very pleased with everything about the entire process dealing with McSwain.

Walked in the door and was greeted by a salesman Gordon Finn, right away he answered questions and showed me the type of carpet I was looking for. My time with work was not matching with the person who comes out and measures, so he came on his own time to measure my rooms. Installation went well and the installers were very nice. Love my new carpet.

We went into McSwains after being a little discouraged at a competitors store where we were told the carpet we liked was not going to hold up and would look terrible and were steered toward something the sales person wanted us to buy that he had in stock. We left and went to McSwains where Gordon not only listened to what we needed but also made suggestions based on what we wanted... not what was only in stock. We had to wait a few weeks for the carpet but it was well worth it - we love it! And we got the carpet we wanted! Gordon was very professional and super communicative - installers did a professional and thorough job as well. We will definitely stop at McSwains first when looking for flooring in the future.

They were great! Gordon knew his stuff about what we were looking for, and recommended something that was on sale over something more expensive, which we appreciated.The installation team made an exception for us and installed on a Saturday as we were on a timeline to move into a new house. They arrived earlier than quoted (calling ahead first), which was great. Two installers did three bedrooms in well under three hours.I should have asked before purchasing, but if youre in a rush, do ask about installation lead times. Ive never bought carpet before, so I didnt know what kind of timeline to expect.

Absolutely horrible job of installing. It cost more than a higher quality carpet we could’ve gotten from Lowe’s. Paid no attention to detail. Scratched and marred are molding. Already pulling up at transition points after a few months. Do not use this company!

Mark Lawson was our salesman and did an outstanding job answering all of our questions and moving us along in the sales process without being pushy. Ronnie Guy was the lead installer for my LVP, and he did a quality job. Ronnie is a craftsman for sure, and we benefited from his skills as the wife and I love the look of our new LVP. Bottom line is I have no hesitation recommending McSwain based on our recent experience.

We had 5 star everything!! We had great customer service with Gordon. He came out that day and did the measurements. McSwain called and scheduled. We had to post pone for a week and they were on top and rescheduled, The installers were quiet and got their job done. They cleaned up there mess and was not there to long. I would recommend anybody to go there. I will be using them in my future office.

We have used McSwain in Centerville, dealing with Cherie... with great success. She was very helpful in making our selection as well as providing us with a competitive price. I can’t say enough for our installer ... The laminate floor that was delivered was faulty and the installer identified it quickly and took care of returning the faulty product and getting new material to us in a timely manner. We are still planning to do additional flooring in a large area of our home and will be using McSwain again.

The whole process went well. They were very nice to deal with. They should have sent more than one person to install more than 500 sq. ft. of carpet yet he did a great job.

His professionalism allowed this transaction to move forward in a relaxed manner. His suggestions and attention to details assisted us in our decision making process. I am very happy with the installation of my new carpet, flooring, and back splash in my kitchen and family room. There was a problem with the back splash installer which delayed my installation for a day. Being a former flooring salesman, I can understand that these problems can arrive.I think that I would recommend using installers in the Dayton area to save on travel time which would allow the installer to have more time on the job. This would benefit both, the installer and McSwain Carpet.The salesman was extremely knowledgeable and courteous.

Great service

Contracted them to replace carpet and flooring in a hall and 2 rooms. They showed up 4 hours late on the scheduled date, then didnt finish the job. Scheduled to come back and were no shows without any notice. When they finally did come back, they were 3 hours late. Caught employees eating my food. They forgot to do one of the rooms and here I am 2 months later with the job still unfinished. I have tried to work with customer service and I am assured I would be contacted. I have been blown off multiple times trying to resolve this issue. They left nails in my driveway that punctured one of my tires. Will never use them again.

Cherie in Centerville store was great! John at corporate office was great! Both are assets to McSwains. Experience with installation, however, was horrible! Carpet smelled like smoke due to installers smoking in van, around carpet in drive/garage, and vaping in my house. John paid to have new carpet professionally cleaned. Items of value went missing after completion of job when no one else had access to my son’s bedroom or my toolbox in the garage. Very sad when u trust people and expect the best and then they steal from you. Absolutely no other explanation. Location of missing items was clearly known the day before installers arrival.

We have worked with this store for many years. Carpet hardwoods and rolled vinyls .The staff is knowledgeable and considerate to our needs,they know when to back off and let us ponder. No pressure to buy, they always greet as well as say goodbye.

Did our new office at work and it turned out great ! The guys are professional and Curtises. They laid just over 650 sq.feet of floor and tile under 3 days. I would at least get a quote before you go anywhere else!

I am not sure that I would rate McSwains as high as 1 star, but this system requires at least 1 star to be chosen. I would rather not get into all the problems that we had with McSwain Carpets and Floors getting our carpet installed, just know that we will never be using McSwains for our carpet needs ever again. This is not the 1st time that weve had problems with carpet installation with McSwains, but it will be our last.

Great service

Most unprofessional management I have ever dealt with. We had a problem with the installation of our floor. Chris the Dayton store manager came out looked at it and told me ram it up my a$$ and get a Attorney. After dealing with there so called corporate guy for 3 weeks they sent out another installer and said they, they could not do anything with the floor they installed. They did refund my initial cost of the flooring but didnt cover the removal of the existing floor or the one they installed. We had to pay for both and the removal and installation of appliances.

Had a carpet install scheduled for wednesday and the entranceway was not completed but the saleslady said that was no problem. The carpet installers showed up and said they could not install the carpet unless the emtranceway was completed. He said he would install the entranceway and carpet the next day, thursday. I went to work then came home to a partially installed entranceway with a note that they will finish Friday. Came home from work Fri nothing was touched. Came home from work Sat nothing was touched. Called saleslady she mustve contacted installers because they came Sunday but they werent happy. They smashed a shelf and didnt attach carpet at end of hallway and left rolls of old carpet,padding and trash on my porch which im still trying to contact someone to remove
