Beat place to buy tools for fair price sometimes you only need a tool one time so why pay more when you have harbor freight tools that are just as capable as some big high end named tools for instance I’ve riding my wood floors with their cheapest belt sander and palm sander

I hadnt been here in years. I found several things i didnt know I needed and some that I did need at much better prices than at Lowes.Had a good time wandering the aisles.

I bought a mini grease gun several months ago and 3 grease cartridges, the grease cartridges didnt fit. I went back and bought 3 more that were hanging right next to the mini grease gun that I bought before and on the label it says that they work with the mini grease gun. And those 3 oz cartridges dont fit in the gun either.I am a disabled veteran who doesnt live close to the store so I took the cartridges back 3 weeks after I bought them and the manager said she didnt know how a grease gun works and I should take it to an auto parts store and see if they could help. Since I am in the middle of moving I cant find the receipt. And even though it was in the package and a Harbor Freight bag I couldnt get a refund.I have spent a ton of money in Harbor Freight but this kind of Customer service is the end of that.

This Harbor freight is fine. Usually well stocked. The location is surrounded by abandoned businesses and druggies and dealers. Unfortunately there is not much Harbor freight can do about this themselves.

Hey its the Chinese version of Any hardware store. At 1/4 the price. But remember.. you get what you pay for. Theres a major difference between Chrome plated Steel and Chrome Vanadium Steel. And basically the difference between forged and cast metals.

Typicall love this place but not this time, spent 1200 bucks there and couldnt get a single employee to help me get a framing gun off the top shelf so I had to climb and get it myself also couldnt get any help loading up an air compressor I bought.

Fairly decent store. Most of the employees are friendly and helpful theres been one cashier thats always rude, but most of the time its a pleasant experience.

If you dont mind lesser grade tools, they have a great variety to choose from. And at a reasonable price.

Great choice for less $$ especially a tool you might use 1 time a year. For the price cant beat them.

Just a suggestion. Hire competent cashiers. Make sure they can read, write, count, and know their colors. Also another helpful tip hire people who may have seen a large denomination bill a time or two. Before they falsely accuse someone of presenting a fake $100 dollar bill. Maybe extra cash counting and recognizing US CURRENCY should be a job requirement. Turns out the cashier was mistaken after announcing he couldn’t accept the bill. These kind of mistakes can not and should not happen this day and age. So I will contact the corporate office to let them know they are lacking in their cashier hiring practices or maybe just maybe ethics training when dealing with different customers so their employees know that everyone is not the same. And should be handled accordingly. A sincere apology would have been greatly appreciated.

Always a good source for inexpensive tools and other items.I dont like that they try to extract your phone number at the checkout.Dont we have enough criminal telemarketer calls already. The scammers could hack HFs data base, as they have so many other companies, and then we know what they do with the numbers.I refuse to share it. I suggest every one else does too.

My husband sent me with an exact name of the tool he needed me to buy. The woman working the front register pointed me to the right isle and radioed for someone to meet me there. The man who met me took only a half second to find what I needed. He even pointed out the blade I’d need to buy to go with it. As I walked to the front to check out I quickly found a 20% off coupon online. Easy! Great expense here!

I love harbor freight. Just due to 2 staff Im not going give them 4 stars. This 2 staff on the register were busy talking talking and talking. I ask them for help they ignored me. When they finished talking after most 3 minutes then what I can help. I said u to help me instead he pointed on raw 2 and said its there. Yesterday, I have shopped almost $500. And what dud that mean to me? Insulting. They are paid help customers not talking.

Always have great sales and good coupons. If you dont get them in the mail you can download there app on your smartphone and get them that way and they can scan them at the register.

Lady at the checkout counter couldn’t be bothered to look up to see if something was in stock. Never have any issues at the Troy location. If you need any real help it’s best to just make the trip to Troy.

Whats a good place to go with you need some tools I dont really recommend it if youre going to use the tools every day youre just not made that well but you pay for what you get what you pay for its its like I said you know if you need a tool you get it cheap cuz you only need to use it once or maybe a dozen times and so its a good place to shop very nice they got pretty much anything you need fixing aspect of life fixing things

Awesome deals. Most of the staff is helpful. Female cashier was clearly annoyed by questions and had the personality of a sea slug. The GM was even standing next to her so her behavior must be tolerated. Who doesnt stop up their game when the boss is watching? Ill go back because the deals are good and they have what I need.

Great place for tool deals. They carry their own specific brands of tools that are cheaper than name brands and their tools work just as good as others only cheaper.

Its a good place to get cheap tools..

They used to be cheap on the price, but now they are just as expensive as Home Depot or Lowes. Dont bother with the titanium drill bits. Even though they are a lifetime guarentee they just break after two or three holes.

They have what I need, and for the tools I work with most often they are able to provide it.
