Im very pleased with how I was treated. The staff was so helpful. Helen was sweet and caring about my repair request. Shawn listened carefully to my ideas on how to incorporate my broken wedding band into my late father’s wedding band. He offered suggestions on how he could combine them into one ring. We agreed on the best method and he got to work. I was so very impressed with the workmanship! He re-sized my Dad’s ring and wrapped my ring around it and soldered them both together. I recently purchased an engagement ring, wedding ring for my wife and a wedding ring for myself all at Humphreys. The rings all fit perfect, look amazing and we continue to get compliments about how great they look. The great staff, Sean the jeweler and Mrs Humphreys were a really great help when I was deciding what rings to purchase from the wide variety that they have. Humphreys also has other items on display such as rare coins, watches and an old Spanish treasure chest. If youve not been to Humphreys on Main street I would highly suggest you stop in to look around, have a friendly conversation and possibly hear some stories about past bike weeks and famous people have stopped by there in the past.

I contacted them to see if they could repair a Seiko Kinetic sports watch that I have had for many years. Seiko wanted me to mail it to NJ for an estimated repair and shipping of over $140.Humphreys & Son told me that they would check and if they could do the repair they would let me know. They reviewed my information and description of the problem and gave me an estimate of $78.Polite service, prompt service. It was a pleasure dealing with them and I will definitely be using them in the future.

I had to have my ring restored, there was extensive damage due to an accident I had to have it cut from my finger. They understood the sentimental value of the piece and made it just as beautiful as new, and just as strong, while making sure the ring didnt lose any of the original details. Beautiful work.

Very disappointed. My order to have black onyx beads restrung, a diamond ring cleaned, diamond earrings modified and diamonds removed from the earrings placed on an existing necklace took 3 months. Moved here from Orlando 2 years ago and looking for a good jewelry shop where I now live. Yes, life happens-children going to college, a birthday. Took 3 months and the final product not to my liking and after extensive involvement and communication about outcomes. A wonderful family with Christian values drew me to this place-their service did not come close to what I expected. Very poor communication between staff-requiring a follow-up call or visit with the person who had needed information. I provided some gold pieces to submit as scrap and a credit toward my bill. The amount I received was not what I was told I would receive. Again, not the person I originally dealt with. I did follow-up with a phone call inquiring about the discrepancy, unfortunately, the right thing was not done. I spent a lot of money and a significant amount of time and after 3 months-decided the best thing to do was to get my belongings and leave. Will not return.

Took my Grandmothers 1943 silver wheat penny coin there after calling and they told me to come in and that they were very egar to do business with me, was immediately unwelcomed as soon as I walked the door felt stereotyped and judged.one woman came around the corner and was like do you have an appointment? I explained why I was there and that I was told to come at a specific time that expert coin master would be there . Was very excited to show her what I had because these were my Grandmas who lived to be 102 when she passed away she acted like I was wasting her time and said that they get lots of people thinking that they have something worth money and its just pocket change. She dismissed my coin and truly hurt my feelings .I will never go there again !! And will I ever recommend anyone to go there. Weather there an expert or not, no one should feel like I did when I walk out of that place. Worst customers service ever!

Let me start off by saying that my dad and two brothers are jewelers. They own a store in the Boston area. I needed to have my engagement ring sized up half a size and Rhodium plated. My brother offered to send me a shipping label so I could mail my ring to them to complete the repair. I was very nervous about sending my ring in the mail. I was worried that it would it get lost in the mail. I know, I could insure my ring, but its my engagement ring and very sentimental. I work in Daytona and thought Id try to find a jeweler close by. I did a lot of research and found Humphreys and Son. I brought my ring in last Thursday. My ring is 14K White Gold. The price was fair. Of course I had to check what my family would charge a non family customer. Even though their price was about $45 less than what I was quoted from Humphreys, I had to take into account that my familys business has always charged significantly less than anywhere else. Its how theyve remained a successfull business thats been open for 35+ years. My ring was ready exactly one week as promised, the sizing is perfect, and my ring shines as brightly as the day my husband proposed. Im very happy I went to Humphreys and Son and I highly recommend them.

Shawn gave us a price to thoroughly clean and examine. When we returned a week or two later, Shawn cut the agreed-upon price in half, since he was unable to accomplish, according to his high standards, what he had offered. We then discussed with him other options of using the gemstones. We decided to have Shawn place the stones in new settings as earrings and matching pendant. He applied the value of the old platinum settings to our new purchase. When we returned for the finished pieces, he had done a wonderful job selecting the settings and mounting the stones to best show their beauty. A friend of ours was looking for a particular coin; Humphreys was able to find it at a reasonable price and ordered it for us. Humphreys is where we make ALL our jewelry repairs and purchases they have just done a BEAUTIFUL repair on a diamond ring that I had custom made several years ago. I sadly “lost” a diamond in the ring 😭 and Shaun did a beautiful repair. I think the ring looks even better now. I always get compliments on the ring. My fiancée, Debbie, wanted a unique diamond engagement ring that had a nautical look. Well, Id like to inform you her want was VERY hard to fill! But after a diligent online search I luckily discovered the perfect ring that a reputable jeweler in California had purchased at an estate sale. This beautiful platinum antique ring resembles a seashell. When one of the over thirty superb stones fell out we took it to Humphreys and they quickly repaired it and when we picked it up not only was it fixed with a replacement antique diamond that matched the rest of the stones perfectly, they cleaned it so well it was sparkling! It has never looked this great. From the helpful sales staff to the backroom artisans, I cant offer enough praise about how nice it is to deal with such pleasant and professional individuals! Our repair was done right and the price was fair as well. Thats a combo that deserves two thumbs up!

However, since I had not properly estimated her ring size, we needed Shawn to redo the ring which was a big ordeal since the diamonds went all the way around (contrary to his advice). My wifes wedding ring lost its stone (emerald) after many years and needed some rehab work done anyway, so we took it into Humphreys for a new stone and redesign. Shawn worked with us over a period of time to select the right stone and setting, and the result was spectacular. The new ring sufficiently resembled the old one and used some of the old accent diamonds (which saved us some money and for sentimental value), but also had a more updated look and fit better. Truly a work of art! We will readily recommend Humphreys & Son and Shawn to friends and family.

Why would you ever go to a chain jewelry store when you could go to a locally family owned for decades jewelery store. One of the diamonds on my wedding band was loose. I left it this morning and had it back by end of day. It was also beautifully polished. While there they also cleaned and polished my engagement ring. Beautiful selection of jewelry and watches too. So convenient on Main Street with easy on property parking. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. If you need a jeweler in Daytona Beach this is a safe great choice!

I was very pleased to be greeted by smiling faces and friendly attitudes at Humphrey & Sons Jewelers. I was greeted by Pattys beautiful smile who I just met last year while visiting my parents during bike week. Patty is very helpful and goes above and beyond to help anyone who walks in the door. Every year I visit my parents I will make a point to visit Humphreys and purchase a piece of jewelry to show off in NH. The prices are also very fair. I took my mothers platinum and diamond rings that she wore for decades to be repaired and the staff at Humphreys & Son took great care of me. The rings were restored beautifully, missing diamonds replaced, and prongs were re-secured. I will be able to enjoyed these rings for years to come. I love this wonderful family business because they are honest and the craftsmanship is top notch, second to none. I will be back to restore many more pieces of my mothers jewelry in the near future.

Took my girlfriends rings in that have been in the family for 60 years, they took great care of us and the rings! made them look brand new, and they fit her perfectly, pricing was unbelievable. she was sad to leave them, they said they would have them ready in 4 days we got them back in two days!! we will never go to a different jeweler, everyone was so nice and helpful!! we couldnt be happier with the rings!!! amazing people and service!! we are so thankful for what they did!!

As a breast cancer survivor who wears a Medical Alert bracelet, I can not say enough about the staff at Humphreys & Son Jewelers. My braceletchain broke just before Hurricane Irma visited. I was at wits end, when a friend suggested Humphreys & Son. I went into the store on September 15, 2017 and explained my situation. The jeweler was shown my bracelet and pointed out an additional crack in the face plate. I was told that it could take a couple of days to repair and they would put a rush on my order. I dropped the bracelet off around 11:30 am and received a call that my bracelet was ready shortly after 5 pm. After wearing my bracelet for 5 years, it looks brand new.The staff at Humphreys is very caring about their clients and will help in any way possible. I will be visiting Humphreys again.Thanks again Jean

I went in to purchase a gift and the owner and staff were just great, honest, nice people. They were more than happy to show all of the items that they had, and even shared some stories of the items and history etc. There was no sales pressure, and they even asked me if i wanted a drink. You feel very much at home at the store, very nice environment, and I will definitely go back again, I would highly recommend.

We knew Humphreys was a trusted business as we had previously purchased silver from them. So it was an easy choice when we needed a trustworthy jeweler to make a new creation...I wanted my original engagement stone put into a new custom ring. It took some time to decide exactly what I wanted and they were very helpful and patient in the process. We ended up with a beautifully designed and fairly priced custom ring. 5 Stars to Humphreys for their honest and quality family-run business.

The staff are quite courteous and care about the quality of service they provide. So far they have assisted me with repairing two pieces of jewelry that hold great importance to me.The first was a gold watch that belonged to my father that is over 65 years old. They helped me select and order a new watchband for the piece that was more befitting a woman. Then they gave the old watch a good cleaning.The second piece Humphreys and Sons repaired was a garnet ring that belonged to my Mother who is deceased. The gem had numerous chips in it and they gave me the option to either replace the garnet or have them send it off to a specialist to have it re-cut. As this gem held sentimental meaning to me I opted to have the garnet fixed.I could not be more pleased with the finished product! When they received the repaired stone back they reset it and resized the ring to fit my small finger. It turned out beautifully.I would highly recommend Humphreys and Sons and I plan to hire them again in the future to help me update and repair some more family heirlooms.

Staff is wonderful. They are always so pleasant and helpful regardless of why you are there. I havent actually purchased anything there but have had multiple repairs and cleanings done and have always been treated as if I were their best customer. I would highly recommend them.

My experience with these folks was better than I could have ever hoped for! My fiancé and I are getting married this upcoming July. They helped in creating the most amazing custom designed wedding band Ive ever seen. I took the time to do my research as to what I was looking for. Once I had the idea they went to work. Sent up to date emails to let me know where they were in the process and for additional feedback and ideas. Needless to say, once it was completed which only took a couple weeks. My mountain scene wedding band is amazing! The detail is beautiful and its just what I always imagined my ring would look like. The detail of casting in the trees, rivers, mountains and cabins are incredible to look at. As you spin the ring around you feel as if it takes you to the Rocky Mountains. Being that thats where Im from and our love of the mountains and nature it is the perfect ring. They even took the time to engrave two twin owls on the inside with our wedding date. We are getting married on Twin Owl Loop in Colorado. It was very kind of them to do that for us. I would recommend this company to anyone looking for a very fair price with expert craftsmanship work on anything you need done. I will be using them for anything I can. There are not enough stars to adequately rate Humphreys and Sons. As an avid collector of coins and jewelry I always find something new and wonderful there. I never feel like I am walking into a retail store but a friends place who just happens to sell coins and jewelry. The staff is warm, friendly and informative. The owner, Helen, is more of a hostess than a manager and her son, Shawn, is a master at his craft! Integrity is paramount for me and they possess it in spades, or should I say diamonds!

I’m just now posting this message after using their professionally outstanding service a couple of years ago, but here I find myself needed and wanting to use them again. I never would have expected the type of service and attention like I received from the Humphrey family. We have been loyal customers for many years, but a recent experience was worth writing about. My husband gave me a beautiful yellow diamond ring that was an estate piece from Humphreys. After a month, one of the baguettes fell out. Shawn promptly replaced it. Then another small diamond fell out. Shawn was clearly disappointed with the quality of the piece he had sold us. He found out the ring, even though it had never been worn, had come from a large jewelry chain, but had been poorly constructed.Shawn told me he wanted to have the ring remade (!) so I would be proud of it and not deal with more missing diamonds. He had recently began doing business with a new jewelry designer and asked them to provide some designs. Shawn sent me the designs so I could select my favorite setting. Using the same center yellow diamond, they enhanced it with a halo of yellow and white diamonds and added a diamond split shank.Needless to say, the ring is now spectacular and I am so happy with it. There are very few businesses these days that would handle a problem like this, and I would recommend them highly.

Shawn and Laura and their staff were great in working with us on a custom designed engagement ring. We were using some diamonds from a 100 year old family ring. They listened and worked with us to really understand what we wanted. I am so pleased with the design Shawn came up with and the final product exceeded my expectations. We will certainly use Humphreys again.

After going through this process once before, I learned a lot about where to buy, what to buy and what you’re buying. Had I just gone to Humphreys and Son from the get go, I would have had that all throughly explained to me prior to buying. I never felt rushed or pressured into buying something that day, unlike the chain store I bought from previously. They went through all the different grades of diamonds and showed me the difference between them. They’re all GIA certified, which is the most well-known and respected diamond grading laboratory. I ended up with a ring that was substantially better quality at a fraction of what I paid at one of the chain stores. Not only that but they gave me a great trade in value for my previous ring. I can’t say enough good things about Humphrey and Sons. They’re a great group of people that truly care about you and it shows in their outstanding customer service and craftsmanship.

I took an antique ring in to have a lost stone replaced. They found some other repairs needed, gave me 3 estimates for different levels of repair. I selected the middle one. When I picked up the ring, the cost was substantially less than the estimate, the ring was clean, shiny, and beautiful, and while I paid for it they cleaned my wedding ring for free. The ring was beautiful, protected against further loss of stones, price was better than expected, the ladies at the counter were very pleasant - what else could you ask for?

Had a wonderful experience! Brought in a bunch of old coins my grandfather gave me and through selling them managed to reduce my debt! Was given a very fair price and treated incredibly well. Staff is very knowledgeable and friendly!

Tried to sell some Gold and Silver coins here. The owner looked at one coin, called it a fake and left me standing at the counter. I took those same coins to a coin dealer in Holly Hill and he purchased them all. Dont take your coins here!!!
