Great customer service I rented a scooter and took it out for 10 minutes and knew it wasnt for me. Brought it back and exchanged it for a gas powered golf cart. Did not hesitate to apply my full refund for the golf cart. I would definitely recommend him.

I recently visited Daytona and rented a few mopeds through Daytona Fun Rental. The weekend quickly went from a fun relaxing time with friends to chaotic after speaking with the owner at Daytona Fun Rental. The owner repeatedly screamed and yelled at our friend after he simply asked for the deposit he put down for the mopeds. Not to mention, the mopeds were not mechanically sound causing one of our friends to fall off and causing road rash that now covers most of his torso and legs. If you are looking for friendly service with a smile, I suggest you find another place. Definitely not how we were expected to be treated after renting most of the mopeds he had available.

Absolute Trash. Don’t bother calling they will rudely answer the phone and scream at you if you ask about jet ski’s even though it’s pictured on their site and in their photos for google. We will be permanently socially distancing from this garbage establishment.

Worst customer service I have ever had. Rude rude RUDE. They have a 15 year old running their service, on his own, wonderful kid, great service from him! He checked the bikes before we left and things were fine. We got back to return the bikes and a different man was there. He IMMEDIATELY got an attitude with me about a crack on the moped that the 15 year old could not determine if it was there when we left or not. The boy said he did not check that side and the moped had been sitting outside when we arrived. The man then proceeds to run his mouth about how he saw my boyfriend riding the moped in a parking lot while I was in the bathroom at Walgreens basically accusing us of wrecking the moped, which did not happen. I would NOT patronize this business unless you want the employees to try and blame damage on you that was not caused by you.

My husband and I decided to take a last minute beach trip. We arrived in Daytona at 3:00 pm on a Saturday. We had no previous reservation. I contacted this company as well as many others. While on the phone getting rates from him for a 4 seater golf cart, he also recommended several places to stay. From nice less expensive locations to higher end locations! We chose the Hard Rock Hotel!! Great recommendation!He met me and my husband with the golf cart at a parking lot right next our Hotel! He was there before we were! We were VERY impressed with the golf cart! It was a nice blue with matching rims and Blue tooth speakers!!! He took his time to go over how to use the blue tooth system and how to use the golf cart! He explained the best places for us to visit on the golf cart, parking suggestions, and told us perfect beach locations to visit!!!We rented the golf cart for a full 24 hours!! We did have to pay a deposit, but do you blame the owner? He has to have some type of security that you will handle his property well!!Absolutely suggest using them!!! We will definitely be using them in the future!!!

I rent mopeds any time I travel and this was a great experience. Mike is who we worked with and he was very fast and professional. We rented the moped for a 24 hour period and had a blast. The mopeds were in good condition and you could tell they had been taken care of. If you are in Daytona and looking for a way to have some fun I would for sure recommend Daytona Fun Rentals!

The owner was very rude, and we reserved at a specific time but he was late, and the owner has no people skills on the phone. I was told a price on the phone and when I arrived the price was different as there was a deposit, that I was not told on the phone. I was told by the owner to wait 30 minutes and he came 45 mins later. The owner stated that he should have charged us for a half hour more, after him being late he did not even consider the fact that he was 45 mins late. When we told him that we apologize for being 19 minutes late due to we were unable to find the correct bridge to get back, he stared at us and shook his head and stated that he should have charged us more. If I could give this review a ZERO I would. AVOID THIS PLACE AND SAVE YOUR MONEY,YOU WILL BE WASTING YOUR MONEY AND TIME WITH A RUDE AND NASTY PERSON!!!!!!!

Had a blast with the new jet skis they have one hour for 75 dollars. mine only had 4.5 five hours on it no trouble getting it up to 60 mph with me and the wife onboard. I will be coming back for more

These guys did a great job. They were ready within 15 minutes of making a reservation, had better prices than their competition, and told us everything we needed to know. Our experience with Daytona fun rentals was as good as we could have imagined. Also the jetski we rode had only 6 hours on the clock.

We had called about a price for a 6 seater golf cart and was informed that it would be $95 for 4 hours. We drive 30 minutes to this place and we have trouble finding it because there is no building with the name on it, only a little scooter on a sidewalk with the name on it in small print. The owner yelled at me when I called for directions and then hung up on me. When we arrived he came out and then raised the price up on us saying its going to be $195 and not $95 like we were first told. I said how someone told us $95 when we called and he said that we must have talked to his brother and his brother would NEVER tell someone its $95. I said well then we arent going to do it since we were lied to be and laughed and said have fun finding someone else cheaper and before I was even done talking he turned around and walked back into this building shutting the door in our face. We would NEVER give someone who is this rude any more or buisnes . If I could give zero stars, i would!!

This is the place to rent from with out a doubt. I have 17 years experience in operating retail stores, with over 600 employees and 60,000 customers a week coming thru my store, I dont profess to be an expert but I wanted to let you know I have some background with taking care of customers.I rented 4 scooters for 3 days on 6/15/15. The quality of the equipment was great, the service we received was outstanding and the training we received on the operation of the scooters was just as good. During our rental time we had 2 unexpected issues come up on our part where we needed to return the scooters in before our scheduled time. I did not expect a refund in either situation as it was our fault not the businesss and in both cases the owner went above and beyond to help us.

The man here was very rude from the start, we had called to see how much the golf cart rentals where so we could cruise around and he had spoken very rudely through the phone, as soon as we got there he jacked up the prices, and insisted we werent going to find one cheaper anywhere. Lies

IF YOU ARE CONSIDERING RENTING ANYTHING FROM THIS PLACE, PLEASE READ THIS FIRST!!! Where do I begin? My brother and I had never been to Daytona Beach and wanted to rent scooters so we could travel the island freely, on and off road. We decided to go with Daytona Fun Rentals since they had a pretty good price for 24 hours. I now understand why they are so cheap. First of all, the owner knew we were coming by 7 pm to get the scooters. We got there right at 7 pm and the owner was nowhere to be seen. I called him 3 times, no response. In fact, a homeless man was the first one to greet us, he said he would call him and tell him we were there. Im sorry but when I have my wife and family with me, and youre in a sketchy area at NIGHT like this place is in you dont want to be there waiting long. Good thing I had my concealed carry because that was a not-so-hot neighborhood. Anyway, after about 20 minutes, the owner showed up with his girlfriend and let us in the rental store. The owner begins to pick the scooters out for us and cant get one to start. Now look, I ride motorcycles for a living and I know a thing or two about how they operate. They are not much different than a two-wheeled scooter. He had no battery tender hooked to any of his bikes and it was December, an off season for the scooters, so the batterys were drained. Beside that, he finally got it started and it died after taking it out and that was a NEW scooter? He explained. After it died he pulled out another and it also took some time to crank it up. After it started we signed our papers and left the business. The first thing I noticed when we left was that my scooter was missing half a right brake lever...that seems safe...(sarcasm). Beside the small mechanical issues, the BIGGEST problem was the power in those scooters. I want to say it took us about 3 minutes or so to get up to roadway speed (which was about 35 mph.) I had to drive on the side of the road, in the shoulder, just to get to speed and then merge onto the road. After we got the scooter to the hotel, not even 10 minutes later, I called the owner to tell him his scooters were garbage and I was seeing if he could maybe exchange them out for the hour jet skis or a partial refund. No, he was willing to give us half off the scooter rental and still charge $80 for the jet skis!? The scooters rental was $95! I said, no deal. I mean, it was pointless. So, after about 3 hours or so I wanted to go for a night ride to get some fresh air, I went to start my scooter...it wouldnt start; I kept trying and I knew the battery was dead. I called the owner the next morning, since it was around 11 pm, and explained my frustration. He came out and immediately starting saying, I killed the battery. I was like, excuse me? He said I killed it by trying to start it with the kick stand down. I know I didnt do that but he kept insisting I did. I explained that I know how to start a scooter because I ride motorcycles, which has a lot of the same features. He himself could not get the bike started after countless attempts! After he manually cranked it, it started he again kept insisting I killed the battery, I told him to take the scooter and get out of my face because my blood was boiling. I knew he was finding an excuse to put it on me so he didnt have to issue a partial refund since I had the bike for only a few hours when I was suppose to have it for the whole 24 hours. My brother kept his scooters because the owner insisted he had to go and couldnt wait on my brother to come down. So, after more hours passed we took the scooter back before heading home and this is where I really want you to pay attention. My brothers scooter had a messed up basket when we got the bike so I assumed it wouldnt be an issue, man were we wrong. The first thing out of the owners mouth was, what happened to my basket? My brother and I explained it was messed up when we got the scooter and the owner went crazy saying no it wasnt. I brother and I were livid that he would try to pull such a scheme. REST OF REVIEW ON YELP OUTTA ROOM.

It sounds like this company is owned by one guy. For owning a company buy himself he doesnt care about the customer very much. I called the day before to make a reservation to have three bicycles dropped off at our hotel, as told to me days before by this man. When I called he said I had to call back between 830am and 9am to make the reservation on the same day. So I woke up early and made a reservation. He said he would be at the hotel in a few minutes. It took an hour for him to come with the bicycles (this is why I planned on reserving the bicycles the night before). He then explains to me on the phone that that he is going out this weekend and he wants to pick up the bicycles either 9pm that same night or 7am the next day. I asked if he would pick them up at 9pm because we planned on going out and enjoying the daytona border walk and did not plan on being up so early the next day while we are on vacation. I called him at 845pm to confirm that he was still coming to pick them up. He said he would be here in a couple of minutes to pick up the bicycles. ***an added note, this man uses his cell phone to conduct business, and when I called him at 845 there was a lot of loud noise in the background*** We have the bicycles lock up in the stairwell of our building because there is no where to lock them up outside. We waited for an hour and a half for him to come pick up the bicycles, during this time I called him 4 times and left three messages ( on his cell phone). I got woken up at 730am by my cellphone ringing with the man asking for his bikes. I asked him what happened to him last night because we were waiting for over an hour and he wouldnt answer his phone. Not only did he provide no explanation for his absence, (besides I couldnt make it) but he did not apologize and was unremorseful. His apathy for this customers was the worse part about this whole experience. If you plan on renting anything while you are in Daytona I suggest you find a different company.

The owner was an absolute jerk to my boyfriend and I. His bicycles are total junk and rusted out; as a result the chain fell off one of them not even 5 minutes into our ride! I called to inform him what happened and then asked him to come pick them up with a refund because they were unridable. He refused to come pick them up and said we had to walk them back over the bridge; however, he will be giving us the refund. When I, obviously, said we cant walk them back he started yelling at me and then HUNG UP on me! My boyfriend called him back and he HUNG UP ON HIM TOO. Worst customer service Ive ever experienced and I will GLADY go to another bike rental next time.

My dad and i wanted to make reservations to rent jet skis on a sunday the day of the Daytona 500. We called on the Tuesday before and they told us they didnt do reservations that early and to call the day before. We call Saturday and they tell us they cant do anything that day because of the 500. This would be acceptable if it werent for the fact that when we called we specifically said the day of the Daytona 500 and told them that other places had told us they were closed for the event. Isnt that enough to ring a bell that your cab company comes first on this day??!! Terrible business managent.
