Had a fun time! Guy was super informative, super friendly! . I scheduled for 4hrs but made the mistake of driving off the beach with cam incoming tide so couldn’t drive back onDrive in the right hand road going 20 whatever MPH, people go around. This was a solo work trip & had some free time but def coming back with the wifey to rent & go everywhere!

The staff guy was awesome and very easy to work with. Had a blast on the special cart they got! I don’t think we stopped smiling for the entire ride, my cheeks hurt now lol. Go get a cart and zoom around!

The guy (middle eastern) who works here or who was standing in the lot is not professional and he is very rude. Wife and I pull up to the lot to rent, he was busy with someone else and didnt even acknowledge us until I walked up with a inquiry about the rentals. His respond was didnt you read the sign? and he is getting all these good reviews. ? I cant believe how disgusting his attitude was. So I decided to take my business to other Rental company with better services.

I had an amazing time while on the golf cart that I rented. Im from Miami and not familiar with the area of Daytona / Daytona Shores. Adam was very professional, friendly, and very helpful. He guided me where to ride the golf cart and informed me of the local attractions for example the lighthouse. I definitely recommend Rental Universe theyre awesome!!!

If I could leave ZERO stars i would. Advertised used scooter sent my sons friend in and a Guy named peter sold him one. Well he didnt even get it home and it blew up, immediately called them and notified them of the problem and they literally said they were not going to do anything. I CANT MAKE THIS UP. They are Completely dishonest and Dan lane the incompetent mechanic JB welded a stripped spark plug into the head. WHO DOES THAT? They literally sold a scooter they knew was going to blow up in a matter of days. I am a local business owner and NEVER leave negative reviews without giving a business the opportunity to correct the problem. after several attempts to get this situation reconciled I gave up. These people and this business are best avoided. I would not rent a broom for this place. Be careful never under any circumstances purchase or rent anything from this place they prey on the public which is why they have a 3.5 start review rating.

Rented a golf cart to take down to Ponce Inlet. Very non-hassle to get out the door and into the cart. The carts only go 20mph so be aware of that for driving any distance on main roads. Prices are a bit high in my opinion but hey, I don’t know their operating costs. About a mile out from returning our cart broke down. I called the office and the manager immediately sent out a mechanic with another golf cart to swap out with us. Thankfully we weren’t charged extra for busting our time limit, and the manager was apologetic and understanding.

We rented a 6 seater golf cart one day and a scoot coupe another day and both times we had so much fun! Peter is very nice and accomodating. When our golf cart had a minor issue we were able to just swing through and exchange for another with no issues! Prices are fair and its well worth it! The golf cart is great for the beach, and the scoot coupe was perfect to drive down to Ponce Inlet and back!

So this company has decided, they don’t want to answer my calls and run my card for unauthorized amounts.. especially when we PAID CASH.I would not recommend anyone going there, the dude that was behind the counter offered me free hours to sleep with him. Now that I didn’t my cards getting charged? Guess we’ll have more problems then.

Unauthorized charges to card and they dont provide insurance. And to top it off the guy behind the counter offered to let my friend sleep with him which is very unprofessional. Im assuming that those charges are related to her rejecting him.Id highly recommend going anywhere else but here

I called to inquire about a golf cart rental for me and my husbands 10 year wedding anniversary. When I called there was silence on the other end. I said hello. The person said yea what and I said I am inquiring about your golf cart rental and he hung up on me. Very rude and unprofessional!

This place sells ABSOLUTE JUNK my friend purchased a $700 scooter. Immediately had to replace the starter motor on it to get it running again. mechanic dan lyng is a total hack he JB welded a spark plug into the motor and stripped out the threads. Had complete mismatched hardware throughout the entire vehicle it looked like a 3rd grader assembled it. these people are sharks with no remorse for their customers. After all of this happening in the first week of purchase if they would have made literally any attempt to reconcile the issue I would leave a positive review, but there complete lack of empathy toward their business makes them a joke and the customer the punchline. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE CROOKED CROOKS ********

Sold me a scooter a few days after I moved out here, it didnt even make it 100 miles before it completely broke down on the side of the road. I spoke to the worker there today who had 0 intentions of making it right and basically shrugged at me and said oh well. This place is an absolute scam.

The front desk clerk did not seem interested in helping infact, He was pretty rude. So we promptly left, went down the street, and rented a golf cart for less money and way friendlier staff. Oasis for the win. We are renting from Oasis again today.

We had a great time! One of our batteries died and they gave us another rental to use for the time we lost. They were very helpful and understanding, and because of their service they definitely deserve 5 stars. I had a great time!!

Staff was great golf cart looked good and no mechanical problems. Due to timing could not ride any vehicles on beach that was a bummer. If I had to say. The only negative thing would be the speed of golf cart. We went to the light house and took 45 minutes. It was a nice ride but long and slow. Many cars beeping at us to move over. Overall we had a good time would recommend just don’t expect to go fast. 23 mph was top speed using gps speed app that is very accurate. Good luck and hope you can ride on beach when you go.

Called asking for information about the golf carts and scooters and the guy answering the phone is a douche bag.

Over-priced and dishonest. We rented a golf cart from Rental Universe for 4 hours. For 3 1/2 of the 4 hours that we had rented the cart, the beach ramps were closed due to high tide. The salesperson knew our intent was to drive the golf cart on the beach, but did not mention that the ramps may close. We called them and explained the situation to one of the workers and they only extended our time by one hour. Also, they knew the ramps were closed (because we had already called to tell them) and they continued to rent carts to other people whose intent was to ride them on the beach without mentioning the ramp closures. Check the tide schedules and be careful - they won’t tell you if there will be an issue with taking the carts onto the beach.

Wont do this again. We rented scooters with a minimum of two hours. We rode for 1hours and 20 minutes. $15 per hour each person with $10 insurance each and $5 tax each! We had to return because a storm came. No any refund partial or otherwise did we get back.....even with this huge storm. MAKE SURE IT ISNT GOING TO RAIN BEFORE YOU RIDE!

Lady behind the counter was very helpful. We rented a golf cart for 2 hours and the cart they gave us was a BEAST (good thing). There was lots of soft sand on the beach, and this beast got through all of it like a hot knife through butter. Obviously, we had no problem with the golf cart we rented.There are taxes and insurance added to the price. It was $110 for 2 hours on the golf cart after taxes and insurance. A little pricey, but I dont feel ripped off as most other vendors charge similar rates.Yes, I looked at the weather before I rented. Yes, I would rent a golf cart from this company again.

First scooter was not running right. Was sluggish and wouldn’t go over 22mph. Drove toHotel. Then drive back to exchange. Scooter was exchanged and went out to enjoy. Then other scooter would not start. Had to wait an hour, for scooter, to be picked up on the beach. Scooter exchanged. We parked scooter because of the rain. Attempt to return them at agreed time to find 1 of them again would not start. Had to wait until the next morning to return. Meanwhile, the manager, changed my card an additional $160.00 and $200. In addition to the $155.00 and $130.00 I already paid, without informing me or authorize. Very shady practices.

Excellent customer service! Would highly recommend, if youre looking for a fun day driving along Daytona Beach.

The girl in the front was the best. Always there to help. The business itself was ran terribly. We had 4 breakdowns with 4 different scooters in 2 days. And 2 more with the front wheel wobbling off. Heres the best part, no refund. So they get this review instead, too bad. Got stranded in a desert like setting after motor blew out. No cover. Heat of the day, I found a small mount of sand to cover my head while I buried my burning arms in the sand. And I waited for my friends to come save me. Let me repeat. No refund. Not even partial. Against policy Cannot recommend to anyone.
