Had a great trip to Guitar Center. Went in to check out some new DJ equipment and they had a great selection! They had multiple turntables set up for demo. The staff was helpful and friendly. The store was well organized and clean. Id definitely recommend this Guitar Center.

Great Experience.As a musician who is trying to get his younglings started up into the family tradition this was a great experience for them. Instruments setup and ready to be played and experimented with on the sales floor, friendly teammates who are there if you need them but not pushy and a laid back atmosphere.The kiddos loved playing the electronic drum kits and same was said for me.It looks like they offer lessons here also. So we may bring the kiddos back to start the music journey.

Besides actually having inventory and needing a certain type of cable in a pinch. I wouldnt have bought anything from this location. Despite being the only people in the store the employees seemed more concerned with their own conversations than helping any of us. The only time an employee talked to me was at checkout.

Guitar Center Is always fun for my son. The staff at this location was particularly nice. They were truly helpful despite the fact that we werent buying.

Great staff and the selection is massive! You can try out pretty much any instrument there. All employees are helpful and their are instruments for all budget types. Very happy to see their staff wear masks and so their best to follow Covid guidelines. I had an old guitar worked on and cleaned and it looks immaculate. Highly recommended for everyone.

I had checked out several music stores in the area between new Smyrna Beach and Daytona looking for the right keyboard for me. I had first ordered a Donner beginner keyboard on Amazon and quickly realized that it was most definitely inferior. I went to the guitar center in Daytona Beach. From the moment I dealt with them I was very impressed with their professionalism and knowledge of the music industry. Aaron Gollubier helped me immensely to find the right product that fit me which was a Yamaha keyboard P125 B. I also had the opportunity to speak with PJ who is one of the instructors of all instruments. He holds a degree in music and was able to answer many of my questions. The guitar center in Daytona is really a superior music store. Check them out.

Very nice experience. Very affordable- much cheaper than I thought. Very new to guitar- always wanted to play. So much available there- a guy (forgot his name) with long black hair helped me- any guitar I was curious about, he grabbed and played it so I could hear its sound (dang it I wish I could remember his name... he was half american indian half english... we had a good talk, very nice dude).Theres a separate room full of classical/acoustic guitars/resonators- so much for beginners and for advanced people- you can test out amps and all- anything you wanted most likely they have it. I saw drums, guitars, electric guitars, basses, amps, harmonicas (cheap ones and one that was over 400 dollars what a selection), they had books, sheet music, synths, keyboards, midi pads, tambourines (whole ones, half ones, finger ones, and in between), they had theater equipment, microphones, stands, cases, a whole aisle of strings, some orchestra instruments, lights, cords. So basically its bestbuy for music (but cheap- you know best buy jacks the price... guitar center didnt- and theres good discounts all around). I would so so so go again (and will soon... forgot to get a strap for my new guitar (that I love!!!).There was staff all over- you wont come in and have to spend eternity finding assistance. Staff treated you like you were a member of their band- funny, sarcastic, and very competent. They also do lessons. Youre allowed to just grab a guitar and test it out- they wont yell at you- theres seats in the guitar lounge where you can sit down and play it for a bit. I wish I could give them 8 stars... but theres no such thing as 8 stars- but Im sure they sell guitars with 8 strings I bet! This place is a joyride just to look around, even if someone hates music theyll come out very intrigued.So I got a nice, brand new guitar, a case, a stand, a led tuner, and a warranty for $248- much less than what I was expecting to pay!Thank you Guitar Center, I will be back many times- my new happy place!

Bought a decent guitar, guess I didnt look closely enough, found a fairly big chip in the finish. It plays great and was affordable, i wish the people there were a bit more knowledgeable, the tech guy is pretty good though.

I need my fathers acoustic guitar he left me when he passed repaired 50+ year old guitar ... I have the repair persons card but do I want to go there again..?

I’ve wanted to learn guitar as a hobby and got one for Christmas. Due to the attitude and arrogance of the store manager, I will never spend a dollar with this company. I walked into a small, local shop and couldn’t have had a better experience. Turns out smaller shops check their egos and appreciate their customers; I’d spend more for that kind of service and experience, but I actually saved! I’m proud to share my story, especially if it takes you down a notch..

I got a new guitar, the sales people were knowledgable and helped me save some money.

My 8 year old son started taking guitar lessons there a few weeks ago he is loving it so far.

Wouldnt honor a warranty on a guitar that I bought last year and when I bought a new guitar he told me that the military discount was only for promotional offers. Good collection. Plenty of accessories. Not much sales help, but thats expected.

Went there today to clear up some order mishaps as well as pick up some things. Very helpful and understanding of the situation. Got a Mitchells D120 Dreadnought acoustic guitar, standard and thumb picks, a capo and an extra set of strings. I am picking up guitar to pull me out of depression and to give me a new skill I can hone for many years to come. Much appreciation to the employees who took care of it all!

Worked here for two months. Evan (the manager) is one the the most arrogant people Ive ever met. Dude spends more time on vacation and picking out his suit in the morning than he does helping customers, or training his employees. Ive never experienced such immature management in anywhere else I have worked. No wonder they cannot keep employees for long. He made a grown man cry in store one evening and I quit shortly thereafter. Not my sort of vibe for a store selling music gear. I will say though, the other employees work hard and are great people who do care.

Second time I come to store and ask about their price match policy. Both times they (store manager) have refused to price match a major retailer. I’m in the market for two decent speakers and found them online for $200 less each. Same model, I was not asking them to price match a used unit. Manager there was no help, as soon as I mentioned price match he passed me to another agent and assisted other customers and the agent was more confused then I was.I now have visited Sam Ash and without a question they price matched the two speakers and made me feel welcome. Too bad my local guitar center could not do the same.

Bare shelves, no choice if guitars or bass for the size of the store. I only go there if I have to and I make sure they have what I want in stock. Like most guitarcentres the employes arent that knowledgable and try to sell you everything.

Kurt is the only employee that gives good customer service, i have been in this location (Daytona Beach) ten times recently and one out of ten times i had a great experience thanks to Kurt. The other nine times i walked into this store was horrible. I tried to buy a Mac Studio set not in stock, tried to buy an interface for my keyboards the shelves were bare, nothing. Even ordering online it says instock you get to the store nope dont have it. Then you have to wait a week to get a refund and they lie and say its your bank that holds it. News flash my bank dont hold money thats Guitar Center holding it. Today i walked in to buy three different things a $1000 live controller, midi plugs and another Synth that was $1299 not one person helped me between 7:30 - 8:30pm tonight so i have decided i will go to Sam Ash in Orlando tomorrow and spend my money there. Guitar Center was on the list of companies fixing to close their doors sooner than later now i know why. Kurt thank you for your great service the rest of you i hope you enjoy unemployment.

The new manager Evan is a tool. Everyone who worked there before covid was the original staff, Very helpful and honest, Very good people. And the new manager fired everybody in the middle of the pandemic with no notice. Now this guitar center is just like any other corporate GC. Really pushy most staff didnt know what they were talking about. Someone sucked the soul right out of this music store. Go to Total Entertainment for a bigger selection of gear including left handed instruments and sales people who know what they talk about.

Guitar Center was AMAZING!! Loved testing jsntruments before I bought

This store was my go to since they opened. I had a rapport with some of the employees and was overall treated well. The last few times Ive been in I havent recognized any of the staff nor could find anyone with any real bass knowledge. When I inquired about the people I used to work with I was told they were no longer there. Not just 1 but many. I spoke to the store manager (Evan) to find out what had happened and when I brought up the names of the people I used to talk with, he got short with me and walked away. He refused to help me in any way after that. I was then passed off to a nice young lady named Steph who tried but did not have the knowledge of the two guys I used to deal with. This new management is extremely unhelpful and you would have thought I committed blasphemy by the way I ruffled his goose feathers just by asking about former employees that treated me quite well. I hope upper management takes a look at this. I will not be returning for a while and will recommend the same to my fellow musicians. Its a shame because this store was a good example of a GC location at one point. Shab a lab!

This store used to be great, it was run more like a mom and pop, as much as a corporation would let you anyway. Then covid hit and they kicked their corporate mentality into high gear. They used to give around 50-60% of what theyd sell used instruments for but decided to have events where they gave 30-40% in a desperate attempt to recoup losses. They fired the good managers that made the store worth visiting and chased off employees, who had been there since day one, with incompetent leadership. They tried to play games with regulars who up until recently were treated exceptionally well, like a part of the family. What can you expect from a corporate store though. Shop elsewhere, youll likely find it cheaper, and in stock because they have failed to keep hardly anything in stock.

Coming in on Christmas Eve, I anticipated that the store would be largely sold out, and that the employees would be mobbed by last-minute shoppers such as myself. However, Jared (and another associate whose name I cant remember... Sorry...) took care of me in a way that far exceeded my expectations.They made a number of great recommendations, and helped me find a fantastic beginner guitar that didnt sacrifice quality for budget. They also made sure to inquire about accessories and protection plans, so I didnt leave the store without being fully equipped. Jared even took the time to play a couple cords on each guitar so I could hear exactly how it would sound!I love my new Christmas present, and its all thanks to you. You encouraged an eager new learner, and didnt make me feel discouraged. Ive been playing since I got home. Though my fingers hurt, Im on the road to achieving my New Years resolution. Couldnt have done it without you!

They dont have a single left-handed instrument on their wall at all, this is discriminatory. Went in here several times and was told by an employee that they would order the instrument that I wanted without me having to preorder it and then it turns out they wanted me to pre-order it instead because they would have to ship it back if I didnt buy, that makes zero sense considering there are right handed instruments being sat on waiting to be sold. I took my business elsewhere because I could get a better deal online without the hassle. I was told one thing and then another by the same employee. The staff wouldnt leave me alone to browse the strings, its like theyre soliciting you. The prices were marked wrong by a member of staff or were extremely out of order, when I went to checkout they refused to honor the price they wrongly placed on the racks. I physically cant shop here for what I play because Im left handed. I have to go somewhere else in person.

The repair technician, Mr. Hub went above and beyond to ensure that my son was able to play on the next day! Thank you Hub for your experience and professionalism. You really made our visit very pleasurable.

This is such a great store! The staff is always super friendly and helpful, without being pushy. Chris is the BEST and treats people with respect. Hes also pretty darn funny. Although they have an assortment of all kinds of instruments, the guitar selection is amazing. Whether youre a music beginner or a seasoned pro, this is a really nice place to do business.

Staff is rude. I walked in and told the staff member I needed assistance with purchasing a guitar stand. He was finalizing a sale on the register and said help was on its way. Help never came and I found what I needed.I waited near the register while other customers were being helped and was never acknowledged. Another customer comes and was acknowledged by this rude staff member. That customer and I told the staff member that I was next and that is when he called for help which was too late because I was out the door and overheard the rude staff member say on the phone nevermind she is leaving. I was going to purchase the stand on Amazon but thought it would be nice to go to an actual store. Thank you Guitar Center of Daytona Beach for wasting my time and energy as I was in a leg cast and confirming that purchasing online is the way to go because in store customer service is horrible. I just bought a more expensive and nicer stand on Amazon. I do not recommend this store because of the rude customer service. Never again...and that is all She Who Left the Store Has to Say.

This store is top notch! I originally left a mediocre review for various reason, but my past several experiences went so well I wanted to update it with what has changed. The service is great! I walk in the door Im welcomed to the store, no one is jumping on you to force you into buying something. If I enter a different department of the store Im asked if I need help finding something and if I do I quickly get the help I need. The manager Rob is always excellent with taking time to help me out, and if he isnt available his staff steps up to the plate. Im thoroughly happy with my experiences and Id recommend this Guitar Center location to anyone looking for something in the music industry.

So I am giving this review from a slightly inexperienced point of view, as I dont play musical instruments, but my son does. He brought his guitar in for some new strings and dropped it off. A repair expert called a short while later and described other issues with the guitar. Normally you expect these to just be a sales pitch, but we approved the repairs. Not only did they do a fantastic job of repairing everything, the price was more than reasonable, and the tech took much time ensuring everything was to his liking. Great service!!

I needed an 88 key keyboard for a funeral service. I live in Philadelphia but could not bring my equipment with me. I was able to rent a Yamaha 88-key digital piano, a bench, keyboard stand, and 2 patch cables for $39.99. The keyboard was great sounding and came with a sturdy case. If you decline the optional insurance, the price stays at $39.99. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Guitar Center is amazing. Great selection of instruments, sound equipment, everything. The staff is incredibly helpful and very nice. I only wish I had enough cash to have a five hour shopping spree in there.

Good prices

No customer service which is an absolute must if prices are 10% higher than online competition. Less than 1/4 of store dedicated to guitars, with less sheer music selection than many book stores. Focus seemed to be on sound systems rather than instruments. I went with intent to buy a lot, but left with my phone in hand, ordering from Amazon Prime.

Had an issue with an online order from a different store and was helped at this store. they were so helpful and kind and even fixed up my order mishap with ease. walked out very pleased and happy ! shout out to thomas

This place sucks. I remember now why I hate guitar center. Cant even get in the place. A few people wandering around, and telling me I cant come in. In Daytona go to Total Entertainment. Better service.

The service at this store is good. Not super knowledgeable but its retail. The guitars on display to try can get pretty worn and not setup at all so that would be nice if they changed the strings at least ever other week but just a suggestion. Its enough if you know what you are looking for you make make an educated decision. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Overall Id recommend this Guitar Center to try out and purchase new gear.

Very well-lit and clean store. Staff was friendly. Did not have all of the guitars in the store that they had online as advertised in store. Personal attention to each customer was the norm as it is in a big box store. Had plenty of areas to sit down and play. I would go back.
