My Larrivee acoustic developed an annoying B-string side tone when played open. Erik evaluated the problem and determined that the saddle was the culprit. He cut a new bone saddle and threw in new wooden string pegs. Problem solved. He also installed a new Fishman preamp and did an excellent job there as well. It plays and sounds awesome. Hes very personable, does great work and his rates are very reasonable. I highly recommend his services.

I brought in a used electric guitar that I bought because it sounded a bit off to me. I dont know much about electrics as I am an acoustic guitar player. Erik diagnosed the problem immediately and gave it a first class set up while I waited and watched. This guy knows his stuff, and was super friendly and professional. My setup was done by Erik. He’s professional and what I would regard as a master guitar tech.I brought him 2 guitars Gibson Les Paul Studio and an Acoustic Takamine EF341SC. The Les Paul didn’t need any work after he examined it. And the Takamine needed some work done on it. He explained all the steps in the process along the way as he was doing it on the spot. And showed me some of his Sunland Guitars (His brand). I would recommend him to any guitarist. Professional level or beginner.

Brought in my Peavey and Gibson to be serviced. The Gibson had issues with the input jack. The Peavey had major fret buzz — it had never been setup professionally.Erik fixed the Gibson easily, restrung it, and adjusted the truss rod while I was there. For the Peavey, he kept it for a couple of days to work on it. It now plays just as good as (maybe even better than) my high-end guitars.All in all, I am super happy and impressed with the work Erik did and will definitely be using him in the future.

Put new pickups and redid all of the electronics for a great price, that along with the great setup has my Epiphone playing and sounding like a Gibson.

Clean comfortable environment and relaxing atmosphere. Eric is knowledgeable and assessed my guitar needs thoroughly. Although my problem was a common one he gave me individual care as well as free advice on issues I have with other guitars. My guitar is clean and sounds great. Thanks Erik.

Stunning work with unparalleled customer service. Not only did I get the perfect setup while waiting in the store, but the owner actually let me watch and taught me his entire process. This guy knows his stuff and it is apparent by the walls of beautiful and unique guitars that he built or customized himself. The experience felt like getting a setup from the late Les Paul himself. Dont waste your time with techs at large chains or trying to find the perfect youtube tutorial, go straight to Sunland.

I found Sunland Guitars on FB and the shop was close to my home so, I decided to give them a try. I had Erik wire two Seymour Duncan PUs into my fender Stratocaster after having some issues doing it myself. I found him to be professional, easy going and knowledgeable about his craft. He did a nice, neat job on my guitar and the fee was fair! Its nice to find and support a private business owner in my area who does this kind of work. A+ all the way!
