Bought three lights here in early January. The sales team was very friendly and courteous. But the good customer service stopped there. We had to check-in constantly. One of the lights came in around 6 weeks but three months later the other 2 lights have still not came in. After almost 4 months and no lights or no one calling us to let us know what is going on we canceled the order. It has now been almost three weeks and still have not received our refund. Really the whole time every person we would speak to had to check with someone else and call back. But the person always calling back was me. The lights were always on back order and have slipped through the cracks. Now its the same thing with my refund check. I had to call twice to make sure it was coming. The second time I was told the check was on the owners desk for her signature and would be mailed on monday. That was over two weeks ago now, so I called today and the owner answered the phone. Her comes my favorite part. She will call me back on Monday because she does not know how to operate her own computer system. Book keeping will need to find out what happened to my check. While I am sitting here typing this review the owner calls me back wanting to know the names of the people I had spoken with because according to her they are in trouble. Sorry but you are the one responsible. This is not my first purchase, we had purchase a fixture for our previous residence and it all went well. But after this experience we will not be back.

I have bought from Wholesale Lighting for many many years. I recently downsized my home and wanted to update the lights and fans in the new residence- so immediately went to Wholesale Lighting. I made an appointment with Michelle (who is AWESOME and patient) so my needs could be met. I brought pictures of the areas to be redone to help with the decision. Michelle guided me to the perfect lights and both met my taste and budget. When displays were almost what I wanted - she brought out many options in the books to help me find the right product. And their product is far superior to the big box stores. I also love I could schedule delivery and installation so no need to hire any other person to do the install. I love the friendly atmosphere, the selection, prices and the professional handling of my order. This is the best lighting store in the area. Highly recommend.

Rose Ann, Cathy, and Tyler were all key to creating and providing wonderful customer service and a beautiful lighting/fan package. They provided lights and fans throughout our entire house. They delivered on time and accurately and made everything a breeze. We last minute decided to add a chandelier to our order. Rose Ann really pulled through for us, included coordinating and corresponding with us on her day off, and getting the beautiful chandelier to our home in record timing for install. We will long time customers for all of our future lighting/fan needs.

Second project with Michelle. She is amazing to work with. Nice selection on hand but special orders are easy. There is a time and a place for big box stores, but when you need a lighting plan and experience, this is the place to go.

My husband and I were fish out of water in building our house. Our builder referred us to Wholesale Lighting for our indoor and outdoor lighting needs. Cathy, our sales rep, reviewed our architectural plans and guided us with great patience through choosing appropriate lighting for our house in spite of the fact that we werent building a big splashy house. She knew exactly what would and wouldnt work by looking at our plans. When we had an issue after outdoor lights were installed, they quickly came out to resolve the issue. When I first went in the store, I thought prices would be beyond our budget, but I was pleasantly surprised. You can spend as little or as much as you want without sacrificing quality thats often wanting in the big box stores. You also get very personalized service which is virtually non-existent at big warehouse type stores. Although there is a wide selection of unusual and beautiful lighting in the store, there are endless catalogs to peruse with the sales staff readily available to answer questions. It is such a relief to know that there is a company like Wholesale Lighting that will cater to needs that big box stores dont. We need to support companies like this.

My husband and I recently purchased some Murano hand-blown glass pendant lights while in Italy. When I received them, the electrical components were not compatible with USA electrical requirements. I went to Wholesale Lighting, where an employee by the name of Nicole cheerfully researched, located and ordered the necessary parts for us. She was courteous, knowledgeable and accommodating. They called me when the parts arrived and when I went to pick them up, the owner, Rose Ann, double-checked the order making sure I had exactly what I needed. I appreciate their attention to detail and the courteous customer service I received. If youre looking for professional, courteous, and knowledgeable service, this company has it all.

I have been working with this company as they are the lighting vendor for a new home I am building in Volusia County.They are great to work with. They are willing to work remotely via email since I know what I want and am not local to Daytona yet.Their prices are great. As much as I like to support local businesses, I will usually buy online if a store will not match the price. I can tell you that Wholesale Lighting beat the online prices without me even having to ask. This is very rare for a specialty lighting store. This was also surprising considering they are the only vendor I can use pre-closing for lighting (I wouldve thought they would jack the prices up). They seem very honest and friendly. Highly recommend!I am also a REALTOR and will be sending my clients here.

This is a family owned business still thriving in the day of internet shopping for light fixtures. How? Amazing personal customer service and a dedication to treating each customer special. If you dont see what you want in the amazing showroom the owner will go through catalogues and find styles you want.

REDICULOUSLY OVER PRICED. Im blessed and have the time to shop around and I like a deal. I Found the same lighting Styles in a different store in Orlando. One particular lamp i was looking for was much less than in this particular store. I think what might happen because there is limited competition around that area with respect to lighting, and people dont want to travel far to look for bargains. Simply because you have the funds to spend doesnt mean you should if you feel its not reasonable.

I went in to get a lamp repaired. I met the owner, Rose Ann, who helped me. Her repair guy wasn’t in, but she diagnosed my problem and sent me on my way happy as can be. It was actually a joy! I will go back because they are all about the customer!

Rose Ann and the staff at Wholesale have always gone out of their way to provide excellent customer service. We have used them on several projects and could not be happier with them. Their prices are competitive and you can count on them to stand behind their products. I highly recommend them. (It does seem that the couple negative reviews are people with some kind of personal vendetta rather than a legitimate complaint.)

Pride themselves on customer service? We walked in while they were open and spoke to a sales person who was explaining their discounts. A woman then approached us and said they were closing right away. It was noon on December 24th and there were no signs indicating they were closing early. I guess they have enough business that they don’t need another sale. Why open if you aren’t going to conduct business? At least close after your last customer leaves... don’t ask them to leave. Not a great way to run a business. Folks, there are plenty of lighting stores in town!!

Dont go for repairs. Estimate was one week. Three weeks later the light was supposedly repaired. Wrong part was attached and the staff was surly when the light was returned. Repair money was returned but no offer was made to do the repair correctly.
