You can rent a harley for a hundred bucks..or buy one for a great price..heavy is a hell of a guy...great place great people great bikes....awesome place.

Wonderful experience. All I needed was help getting my bike off my truck on a Tuesday to ride during bike week and then I needed help putting it back on my truck on Saturday and Midwest Motorcycle Shop was happy to help And no charge. Obviously I tipped them 20.00. Probably the nicest bike shop in Daytona. !!!!! Extremely pleasant people.

DO NOT RENT A MOTORCYCLE FROM THESE CON-ARTIST! We rented a bike for Daytona Bike Week. The bike was to be returned on Wednesday. When we called Wednesday we discovered they were closed! We kept calling and the gentleman that we rented the bike from answered the phone. He told us to return the bike out front where we picked it up and drop the keys next door at a fishing store. We asked to meet him there and he said no, its fine as he does this all the time. Really why would you have a return availability date for a date the store isnt open? So we ended up doing as he asked. On our way to the airport the next day we stopped in to make sure everything was okay. He assured us it was. The following day he called telling us the key was never returned and the bike had all this damage to it! He then went and charged our credit card for 1,200!!! Even though we had purchased his forced insurance and we never damaged the bike. We are filing a police report, but please save yourself the hassle!

Their repair shop is run buy a very confident, trained and experienced mechanic named Chris. He did a major repair on my bike and is mechanical expertise and knowledge is amazing. I have to say in 30 plus years of riding, this shop offers the best overall experience Ive had in any motorcycle shop.

If I could give the 0 I would on here. I purchased a bike from this place was after driving it home for 1 day it started mis-firing. Brought the bike back to them and they said it was fixed that it just needed new spark plugs after driving it home that day again it was not fixed still started doing the same problem mis -firing. Its is also hard for me to travel 20 miles to this place when the bike isnt running properly on top of having to either pay for uber or have someone follow me. I spent over $8k on a bike that has a problem with it not running right and every time I call to try and speak to the owner (HEAVY is his name) he is to busy to talk to me. The lady who answers the phone says she will have him call me and he never does.This has been one of the worst experiences of my life with a business. To this day 8 months later my bike is still sitting in the garage running bad and has never been fixed. They always blame that there to busy thats why they havent called back? How is that my fault maybe you need to be better organized, or hire more help!This just really sucks that as of right now I am out over 8k and it also sucks because I rarely ever write a review online because I hate how people bash business but for this example I can understand why this is here for this reason.I was told I would receive a free backrest included with the bike and after two months going by and 4 different phone calls asking where the backrest was the finally got it in for me.I made an appointment with them to bring the bike in to have the backrest installed and some neon lights installed as well and once again time out of my day off and finding a ride so someone can pick me up I get there and Im told they told have the time to do it because its bike week. If thats the case dont make me an appointment.I did have my tour pack stolen off of my bike which was not there fault not even sure why this was brought up either in there response. Never once blamed them for that.The problem is this business replys to me and she thinks that information was told to them but her and Heavy are never on the same page. I did let Heavy know when I was there on the wasted trip that I was told I had an appointment for, about how it was riding but he blew me off/ was busy with bike week. He probably doesnt remember because he is very busy.Being a small mom and pop shop and that you guys are busy doesnt give you a bypass on my opinion on how I have been treated. From the time I purchased the bike to now I have made at least 10 different phone calls asking to speak to Heavy and your always the one to answer the phone and Im always told I will get a phone call back and guess what it never happens.I think the biggest learning curve in this review MAM is why would I take the time out of my day to type up this huge review obviously YOUR customer is upset enough to type this you made some kind of emotional feeling that is not good with your customer. Instead you want to try and justify yourself in your response on here on how your not wrong, and how I didnt let you know things I did just so you know but unfortunately the communication at your establishment sucks.Look at your words in your response you put them in caps every so often to prove some kind of point. How unprofessional is this!!!!!!!This just shows how unprofessional your establishment is that you would go on here and respond like you did. Instead it would have been nice to see an apology and ask for me to contact you directly so you could fix the problem. At this point I will NOT be bringing the bike into you and will never sow up to your business again.Oh ya just so you remember because you obviously forget things I brought a referral in for you guys the same day I bought my bike and he bought a 8 thousand bike off of you and he also will never show back up to your establishment because of the horrible customer service that he received. Remember word of mouth referral is the biggest marketing tool a business can have and well you blew this with me.

Don’t waste your time. Had a senior citizen vet, family friend buy a bike from them. He realized when he looked at the title that they had sold him a 2016 when he ordered a 2018. He obviously did not think this type of mistake would happen. So he never looked at the title when it came it. Now I call and ask them what can they do to compensate in any way. As now he wants to sell the bike, and it looks like a almost 4 year old bike when he got it a year ago. And they say absolutely nothing. Not a credit in any way.It does not matter if it was a year ago that he got the bike or not. a huge mistake was made, 2 years off. And they can’t even apologize. Everyone makes mistakes, however when you don’t care to make them right, that is when your wrong.

Was asking for a very small amount of technical advice. They responded by telling me a magician cant reveal their secrets and told me to bring my motor in. I am rebuilding it and had a very basic question that they would have been able to answer. Im not bringing anything in, especially since they hung up on me as i was trying to say it was a very basic question.

My wife and I were in Daytona the last week of July and in need of a bike for 3 days.. the guys at Midwest set us up with a road King that had air and exhaust upgrades.. bike road and sounded great.. we had a great time riding down there.. these guys were great to do business with .. bikers like us.. they even suggested places to ride . Great family atmosphere, keeps everything real and upfront, BUT I called the morning of me coming to buy the bike that was on consignment and when I arrived in the afternoon he told me that the owner came the night before to pick up his bike, so it should have been something he should have told me before I drove 2 hrs the next day to find the bike was taken back. Instead he waited till the next day that I took work off for. Sometimes its just the little things in life that make a sales place a great one!

Great crew! Rented two bikes for two days and didnt have any issues. They even swapped out a bike that my partner was on that didnt quite fit right - no problems whatsoever. I will definitely use Midwest Motorcycle again the next time I rent a bike in the Daytona Beach area.

We had a really good experience renting a Road King. We were planning to travel from PA to Daytona for a double purpose trip: take some things for a son at college and partake in Biketoberfest events. I was on the fence as to whether I would trailer (riding not an option due to taking stuff) my bike or rent. I called and talked of details about renting. Heavy was honest, and correct when he told me it would be easier and cheaper to rent from him. We never rented before, I own 5 bikes. I wanted my wife to really enjoy being on a Harley (It would be nice if bike #6 were a Harley!). I think I called 4-5 times and sent several emails. Christine was always polite, honest, and informative. I feared I was being a pain, but that impression was never returned.When we arrived to pick up the bike, an unreasonable customer went on a tyraid toward Heavy. I was impressed with his composure, and after witnessing that unexplainable interaction, I felt confident Christine and Heavy are in the business for the right reason.They make things work all at a very reasonable cost. If I were in Daytona looking for a used bike, I would go there first.

I believe, if you look into your records, I have rented bikes from Midwest for the past ten years. The issue you site has nothing to do with rentals to people I have refered the business.What it has to do with is the level of respect Ed displayed towards me and his partner in Midwest Motorcycles. He has stated I disrespected him when I responded to his lack of concern for safety to what was being done. My response to him was ...you dont need to be a salesman ... Regarding this matter. I treated you and Ed with the utmost respect when I arrived. When I left I did the same.I am not the only person who has submitted a low rating of the organization. There are also many high rating for it that point out great customer service with the name of Dan as the one providing the service.

I have been there the last 2 years in June. Very accommodating. The bike ran well and was in great shape. Prices are more then fair. If anything is questionable would be the helmets. I recommend bring your own. They have some to choose from however if you want the right fit and look. Bring your own.

I had a great time on the bike I rented from Midwest. They had a large variety of different motorcycle brands and models. The folks there were very friendly and accommodating. I saw others there that were returning from prior years because of their service and selection. Great ride!

Rented a bike during Biketoberfest from Heavy Eddie....This was an enjoyable experience to say the least.... I was expecting to be told a bunch of garbage and promises to make the deal and then be left out to dry when I needed some services...It was just the opposite, they were committed to fantastic service from the moment I walked through the door until the moment I returned the bike.... I never felt alone in the Daytona area while I was renting from them.... I will always rent from them when I am in the area...

If you appreciate really great service and being made to feel valued, go with this guy. There are basically two choices to rent bikes in Daytona, and thats either with Dan at Midwest Motorcycle or with the mega Harley Dealer that isnt very conveniently located, and if you get there past 4pm, sorry, out of luck. Trust me, go with Dan.My flight got in late last year, I called Dan at Midwest worried Id miss him. He told me not to worry and came to pick me up at the airport! Not only that, he brought my bags to the hotel. When it was time to go home he actually brought me back to the airport. Im not saying hed do this for everyone, but I was just completely blown away by the amazing service. This man has made me a customer for life. Very happy with Midwest Motorcycle, and Ill be back!

Purchased a 3-wheel Diax Mojomax scooter. Took delivery on Sunday afternoon, the thing crapped out on Monday. Gas leak and electric start problems. New product and has to go to the shop already. Waiting to see how things go before we publish our final thoughts on all social medias.

Hey guys, you need to come on down! I googled these guys before i went down from CT. I rented for two days, and it was the best expierence, i wanted a fat boy, but setteled for a soft tail. The brake light was malfunctioning, i brought it back, and the owner came out and put me in a nice road king! He has got to be the most down to earth, laid back, cool biker dude i ever met! I recommend these guys a million times over! Ill be back and these are the only guys i will go to! I hope you guys continue to keep renting because i will be back! Thanks for the great expierence

If you have an emergency hell get you going, although you may have a bit of a wait! My partner had a stator problem on his tri glide and after the repair encountered a problem with with the parking brake not being reinstalled properly, it wouldnt release after it was applied but should be an easy fix. Maybe!
