Convenient, courteous, and trustworthy. But call in advance. They only take reservations for oil changes. And are closed on the weekend.

Have used a station for routine service, oil change, etc. They are always very prompt, professional and neat. I have also driven in with a tire light on in 2 or 3 occasions. They check the pressure and put in air at no charge. Today I commented that again the same tire seem to be going low. Within 5 minutes they had it on the lift and had removed a nail-- all for $10. The young man taking care of me was so pleasant. Where else can you get this kind of service?

Ive been taking my cars here for oil changes and repairs for years and finally felt compelled to write a review after they once again saved me money by fixing something minor at no charge- something that other garages would have undoubtedly charged me a couple hundred bucks to do. These guys are very trustworthy and they dont try to up-sell you products or repairs. Its really nice to know that my mechanic isnt recommending unnecessary work. Highly recommend the Decatur Pure Service Station.

Only can review based on my experience. And from my experience I wouldnt and will not be taking my car anywhere else but Pure Service Station. Did a job and two other important extras for a little more than another so called highly rated mechanic shop in town was charging for only ONE of the workings I needed done on my car. It sucks to go to a mechanic shop and know theyre bsing you. I didnt get that vibe here. Fast, fair and friendly was my experience. A real gem.

Mediocre service, mediocre attitudes...For 30 years weve lived in the vicinity, and my wife and I have stopped by this station on many occasions.Today they had a kid serving the gas, who may have been in his 20s.I inquired about premium gas. He said they are all out.I the requested my he top off all 4 tires at 36. While looking at my gauge on my dash, he put only 34. I told him I need 36. He then replied, One or two lbs wont matter.I said, to me it will. This is when I detected some attitude.He went around my car as if he were putting more air in. My gauge indicated all 4 tires were still at 34.After I left, I phoned the station. A guy claiming to be the manager, upon hearing my story, immediately went into Trump mode, attempting to defend and offer an explanation, will never once offering an apology.Although there was no charge for air, these days, we have so many choices where we can take our business... Why go to establishments and pay for disrespect?

Love these guys! They take great care of you and you feel good about it. Care places can be so difficult to deal with. Its not the case with Barrett and the crew.

Very good experience. I was a little concerned as this was the first time I used a small oil change shop. But the staffs are awesome and helpful. They checked everything and finished the oil change way quicker than I expected. Definitely going back again!

I highly recommend Pure! Honest, reasonable price, knowledgable, and low key! Barrett and Andy are the real deal! I brought an estimate from dealership for $2000 for engine work. Andy cleaned the engine and told me to come back in 2 weeks to check for leaks! He only found one....$500!! Need I say more?!

Great people, and very Honest. I was told we needed front axle seals replaced, among other things, and dropped it off for them to complete all the work. They called and told me the seals arent leaking and there is no reason to replace them, a $250 savings for me. An honest mechanic...somewhat of an oxymoron.

I could not be happier with the customer service and repairs I received from Decatur. There is a neighborhood feel to the place, and they are friendly and explain to me in clear language about needed car repairs, and then help me to schedule the work on a priority basis. They have been doing all of my repairs for 3 years, and with a 1994 car, there have been a lot! They are a gem in Decatur!

These guys are the best. Seriously. I brought my 2003 Infiniti FX into them with the thought that whatever they said would need to be my decision point as to buying a new car :( or moving forward with my much loved old one. They didnt miss a beat. They were so respectful of my old car, and made it run as if it were young again. When several days later I called to say that my steering wheel was vibrating a bit when I went 60 on the expressway, they were quick to schedule me to come back in. Fixed it within 30 minutes. I feel as if Ive hit the jackpot just knowing where my car will be taken care of! I dont generally write reviews, but Pure is incredible.

I got great service, especially after going to NTB on DEKALB Ind Way to get a tire plugged until after pay day when I could afford a new tire.Ive been a customer at NTB on Dekalb Ind Way in Decatur location for over 20 years. Therefore, Ive been a customer through personnel changes, policy changes and name changes. I had a flat tire on the way home (driving less than a hundred yards on a deflating tire until i could safely pull over) Monday morning, donut was put on and I was anticipating getting it plugged or patched until after pay day when I had the money to buy one. Ive noticed in the last few years, tire stores and dealers have seemingly come up with excuses reflecting safety issues and refusing to fix tires, fabricating more and more reasons to not plug/patch a tire a customer brings in.As soon as I let the customer service advisor at NTB know I needed a temporary fix on my tire, his demeanor changed and he advised they no longer do plugs, and if the side wall of the tire seemed to THEM to be compromised, they would not fix it for safety reasons. The CSA pointed out that my tire had the characteristic ring around the wall of the tire indicating I had driven on tire that was flat or deflated. Well, glory be, if you drive on the tire even for the shortest amount of time, a tire is going to have that ring. I dont know how many tires Ive had plugged over the last 30 years with that ring, and no one refused to plug/or patch my tire. I drove the car around to the rear so the technician could asses it, and sure enough, he said the side wall was worn and couldnt be patched. I call BS on that. This is a ruse these tire stores have fabricated and implemented as safety policies where they can refuse to fix a tire when a customer hasnt the funds immediately to BUY a tire so their employees wont be utilized spending time on fixing a tire for $20, rather than charge a customer $125 for buying a tire.I checked around a found full service gas stations in the area that could do what NTB refused to do. I found a great full service gas station at Pure in Decatur on E.Ponce De Leon, right around the corner from NTB and they said it was no problem to fix and didnt give this bologna that the side wall was compromised and my car would be a safety hazard to drive if they plugged it. None of that crap. Not only am I NEVER going to NTB again, but Im buying my tire that I need at Pure, and Im giving all of my non warranty service to them as well. F NTB and their safety issues using as a ruse to get you to buy a tire.The staff is great here at Pure, friendly, and they dont try to BS the customer with phony policy dictates that force the customer to purchase some other service instead of what you asked for. I even got an oil change as well where they filled my windshield wiper fluid up without even telling them, cleared my faulty coolant sensor alert and it was ready in less than 30 mins after showing up late in the day.Great job guys.
