I have nothing but great things to say about Minor Tire and Wheel. Theyve mounted and balanced two sets of tires for me in the year that Ive lived in Decatur, as well as performed a four wheel alignment on a 4x4 Grand Cherokee. All work was top level professional, timely and more than reasonably priced.But what absolutely impresses me is the integrity of the folks who work there. Thinking I needed new brakes on the Jeep after 84K miles and pulling a wheel myself, I dropped the vehicle off early in the morning. Within half an hour, Josh and then Jason called to explain that I didnt need pads or anything else. That type of honesty is very rare these days, and very appreciated.

Was in need of rims - due to OEM not available... Less than 12k out the door.Now to put new shoes on it.

Just took a set of 28inch rims here to get broken down. The guys at the front desk estimated the job to take 45min to an hr....he gotta get to know his workers better bc they knocked it out in a bout 15min, if that!! Cool group of guys. They even gave me some boxes to protect my wheels from sliding on the trailer. Would highly recommend

My family and I ran into a serious issue with a rim on our Yukon while on our way to Florida and Jason was very helpful and got us taken care of and back on the highway as quick as he could. The staff was super friendly and helpful as well and very knowledgeable of our problem and how to fix it. Would definitely go here again without thinking twice!!!

I had a problem with the tires on my car being dry rotted which I didnt realize. I called Minor and spoke with Mike he said come on up so we can assess. There was definitely an issue 4 new tires in and out in 45 minutes, if you need new tires and want it done by good, knowledge hard working people come see Mike and the boys I know I will always come back to Minor

I was in need of a tire change..I had the tire but did not have the key to remove lug nuts. Minor had the key and changed the tire for me. Less than 40 bucks, and I now have a key!! Other shops in Decatur were charging $100 just to change the tire!!

Had a tire shred near the I65 Decatur exit and picked this as the closest one. Was able to get the tire changed and be back on the road within an hour. Would recommend and wish I lived closer to them.

They have one of the nicest waiting areas I have ever seen and the work Ive had done there was always cost-effective and they informed me how much it was going to be exactly before the services were rendered they have excellent people there if you ever need a place to treat you well and make you feel like a neighbor these are honest folks, go there.

Bought a set of tires. Was there for approx.3 hrs. They didnt have the tires I had arranged for but they did upgrade my purchase for free. So all in all it was ok

After being stranded on the interstate with a tire blow out, quarter panel damage, and fuel line, the wrecker service recommended Minor Tire. The gentleman here were very helpful and kind. They went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of and had a place to stay until our rental car arrived. The free Wi-Fi was a plus too.

Went in to have my tires rotated on my 2017 f350 drw, on this truck the tires have to be broke down and moved to different wheels to rotate. Well they had a slight mishap with one of my wheels and the machine gouged it.... they where up front about it and after talking over options we actually went with a nicer set of aftermarket wheels and I couldnt be happier with the outcome and how it was handled!!!

Needed a quality set of tires for my car trailer. Spoke with Jason and purchased 5 tires for trailer at his recommendation. 55 minutes later Im out the door with 5 new tires mounted and balanced. Fast service with knowledgeable staff. This is why I keep coming back. Good job guys.

Minor tire will patch a tire for no cost to you. They do this in hopes of getting your business in the future. Everywhere else around charges from twenty to forty dollars to patch a tire. And if you do give Minor Tire your business you wont regret it. Their customer service is outstanding and is only out done by the quality of their work.

Great experience. The technician was very knowledgeable, respectful, and professional and went above and beyond in making sure everything was perfect. My truck was missing a center cap and had a broken wheel stud from the previous tire shop but the technician here replaced both without even mentioning it. The price was on par with many of the chain tire shops but the attention to detail and service were unmatched.

Hank did a really good alignment on my suspension lifted Toyota Tundra. I told him what numbers I wanted, and he got them. The shop was easy to work with and were accommodating to my concerns and requests. I did have to wait several hours, but I got there at about 10:30am on a busy Friday. This place is popular for a reason. So prepare to wait a little while if theyre busy. But as far as alignments go, its worth the wait to get a good alignment and make your tires last much longer. The price for 2 wheel alignment is also very affordable at under $70 out the door. As long as Hank is doing alignments, Ill bring my truck back here.

Nobody really wants to pay for new tires or get one repaired, but it is needed from time to time. So had a tire with a nail in it! I always use Minor tire. I completely forgot they will fix a flat tire for free but they did and as always with a friendly smile. As far as Im concerned, they are the place to go...hands down. They are almost always crowded for a good reason. Its worth the wait, or leave it and come back later. Thumbs Up!

I was recently returning from KY and had a flat tire in Decatur, AL on my way home to Birmingham late one evening. I have Run Flat tires and no spare, so I could travel only 50 miles on this tire, which would not get me home. With no tire repair shops open, I spent the night and went to Minor Tire the next morning to see if the tire could be repaired, or replaced. They did not have one in stock and it would take a day to get a replacement in, so they went out of their way to repair the tire (took two patches) in order to get me home. And they didnt charge me a dime. I asked why not and they said they dont charge for fixing flats - its just part of their business - because they hope to be the place people choose when they need new tires. I just had a lower control arm replaced and the car is fixed. I made a huge mistake on letting another shop take care of it. These guys are honest and competitively priced. Most of the time, they will beat anyone’s price on repairs. You can’t go wrong. I want to thank Josh for taking care of me. I’m officially a loyal customer. You may wait for a while but it’s worth it.I started pricing tires and Minor quoted me 824.00 for a set of Coopers. I checked with OK tire up the road. They quoted me 635.00 for the same Coopers. A co-worker of mine mentioned he knew the issues at OK tire. Saying one thing and you get caught paying for another. I looked at Tire Rack and with shipping the total came to 580 and change. Still have to pay to get them put on. Usually runs 40 to 60 pending on the shop. Made me think how OK is making money. I talked to Jason and he took off a hundred to gain my business. It included balance, mount and nitrogen. I have used Minor before and had no complaints and I know I am getting what I paying for.

Havent bought tires lately but used to shop there an they would fix me up on 4 new tires with a deal, many times I would change out my donut tire for real tire usually one that was just taken off, never had a problem with minor tire always done me right I can honestly say.

I have taken my car here to get oil changes and general maintenance regularly for the past couple of years at least. However, I had noticed a disturbing trend that the last few oil changes Ive waited in the waiting room longer and longer than Ive had to wait. Last time I went I told them that was the last time I would be back, as it took 3 hours to wait for the oil change. I realize they are busy but to me this is a ridiculous amount of time for a simple oil change, one that I couldve easily done within that time - which is what I wanted to save by taking it into a shop! I recommend them for tire and brake service, but on simple and quick maintenance, they are not quick, simple as that.

They are Centrally located on Highway 31 South in Decatur, the staff is very friendly and helpful. You can call them ahead and make an appointment, but they also do walk ins. 4-18-2020, we came here to have L/F hub and bearing R/R plus sway bar. Im hoping that they will have it done by 2pm because that is when they close for the day. I will update my experience later.

Had to get new tires on my truck, knew what I wanted and they helped me get exactly what I needed without trying to sell me up with things I didnt need. When my vehicles need an oil change, theyre the only place I consider. They are super friendly and very helpful. I tell everyone I know to go to Minor for anything, and when my kids are old enough to drive, Ill be sending them there with their cars too!

I discovered Minor Tire 5 years ago and have been buying my tires here ever since. These guys are real pros. They rotate, balance, fix flat and most importantly check and realign your frontend free of charge when you buy their tires. I wont go anywhere else.Additionally, the owner bought a factory and produces Vision wheels which are also sold there. They built a huge warehouse next door for the wheels and have other warehouses around the USA.

Fixes my flat tire inside of a half hour and the tire was in oretty bad shape. I askes him to give a straight up quote on reokacement and he did that in about 5 mins...maybe under. My wife also had a flat fixed free of charge there about 6 mos. ago.

Did some shopping around for the Michelin tires I wanted and found that most places around didnt have what I wanted in stock and would have to order it. Such was the case with Minor. I went in and talked with Dave Denson who quickly got the prices I needed and presented me with the options I had available, mounting/balancing/nitrogen/alignment/etc. Dave ordered in the tires which came in the next day as he expected and by mid-afternoon I had the new tires all set to go without a problem or hitch in the process anywhere. Thats EXACTLY how I would want a tire purchase to happen.

This place is amazing !!!!! The staff is kind caring and friendly. I took my car there for a test drive. They not only test drove my car they found the problem. They even took the extra time to fix a problem that could have killed my children and I. They saw I was driving in an unsafe condition so they took extra time out that they didnt have to and fixed it to where I was in a safe vehicle at no expense. I thank god for them.
