River city auto has some nice cars, it’s the manager Greg Mattox and whom ever their “personal loaner” is that wants to get over on you. I witnessed customers who just purchased their car come in with leaking floor boards to faulty transmission & point the blame to the customer. If you’re going to buy a car from them first you need to look up the term usury, because that is their interest rates.. illegal rates & over priced cars ..

I wouldnt recommend them at all. We purchased a car from them in September, and I just picked it up today. Its been in the shop since 3 days after purchasing it. We were forced to allow an unprofessional, rude, shade-tree mechanic perform the repairs or pay for the repairs on our own, although we purchased the car with a dealer warranty and the additional extended warranty. Those repairs consisted of a new engine and various other parts. Dont believe them when they sell you that extended warranty, because the extended warranty didnt pay for the repairs on a preexisting issue. After several weeks of hassle, we were finally offered a loaner to drive while those repairs were being made. The loaner had to be jumped-off after driving it the first day. The second loaner, the one we just returned to them, had issues as well. The transmission felt like it was about to go out. When I picked my car up, all the gas had been run out and the interior was filthy; not like just being picky, dirty, but filthy. There was grease or some black residue from the parts that had been removed being stored in the back seat. There were greasy smudges on many surfaces in the interior and debris from the back lot where the car was parked while repairs were not being done. The repairs were done by Paul Lamon and his crew at Quality Auto, in Trinity, next to Branum Wrecker Service. I dont recommend River City or Quality Auto. There are many more details to this story that, for sake of space and time, have been left out but all the statements made here are documented by records kept during the process. Save your time and go somewhere else. I gave River City one star because the option to give zero stars is unavailable.

Great customer service for the sale transaction. Unfortunately I got a lemon car, but they worked with me on 1/2 the expenses to replace motor after 1 month. Have had one repair after another with my car, but that is the chance you take with a used car I guess.

Looks very much like a shoe string operation. I drove two cars and one ran so poorly I was afraid it wouldnt make it back to the dealership. The other ran ok but had some suspicious vibrations.Prices were not particularly better than other places.

I bought a used BMW from this dealership and even a warranty. The warranty has yet to cover a single repair-- complete waste of money. The warranty and the car have been super disappointing. I was just hoping the car would last a year or two, but it didnt even make it that long.
