When I brought my car in to get auto body repair, it was a brand new car in terrible condition. Jack, the owner, made sure I got that car back looking brand new again. He dealt with the insurance for me, so there were so hassles. He made sure he kept me up to date. And he got it done quickly. It’s no wonder that this business has survived by word of mouth for so long. Thoroughly I impressed—you will be too!

If you ever need auto body work, this is THE place to go! I can not say enough about the excellent work, the attention to detail and how courteous Jack is. He did such a great job on my Lexus that I left my other car, that had a small dent, the same day that I was picking up my other car. I highly recommend American Auto $ Truck body Rpr!!!!!!!

When my brand new gmc was crashed into I was worried that the truck would never be the same. Well the guys at American Truck and Auto put all my worries to rest! The truck looks like I pulled right out of the dealership! The paint is spot on and the detail job was incredible. The owner Jack is the best!! Easy to deal with and reassuring! About 20 years ago, my truck 1994 K-1500 got T-boned in Clery Square, when I lived in Hyde Park. I had only owned the truck about 2 years. I bought in used, but it was new to me and the pride of my life! In a fraction of a second it was destroyed!!!I didnt know where to turn so my insurance company recommended American Auto & Truck. Id heard of them like everyone has in the community but wasnt real familiar with theyre work or ability. I checked with The BBB and they had an A+ rating. They are also on the AAA list of certified and approved shops. So I went there.I met the owner named Jack. What a great guy!! I didnt know what to do or where to turn. He took care of EVERYTHING. He got my truck towed for free. He also got me a free rental car while my truck was in the shop so I could still get to work.I started getting intimidated by the insurance adjuster/appraiser. I know nothing about the business. He started saying to me how its possible that I might have to pay some of it out-of-pocket etc. and that other (legit) stuff may not be covered. The guy at American Auto found out they where trying to pull a fast one. He said: let me handle it. Ill take care of it/him. Sure as heck. Whatever he did; he did and got it done.One of the guys there told me it could be 4 weeks to get my beloved Chevy back. 2 1/2 weeks later.... my beeper went off with a Dedham phone number on it. I called back thinking it was likely American Auto calling. And calling to tell me bad news. They said come and get it. Its done! 1 1/2 weeks before it was supposed to be done. And it looked BETTER THAN WHEN I BOUGHT IT for real!I now live up in Danvers. We have multiple vehicles in my family. Unfortunately it seems that one of gets in a crash every 2 or 3 years. Without a doubt I know whos gonna fix it! (the guys at American) I always use my AAA and have it towed to Dedham for free. I dont actually even go to the shop on River St. until its ready to pick up to be honest. They still take care of EVERYTHING! Try them. You wont be disapointed!!!!!
