I have bought 3 beds from Mattress Warehouse of Dekalb every time I do business here the owner is amazing great deals and he very knowledgeable of his product. Nothing is better then supporting your mom and pop businesses. Every time I go here there are customers making purchases. With the amazing service this is why this place does well. Just bought a bed today Im so glad theyre open again and today; much better prices than Ive seen on even online made in USA. My previous bed was bought here also and after 7 years my FAT A** fell on it and broke it even so, I slept well on it last night. Found out that this place delivers locally as an added plus.

I asked for the cheapest mattress and tried it out, and even that one is beautiful and comfortable, and I am excited about getting it. Excellent mattresses for the lowest prices. Mike is THE MAN!! We dont shop for mattresses anywhere else. Weve bought 3 sets so far, and we fully plan on going back if and when any of them need replaced.Hes so knowledgeable, you tell him what you want and he has something for you, and way cheaper than any of those chain stores up by Walmart.Im pretty particular about my mattress, I want an old fashioned box spring, firm, with just a bit of padding on top. He pulled out exactly what I asked for, had me lie down, I was in heaven! - And the price tag was under 200 dollars!My roommate likes his a bit squishier, with that memory foam stuff, Mike helped him try out nearly a dozen mattresses that fit the bill until they found the one he wanted.When my boyfriend moved in, he helped us try a number of mattresses together, slowly zeroing in on what we wanted.Let me tell you, this man is knowledgeable as all get out. Hes awesome to talk to, he knows everything about every brand, and he is passionate enough to make sure he finds the perfect mattress for you.Delivery is cheap and quick to boot! Dont go anywhere else. Seriously! This man is the top dog. Can I give 6 stars somehow?

Disappointed....The owner seemed pretty helpful when I needed to purchase a part for a bed. However, I needed to make a return and that’s when things became uncomfortable. The owner told me he wasn’t going to give me a full refund. He was keeping the percentage that he is charged by the credit card company. When I asked for a full refund I was told that I don’t understand people trying to make a living. I countered with an explanation that I am also trying to make a living and I would like a full refund. So, I had the privilege of listening to him mumble about my apparent lack of understanding why he should keep some of my money. We always support small businesses. I’ll be looking for another locally owned mattress store because we will never go back.

One of DeKalbs hidden gems. A little hidden but worth it to find. The owner, Mike, is extremely nice and the prices are great. Definitely check it out when you are in need of new Bedroom supplies.

Mike truly loves what he does and is a pleasure to work with. His location is not the spit and polish of the corporate stores in the the sterile retail storefront, but his customer service and product knowledge is amazing. He walk us through where each of the mattresses were made, focusing on local manufacturers, and gave us more product insite than i thought was possible! I never expecting buying a mattress for my RV to be a joy, but with Mike, it truly was! And I got a handwritten thank-you card from him a couple weeks later! Wow!

Was at Mattress Warehouse this weekend to buy a bed frame. This is one of the well hidden treasures of Dekalb. Across from the Moose Club on E. Lincoln HWY. A great selection of bedding and frames with the best prices around. He will always work to beat anybody else. The owner Mike is a very low key and friendly guy. We went to buy a big kid bed and had a great experience. It was a low pressure sales setting. Mike went over prices with us several times while we decided what we wanted. He encouraged our child to try out all the beds and didnt get frustrated or upset when they embraced the idea. He was able to give us same day delivery around our schedule. He also gave us a courtesy call later to make sure our delivery went well and to see if we had and further questions or concerns. I honestly dont know that I have ever received the level of friendly, genuine, patient service as I did today. Mike is the epitome of why we shop from small local businesses.

Friendly and helpful i bought the mattress box spring and frame (the frame was added free!) at two pm andbit was delivered at six-thirty that evening. Ill definitely come back when its time to upgrade my son to a twin size bed.

I, like most, want to try a bed out before I buy so I wanted to buy local.I visited the shop and Mike was very informative and cheerful during my visit. He was upfront about cost and didnt try to push products on me I didnt want or need. I picked out the most economical memory foam mattress with a boxspring. He helped my brother and I load the mattress and boxspring.The mattress is great! Great brand and quality. Love laying on it.Overall I had a great experience. Mike is a great person. I recently purchased a mattress set from Mattress Warehouse of DeKalb and am very pleased with the experience. The owner, Mike, is very knowledgeable, patient, and helpful. I spent a couple of months on the Internet researching mattress, so I believe what he told me was the truth and that I learned a lot. I was looking for a good quality mattress for a cheap price (as mattresses go). From the outside Mattress Warehouse doesnt look like the typical mattress store, which is probably why I was able to get such a good price. And to top it off, Mattress Warehouse has a fabulous deliveryman, Dell. He was patient, listened to and answered all of my questions and concerns, and took away the packaging. I highly recommend this shop especially because they sell mattresses that are manufactured in Illinois.

Had a great experience originally with Mike. But when I called with questions about breaking down my futon I was treated like a second class citizen. Not sure if he was having a bad day or what not but when I asked how to do it or if I could have assistance (and purchase a new bed) I was asked to leave because he felt I was a part of a generation that wanted things from working people). Not that I wouldnt have paid. I cant understand but it seems as if your not willing to listen to people that you shouldnt be in business.

Called to inquire about box springs and the guy hung up multiple times on me I tried to explain I had bought a mattress when they first opened and his response was well send me a bill if I owe you money will never refer anyone to them again

The owner is a very nice guy who trys hard to give you the best deal he can and is an honest good-hearted guy. All the matresses are made in Springfield, IL so are American Made and are very good matresses. He has a great selection of matresses from good ole cheap spring matresses all the way up to a TemperPeetic equivalent matress. The box springs are also very well made so if you are a bigger person like me and need a nice sterdy Box-spring buy them from here! I 100 percent endorse this business and ask you to please spend your hard earned money helping a family owned business. 😀
