Go to this place pretty often, and Im always greeted really well, and shown a lot of respect. Maybe thats because I used to live right across the street and went there all the time when I was over there. The owner is a little bit stand-off-ish, but his son is actually a pretty cool dude, from at least the little bit Ive talked to him. He always recognizes me when I come in. Theyre maybe a bit expensive, but theyre not corporate owned...so if you want 7-eleven prices, just go to the effing 7-eleven up the road.
Everything is way overpriced and the owner is extremely rude. Yesterday, a young female had a dead battery in his parking lot and instead of offering to help her the owner screamed at her non-stop instead. Also, the 1 positive rating here is from the owners son. Shady. Stay away from this place.
The clerk at the counter was incredibly disrespectful. Save your time and shop somewhere else.
Only go there for cigarettes. Everything else is WAY overpriced. Even the coffee they serve is 100x more expensive than a usual gas station.I was desperate one winter and walked there to get some bread and tuna and ended up shelling out nearly 20 bucks for a loaf of bread a 4 cans of tuna fish. Most of everything there doesnt even have a price tag.
Stopped at this gas station to grab a few things and let the little one use the bathroom. Both bathrooms were out of order, so I asked the cashier, a man named Ikhtiar Alam, if they were really out of order. He asserted they were. I told him we intended to be customers, but he still said they were out of order. I asked him where he used the bathroom. He said outside. I asked him if his employers were aware of this. This is when he told me that he was the owners son.I was very surprised to hear this. They are required to maintain a restroom for their employees, regardless of whether or not they are family.I will be contacting the appropriate agencies about their flagrant OSHA violations. All that aside, gas is 20 cents more than local gas stations. Beer barn offers better prices, variety, and general service than this establishment. Cigarettes are cheaper anywhere else. Add the employee, a son of the owner, telling me he urinates and defecates on the side of the building, and even suggesting my child do the same... well... thats where I draw the line.In the end, I decided not to do business with this establishment. Today, they might have only lost the profit for a couple monster energy drinks, a pepsi, and a pack of newports, but in the long run, they lost a customer for life.Thankfully, Im very aware of how quickly the city will respond to my report. You cannot run a business and have an employee relieving himself on the side of the building, let alone, suggest that customers do the same. Its 2016, occupational health and safety is nothing new.
Employees here are always rude and their ice cream is melted because their freezers are inadequate.
Ok.
