I paid $500 for a monthly service yet I was having a problem with the internet(I purchased two new iphones and add my line to 6). My internet calls were breaking up and my work is not smooth it was used to. So, I came to this location to get a help. Nonetheless, the manager of this branch said, if you do not like our service, you can get out of here. The manager name was Muntaha, I asked his full name he said, it is sufficient to know my first name. I did not expect verizons service to be this bad...

Freddy is absolutely the best representative I’ve dealt with. He is extremely pleasant and patient with a senior (being me !) that shouldn’t be playing with an IPhone when I can barely do emails!😆😆 I tend to go into settings when I shouldn’t play with things I have turned more things off and on than I should and don’t know how to correct them. Five minutes with Freddy and he corrects things I don’t even remember doing and the whole time he’s extremely patient and pleasant even making me laugh at some of the dumb things I’ve done. He came out to the car because I was having trouble linking to it’s systems. Who does that these days!! He even came in on his day off to take care of me. He needs to be cloned for sure 😊😊. I don’t go anywhere these days because of COVID-19 because I’m high risk but I don’t hesitate to go to this Verizon store. They take every precaution and above and my phone would be a paperweight if not for Freddy

Alonzo was extremely patient with my family and I when purchasing three phones. He was very organized and could multi task to get the job done quickly. His customer service is exceptional and he is very knowledgeable about the products and plans. If the store was out of stock on something, he will go out of his way to get the product personally. He is fun and kind to work with. If you are looking to purchase at this store I highly recommend Alonzo at the Des Plaines Oakton location every thing you need. Hands down the best!

We came into Verizon for an upgrade and to activate my teacher discount. Logan Sanderson helped us out and he was phenomenal!!! He made our experience very delightful, to the point where we forgot we were even buying a phone. Logan was very friendly, as well as knowledgeable in his work. He helped us out with an upgrade, and apply teachers discount to our bill. His work ethic, communication skills, and approach were above phenomenal. Ive never such a good Verizon store before!

The sales person Travis, that helped me buy a new flip phone for my 96 yr old mom was fantastic!! Note: I was doing all of this over the phone 250 miles away! The store is very close to her independent living facility and he took it to the front desk (no one allowed in right now) AFTER his shift. Staff at facility gave Travis old phone to transfer data then he handed both new and old back. After mom “couldn’t receive” any calls I talked to Tom the next day and to make a long story shorter he too was GREAT about working with us to fix the issue at closing time!! (Volume was so low she couldn’t hear it). Love the service we got from both Travis and Tom at this Verizon store!!!

I visited the Verizon store in DesPlaines on 11/8 and had a terrible experience with an associate by the name of Ozzie. I had an issue with my 4 month old phone where my camera was crashing. I let Ozzie know that and he told us to call Samsung. My girlfriend ask if there is anything he could trouble shoot on the phone and he said to call Samsung since we have a 1 yr warranty. After she pressed Ozzie to do something he made a call to Verizon customer service .The representative on the phone was extremely helpful but also pointed out to Ozzie that he did not troubleshoot the issue correctly. The entire time I was there Ozzie seemed uninterested in helping me with my issue and I felt since I was not purchasing something I was not an important customer. My girlfriend buys her phone at the Apple store and the service she receives is amazing.I expect to receive the same service where I purchase my $1300 phone. I would advise anyone to not make a purchase at this store if you expect help in the future. And if you do shop here I would advise not have Ozzie assist you. He is there just to take your money and treat you badly.

Dont stop here!!! I went to this store couple months ago and the guy named Ozzie helped me with my purchase. After my current contract has expired he said that l was eligible for an device upgrade. Instead of getting a new tablet he added me a new line without my knowledge which cost me around 20 dollars more every month. Of course when l called for money refund he was stating that Im wrong.With Verizon the customer is always wrong! 😉Do not go there!

So my fiancé had an issue with her iPhone, screen became unresponsive. Called Apple and they were useless, called a cell phone repair store, useless as well. Called Verizon and Freddy picked up and totally saved the day. My fiancé had an iPhone 11 and the trick that Freddy taught me was press the up volume once, down volume once, then press and hold the power button until the screen goes black, then let go and presto, it restarted. Huge shout out to Freddy at this Verizon store!!!!!!

I came to this Verizon store the other day to get everything from my old phone transferred to my new phone. I am very much technologically challenged, so there would’ve been no way for me to figure out how to do it on my own. Dan, one of the sales representatives, sat with me for hours helping me. I’ve never had such an easy experience with a cell phone company. All of the other staff members working were pleasant and helpful as well. I know my new favorite Verizon store now! We visited the DP location in need of 3 new phones, and were changing carriers so we had tons of questions and required a lot of time to walk through everything. Ozzie did a great job explaining all of our options, helped us select the phones we needed and got our phones and plan set up for us with courtesy and professionalism that our previous company lacked. Omar was in training and sat attentively for a few hours as Ozzie downloaded-uploaded-set up a new Apple account for our third phone. It was a long process but these guys made it seem easy, we were very happy with the superior service we received from both gentlemen. Very happy!

Sid helped me out with getting a new phone. He hooked it up! First off I didnt have to wait at all, he helped me right when I walked in. He took his time to figure out what I was looking for, and especially because I wanted to move away from the iPhone and go back to an Android.Not only did he help me with my phone but also with my bill as well. I was able to find out I was eligible for unlimited data for no extra charge and receiving a new Google home with the promotion that was going on. I never would of known about that if it wasnt for him. He was very personable, extremely knowledgeable, and so helpful.The other team members were very nice as well and everyone worked well together. Here is my experience at this location: I walked in and was greeted by Mr. Brant. (He was wearing glasses and had beard.) At the beginning he was friendly but as soon as I reviled why am I visiting their location today, he felt entitled to express his personal opinion which ended up absolutely unprofessional.What we talked about is: $35.00 which I was charged for NOT activation fee but DEVICE SETUP FEE. There is huge difference between activation and setup fee. ( Please make sure you dont get charged $35.00 fee for setup when you buy new phone.)He explained to me that this $35.00 are none refundable but I assured him that I already spoke with another colleague of him and his coworker told me to wait for my $35.00 returned in the form of check. Mr. Brant seemed very aggravated and took this personally. He told me that I agreed with their terms and conditions when I bought the phone from them. In my turn, I explained him that the phone came straight from Samsung factory and the box was unsealed. Also when I came to pick up my phone, I just took the unsealed box and went home to setup my new phone all by myself so I added to my statement to him, that I should pay $35.00 to myself for setting up my phone so they cant charged me for something they never worked on at the first place.P.S. Make sure when you buy new phone, that there is no $35.00 or any other SETUP FEE on your agreement.

Anyone that values their time, should NOT come here. Also they are not an ACTUAL verizon store so if you huy something, I.E a charger and it goes bad, you gotta call the manufacturer and get a replacement.Ive been here 3 times and each time i have sat and waited for an hour to get some help. I have closed on my house in less time then what it takes these guys to help you out.Youre running a cellphone store, not a rocket launching sequan for NASA. Get it together and put some pep in your step.

Ozzie was very help. I was not able to pay my bill over the phone for two days and was told I had to go to the store. To make a long story short we had to call Verizon while at the store and it took a while but they did help me with my account changes. I highly recommend.

I went to this location and was helped by Danny. He was very helpful and answered all me questions . He took the time to transfer all the apps and contacts basically all the stuff stored in my old phone into my new one. Very thankful for that not many people will take the time to do that.

This is the worst Verizon store i’ve ever been to. I wanted to purchase Apple watch, they said it has to be only shipped to their store, which was weird because i have order at other Verizon stores and every item they were able to ship it to my home. Anyways, they said i will receive it in 2 days and they will call me to come and pick it up. It’s been 10 days no phone call what’s so ever. They are only Verizon retail store, i found out at another Verizon and they strictly recommend me to call Verizon and cancel it, because it is possible for some fraud. Folks don’t come here to this retailer.. Go to real Verizon store.

Phone was not charging. Miguel could not have been more helpful & professional ! He pointed out the battery was exploding. Needless to say this could have led to a very dangerous explosion. Miguel helped me select another phone, adjusted errors on our bill and replaced a screen saver on my daughter’s phone ~ one that was purchased at another store. It was refreshing to walk into a Verizon store and be met with top notch service !

I had an amazing experience with Eric. I am not very tech savvy so he was extremely patience and knowledgeable about the different plans and type of phones that would work for my current situation. He was able to ship my phone to me and helped handle everything over phone. I would definitely come back to this store in the future and work with Eric.

Out of all the years my family and I have been with Verizon, Sid is the most helpful and most informative associate with anything you need to know. Sid doesn’t just want a paycheck, he wants to make sure you’re getting what you are paying for. He cares about what you are interested in. For example, I love taking pictures and listening to music. Sid thought id like the Android phones because of how much more gadgets & accessories it has. Long story short, I just upgraded from the iPhone6s to the iPhone8. Whenever you need a new phone or have questions about your current phone or device, I RECOMMEND SID @ the Des Plaines location!

Sells us a phone. Doesnt activate it. We call customer service to set up the phone on our own at home. 1 week later this place calls us back in and takes away the phone for billing reasons. Made us wait an hour in store for reasons unexplained. We are with out a phone because of the poor service this place offers. This location has been more of a headache then help. Please seek other locations when purchasing phones from Verizon!

I stopped by this store the other day just to check out what kind of upgrade I was eligible for & I ended up spending 3 hrs. there. Normally I’d be disgruntled at spending that much time in a store, but this was well worth it. I was greeted upon entering & immediately taken care of by Wojtek. He got me a new iPhone & a tablet at a very reasonable price. He even saved me a bunch of money by switching me to a different plan, eliminating unnecessary items from my previous contract & showing me some military/veteran discounts I’m eligible for. They do offer you accessories, insurance, etc., but that’s to be expected from a sales business & if you refuse it, then don’t nag or push it on you. I’ve been waiting a long time for a Verizon to open up in DP & am extremely happy this one did.
