This our neighborhood convenience store. Just like this rural desert area it is nothing fancy. This place provides a good variety of food, snack, liquor, and gas. It is an oasis when you are in need of some items and it save a trip into town.

A little pricey, especially with the gas, but it is in a great location for everyone in the communities of Desert Edge and Sky Valley. Very convenient.

They refused to take my money because there was a small tear in a one dollar bill. They’re already gouging and now they are refusing legal tender. Screw you.

Dont bother stopping here, they advertised propane, but have no one to fill tanks. Thats some customer service! Also if you need gas and want to give a surge to Californias economy be sure and fill up here. By far they are leaders in the highest gas prices in California. Thats saying something. This is a business that needs to improve service by closing its doors.

Rude, very standoffish clerk. Personally Witnessed clerk manhandling someone outside the store.A Friend of mine was berated, insulted and told to go to the back of the line because the card he had wasnt working and was trying to get the correct card from his pocket

Its ok. Just your local 7-11 style store, with standard fast food items, but with a larger than expected liquor section. Good selection there! I was disappointed with their fast food microwave setup however. They had microwave hot dogs and burgers that you could heat up, but they had no catsup or things to put on them, making the microwave sort of useless.

The employees are very nice

Its another 7/11. Probably buys at the dollar store and sells 2-4x the price. Great for locals. The liquor dept. is extensive though.

It pretty much has whatever you need. But it is not cheap.

This is our neighborhood market right here the gentleman that owns it make sure it has a little bit of every single thing you can probably think of from birth control to cake mixes he has wide variety of liquor and theyre always very very nice Ive been going in there about 20 years now

A desert oasis, there is not much else out here. Great stop for cyclists. Rest room was unavailable when I was there.

Avoid by all means. Incredibly rude and overpriced. I rarely would come here, and when I did I sure did regret it. Never had a good experience. They take advantage of the fact that it is the only store in the area. Organize yourself and go to the supermarkets on Palm Dr. or Date Palm Dr.

Very nice corner store in the desert. Fair prices for saving time into the city. Nice staff and Covid19 compliant. Very important.

We have been buying here for years now. Clerks are very friendly and friendly. Yes their prices are higher than in town, but there are more remote. Have liquor, beer and much of other item rv residents need. Even hardware propane tanks a such that are very handy for minor repairs. For folk here in Desert Edge, convenient friendly store.

A only place in Sky Valley

Its the only game in town so Yay! to their convenience and the emergency of needing a gallon of gasoline. But then the prices? Lets just say its good theres no ten gallon minimum. A few fresh veggies = 5 Clean = 5 But no baños = 0 gas price = 0 Averaged out, they get 2.5 stars

You pay twice the amount youd pay if willing to drive the 15 or 20 minutes it would take to get to the local market or dollar store. That being said, it saves me a 20 minute drive or running out of gas if super low...which is why I gave the 3 star rating.

When u need something u really dont want to drive into town just for an item! Your stuck with price gouging! Way to high on EVERYTHING! Very pricey!

Really rude person the guy who speaks Spanish. I asked him to remove one Item, and I want to add a diferent one. But he then told me that because I didnt had everything he had to start all over again. And he had way too many people behind me to be wasting his time. So rude. If he doesnt want to work then why he is working. Is better to stay home instead of being with his nasty face serving people. Is not my fault that he has a bad day

Its an out of the way liquor store, gas station. In sky valley on dillion last stop for gas on that stretch of road. Prices a lil high but if u need and dont want to drive 10 to 15 min. Into town then this is the place.

Go there only to get enough gas to get to the next stop down the road - one gallon should do it in either direction. They take advantage of the fact that they are the only store for miles in a low income area. Prices are inflated and they charge an ATM fee if you dont have cash. Also, the employees are often rude and disdainful of customers. I was treated so disrespectfully one time when I dropped a fountain beverage that I actually left crying without a drink (they refused to consider allowing me to refill at a discount - my fault I dropped my cup, not theirs - I was yelled at and accused of trying to stay free stuff from them for even asking. It was embarrassing and hurtful)

This store should be boycotted!! They are way over priced with no deals EVER!!! A little off the beaten path but nowhere near far enough from town to be charging these ridiculous prices. They need to stop ripping people off. I would have given zero stars but didnt have that option.

I am a local. I live here year round. They charge way to much for everything. For example, things that sell at the dollar stores for a dollar, sell for 3 or 4 times as much. I like the people that work there now. They are polite and friendly.

Ripoff artists. They are selling things from the dollar store 3 and four times more dollar store price. Gas is ridiculous I only use it for extreme emergencies to get to the next gas station. Unless you have to go there dont save your money and go somewhere else.

Extra charges for ebt usage is very correct and over charging for items that are marked 99cents and very rude employees. They play on only store in town this store is a Complete RIPOFF.

Golden lantern is one of the biggest RIP offs in the desert. Their gas prices are always $1.00 over going price and store prices are outrageous. It is owned by Indians who hate Americans. This is clearly displayed by their rude and nasty behavior.

They charge taxes on EBT Food Cards and told him about it he refused to let me pay for gas there are a ripoff to charge tax for EBT Customers never go there and they review there own business thats wrongful bad business
