Katrina is absolutely amazing! We started talking outside. Before we knew it, she brought a table outside so we could hang out and drink some beers since the brewery across the street would not allow inside seating. The jams were so good that I purchased 4 before we left! We had such a great afternoon hanging out with her. Thank you!!!

I love Beau Bien Fine Foods! I have been buying, eating and gifting their jarred jams and chutneys for years and Im so excited there is a storefront now in Eastern Market. I couldnt think of a more appropriate spot for them. I love the care they put into their products and that the ingredients are locally sourced. I also appreciate the time and care placed into their ever-changing daily menu, which seems to be based on what the best ingredients available at the time are. I always find myself coveting whatever delicious item theyve posted on their page as a lunch item of the day. My personal current favorites of their popular jams/preserves are the Plum Cardamom and Cherry Star Anise. They use a lower sugar recipe, so these arent too sweet, which is a problem I have with many jams. If you are in or near Eastern Market and looking for a tasty thoughtful bite or something to add to your menu for the night, or a great Michigan-made gift for someone! Head to Beau Bien Fine Foods!

Looks quaint - opens at 11:00, at 11:40 with evidence of no business, no one - in fact hostess is distracted, Do you have soup today? Yes, tomato, wonderful may I have a bowl to go? Yes - only they have no soup. The café is not ready for business. The small craft jars of jams and mustards are overpriced at $9.00 and $10.00 for 8 ounces.Very Disappointing - be prepared for limited, very limited choices - no soup and only one offered.Recommendation to owners - dont open for business if you arent prepared.

I love this company ! The use the best ingredients and make every batch with love and care. I love the flavor combinations in every preserve. My favorite is the herbed red onion marmalade, and im not a fan of onions! It adds such flavor to dishes. I also love Peach Lemon Lavendar, with cream cheese and bagels. This is not your ordinary JAM !!
