Small family owned grocery store. Staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and not afraid to go out of their way to assist you. With weekly deals and freebies its a great place to shop.

The meat selection is one of the best. They have a 10% surcharge which I dont love but they have a decent selection of groceries.

Wonder why there are no coupons on product? They take them off, put them in a bag/box per store number and cash them in. Consumers never get the coupon option. The company gets the money straight up.

High prices for the products I need

I used to LOVE this store. I was very upset with the meat department worker today. So upset in fact that I had to wait 6 hours to calm down enough to do this review. I no longer live in Alabama but every time I visit I make a point to come to Piggly Wiggly. Today, after purchasing 2 coolers for the trip, I went with the sole purpose of getting a couple meat bundles. They werent able to do the meat bundles so I was just going to get several packs of other meats. I put back $230.00 (pre-10% added) because when I asked for a certain cut of meat, THAT WAS ON THE RACK HE WAS PUTTING OUT, he rolled it to the back, took the packs off I wanted then came back out and said were dont have any. When I said something about it he said it was not what I asked for BUT I LITERALLY READ THE PACKAGE BEFOREHE TOOK THEM BACK!.I WILL NEVER SHOP THIS LOCATION AGAIN!

Great place to buy fresh meat, they have their own butcher in the back. And usually have great prices on the meats.

I bought ground chuck and my friend and I got really sick. The meat was a little mushy but i didnt think much of it. I ended up going to work and I had to leave. The meat was bad

Great deals on meats that are better quality than you see at Wal-Mart or Publix. Prices on most other products are bit higher, but you do get much better customer service if you need help locating something.

Decent store, not too clean looking, nice staff, some stuff is priced higher than Walmart so Im not sure how this is at cost but ok... The 19$ box of chicken is my favorite thing to buy from there its 10 pounds of cut, trimmed, and clean breast meat taste very good when cooked as well
