People are nice. Building is a wreck. This is their closing sale. Lots of one-off chairs and pieces with deep discounts. Found a bench to buy less than half the sticker. Itll be hit or miss now, but you could get really lucky. Worth a look.

Thank God theyre closing!! The sale prices are nothing special and the dilapidated building shouldve been condemned at least 10-15 yrs ago from all the leaks and mold everywhere!! I started having breathing problems 5 min after walking in. I feel sorry for the employees who have to work there and breathe that toxic air.

This was such a crime you allow this store to jack up prices of furniture, pretending to be offering you some crazy discount where in reality he is ripping off the consumer. Just go out of business already and let a retailer in there that can really serve the community.

Im sorry..... this place is extremely expensive and moldy smelling. Why would someone want to even pay their insane prices if it smells. The water is coming down into pails. Ewwww

Definitely a cool place. Dont be deceived by the outside - its antique. The inside has a huge selection of furniture and the prices are decent. Staff was friendly and helpful. Will be definitely coming back

They have been there forever. If you want knowledgeable folks and a huge selection of high quality, fairly priced furniture there truly is NOWHERE else to go in the area.

A lot of furniture. More older styles. Overpriced, but they are going out of business. Prices are 30 to 40% off, but nothing is labeled with the sale price. Wish them well in retirement.

Hidden away in downtown Dover is this 90 year old gem of a furniture store. This is not a Raymour & Flanigan or Ashley furniture store where everything looks nice but chips and falls apart (at hugh prices mind you)... Harry Loory Furniture has a wide variety of furniture at all price levels. Do they sell cheaper furniture? Yes. Do they sell hardwood brands from the USA that will last 20+ years, YES! They are very polite and helpful, and if they do not have something in stock, they can order it or even get it made for you.Dont waste your time with any other furniture store, if you need good furniture at a fair price, go to Harry Loory Furniture.

What an amazing store. Came across it by accident after coming from other local furniture stores. Followed it from my gps n my first thought was is it really that big from the outside. Yes it is. Walked in and thought that I would never find a thing n walked up down around n around. Place is HUGE. What amazing quality furniture n most of it made in the USA. Owners wonderful people knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with. Totally recommend them. Check them out you will be very surprised.

One of the most amazing selections of furniture in NJ. The prices and service cannot be beat - They have been serving NJ for generations. My only complaint is that I didnt find them before some of the other big box stores. They are now our first stop for any piece of furniture. Mel Loory is an amazing person and will do whatever it takes to ensure his customers are happy! This place is seriously worth the trip!

Harry loory Furniture Harkens back to a time when you actually got face-to-face customer service from a family-owned business. Harry Loory is by far and wide the best furniture store my wife and I have ever shopped in - and we have shopped around a lot looking for furniture since we bought our house a little over two years ago (Im talking every major store selling every major high-end brand including Hickory Chair, Stickley, Century, you name it)The truth is buying furniture is a very difficult, and depending on exactly what you want, costly process. And the industry itself is sort of setup that way in its lack of transparency both with respect to how furniture is made (not just where it was made but how, remember all wood aint solid wood) and how it is sold (price/margins etc.). But its places like Harry Loory that make the process tolerable because they a) have a ton of selection of quality brands that you can actually sit on, with most of them made in the USA and b) arent in it to eek out the highest margin per sale.Before anyone assumes this is just some paid ad, its not. My wife and I have bought now over dozen pieces from the Loorys (most of them are from King Hickory, a higher end NC brand that I really recommend) and each time the process was smooth. They are patient, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to make sure the entire buying process leads to a happy customer.If you are looking for great furniture at a competitive price, Harry Loory is where its at!
