Came to this location after visiting the Cerritos location and not having a positive experience. Met with Greg who was great in helping us select the model of a custom made sectional. Due to the size of the sectional he recommended a designer come to our home and create a 3D image of our living room. Daniela came to our house and provided some excellent ideas. Greg and Daniela were very professional and were not pushy in trying to sell something you didnt want or need. So far we are very happy with the experience and highly recommend this location. The show room is big with plenty of items to look at. Highly recommend!

I didnt like the manager behavior! He wasnt so polite and helpful. Instead We got help from a young lady. I dont know her name, but she was the only reason that we purchased from that store. She was so kind, nice, and polite.

Went shopping for a recliner with a friend and there definitely was a herd to choose from. I was asked to go along for advice. Given this persons size and room decor, I picked 2 perfectly fit recliners. Reaction was a little bit more than flatlined. We continued on to one more place where the reaction was even less than that! A waste of my time, thanks. Personally, La-Z-Boy has the best!

We are newlyweds and purchasing a couch is our first big purchase. So, we took a quick trip to La-Z-Boy Furniture Gallery, the Duarte location. It was a hot day, so we both appreciated the air conditioning in the facility immediately. After a brief survey of the space, an employee introduced herself as Nina. Following the introductions and pleasantries, Nina asked us about our interests in living room furniture. We have specific needs as our living space is small and on the second floor. Nina went right to work introducing us to the options available in the showroom as well as what we could expect should we decide to go the custom route. We asked to have some time to consider our options and Nina was gracious. She was not forceful by trying to pressure us into a decision that day. We went home and deliberated our options for approximately two weeks before narrowing our search. We went back and Nina was ready when we arrived on the showroom floor on another hot morning.In closing the experience was pleasant. We can hardly wait for our new couch. The best comfortable furniture. I don’t like to buy furniture online, we can’t decide if it is suitable for us or not. I got a table base that didn’t fit with my space. I contacted the office and they switched it for free. I bought leather sofas for living room. The recliners are good, and the cushions super comfortableNever hesitate to buy from the store

I purchased a big man recliner chair and I appreciate the lifetime frame and reclining mechanism warranty. The chair is sturdy and very comfortable to sleep on. I have a bad back and this recliner is a great comfort.

I would not recommend this store to anyone ever. I bought over $10,000 in furniture for my living room back on 9-12-20 and didnt receive my order until 1-30-21. When my furniture was delivered there was a piece missing. I was told it would then be delivered on 6-8-21 that never happened. I was then told it would be delivered on 6-29-21. That never happened now I am being told it would be delivered on 8-9-21. We will see what the next excuse will be. Mind you my total spent in this store was $ 10,543.28. The manager of this store has never once called me or even made an attempt to give me any type of apology for this or even offered a discount due to me waiting nearly a year now for the last piece of my entertainment unit that I paid in full for. So in essence they dont even deserve the 1 star I gave. They are awful at follow through with allowing the customer to know whats going on with the order. They would much rather you forget about what they stills owe you seeing as how I already paid for it. I wished I didnt ever go into this store. Lazyboy for being a high priced furniture store is awful at delivering what you pay for. Ive learned my lesson and would never recommend to anyone ever, nor will I ever give them my business again!!

When our 20 year old sofa wore out we headed to Laz Boy for a replacement. Nina and Adriana were so helpful. We had an in home design consultation to confirm our choices. Adriana helped us with our design and made very useful suggestions. She understood our aesthetic and helped us to make good choices.

This was my husband’s and my first visit at La-Z-Boy!! I was interested in purchasing a well made sectional. We were greeted very well by Vincent at the Monrovia store, he directed us to the sectionals of our interests. In the process, we met Arianna who would help design our living room. We took the written information on our desired piece and then met with Arianna to take all our measurements and advise us on other items for our home. Afterwards we met with Raquel and she furthered our experience. In conclusion, we left the store Saturday very happy with all our pieces to update our home. My husband and I were extremely happy with the professional assistance we received from all the Lazyboy staff including the store’s manager.. We can hardly wait to receive our new furniture! The customer service was superb. Because of our health concerns, Jennifer arranged for a private showing before business hours that were convenient. She was patient and knowledgeable and answered all our concerns and provided detail technical insight to product design and manufacturing, and delivery. And easily accommodated last minute changes.

Nina was so helpful. She let us know what was in stock what fabrics we can get it in and how soon. We had to make sure everything fit so she gave us a print out with the dimensions. When we were unable to go back to the store she helped us over the phone which was a great help since my husband had to have surgery. The only thing that I wasnt too excited about and I know was not her fault was a charge of $99 per piece to deliver or $40 to pick it up yourself which I know its store policy but seems kind of much. Other then that was a 5 star experience.

Obviously great choice and furniture but OH MY I have never been through a more convoluted and complicated way of buying a sofa.Chose the style I wanted then asked to see the different material choices. The staff couldn’t find most of them due to the crazy filing system they have. Took around 2 hours to get it sorted. After all that I now have to wait 10 weeks for my sofa and collect it myself from far away. Hoping the sofas will be worth the wait!!

Went to the Duarte store after receiving an email about a 30% off sale and clearance due to store closing for remodeling. We were looking for a new sofa that fit my wife better and with Greg’s help we found exactly what we were looking for. We bought the sofa directly of the floor for about 50% less than the regular price! The store was very well laid out with quite a good selection. Our salesperson Greg was very helpful and patient with us. I would highly recommend Laz-Z-Boy furniture.

Very Helpful Professional I’m telling all my friends and family

I purchased a $4,000 sectional in March 2017. Within three weeks, the sofa started to collapse. The quality is hideous. I called the store several times. The manager avoids the call and wont call back. I decided to write a letter to the CEO, Kurt Darrow in Michigan. Its been two months. No reply. Nothing. This company doesnt care about their poor quality and certainly doesnt care about their customers. Im a repeat customer. They used to be an outstanding company. Now they are worse then IQEAs quality and service. I wish I knew what to do next. Anyone have ideas, please post them.

I went into the store to look for a lazy boy chair for my husband, Fathers Day gift. With all the choices to chose from, Vincent, their super helpful sales associate, was their to guide me through the store and helped me chose the right chair and some additional add on pieces for my living room. Decided lets go take a look.We were greeted by Raquel whom gave us advice on where to look for the style reclining sofas and storage we were interested in then gave us space to explore.Checked with us if we had any questions.The knowledge and expertise of the products and explanations to us letting us know what options we had was wonderful.We found a couch and table we liked. As we were waiting for a quote we fell in love with a couple of recliners instead. We got a quote on those as well.This is where Raquel really impressed me. Im one that is good at noticing little things other might not that can make a big difference in the way something is. Ive sat in plenty of recliners before but never really thought in details about them. She was great in knowing the height difference between my wife and I. With that she had us sit in the recliner again. I thought it was great already. She noticed the small gap between the chair and my legs while sitting. She went and found a tall base for the recliner, put it in place and had me sit again. OMG that made it even better.We were sold but wanted to finish our rounds of checking other stores. There was no pressure at all which made the whole experience greatWe ultimately returned before they closed to finalize the purchase of the recliners, table and a lamp.Definitely spent more than expected on this adventure but when you come across quality products and top tier service it is worth it.We cannot wait for the delivery!

We had the perfect furniture buying experience with Arianna Cardenas as our designer. We even had an appointment, which made the buying experience more personalized and efficient. I have called Arianna with follow up questions and will ask for her personally for our next furniture needs. LA Z BOY is more exiensive that some of the competitors but the quality and service are worth it!

The demonstrator item I purchased has quite a few dings and scratches, but for the price I figured it will refinish easy enough. They charge $ 100. to deliver and thats too much for that item. I compare everything to Amazon, free shipping

Andrew was patient with our many questions, offered helpful suggestions, demonstrated the various functions of the chairs (including stuff underneath I never knew existed) and explained what we should expect during delivery. I felt very safe and comfortable shopping at the Duarte store during this Covid-19 pandemic. They were very concerned with cleanliness with masks, hand sanitizer and social distancing. They even had separate pens for each customer. That being said our sales lady, Celia was great too. Very helpful. This is my second time shopping here and I’ve never been disappointed. Im replacing a La-Z-Boy chair Ive had for well over 30 years. The old chair works great but is worn. The staff was great in helping guide me to a fine replacement. Ive ordered the fabric and cushion Ive wanted and am waiting on the factory now to make it. I wish it came with arm and back covers like my old on did. I had to pay $75 to get matching ones for the new chair.

Found the wall higher recliner that fit my sitting position and leg length, but wasnt happy with the fabric color a day after the purchase. Talked with a sales rep at the store, came back the next day and changed to the right fabric color without additional cost.The one I bought doesnt have a good seat--needs more padding/upholstery/something. Recommend you sit in the one you choose for at least 30 min., to see if it feels right for you. I plan to go back to the store and sit in the identical sample chair and see if it feels the same or if it has more upholstery padding..

I was about half way done remodeling my living room and kitchen when the recent health concerns closed many businesses. I reached out to Lazy Boy in Duerte, Ca. to see what could be done about making a purchase. Lazy Boy employee Jennifer came to the rescue.
