Its not too large, but its very easy to get lost compared to the Clarkston campus. It definitely seems livelier though compared to the Clarkston campus in terms of staffing. There were community events to welcome students back.
Odd to be giving a college bookstore a 5 star review, but I feel like it is deserved. The snack food and drinks are priced constantly with your average convenience store (a steal compared to the vending machines) and while I cannot speak for all of the electronics, the calculators specifically are competitively priced. Admittedly the textbooks are expensive, but the price hike is not as offensive as it potentially could be.Pictured is the price of a cliff bar compared against the student center vending machine.
Clean, but typical college book store. Expect a high mark-up on all items you can purchase
Love, love, loooooove this campus!!!!.... this is the Dunwoody campus of Georgina State University and I absolutely love the nice quiet quaint atmosphere!!! Friendly and helpful faculty and staff who takes the time to explain everything to you!!! My daughter had recently transferred to this campus from an out of state college and the transition was fairly smooth. I felt they could have been more prompt with sending her an email to inform her that all her grades had been transferred from her previous school and she was able to go on and register for classes! We should not have had to physically go to the campus to get that information; however, the overall transfer was pretty smooth. I love the grounds which are nice and clean. No paper, trash or debris everywhere like many campuses have. The buildings are clearly marked making it easy to find where the classes and offices are located!!! Loved the cafeteria with its many food choices and loved the bookstore offering many amenities like a small CVS or Walgreens!!! Lastly, very grateful to know the campus is patrolled by actual Atlanta Police Officers instead of regular security guards!!! Had the opportunity to meet and speak with Sergeant Errol Wooten who had recently transferred from the downtown campus. He was super friendly and put my heart and mind at ease with knowing that the campus was well staffed with trained officers who had boots on the ground basically 24 hours a day..... what a relief for this mother of a 19 year old female student! Its going to be a great experience for her at this campus and Im super excited for her.
Great Community College💯💯
Good size for the area. Quick visit.
They were really helpful, with any questions I have.
Its decent with parking nearby.
A very nice University. I went for the admission purpose in block B, they were very nice n helpful. They also gave me a mug.
Awesome people. Indeed a place to be.
Great price and great options. Campus could use some TLC/landscaping love.
The staff was great. They all took time out to assist and address my concerns.
No complaints, short lines or none. Great teachers and advisers. This location and Alpharetta campus are the best ones for me and I have not had an issue.
This college might be good for the first 30 credit then if possible transfer. If you are not Asian then you are the minority at the dunwoody location. Its overrun with Asian, its Chinatown. Not racism observation, just reality.
Its a great place with great campus environment. Inexpensive to go get your prerequisites classes done.
The whole staff was Excellent!!!! They all deserve theyre position!!!!! Im very well pleased😊
Atlanta Writers Club meets here every month. The campus is a comfortable meeting place.
Free tutoring to help with my placement exams. I am going back to college as an adult learner, this is very helpful.
Great school, super friendly and helpful staffs, awesome facilities compare to other GSU campuses that i’d been to (Dekalb and Clarkston)
Its way too expensive to spend on books for one class every semester. college books is so expensive.
Nice place. Employees really help if you cant find what u need.
Horrible Bookstore....There is a light skin sales clerk with a disgusting attitude...i dont know how she got hired to be a cashier, her behavior is extremely rude when asked a simple question like the location of a book..She rolls her eyes whenever you want to start a conversation with her...Sad and unacceptable behavior she shouldnt be in customer service..Period.
The book prices are very high students have learned to be in genius and go online to get there text books
Im from the Alpharetta campus, and compared to that, the Dunwoody bookstore is way larger, and in turn, has more items.
Great place staff is very helpful.
Apparently I had a similar experience as some of the other reviewers. Apathy is an understatement. The staff there make you feel as if you are burdening them with your presence. One word responses to any questions and complete disregard to the consumer. Ill be moving all my on-campus business elsewhere.
The staff will go the extra to make sure you have what you need. Great customer service!
Loved it when I went there 1.2 million years ago.
Its not bad as u think,You can see from the comment before mine from Dalibor Labudovic Racism still exhist from all colors of people He quote says If you are not Asian then you are the minority at the dunwoody location. Its overrun with Asian, its Chinatown. Not racism observation, just reality. No that is not a Observation thats being blatantly racist. U need to look at your self and check yourself into reality and what you have to say about how you see people about there race shouldnt be on a review post for a campus bookstore. Stuff like this makes GPC look bad and it is unnecessary to say its makes me angry to see this and no one said anything about it for three years later.
Nice and calm atmosphere, good vibes for studies.
I just like going in here to look at the stuff I cannot afford. Either way, its clean and the people working here always help me out when I walk in.
Amazing beautiful campus, and the people are very kind and helpful.
Good bookstore. Has what I need in stock, staff is friendly.
They have a price match option which is nice considering how expensive textbooks can get
If you want to get smart or dumber
Great campus, lots of traffic to get there !
Staff very accommodating, informative & helpful.
It is really difficult to get what you need plus staff is very rude
Has been open and welcoming
A wonderful experience
School book store that is a little over priced compared to online
Many books are unavailable at this location at most times
They were helpful
All the supplies you need are here and then some.
Amazing school.
