I loved the workmanship and professionalism from all stages at Frazee, from browsing to installation, everyone in the company was courteous, friendly and professional. We reviewed and got in-home estimates from several companies. Frazee beat everyone else hands down! From the choices of flooring, description of the pros and cons of materials, cleaning and durability. They beat everyone’s price and have their own cadre of installers. The installation crew was fast and friendly and helped with moving big stuff and got our furniture safely back in place without ANY damage to our furniture, baseboards etc. Love, Love, love this company.
Always the best. Great selection. Lots of brands and sample boards. My go to flooring company for many years, as a builder, and for my own home.
We had a mixed experience as Virginia Bacon Martin did. I happened to stop by just as they were opening their showroom. They were not quite ready with all of their stock, so I came back just a few weeks ago.The first person that asked if I needed help just tried to show me two flat rug displays, as if, with all there was in that showroom that was his best. I left came back another day and asked to work with a female staff! She did direct me to several displays that met my needs and suggested I take them home. Next she was able to order samples that came to my home. This made me feel more comfortable so I ordered two types of carpet for different floors of my home. That is where my good experience ended. On installation day, one man showed up on time, but with no partner to help move furniture. He was trying to move a king size bed headboard out of the room through a very confined space. He could not get the chair out of the room and we had to help. The king size bed, frame, and mattress were piled in the bathroom in addition to a heavy dresser, which could easily have scratched the floor. I brought him a drop cloth to help. When he removed the carpet in the first room, I noticed the only tool he had to clean with was a cheap big box store broom and dust pan. As he spoke and understood little English, I had to stop him from laying the padding until the floor was vacuumed properly. I had to borrow a shop vac from a neighbor to get all the debris out from between the tack strip and the wall. I was appalled that anyone could think we invested in new carpet to put on top of a dirty area. The second installer showed up very late, then remeasured all the room amnd said he was going to the warehouse to cut the carpet. I called twice to find out where he was, as the first man needed to move more furniture. He was frustrated and a lot of time was wasted waiting for the partner.I happened to look outside when the installer finally came back and saw my carpet rolled out on our street, god side down. I was furious. There was no liner or drop cloth underneath. This is a major investment being treated with no respect at all. He decided he did not like what I was telling him, said they always do it this way, and threatened to leave...... I called the store and my sales person said, that, yes, that is what can happen if there is no room in the warehouse! By this time I was in tears. Finally, I told them to take their van off my driveway, and at least put it in a cleaner place with no oil spots. Clearly this installer had a problem with taking direction and caring about the money I spent on carpeting my entire house!I will say that when I supervised and actually did most of the vacuuming, the carpet was installed nicely, but I can only imagine how it would have been sitting on debris if I was not supervising. I had to walk away for a bit, and it was 12 hours before they were done. I went back up to see what was happening and see the first guy sweeping off the carpet fibers with the dirty broom instead of the shop vac on the newly installed carpet. REALLY? So, installation team left much to be desired. To be fair, I did request a discount which was given, but because of the horrid experience with installation I would not recommend this company to anyone. They are letting their reputation be lowered by accepting shoddy practices by the installers who arrive without the tools to do a job.
We had a mixed experience working with Frazee to install new floors in our kitchen. We headed over to Frazees Hillsborough road location shortly after they opened on a Saturday several weeks ago. There were a few customers there already, and the single sales person working that day was clearly having trouble keeping up with who was waiting for him and the order that customers had arrived in. The first time we talked to him, we felt like we were brushed off, probably because I mentioned that we were looking for a less expensive option. He talked to us for maybe less than a minute. After waiting for much longer, he finally had time for us again and actually spent time talking to us about our options and pricing. We decided to go ahead with having someone come to the house to measure our floors and work up a quote, despite the initial negative experience.Frazee was scheduling a couple of weeks out, but the person they sent to measure arrived on time and was very friendly and courteous. He kindly answered a lot of my naive questions about flooring and it was a great experience overall. My experience talking to this person made me feel much more comfortable about working with Frazee after the bad sales floor experience. We got our quote and paid a deposit of half up front to cover the costs of the materials. We went with Marmoleum composite tiles. The tiles took a week or two longer than expected to come in, but Frazee stayed in touch about the delays and got us scheduled quickly to have the flooring installed.Unfortunately, we had a negative experience with the installation. The floor installer arrived an hour late for the job and then told us he couldnt demo the floor as quoted, but would have to lay the new floors on top of the old ones. We agreed to that and were okay with it because the issue with demo was outside of his control. However, he didnt finish the job by the end of the work day when this was supposed to be a one day job. This was the Friday before Mothers Day, and our refrigerator and range had been moved to our (small) dining room for the floor installation. The installer told us he couldnt come back until Tuesday to finish the job, which was a huge and upsetting surprise to us. We contacted Frazee the next day (Saturday) and they apologized and told us they would try to get someone else out to finish the job before Tuesday, but that never happened. The floor installer told the manager at Frazee that we had asked him to leave instead of staying to finish the job on Friday, which is not true. We actually cancelled my birthday dinner reservations for that evening so that we could be at home for him to finish, but he left before it was done anyway. The work on the floor installation seems to have been done very well, and we are very happy with the flooring materials and how they were installed. However, we were very disappointed by the initial sales experience and the job being left unfinished for several days over a holiday weekend. We had to push Frazee to offer us a discount, and Frazee implied that they shouldnt have to give us one since we might be lying about what happened (rather than their employee not telling the truth).I think Frazee needs to add some more sales people on Saturdays and that our installation experience was probably exceptional and unlikely to occur to someone else. However, I would not use Frazee again or recommend that anyone else use them, either.
My wife and I are looking for flooring. We visited Frazee Carpet and Flooring, and worked with Jason Lambert.Jason is a pro. He is very knowledgeable about the products, and the installation, having worked as an installer.I think you will benefit from a visit to Frazee, and hope you can work with Jason Lambert.
Just walked into the showroom and had to walk right back out. The older lady at the desk had not been wearing a mask until we walked in; glared at us in an unfriendly manner and did not otherwise acknowledge us. Also, there was a male employee on the phone with no mask on. First impressions are important! I’ll happily take my business elsewhere rather than patronizing businesses with unfriendly employees who flout public healthcare guidelines and citywide mandates.
Priced 2 other places, Frazee had the best price & customer svc. Installation was fast & professional. I couldnt be happier!
I, a black man, walked thru most of the store, past what appeared to be the reception area and others in their offices and not one single person attempted to engage with me. I left.
Frazee Carpet & Interiors is a One Stop Shop for all your flooring needs the staff is excellent the turnout time for installations is very quick and all of their installers are professional and on point and if there is any installation problems they are there immediately as opposed to a big box store what you get on that is please hold so if you want a good bang for your buck check out Frazee carpet you cant go wrong five stars Plus
Good selection, quick turnaround, carpet installers were professional, friendly, and did a great job. Highly recommend.
First they lost our quote. When we called they apologized and said they would find it and call us back later that day. Two days later we called them back to get our quote still didnt have it. They finally called us back 3 hours later. When they laid our floors they damaged furniture, door jams, took chunks out of our baseboards. Left a hump in our kitchen floor which is still there. When we called about scratches and a wart in the flooring they told us if they couldnt see it they were not replacing the boards. Not impressed. I would not recommend.
If you need some new carpet or hardwood floors refinished, you need to stop by Frazee Carpet & Flooring. Damon, Paulette, and Jason were awesome to work with. While preparing to sell our house we had the existing hardwood floors refinished and all the carpets replaced. The hardwoods looked better than new and the carpet exceeded our expectations.
We visited the showroom and had a positive experience speaking with the sales rep. He took our contact information and said he would call to set up a consultation appointment the following week. Weeks went by with no call, so we contacted him at the number and email address he had provided. He said he didnt have his schedule with him, but would call us as soon as he did, in order to set up a time. A couple of more weeks went by. We got in touch again, and he said there was a death in the family, and that had prevented him from calling us. He said he would call the following Monday. He was very friendly each time, assuring us he fully intended to schedule the appointment. He never has contacted us. Instead of stringing us along, it would have been better to just be honest and say he was overwhelmed with work, or refer us to another employee. We have been patient, because we wanted to give them our business (theyre local with a good reputation). I know other people who have been happy with their work, but apparently, well never know from firsthand experience.
We had all three floors of our house completely redone by Frazee, and couldnt have been happier with our experience, or the results. Jason was great to work with, helping us select carpeting and LVP flooring, and coordinating the work. The installation crews were neat and efficient, and did a great job. We would highly recommend them.
We had a great experience with Frazee and they really helped us out with a very tight timeline. I worked with Jason Lambert and let him know up-front that we had a small window of availability and needed to get new floors selected, measured, ordered and installed very quickly. He helped me focus our selections on floors that would typically be easy to order while still getting the quality we desired. He was incredibly helpful and responsive; building on his good relationships with vendors, Jason was able to quickly secure optimal pricing and a turnaround time which fit our needs. The floor looks terrific and I appreciate how helpful and respectful Jason was. I would definitely recommend Frazee Carpets/Jason Lambert.
Prompt on both estimate visit and resulting carpet installation. Work was quality job and done quickly. Would use again.Update: we have now used them several times in our new home and they are always prompt. Quality products and quality installers. Earned the fifth star.
After working with a bunch of different contractors renovating my home, It was nice to finally have a crew show up on time and complete the work with no issues. Boyd was very laid back and easy to work with. I will be using them again and recommending them in the future.
More than fair, good carpet matching, quick install. Would use again!
We buy lots of flooring from Frazee for our business. They do a great job for us
Nice and extensive selection of flooring, wall and countertop options. You can even check out samples to see how it will look in your house!
The nicest group of employees and I was in and out. Very great for job sites.
We had an excellent experience with Frazee. The staff assisted us with the correct color for the refinishing of hardwood floors and the owners kept in touch with us about progress. It was a very difficult job but the floors look beautiful. In addition, the staff returned at a later date and repaired areas the painters and electricians marred by mistake.
Recently decided to replace the carpet in one bedroom at my house. Unsure where to start, I went to Lowes. Needless to say, it was not a success at all. They wanted almost 1.5K for an 11x12 room with a 3x6 closet. Told me it was 228sqft!!! I guess we didnt learn math the same way. Then I remembered driving by Frazee Carpet & Flooring once in a while and decided to go check it out. What a delightful experience! First, they have lots of choice on the floor, and the sales rep (Jason I believe) was incredibly attentive to my questions. He understood what I was looking for without trying to steer me to spend more than I wanted to. Next was the scheduling, I wasnt very flexible at the time and they accommodated my schedule without any issue.the crew showed up 15min early (how awesome is that?!) and performed an outstanding job! I couldnt move the loft bed out of the room and worked around it with great professionalism. When they left, I felt like I was in a new house!Clean, polite, efficient and respectful of everything throughout the process.Lets not forget that they were also very competitive by charging me just 1K for a high end product!Gice yourself a favor, and give your business to these guys if you want a hassle free carpet project done.thank you very much Frazee Carpet!Frenchie.I would recommend them to anyone in need of quality work for sure!
During our bathroom renovations, our contractor used Frazee to provide tile installation on our floors and bath walls. The price quoted was comparable to other tile specialists. During the tile installation, the following happened:- The installation began two days late, and took a half-day longer than anticipated to complete.- The staff was rude and short-tempered with us when we checked on their work.- The staff failed to consult us or the contractor prior to finishing their work.- The tile work was done incorrectly (rushed job, too much water in the grout, uneven tiles, tiles jutting out of floor and wall).- When our contractor called the Frazee staff back in to fix the work, it was still done incorrectly, and the staff left without consulting us or the contractor.- When our contractor called the Frazee staff back in to fix the work....again, it was still done incorrectly, and the staff left without consulting us or the contractor......again.- When the Frazee supervisor visited our home, they were very dismissive about the errors. As a result of all this, my family was without bathrooms for an additional two weeks, and several days were lost at work due to coordination with Frazee to fix their work. So, one star.
The selection and service and installation, and friendly staff, are top notch
Bought some Cortec here to install myself. The salesperson was helpful and the price was great!
Good selection, low-key sales assistance. They contracted this quirky bathroom linoleum job to guys who went above and beyond. Great matching, top-flight quarterround staining, install. My 2nd project with them.
We hired Frazee when we installed hardwoods throughout our downstairs. They were friendly and helpful enough in their showroom and explained our choices well. But when we got the work done, the crew was rude. They broke our toilet and lied about it. Our plumber took pictures and had to approach them on our behalf to get them to take responsibility. According to our plumber, they bad mouthed us to him saying that we were just difficult people to work with. When we moved into our house after the work was done, we found trash and half drunken soda cans in our cabinets around the house. They messed up the flooring installation in our half bathroom (same one where the toilet was improperly ripped out and broken). At the point that we discovered the flooring that wasnt installed correctly (gaps between), we didnt want them back in our house. One star for the overall experience.
Good selection and customer service
Good prices and customer service
Been working with Frazee for years now and have had great experience with service every time. Stop by if you need any type of flooring!
Lots of flooring options. Carpet, ceramic, vinyl planks, hardwood, engineered wood, laminates... Kid proof, pet proof, waterproof, etc....
Great selection of flooring
Pro-tip: if youre looking for remnants, these guys sell them for the same prices regardless of carpet quality. You get a real bargain if you find a piece thats normally expensive.
Been working with these folks for years.
Very helpful
Helpful and knowledgeable staff
