I go back and forth on this place. Depending who is on duty, I could experience great service or I could have really poor service. I typically go to FedEx in order to print shipping labels and sometimes to have other odds and ends printed. I have been told by several employees that shipping labels are a free service. Today, I stopped in to have a customer service representative print out a shipping label for me. When he told me the price, I told him that I had usually had shipping labels printed for me. He proceeds to tell me that the team is not supposed to give out labels for free, but that he would give it to me for free today. Honestly, it is a 40 cent charge, so Im happy to pay it if necessary. But, I dont really need to know what the team is or isnt doing wrong as a customer. Handle that issue internally and then make it clear to customers moving forward! Not my issue!
I was very impressed with the customer service provided by Daniel R. during my visit. He assisted me with the lamination machine and was able to predict my needs. This trip was quick and hassle free thanks for Daniel. I will be back.
If I could give zero stars, I would. I came by this morning to simply drop off a Fed Ex package. Asked if there was a drop box & a blonde girl who had just unlocked the door to open for the day motioned with her head toward a Fed Ex drop box. I drop it in and she rudely tells me it’s the wrong box & “I can’t get that out.” I said, “Will it still be picked up?” She rudely mumbled that it would. Then my receipt won’t print and she asks “Did you choose ‘print receipt?’” I said I did and she again says there isn’t anything she can do to get it to print. I pointed out that it would be nice to show people which place to drop packages since one is solid black with the “drop here” signage flat on top of it. I also told her I had never seen any other kind of drop box so, WITHOUT ASSISTANCE, it would be logical that I choose the orange and purple one. She AGAIN, rudely gestures towards it and says “It’s EXPRESS,” which honestly means nothing to me. If she doesn’t like interacting with people, this might not be the job for her & her attitude makes your business look bad. Hope my package makes it to its destination.
Brad was very helpful & quick with my prints and i needed this legal paperwork printed on a sunday afternoon + its the labor day holiday weekend...he made it happened!💥⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Allen was such a great help today. This is my first time publishing a book and I was having difficulty scanning such a large image. Not only did he have great knowledge of the machinery, but his customer service was fantastic. He even saved my material for future use. Thank you so much Allen! FedEx (on 9th street)….Way To Go!!
Tacked on $7.50 for a digital enhancement because my file size was at 300dpi instead of 72dpi. Apparently ‘enhancement’ means making something smaller, even with the same exact ratio. Team member agreed the point, but had no specific knowledge about why this fee was applied. I paid the bill and left because I had to get back to work, but I will certainly not return.$13.09 for 4 color copies…..Ridiculous.
Visited 9th St. FedEx April 17 to send a cashiers check for my daughters wedding. I have always had positive experiences at this store, and today was no exception. Christian was very professional, efficient, and friendly with a smile on her face. How delightful to have a person who seems happy to be at work and helping you!
Friendly, knowledgeable, calm staff.Watched the shift manager help 6-7 customers with different printing needs at once, still managed to help me with a large printing/laminating order on the side. That is not easy! Standout example of many great staff moments here.
Everytime I want to print items, John D. always with bad attitude, makes us make multiple trips by placing orders instead of helping us print on site.
On July 12, 2021, I dropped a small package in this office, with FedEx Smart post label, which was to be delivered in Louisiana, it turns out that 11 minutes later someone marked it as delivered, this week August 12, nobody knows the destination of my package, I called to find out what had happened and the person who attended me says that he does not know what to say to me.
We tried a few places to take passport photos, and this one is the best in town. They have a good camera. And if not satisfied, they will take another one for you.
Such a frustrating place to do business! Save yourself a headache and go somewhere else. I will start using another place to do my print jobs. The staff were super rude. Took way too long to pick up an order that I placed online. They called me and said it was ready for pick up. You’ve lost a faithful customer!
I spoke to Brad about printing stickers and he was super helpful and kind. Totally recommended
I went to Fedex after putting in an order right before they opened at 8am. The online order said that it would be ready by 10:30am, but I needed it no later than 8:30am. I sent an email explaining my situation, went to the store, and it was ready at 8:05am. I really appreciated the promptness and the easy manner of the gentleman who helped me, because I was nervous about not getting to work on time. Thank you for making my day feel so much easier!(This is not to say everyones request for early preparation can be fulfilled, as orders and situations may vary)
This review is for the FedEx service part of this business. I use FedEx almost daily in my work for a small local business -- mostly for their International shipping service. I generate all of my labels and paperwork online, and only have to engage this location as a drop-off for when I miss the 5pm cutoff to schedule a driver pickup.Last Tuesday, I dropped off a four-piece shipment to the UK designated International Priority, for delivery on Thursday. All of the labels and customs documentation were enclosed as normal. I confirmed that I made it in time to catch the Express drivers pickup and left.On Wednesday afternoon, I came back to drop off a different International Priority shipment. The employee at the counter asked if I had been in the day before, and told me my packages didnt ship because I didnt include any customs paperwork. My four packages were still on a hand truck. I told her to wheel them to me and I pulled the customs documents out of the pouch on the master carton (the first of the four packages of this shipment). She told me the customs paperwork needed to be included on each package. I told her that was not the case, I was familiar with the paperwork, and shipped internationally with FedEx several times a week. She insisted, and handed me some carbon-copy customs forms to fill out. I told her again that she was mistaken and asked to speak to her manager. The manager told me that they were just trying to save me from my packages being stuck in customs. I informed her she just cost my company $2,300 because now my packages wont make their original deadline. No apologies from either of them. I grabbed my packages, returned to my office to update the shipping labels on the late package (because I had to call FedEx to confirm my discount), confirmed with the rep on the phone about the customs documentation procedure, and drove 30 minutes to a different hub to make the cut off.All this to say, be wary of the staff working this retail location -- they are not properly trained on a basic, daily function of their job. FedEx lost all of my international business that day -- coincidentally, I was in the process of negotiating new rates with UPS and I was happy to sign an exclusive agreement the following morning.
I had an an amazing 1st time experience placing orders for 3 Canvas Prints. Brad was helpful, kind, and terrific to work with. He explained all of my options and provided a great product. Better than anything I expected. I was blown away! If you want excellent, friendly service, Brad is your guy. I will definitely be back.
Garbage location. The white girl working completely ignored me in true white girl fashion and refused to help me print my papers and even behaved as though I was a nuisance for even asking. In this climate. Lol. Would not recommend.
My mom had an emergency we had to get papers printed and faxed asap. we arrived during senior hours which is fine except my mom has no idea what she is doing, lol. They went above and beyond helping me help get codes and numbers so she doesnt have to do it on her own. Thomas and Amber are the 2 main ones, I honestly just wanted to thank you all.
I dropped off a few books to be spiral bound and was told they would be ready in a few hours. I wouldnt have left them if I knew it would actually take two days. I needed them to study for exams the next week. When I called to check the status, the man who answered (I think it was Brad) gave me a very long, rude rant about how they were understaffed and he had many orders to fill before mine and it wouldnt be ready until the next day. I understand being understaffed and having orders to fill, but they shouldnt have told me it would only be a few hours if that wasnt possible, and he shouldnt have been so rude about it. They said they would call when the books were ready but they didnt, I had to call two days after to find out they were ready.
The shipping at FedEx is fast and convenience the box sizes can use a little better dimensioning but other than that it works fine.
Tried to print out one picture and had the most trouble. Apparently their machines dont work with iphone or cloud services.
My 600pg book was falling apart at the binding and I needed to get it fixed. I tried to go to Staples Copy & Print and they couldnt repair it or put it in a spiral binding, so I tried this FedEx location and they were able to do it quickly and carefully. The customer service was excellent. Ive gone back to do several more spiral bindings and it was done with the same quality and care (with a great price). The customer service is what really sets this place apart and I had to review it. Ill definitely be coming back in the future.
I visited this branch a few times to print photos, documents and send packages. Almost all staff are friendly and some of them are exceptionally helpful (wish I could remember the names). Passport photos are a bit expensive though. They have 2 self-service printing stations that are quite handy. Always offered help when I seemed lost or looking for something. The overnight shipments arrived in time.
Went to print four 10x10 posters which is advertised for the price of 29.99, was told by the employee theyll have to crop the photos (but did not mention at all that it would cost any fee), he cropped the photos infront of me on their PC (took less than 3 minutes)today at pickup each photo had an extra charge of 7.5$ Per photo (30$ total) For digital file enhancement which when I asked about was told it is for cropping the photos!!! When I asked why wasnt I told about it, he rudely answered that I could have cropped them myself! If you mentioned before placing the order I would have easily cropped them in less than 3 minutes and gave you the filesFedEx you have lost my business
I Went in to print photos and some documents. The guy that works there glanced at the documents and asked me why Im printing these: he asked if I need these to go back HOME. What a interesting question: thats non of your business sir.Learn to respect others first if you want others to respect you. And I would kindly suggest you to switch to another job if you cant handle customer facing roles.
Ive been to this location about a handful of times. I have not once walked out disappointed with the customer service.
Very helpful staff! It was busy and still was treated excellent great customer service especially Oneika & Allen.
I went here on August 13th at 8:45pm and this guy in training named Vic was there helping people out, and he was extremely helpful and also very professional. I was very impressed with the service.
I went in here with a laptop (completely unpackaged) I needed to ship and nothing else (including a clue about what to do). One of the employees there, Darius, was exceedingly helpful and made the entire experience effortless. I came in expecting to spend a lot of time and money getting things sorted out, but was out quickly with a securely packaged laptop shipped off to the destination. I couldnt be more pleasantly surprised about this experience unless they just gave me free stuff on top of it.
While I can’t speak for the entire staff or business, I don’t think I’ll come here for any business.I went to the counter and told the gentleman I had no idea what I was doing. I explained I was trying to print a photo and it was to be a certain size. After being rushed through my options he walked off. If I come into a place and I want to give you my business, try to actually help me or hand me off to someone who can then show me how to do it. I don’t work here so I have no idea what I’m doing. That’s the point.I walked out and went to Staples.
This place is a nightmare we were trying to get a customer to return his package and they refuse to help him and gave him a horrible attitude. We now understand why they have a 3.3 rating stars
Wow! I visited Tues. 11/19, approx. 630pm. I was so thrilled about the outstanding customer service that I received from 3 people! Please forgive me if I mispell the names or mixed them up. But it was 3 ladies named: Oneka, Samantha &Christian. I walked in prior to going to work nearby expecting to spend a long time to get something packaged. I gave myself about an hour to make sure Id get to work timely. Low and behold, it was an est. 10 mins. No wait, rang up, & package boxed. I take the time to give accolades because too many times we complain. So Bravo, Ladies! I appreciate your excellent professionalism, friendliness and customer service!
Very quick, super helpful, and let me print something I needed very urgently for free even! Will visit again if ever in need! :)
Every time I have been here I have found the staff to be helpful beyond words. They take the time to make sure that every project is inline with my expectations. They are quick on the turn around, delivery is fast and friendly and they are more than eager to help over the phone with any questions I have. Thank you for making my life easier!
I regularly use this FedEx Office for printing and shipping services for personal as well as work-related projects. The employees are always very helpful and have on multiple occasions rushed jobs for me with no or reasonable additional charge. I have conducted price comparisons for print and project services and their prices are comparable and reasonable, and discounted if you are a Duke employee. Their location is convenient and always looks clean and organized.
Read the reviews from several years ago but decided to go with them since they are 24 hours. I spoke with an associate named Mark who was supremely helpful and went out of his way to get my order right. He was very polite and took extra time to help walk me through an online issue. I will use this store again!
The guy that took care of my package was extremely nice. He was quick and efficient and I was not there for more than 7 minutes.
Came here today to pick up a package that I placed on hold, last night. Had no issues getting that done, and I received a phonecall confirmation and a text saying that my package was here. The staff that greeted me were very polite and friendly. I was in and out in about 3 minutes. Great experience!
Really friendly and helpful representatives that efficiently get the job done.
Print job turned out as expected. Massive attitude from unhelpful employee behind the counter. Their large-format paper cutter was not working. I tried it & it ruined two poster-sized print-jobs I was trying to cut. It tore and creased them. Very frustrating. I brought this to the attention of one of the employees & she told me that she knew it was broken and had been for a while. I told her that she should remove it from the self-serve area or at least put a note on it to tell people it was out of commission. It didnt register with her. I showed her the portion of my project that it had ruined. It did not register. I went back to the counter & told them what happened. The other employee told me that I was wrong -- the paper cutter was working. I insisted it was broken & pointed to the other employee who had just told me it was a known thing that the cutter was broken. I asked her to reprint the two pages the cutter had ruined. She did. I told her I was going to need to use the cutter they kept behind the counter (identical to the one in the self-serve area). She told me that she couldnt let me use it (Thats our policy). I told her that I would need her to cut it for me then. She told me that she was going to charge me $2 for every page that she cut. I then got my are you friggin kidding me face and asked, What am I supposed to do? She went to talk to someone else -- someone who had some sense, it turned out -- and she picked up the cutter from behind the counter and walked it out into the store. I asked if I should follow her. She ignored me. I followed her to the self-serve area. She placed the cutter down, crooked and barely balanced on the table, and said dismissively, There you go and walked away. The broken one was still there, in the way, and nobody put a note on it. I had to move it and set up the new paper cutter before I could use it.I have used this place a time or two. Mixed results. Always understaffed. Sometimes helpful. Rarely friendly. Today was a low day for their customer service. I supposed it was just the one employee I interacted with the most that was the most disappointing. There is no reason that they cant get it together. I will avoid using this place in the future. Id advise you do the same....
Staff seemed helpful, but then turned out to be quite rude. I overheard another customer saying something to the effect of hope you get some time off, which led me to think that these folks arent getting enough time off. This would make plenty of sense because no one should speak to a customer the way I was spoken to. I would avoid this place.
Ive noticed most of the employees are veteran employees but they always act like they really dont know what theyre doing. They lack a sense of urgency. Customer service can use some improving. Every visit I make seems to be a long one..
If I could give less than a 1 star rating i would. I had planned this morning to get an oversized survey (18 x 24) scanned, and called ahead to ask if these people could do it. Drove 20 miles to get here. Then came in the store with my small, very well-behaved dog, and they threw us out because we dont allow dogs in here--our customers may have allergies. Well, not only is my dog hypoallergenic and probably better bred than most of the employees here, I have now developed an allergy to this place. They wanted me to put her in the car on a 100+ degree day. I left and called UPS Store down the street on 9th to ask if they could do the scan and if they allow dogs in their store. They welcomed us both. Goodbye FedEx Print Center, hello UPS!
Plain scammers! Standing there for over an hour I am told 64.95 for shipping two items. If we have to use a second box with will be $24 more. Thus approx $90 for the two items. about another 20 minutes go by and I just cant wait anymore. Subsequently, they tell me I can go and just fill out this form. And they will call me with the total. they call me two more hours later telling me it is going to $150! WTF! She claims that what she said was not an estimate. She is not obligated to anything she said. NEVER USED THIS DUMP!!!
VERY SLOW! Two people might be waiting in line and the reps will take forever to serve each customer. Additional service desks are always free, but no staff will fill them. There always seems to be enough staff buzzing around to help customers, but they are too busy doing other things. Delivering a package here is a nightmare.
Stood at the counter 10 min. Employees looked but never offered to help. I was shipping a package that was completely ready to go.
I left my USB stick in a print kiosk and after explaining that Id already left the state on travels, Daisy took down my information and mailed it back to my house in California where it was waiting for me when I got home. Top notch.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff! Shipped a package from this store. Ron is the best 😀!
Always friendly, but on the past two trips they wont accept my packages. I ship clothing and wrap everything in heavy paper and tape well, but am told I must buy their packages to ship in. Im now going to the UPS store down the block.
If you don’t know how to use a printer or an electronic equipment correctly don’t come here!I just saw the most terrible thing! An old lady was really upset because nobody wanted to help her, they told her what to do in a very general way like “follow the instructions”She was about to cry that I felt really bad for her so I offered my help, she has to pay for several pages that were not copied correctly (of course).
ALWAYS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL STAFF...I APPRECIATE EACH AND EVERY STAFF MEMBER IVE ENCOUNTERED
Zero stars. Worst fedex branch ive ever experienced. Delivery driver lied and said delivered last Friday. Had me thinking somebody stole my package when it was actually never delivered. Don’t jus put “delivered” on the tracking status if hasn’t been delivered.UPDATE : Fedex has now stated my package was lost in transit. So I’m now out of luck on my Christmas present Because of thieving Fedex. Since someone from fedex scanned my package, I’m assuming that same person stole my package. Until I get an answer This Fedex is nothing but a group of robbers.
Their printing kiosks do not work. I was there for 20 min trying to print 1 photo from my phone, had to leave because it was very frustrating.
Great place for prints. I use them for business documents and such and I have never had an issue. Employees can be a little rude at times and rushing me through the order system.
Everyone is very friendly and willing to help you with anything. I always leave with a big smile on my face.
The staff are not friendly and rather rude Id say. I said I would like to ship a document with return envelop and she doesnt even care to answer. So I just walked out. Never ever will I use this office again.
Trash service. I constantly get the wrong packages delivered to my apartment and end up having to find the real person and giving it to them personally.
I ship several packages for work. I need to have a receipt to close out my work order. Everytime I come here I always have to wait 15 minutes or more behind one person who is doing an international shipment. It is like no one knows how to operate a computer and prepare their shipments ahead of time. There is always only one person working the fedex line while the other 2 or 3 employees could care less how long you wait. Useless!!
Avoid if you have the option. UPS down the street and in the Lakeview center are way better.
Great customer service made it easy to ship my package.
I like how a place that charges a rate to use the internet to print has internet thats 3x slower than my apartment (which has poor speeds to begin with). After spending several $ to login to my gmail I decided to leave and buy a printer rather than spend any additional time and money at this place. Cant speak to the other services, but Ill never print here again.
Very disappointed with the photo printing. The machines are slow and not functioning. We gave up trying to use them
Ive used this location multiple times for different services (printing, shipping, packing) because its close to where I work. Different problem every visit. Long waits, poor/no communication with order statis, refused shipments while offering criticisms but NO SOLUTIONS. Im over it. Make the drive to another location or use a different company. Just dont waste your time here!
Its okay. Sometimes I have trouble with the Kinkos service. Lately, for a class, Ive been having to print double sided documents. I like to print on larger sheets since the printers dont print to the edge. I have to set up my 2 page document in InDesign as 11x17 and export as a PDF and request printing double sided on 12x18. The past few times I went, someone would blame me for the document being a different size and print it wrong a few times because they didnt know how to use the software properly. However, there is one guy, I dont know his name but he wears glasses and has a beard I think, who printed a double sided 4x6 document on an 8.5x11 sheet without a problem (after the second try). He never blamed me for the document size and he was finished printing in a couple of minutes. On the other hand, I had to deal with a lady, for about an hour and a half, who didnt know how to print a double sided 11x17 document with crop marks on a 12x18 sheet properly without altering my PDF might I add. She was very nice though and didnt charge me the digital enhancement fee and the store was very busy, so it wasnt entirely her fault. I just want to conclude this by saying that this place is good for cheap printing, but it is very busy and falls behind in some ways with employee training.
Very friendly and helpful staff in the morning, when I arrived. I will use them more.
The lady with glasses is really nice & helpful.. Where you send your package out
So nice to have this option. Especially when it is open 24 hours.
I walked in and was not greeted. I had to announce myself to someone 6 feet away from me. He acted like it was a PROBLEM to help me. It was horrible. NEVER EVER AGAIN. Duke has better service from 8-6p.m.
Terrible customer service. Pat was rude and was no help whatsoever. If youre a printing center you should know at least something about different types of paper.
The store is nice enough but the self service printing of large format items is really expensive.
Staff should make certain equipment is working prior to charging customer for self service.
Very common spot for wifiBut you have to pay greens for it Douh!
One lady there is really annoying and rude doesnt know a thing about computers or printing. The rest seem to be bothered that you are there. It always seems to be very busy in there, one day it took me 1hr 30min to print one pdf document.
Very rude staffs, not helping at all, try to charge extra for retaping every package possible
The staff is courteous and very helpful.
I there 8/06/18 the ship something through FedEx in one of the boxes and the cashier was trying to charge me to $2.00 Dollars more of what the sign marked & said you cant whyThat aint what the sign says see what Im sorry may I speak to the manager he hesitated they wont charge me a $8 and never brought the manager to my attention so whats your prices next time you shop there
Went in to get a poster printed, was told incorrect information and ended up wasting a lot of time.
This place rocks, Daisy is on top of everything!
We only love the service and personalities!!
Christian danced and sang for us. I do not agree with the poor review above.
James is a consummate professional.
Very good service and staff
Nice for do it yourself tasks
