I recently switched to CVS from a different pharmacy. Huge difference! Staff are friendly and welcoming. Never too long of a wait. Store is clean & well organized.
The average 2.3 rating is well earned. Ive lived near this pharmacy since 2007. Helping customers seems to be a chore beneath the pay scale of the employees. I used to go inside to pick up, and as the only customer been met with 3-4 employees running around filling prescriptions telling you Someone will be with you in a minute, and 5 minutes later someone condescends to check you out. Filling prescriptions seems to be more intellectually stimulating than helping customers. So I started going through the drive through hoping for an improvement. Today the person attending seemed impatient taking my information, then tossed my prescriptions and my HSA card back in the return chute without saying a word. I felt terrible interrupting whatever they were doing in lieu of their job.
Had a scare last night.. My inhaler for albuteral stoppex dispensing... Went to pharmacy first thing this morning.. Told pharmacy what had happened... Was surprised to find out.. That at least once a week take inhaler apart.. Clean socket with hot water.. To remove build-up... It worked.. Thanked the pharmacy tech... Life goes on.. Thanks
The pharmacy team is great. Yes, they can be busy, and yes that can mean things take time, but I have been able to build a great rapport with both pharmacists and techs who go above and beyond to make sure I get my needs met when it comes to managing my many medications. I know Im in good hands. Be kind and patient, they have very stressful jobs!I have had less than stellar experiences in the past that almost sent me away from this location, but over the past year or so they have blown me away with the help theyve provided me, especially during the pandemic.
Went for a COVID test and the process was well explained and simple. They were friendly, which says a lot when youre working pharmaceuticals during a pandemic. My roommate had a test scheduled also and they called him in early as the city has a curfew tonight. Thank you guys!
Have been a pharmacy customer off and on for 5 years or so. Was great but had to switch due to change in insurance.Switched back to CVS two years ago and was appalled at the turn over in personnel and the lack of help at this location. The service was slow to non-existent The past year has been much better and Im glad to be a CVS customer again!
Terrible self service photo kiosks! Wifi connection - doesnt work. Bluetooth connection doesnt work. From within the app - doesnt work. Direct connection with USB cable - wants to import at minimum the latest 100 pics from my phone, are you kidding me? I spent 15 minutes trying to self print a photo and Im in Tech.
I was really surprised at the other reviews since I had a completely opposite experience.I have been to this location twice and both times were great.I had a Covid test and was told results would be in a 6-10 days. Mine and my wife’s test came back in 3 days. The process was easy and pain free.Today I went for a flu shot and the tech was very nice and the pharmacist was quick and prompt. Very clean and good experience.
This location has been terrible for a long time - today was prime example of the type of under-trained people they hire to support the pharmacist - sat in drive-thru lane for 10+min then told I had to come inside b/c they couldnt figure out my new insurance info. Once inside, the VERY unprofessional customer care concierge Stephanie was rolling her eyes at me b/c she couldnt type my name correctly. Tried calling to give feedback (15+min wait time) & online form kept timing out - so putting it here now so others can avoid the hassle with this location.
Do not go here for a Covid test.. Been waiting 8 days and still nothing. Go to a clinic. Know someone who went on a Friday and had results on Sunday... UPDATE..it took 11 days to get the result back
I have been going to this pharmacy for years, but will be taking my business elsewhere after the terrible treatment and terrible customer service I received at the pharmacy this evening. I went through the drive-through to pickup my prescriptions this evening and was told I only had one prescription ready, despite that I knew I had, and the CVS pharmacy website clearly showed that I had, four prescriptions ready for pickup. I went inside to straighten things out and the same rude person that was at the drive-through earlier was at the counter. Instead of simply checking to see if I had additional prescriptions ready for pickup, which would have taken him two seconds, and even after I showed him that I clearly had additional prescriptions available for pickup, he again told me that I had no other prescriptions available and made me go to the drop-off counter. He was incredibly rude, and his behavior was downright unacceptable. Long story short, after waiting a very long time to speak to someone at the drop-off counter just to have that person confirm that I was correct, that I indeed had three additional prescriptions ready for pickup, and waiting in a very long line for the third time, I finally got my prescriptions. The whole ordeal took me almost an hour. That, and no one ever apologized for the poor customer service I received or the huge inconvenience I was put through, even though the staff members I dealt with were in the wrong. The whole reason I went through the drive-through was to save time! What a big mistake that was! If you want to be treated with respect and as a valued customer, or even if you just want good customer service, steer clear of this pharmacy. I would give the customer service at the pharmacy zero stars if I could.
I just wanted a flu shot but they made me wait by the consultation room for half an hour so I just got up and left. It takes two seconds to give someone a flu shot. I have done it myself to hundreds of people!
Went there today. Clean tidy, a lot of stuff in stock and the cashier Jack was super nice :)
The guys at the pharmacy were nice. The lady cashier tonight was not friendly at all. Needs more customer service training. I always go to Walgreens due to location convenience but CVS is the one where my insurance partners with. Im surprised at how disorganized, dirty and empty this store is. I hope not all CVS are like this.
This pharmacy is the worst of the worst I have ever encountered. The pharmacy was short staffed for so long (sometimes there would be one employee working the whole pharmacy, and they had to call cashiers up to help), had and still have a high turnover rate, and issues answering the phones. At one point, they were 2 weeks behind on refills! The drive thru lane I ended up having to leave from a couple times because it took too long. And I thought it would get better with more staff and hasnt. Now the drive thru lane is also used for testing, so the drive thru is useless because it takes forever and I am still having similar issues as before. (I recently switched pharmacies because I had had enough). But now the actual main store was a mess tonight. I go in later in the evening. Around 8:30 pm, but only needed a couple things. No one, not even an employee to be seen was around. So, when I went to check out, I waited for a bit when a manager came out. Asked if I had seen the girl who was hard to miss because of her hair. I said I hadnt seen anyone and the manager ended up checking me out. I actually think maybe this employee just walked out! I dont have any other explanation. Bottom line, dont go to this pharmacy if you need a even half way reliable one and I guess just sometimes no one is even there in the main store anyways.
Went into the minute clinic, which the doctor was fantastic. Doctor asked if i wanted to fill the prescription there, i said yes to save time, she asked if i was sure, which now I understand why. I waited 20 minutes like they said, they came and checked in on me and said they never received the prescription, said they would talk to a doctor once she was done with her patient, 40 minutes go by, seeing patients go in and out of the clinic, and i make a point that i am starting to get impatient, finally they talk to the doctor, we get everything squared off and they say my insurance doesnt work for these prescriptions here. ( which i dont understand why it would be any different???) And that I have to call another pharmacy after waiting an hour and a half, have the other pharmacy call this CVS to transfer, why do i have to call, and also explain the details of what is being transferred.I apologize if i irritated anyone at this pharmacy..
I had recently developed a cold that I havent been able to shake. I went in to the Minute Clinic and waited two minutes. The doctor came out and was very pleasant. Took the time to listen to my concerns and give me a quick exam - turns out I have a serious ear infection! Unfortunately, I had forgotten I switched purses and didnt have my current information. The doctor said No worries! I will only charge you for the visit. Yes, it was still around the $100 mark but it isnt anything over the top. I was in and out in about 15 minutes. The doctor forwarded the prescription to the pharmacy where Alyssa and another pharmacist I sadly didnt get the name of proceeded to tell me about a great manufacturers coupon. Yes, it was a bit of a wait but it was around 5:30-6 so typically busy. They were very considerate, helpful and patient with my questions and concerns. The pharmacists are awesome!!!
Great employees, and good customer service.
This review is regarding the pharmacy, specifically. Ive been going to this pharmacy for a couple years now and the service has continually gone down hill. But yesterday was the straw that broke the camels back to write this one star review. I called in at 4pm to ask that my prescription be ready by 5pm. They said that it would be ready by 5pm. I arrive at 5 and its not ready, 10-15 minutes more the tech says. Well, thats about par for the course here so I wait another 15 minutes. Finally the tech comes over and says that the Rx is ready but the pharmacist who needs to check it has just gone on break 5 minutes ago and it would be another 25 minutes. What!?!? So, first, my prescription is not ready before the promised time, and then while I am literally waiting by the counter while it is being prepared, the pharmacist goes on break!? Clearly poor communication amonsgt pharmacy staff and extremely poor customer service.Once again, this is pharmacy only, cant really speak for the rest of the store
The staff here is always so friendly. Melissa and her crew in the pharmacy are always so patient and have smiles on their face even though they are constantly moving. I have used CVS for years and in other cities and states and this is the best one by far.
I went into CVS Pharmacy to transfer my prescriptions due to change in insurance. Alyssa gave me some price quotes on all my prescriptions and they were competitive to the mail-order pharmacy. Thank-you for the time you gave me!
This pharmacy is so under staffed that they are incapable of filling prescriptions in any reasonable amount of time. 4 to 6 hours after the prescription is sent and they are still unable to complete the order. The district manager needs to get more staff or shut it down until they can fully staff the pharmacy. We will no longer be using CVS for our pharmacy.
Me and My family go here a lot and lately, they have been having really really bad service lately especially in the pharmacy part. If I were and if you go here then I recommend changing where you pick up your prescription I know that there’s a CVS pharmacy at Target on 2000 Cliff Lake Rd.I hope this helps
Ive been going here for about three months and have a certain, very important prescription that I get on a weekly basis, oh and it needs to be special ordered every single time. Instead of stocking it, even three months later, they say they will order and have it next day. I go in to find out they forgot to place the order. I have yet to have a smooth experience. Bad pharmacy. Ive had it with this place!!
Terrible sales person up front. The individual gave me faulty information about the sale sticker. She didnt know how buy 1, get 50% off functions - Stupidest Retail Clerk Outside of the Third World Award goes to this individual. I just left - I went to Apple Valley and received good natured service ... and actually received the deal that was advertised in the store. : ) The Eagan store REPEATEDLY seems to retain the worst sales associates and loses the best sales associates. : ( Sad. Very sad store.
TERRIBLE SERVICE! I went to check out and I was accused of stealing! I was in there for 5mins not even. I noticed right away that I was being watched. Grace and her manager accused Me as I was checking out. They were so rude When I asked for any explanation. I will never return to the store. Btw I’m bi-racial.
We were at the Minute Clinic for over an hour today for a rash caused by an antibiotic. After our zero minute wait and 60 minute appointment the clinician sent four, not one as prescribed, prescriptions to the Walgreens pharmacy. After being at Walgreens for 15 minutes they were able to decipher what was sent. DO Not waste your time. There was a reason we had a zero minute wait.
Called 3 different times today and gave up at the 15 minute mark each time. Never heard from a human the entire time.
All employees are very friendly. I have never had a problem at the pharmacy and it typically takes about 5 minutes. I have gone a few times around 5 and it was pretty crazy, but thats to be expected...if thats someone complaint, it shouldnt be too hard to go a little later. Some people on here are upset with the minute clinic taking longer than it should when there are people ahead of them. Do you think the doctors are trying to take longer? Or maybe that the patient is making it take longer than they should?
FED UP WITH THEIR POOR SERVICE AND LACK OF COMMUNICATION. They get rude when they are in the wrong. They dont call or let you know they dont have it in stock until you drive there and dont help you figure out a plan.
Over 30 minutes from on hold, because the robo voice is useless. Also they never have anything in stock. It’s been a nightmare since my employer switched from Walgreens.... AVOID at all costs
No matter what time I go to pick up a prescription at the drive-thru, it takes what seems like forever. Went today and there was nobody in the line, WooHoo, false alarm. After being told 2x that itll be just a minute I left. I wish that I could go back to Walgreens or Cub. I cant recommend this pharmacy
Finally had enough of this place and will be switching pharmacies. Always some kind of issue with them.
Inept and indifferent both times Ive been there to pick up prescriptions. I cqnt believe that CVS does nothing to address a location rated this poorly.
Not at all helpful. Not recommended if you are in the pharmacy the first time and you need help in finding something. Pharmacy people ask to go to front desk and front desk and they keep us kicking around.... good luck!
Ive been trying to give Eagan Pharmacy second changes and I just. cant. do. it. anymore. Sending me home with the wrong prescriptions, never having my prescriptions done on time, changing location hours constantly, having the incorrect hours on the website/phone number, etc. Ive yet to have a smooth experience at the Eagan location and Ive been filling my prescriptions there for over one-year. Shame on me for hitting my breaking point and not leaving earlier.
Dont go for the pharmacy, go for the cheap selection of basics. Its a great store but it needs some improvement.
By far the worst pharmacy staff in Eagan. Go anywhere but here.
Terrible pharmacy. A bunch of morons. Always messing up. Always taking hours and then still messing up or not having it ready.
Could you please post your actual PHARMACY hours as well as your store hours?!!!!! This is horrible especially for someone with an emergency that needs their Rx filled right away. Ive been sent on a wild goose chase twice before! Glad I had the wherewithal to call tonight! Geez.
Always courteous, quick with my familys prescriptions, and conveniently close to home. The only drawback is not having a 24 hour pharmacist nearby.
The trash can is always overflowing outside... understaffed and unhappy employees. Just go somewhere else.
They kicked me out right when I walked through the door even though I have never been there before. Note that I am bi-racial.
Staff is a little too busy. only really go there for convenience
Placed orders for same day pickup Photos. Almost two weeks, no update.
I will never use a CVS Pharmacy again. I had called and requested to have a prior authorization form sent to my doctor 4 times and it was never done. so here I am a month later without my prescription
The staff and Store Manager are incompetent. Go elsewhere...possibly Walgreens
They kicked us out for doing nothing and I had an Asian and black friend with me that r teenagers and got kicked out for nothing and we were teenagers
Always great service
I had to wait 68 minutes at the CVS store in Eagan last week to get my prescriptions filled.
All three people in the minute clinic take their lunch at the same time. Not a very good business practice.
Service was absolutely terrible
They forgot to give me flu shot
Good location!
Minute clinic? Took over one hour with two customers ahead.
Superior pharmacy.
Had an excellent experience receiving our COVID booster yesterday. Easy to make an appointment, check-in was quick and on time. The pharmacist Jak was so professional and welcoming. Such a terrific brand representative for CVS. You are doing an incredible job helping to get this virus under control.
