Yasmin, one of the pharmacy techs, is amazing! I’ve been coming to this Walgreens for years and every time I work with Yasmin, the experience is friendly and efficient. Today, she was able to fill a new Rx over the lunch hour, even though the prescription was called in to a different Walgreens mistakenly. Instead of having me come back in an hour, she was able to work with the staff and help us out immediately. This wad super helpful especially having a very sick baby at home.
Drive through doesnt function right you would have to wait at least 15 -20 minutes before the car in front of you to move just one car
Incredibly rude person working at the photo desk. She seemed angry when I asked to have a passport photo taken and then angrily dragged a chair out. The person before me wasn’t asked to sit so I asked if I should sit and she curtly replied “that’s what it’s there for”. Probably not the right job for this person if a customer asking for a super standard Walgreens service is a huge inconvenience for them. Adding a star because the other staff are helpful.
Horrible staff and service. Dont bother to order your refill here - they wont start it until you show up 5 hours later to pick it up at the time you specified.
I tried this location after my previous pharmacy went out of my network.I will not be back. Some pharm techs are very difficult to understand. Today they told me a quite common pain medication is on back order. Save yourself the frustration and in my case pain and go somewhere else!
Now I was a person, he sold me something else and he is unfair, nor did I receive a receipt.
Careless and unprofessional service in their pharmacy. They messed up on an order and didnt seem compassionate they never said sorry. Pharmacy is too busy most of the time. Their pharmacy needs to be under review. They were still filling my orders after I had left. People need to look elsewhere. Im done and will never return to their pharmacy.
This store refused my sale. Will not be going back here and go here all the time. Will be calling corporate and letting them know that this store refuses people sales.
Extremely rude staff that likes to blame their incompetence on the customer.
Its 1pm, how about you get more than 1 cashier, or train them to call up someone.
I get my prescriptions from Walgreens regularly and never run into issues. However, this specific Walgreen’s Pharmacy location needs to be looked into. I called in my prescriptions over the phone and was assured that they would be ready in 30 minutes. I left work on my lunch break to ensure that I would get my prescriptions and be able to run back to work. Upon arrival at the Walgreens Pharmacy, I was rudely instructed that my order won’t be ready for ANOTHER 20 minutes. I have now been waiting here for almost an hour, further missing work at work and over-extending my lunch break at work. All because your staff is incompetent. The small lobby is packed with people who are having issues getting their prescriptions as well. Such a terrible look for such a large business. I vow to never return to this location until higher level management looks into the issues with this particular pharmacy location. The rest of the store seems to be fine.
Always the same issues with the same rude tech for the pharmacy. She is completely incompetent and does not know how to look up insurance or billing properly. This happens every time. Will be going to another pharmacy moving forward.
Their photo customer service is great. Had a bit of a delay and they went above and beyond to fix the issue today. The canvas print is beautiful too. I will definitely use them for prints in the future.
Worst Walgreen ever!!! The pharmacy is out of control, losing prescriptions!!
Normally good service but I don’t like that you say you have items in stock online at that location (night before) and I go there at open hours (7am) and it’s not there. None of the items were there.....
Came in for a vaccination, 30 minutes later still sitting here and no one has said anything. Completely not busy the first 25 minutes I sat here and now it is so who knows how much longer it will be. Why set up an appointment if you’re not going to honor the time?
The staff of this place and pharmacy is very badly educated, especially the cashier of the town center, this woman is despotic and does not serve the public, if they want to have better service and customer service they should fire her because it darkens and damages the image of that local
It is absolutely terrifying how inept the pharmacy staff at this location is. After stating I was there to pick up medication for my husband the pharmacist couldnt find it. I thought that was odd since theyd been calling nonstop to tell us it was ready for pickup. She asks the date of birth and phone number to look it up in the computer. After a moment she says oh, its for your dog.Nope. Dont have a dog. Already said it was for my husband and told her what medication it was. Yet she still tries to give me dog meds. So after waiting forever I still dont have my husbands medication. Seriously angry.
Horrible, incompetent people working at Photo lab.
Nothing but issues at this pharmacy! They can’t do their jobs and seem to take 20 minutes or more every time and the same woman gives me a different excuse every time! Won’t go back!
Will not be coming back, the boy that rang me up yesterday was incredibly rude, and did not listen after he asked if I wanted a bag and receipt, I said no to both and he threw my stuff into a bag, and then shoved the receipt across the counter. When I told him I didnt want it he told me to take it. When my card was in the reader he kept getting cranky telling me to hit yellow over and over, before it even prompted me to. I dont know whos training these kids in, but that child should not be helping customers. Unbelievably rude.
My prescription was sent over with no issues. Three days later, I still dont have my meds. They lost my prescription paperwork and couldnt figure out how to charge my insurance on their own. Im never using them again.
Rachel the pharmacist and tech Matt are just plain rude. They need a lesson on giving good customer service. Pharmacist hima is nice and does a very good job.
I have been going here for a few years because its close but I wonder why... this is not an exaggeration, I have never one time had things go smoothly! I will be going elsewhere. If your thinking they are close so it will save time, it wont unless you have a 30 min drive to the next pharmacy. This is as bad or worse than any place I have been, for any service and it is EVERY TIME! And they are rude when you ask basic questions such as how long will that take? (Pharmacy)
Its Walgreens
Very rude customer service. Will not be back.
Slowest pharmacy ever. Always a fight to get my medication. Since I have state insurance it seems like they get a pass to be rude to me for no reason. Drive through is the worst. You can sit and wait with one person in front of you for 15 minutes, then pull up to the window, and it’s another 10 minutes before anyone acknowledges you’re there to say “we will be with you shortly”. Another 10 minutes and they finally get to you. Staff is unprofessional and extremely rude. I’ve started sending my husband to pick up my meds because I just can’t deal with them anymore. The one time I asked for the manager and told her my concerns, she brushed them off and didn’t seem to care. If it’s an understaffing problem, they need to hire more people. The way I have been treated at this pharmacy is unacceptable. They’ve also lost my photo orders on more than one occasion.
Clean store and helpful staff. However, the cashier got flustered when I asked about my rewards balance and coupons and he just said redeem them online.
Put me on whole 4 times for at least 3-5 mins each time, when I asked whether my 2 prescriptions are corrected and ready to be picked up.Need to hire more people. I think they are handling the drive thru, the counters, and the phone. Overworked in my opinion. And, not friendly at all.Today is 11/1/2018,@ 8:40 pm when I called
If I could give zero star, I would so! They have a rude rude races worker name Karen. Shes impolite, has no manners and always got something smart to say. I am never going to this Walgreens ever again. I’ve encounter her many times and I’ve been patient and polite enough to her. SIDE NOTE: If you can’t have great customer service, this ain’t a job for you.
Poor customer service in the pharmacy but the other contents of the store are pretty good.
Horrible pharmacy! I have been given the wrong prescription, given a recall prescription, waitEd in like for 20min, was skipped in the drive through, and they forgot to fill my prescription for 3 days. They either need new staff or need to be shut down. I dont feel safe getting my meds here. I also dont pay all this money for my prescription to be treated poorly.
This Walgreens is decent. I wouldn’t give them a horrible rating like others, but I agree with the need to improve customer service related skills.
They go out of there way, love love this Walgreen’s
Awful! Photo center is nothing but a bunch of copyright fascists. My fiance and I sent photos (of which we own the rights) to this store to have them printed. SUE in the photo center refused to print them because they looked professional and they had to have permission to print them. She demanded we get something in writing from the photographer (how would she even verify that) that we could print them. There was no copyright symbol or watermark on these pictures. We own them. What a HORRIBLE headache! I will never use this Walgreens again!
No fuss, in and out store. Makeup, doggie treats, magazines Halloween costumes, candy.
Increasingly disappointed in this Walgreens which had been our pharmacy for a long long time. Wait times at the drive thru have gotten longer. Today I sat at the window and people scurried around inside the pharmacy ignoring my gaze. They could have just stopped for a second looked me in the eye and said theyd be with me in a moment. Nope. Nothing. Ignored. Seven minutes later........... Every time my husband picks up his Rx(s) they are a different cost. No one can tell him why. Today, because I screwed up, I needed 2 days worth of pills before my insurance will cover it --- in two days. No problem, they said I could get the two pills and pay out of pocket. $1.20 per pill = $2.40. Im happy to do that. I get there and it is $12. Its not the biggest thing in the world. I paid the $12 for 2 pills. What really annoys me is they can never, ever say why the price changes in two hours, or why its different for every monthly refill. It feels like 1) smoke and mirrors, 2) they dont seem to care what we think, 3) they have no idea and/or 4) they have us by the short hairs so what the heck. Toodles, Walgreens at the South East corner of Denmark Avenue and Town Center Drive. We voted with our feet.
My wife and I shop here all the time for the basics: makeup, occasional cleaning supplies, soaps, lotions, OTC drugs, birth control, etc. I cant complain there - its Walgreens, theyre all the same in my experience. My biggest complaint is about the pharmacy, as I get all my prescriptions filled there. I dont believe them when they say it will be ready in 30 minutes anymore. It usually takes a while, but pharmacies generally do. My advice: get their pharmacy text messaging service, give them your scrip, and then carry on with any other errands you may have knowing that sometime later youll have to return. Its not the most convenient, but with a little planning its not a huge deal. You just have to be smart about how to mitigate it. The general staff is a pretty nice bunch.
PHARMACY STAFF IS FAST AND KNOWLEDGEABLE!! LOVE STAFF! HAPPY HOLIDAYS!
Dont order photo here, I have photo orders sitting two weeks+ and no status from them. I called over and over and transfer multiple times, spoke to multiple assistant manager and nobody know anything. I got put on hold at least 10 mins while being transfer back and forth and no one is willing to help on my photo status. Who nows where the manager is, if he/she is every there. Photo personnel is always on break whether it is afternoon or evening. There is another Walgreen in Eagan, try that
Sometimes slow but always accurate.
Called in my prescription over the phone and when I went to pick it up it wasn’t ready even 5 hours after the time it was supposed to be. They are short staffed and were super slow getting everyone else through the line.
I go to this Walgreens almost everyday. They are quick, polite, straight to the point which is the way I like it. I worked in a pharmacy also so I understand that stuff happens, Dr. Doesnt call back to give you conformation or his dea number. They dont carry certain meds due to unpopularity, insurance companies are giving a customer the run around so you as an employee have to step in. (Which can take hours on the phone BTW). I get it. They seem very understaffed for a pharmacy, which is the companies fault not this store in perticular. There is no question why the pharmacy staff seems rushed or short, because they have to be. If they arent running around answering questions or ringing people out they are filling past due medications since they cant fill them when they are helping customers. So this review is for customers if you think meds can be filled in 10 minutes with one tech, while doing everything else, you should just get mail order meds. And no I am not associated with Walgreens on any affiliation. Im just an old tech who understands and quit being a tech for this very reason. This is a federal job. They have to do things by the book or risk getting sued or losing their license. Just a little insight for you the next time you go there.
The pharmacy is absolutely awful! I sat at the drive through for 10 mins before I was even said hi to. No apology for the wait or quick hi to let me know there was a wait. Then had to wait another 10 mins for my actual prescription to be given to me. All along the while the staff were being really short and rude. The staff needs education on how to present themselves to customers when theyre having a bad day. Also, it appears they need a class in common curtosy. Im done with this pharmacy, no one deserves your horrible service.
Nothing special, nothing bad either. This is just your run-of-the-mill big box Pharmacy
My only complaint is that I wish the pharmacy was open longer. Closing at 6 on weekends doesnt really make sense in 2013 (EDIT: or 2016). I would switch to a 24-hour pharmacy, but there arent any in Eagan (or neighboring cities) for some reason.
Its close, good services. I have used it for more than 15 years.
Pharmacy staff is extremely unhelpful and unfriendly. They get mad when you ask them to call your doctor or renew a prescription. They say theyre going to do something and they dont or they forget. A very unorganized staff. Looking for a new pharmacy I can go to
I literally HATE this pharmacy. I dont have time to go into the hundreds of reasons why--itd take me all day. We have more problems with prescriptions being delayed or medication being unavailable, or they say its ready for pick up but when we get there, its not. Or I get a phone call saying things are delayed and they are waiting for a doctor approval (this happens almost every single time with a brand new prescription where they just got the fax from the doctors office) and we call to find out its being filled and they dont know why we got those messages. We get told insurance doesnt cover it, then it does when they double check. The customer service here is THE WORST I have ever encountered--I mean like mind-blowing-blood-pressure-sky-high bad. One time my husband waited in line for over 20 minutes while the cashier chatted away (non-pharmacy related conversation), with the long line of people in full view, and then told him the pharmacy was closed (after getting there 20 minutes prior to closing time). The ONLY reason we have stayed this long is because its the closest pharmacy to us and has a drive through. Weve finally hit our limit and are changing to another pharmacy entirely.
I will never, ever attempt to fill a prescription here again. The most frustrating, incompetent experience I ever encountered.
Pharmacy is regularly understaffed, resulting in long lines and unhappy staff. I came to the pharmacy right after a visit to the doctors office with my infant daughter. The pharmacy tech seemed offended that I would dare to come so soon and snapped that it would be at least a half hour to fill the prescription (for my poor baby with an ear infection). I will not be returning.
Always been great for me
Everythings always great!
Pharmacy staff was pretty good, the wait time tho in the drive thru is kinda ridiculous. . Also who in 2016 in a city the size of Eagan has a pharmacy that closes at 6 pm??????!?!?!?!?
A typical walgreens with not the best staff.
Typical Walgreens. The only problem with this one is that the bathroom looks like it hasnt been cleaned in months.
Consistently inconsistent and painfully inept
Lost my prescription. Almost seemed like they straight up just dont want to give people the medicine they need...
Store itself is OK.. Pharmacy terrible always Long lines:
The pharmacy staff is very slow, they never have my prescriptions ready and never apologize for the wait.
Theyre not hopefull
Abraham (I believe his name was) was exceptionally nice and helpful. He truly made our experience great.
