And very reasonably priced for the quality and service they provide. Priced about the same as your cheap shops but go further to make sure problem is fixed

Rick, owner, has always taken care of our cars and has been welcoming, answering questions and has great follow though. He gives great advice on what we should do with our cars. We trust his advice. We recently bought a used car and his team checked it out and solidified our thoughts on buying it. Auto Performance is our go to car repair and advice and always will. I found a screw in my tire and I was driving down the road and saw that the shop was open. I walked in and spoke with the owner and he had me repaired and on the road under 10 minutes. They do custom car work as well as whatever it is you may need fixed. Very friendly shop with excellent service.

A professional job for fair pricing. Very Kind and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be back if I have anymore needs. I wasn’t too excited about needing my entire A/C unit replaced but it was done well and when a small issue came up later on, I was able to take it back in and get it fixed same day. Normally I dont write bad reviews on services unfortunately this is 1 I have had four cars worked on by this company spent close to $10,000 in repairs that were not successful I will send my car to have it specifically repaired for something just to find out or have more things broken after receiving the car back every car that I have pulled out of the lot has not made it back to my home at all me having 20 plus years of automotive manufacturing experience and coming from a bloodline of mechanics and engineers this would be one of the situations we will call this company rip off mechanic

I went to them for a 2016 BMW 428ix that I just purchased. I needed new tires and Discount Auto couldn’t replace them because they couldn’t get the bolts off. Went to Ricks mechanic and he jwas so good he took them off in less than ten mins! I highly recommend these guys. Rick has a solid good heart. I can tell by the short conversation I had with him. Great company and service! They will be my new mechanic shop for my car.

Having to choose a repair shop without prior experience with any in this area was a little stressing since Ive had a bad experience or two in the past in this regard. I was helped by others reviews to this shop and am glad for it. Rick seems to have a passion for the work. My vehicles performance is better now then when I purchased it (used). Rick is personable, knowledgeable and my go to place going forward.

This place is dishonest. They pay for good reviews while burying the truth from their bad ones. They are auto performers and customize the bait and switch rip off scam!! Dont buy it.

Historically, I have terrible luck every time I bring my BMW to a shop, mechanics tend to have a hard time fixing its issues. I end up leaving with a huge bill, and making multiple trips back for the same problem. I brought my car to Rick and his crew the other day with a long list of problems. Within a few hours they had diagnosed the issue, but also traced back to the root cause (not just what they could easily see on the surface). The next day they took my car for a long ride, found an additional issue, and in quick order found the part several miles away, got it into the car and had it ready for the time they had promised me. They even brought the car to my husbands work a few miles away, despite how busy they were and the million things they had to fix on my car. Rick tried to save me money and discount services through the whole process. They diagnosed where the issues actually started and saved me multiple trips to correct them. I am happy to say my car is running great, better than it has in a long time. Very happy with the service they provided and will go back when I need additional work on my car.

We have used Auto Performance Repair and Customs a couple of different times. I cannot say enough about Rick Hagan and his team about the great job they do. You will not find a more honest owner and manager as Rick. He works hard with extended warranty and insurance companies to ensure that customers are getting the best parts at the most reasonable cost. Rick will often try to bundle different repairs/services to get the customer the most bang for the buck. I have to say I appreciate Rick and his team for ensuring needed repairs are completed. An example is we just brought our van in for a noise. It was determined the A/C compressor was bad. While repairing this, it was discovered the water pump was going bad. Ricks team did a great job with the repairs. However, while they were test driving the van after these repairs, another noise was heard. Rick had his team locate the source of the noise. Turns out it was a flex plate or flywheel with multiple hairline cracks. Had Rick not taken the extra time to locate the source of the noise and replaced the flex plate, we could of had major damage to the engine and transmission. I will not consider using any other shop for vehicle repairs. I highly recommend Auto Performance Repair and Customs to anybody looking for repairs where they can count on honesty and straight forward repair assessments.

We brought several of our vehicles, both personal and company, to Auto Performance during the 2017/2018 timeframe. Everything was stellar for a while. Rick and his team were professional, punctual, and very accommodating. We started to notice small issues, and Ricks response was that of understanding, and he encouraged us to bring the vehicles back and he would make sure they are addressed properly. One personal vehicle became quite an issue, and I eventually had to work an agreement out to cut the project short due to workmanship/timing concerns. I later found out that there was a short-term issue with an employee, and Rick had to rectify this with several customers at his own expense during that short time period.I did not know the extent of the issues on my own vehicle until I decided to do a full teardown and restoration in my garage, at which point we uncovered a major, costly problem. I was hesitant to bring it up to Rick, given the length of time between when it was at his shop and the time we discovered the root issues. But, Rick had always been very professional, and having spent a good bit of time in the shop, I had seen he and his other employees work with many customers in a very responsible manner. I called Rick, explained what had happened, he gave me details on what happened on his end, and offered to help with the situation, which he certainly has.Rick and Auto Performance have an extremely high rating on every review website they are on. Even the best shop is going to have an issue now and then, and when they do it becomes a matter of how you address them. Its rare that companies have that level of integrity in this day and age.

My steering wheel was having an awful clicking noise, with excessive shaking over small bumps in the road. Turned out to be the coupler in my steering column. The dealership wanted to charge me $365. I called around and found this place. Rick was super honest and fair. Long story short, they replaced it at a fraction of the cost I was originally quoted! Ive known Rick for a few years, and know him to be a fine Christian businessman. This was my first trip to his new automotive shop, and now I also appreciate him and his team for outstanding car care.When I walked into the entrance, I was immediately struck by how spotlessly clean the welcoming/waiting area is kept. No grease here! And after all the repairs were completed, I could immediately feel new pep and smoothness in the drive. Rick is very nice person. I highly recommend this place for any mechanic issue. He fixed it in a timely manner. He worked with me on my schedule and made sure it was done in time. Some parts will have a warranty. This place is 1 hr from me but I will be back for any problem I have with any of my vehicles.

My second visit was as good as the first. I had relatives visiting from out of the country and my truck developed a labored cranking problem. I came in with a perceived starter issue which, when they diagnosed the truck, they confirmed that was the issue. Rick quoted me a price for the work ordered the part(s) and had me back in my truck within less than 24 hrs, of which most was the time it took to get the part(s) overnight. Honesty and integrity is always nice to deal with.

Auto Performance has great customer service. They were quick in getting prices on parts and were able to locate a wide variety of what I needed. The mechanics and service center is also excellent regarding customer service, price, and fixing the problem the first time. The hours of operation are also customer centered. Rick and I had some miscommunications and at first I thought he was trying to take advantage. Come to find out he is a good man with good intentions, and goes out of his way to accommodate your needs. He does excellent work on older classics and will above and beyond to work with you. 100% satisfied with my experience at his shop.

Rick, owner, will now be my business number one go to for mechanical needs. I was quoted 550 dollars, 880 dollars and 440 dollars to have the leak on one of the work trucks transmission repaired. I have a basic knowledge of automobiles, transmissions etc so I knew it wasnt a big deal to repair. I left a message on his voicemail and he called me back within the hour and quoted me around 150. This man is honest! With mechanics, it is HARD TO FIND THAT! I couldve just as easily walked into easley transmission and paid that man 550 bucks plus taxes to do a repair that only took an hour and 10 minutes and it wouldve been drug out to taking days to repair with them. Give Rick a chance! You will be pleased! And second of all, every good business has their bad reviews! Dont go upon the bad ones you see on his profile unless you know the whole story of both the reviewer and the reviewee.

This is the BEST car shop! They went out of their way to tow my car all the way from Georgia (an hour and a half away from the shop). All of the guys there are really nice and are great at what they do. They even stayed late on a Saturday to finish fixing my car. They provide quality work at AMAZING prices. I noticed my friends air pressure was low in the tire. No tire gauge we had worked so we went here last minute, it turned out there was about a 2 inch screw stuck in the tire. They fixed it and sent us on our way! Very good service!

What happened to honest, hardworking and truthful businesses? This place is the epitome of the bait and switch manipulation and everything thats wrong with dishonest (to say the least) mechanics. The owner did not honor his word and defrauded me financially, more than once in trying to correct the situation/s. Im not sure how he has all these five star reviews especially considering his flagrant disregard.. Believe the few bad ones on here they are telling the truth. I will prove and elaborate further and am working on the paperwork now. Also, I will report him to the BBB and look into further action for compensation for the rest of the monies. If anyone wants to contact me I can provide the proof, although Im a person of my word and character. If I help even just one person in writing this review its well worth it.

I brought my car to Auto Performance based on Google reviews. I had a bad experience at a local dealership and was looking for a shop that would tell it to me straight, do good work and charge an honest price. Auto Performance checks all three boxes. I needed a routine checkup and Rick, the manager, took the time to talk me through their diagnostic process. He showed me on the computer what they checked for and when I did need something serviced, he gave me various options would thorough explanations on detail and pricing. You can tell they take great pride in their work and genuinely enjoy what they do—at no point did I feel upsold or in the weeds or like I was a nuisance. The repairs were wonderful and now I have a shop I can trust, which is no small thing. Highly recommended.

Excellent service...This was the 4th place I went to in the City of Easley on Saturday to try and find someone to repair a flat tire. I stopped and he got me in and out within 30 minutes. I was very appreciative of the service that I received and will be going back to take my other vehicle for service.

Four things needed, front disc brakes, rear shocks, new windshield motor and driver door trim. Breaks did not work well, windshield washer did not work, door not touched, rear shocks ok. My wife and I had just moved from out-of-state and arrived into town Saturday afternoon. We hit a bad pothole on I-85 and had front suspension damage. We stopped at Auto Performance because they were the only shop we could find that was open. Even though the staff was ready to close up, one of the mechanics and the manager, Rick, offered to stay late and try to get the parts and repair my work truck so I could have it to start my new job Monday morning. They probably dont want me to make it sound like they do this every weekend, but I wanted to tell the world that these guys worked late night Saturday and part of Sunday even though they were closed, in order to get me to work Monday. They saved my ass! And the total bill was Still hundreds less than it would have been somewhere else, and it was done right! I recommend these guys to anyone!

I rated Auto Performance on surecritic, but I felt compelled to do so on google as well when I saw that someone had given him a 1*.Rick, the owner and operator of Auto Performance repair and custom tries to be as transparent as he can possibly be, he is one of the few people who separate parts and labor on an invoice, if you do not trust him he wont show you some broken part out of a box, he will take you to your car and show you where the problems are and let you know why you must fix it. He will not make a sales pitch trying to scare you into a fix, he will offer rational reasoning. Auto Performance tries to quote accurately and stand behind it.Google reviews are great as they act as a litmus test of a shops trustworthiness before you get your vehicle serviced but it is not an end all be all meter to the character of a shop because if it was, a one star would not exist on here.If you feel your parents (or yourself, or your girlfriend...etc) got unfairly taken, I ask you to go to the shop. Rick will not provide you with fake charm to change your opinion, he will not intimidate you, he will provide honest answers to honest questions.Needing to get your car repaired isnt a 5* experience, it is stressful, it is expensive, and it isnt always done correctly the first time. So the top characteristics people should look for is someone with 5* experience and 5* integrity. Look no further than this shop, if you doubt me.....just go in and meet the man behind the counter before you call bologne.

If it was possible to give zero stars I would. My parents took their car to be worked on to this shop and I will not go into details, but it was a complete disaster! And this guy even had the audacity to tell my mother that he did her a favor! My parents asked me to not write this review on their behalf, because them being the good christian people that they are knew God would deal with this man. As for myself, I just can not stomach thinking that people like my parents, good people, will take their car to this place and trust this man...DONT!!!
