We made an appointment to bring our car. 3 times they called to confirm which we did, sent numerous txts and when we arrived the agent was eating dinner and we had to wait for him to finish-red flag. He went to inspect our car (we didn’t go with him-big mistake), he came back and gave us the price which we didn’t agree to and we left. When we got to the cat the engine light was on. When we confronted the agent he told Justin and us that it was on when he got to the car-big lie. He would not have given us that price if the engine light was on. They couldn’t come up with the solution and since the car was still drivable and it was not too far from our house we left. We will never recommend this place to anyone.

I found this place online and it is conveniently located less than a few miles from my home! I made an appointment and drove my car over. It is an older car with some mechanical issues. I was originally thinking to donate it but without being able to use the tax deduction I decided to explore other options. Robert looked over the car and made me an offer. It was less than what I was expecting but after explaining what another online place offered, we agreed on a price. The entire transaction took less than an hour! I highly recommend this option when it comes to selling a car. It was an unexpectedly pleasant experience!

I went online to get the value of my car and was informed that I would get $1500; nowhere near what the blue Book value was but I didnt want to be bothered selling it privately. I called this dealer to ask about the $1500 and whoever I talked to said that that was the starting price and it could go up from there depending on the condition of the car. When I got there, after all the inspections, they offered me $700 which I refused. They came back with a price of $1200. Come on! a $ 500 increase? They were not honest with me and I dont like any dealer who does that. Yes, I could have walked away but I had driven almost an hour to get there and had to inconvenience a friend to come with me to take me back home and didnt want to be bothered starting over with someone else. I know these types of guys are in the business to make money but they did not give me an honest appraisal. Beware that they will not give you what they promise and then try to scam you into taking less.

So we decided to sell our 2010 Dodge Challenger with 50K miles on it. After researching Webuyanycar.com I made an appointment. I met with Justin in New Brunswick NJ and began the process selling my car. Justin was very professional and explained everything to me as we went thru the process. Now I have read online reviews that the online evaluation was almost always higher than once they get you in the office. This was not the case. Justin made me an offer on my car and after a little while I accepted and sold my car. If in the future I want to sell another car I would search out Justin again to help me. If I have to give one negative it would be directed at the company, Not Justin. When the paperwork was complete and I was handed my check I was nervous because what to do with the check. If you cash it at a Wells Fargo bank and are not a customer they will only cash 5k, so this was not an option. I decided to deposit it that night at my bank. What I didnt realize is Bank of America put a 7 business day hold on the check. This could create an issue if I you had already signed for a new car or needed the money right away. In the future I would hope that Webuyanycar.com would use Electronic fund transfers like other companies use. In all this is my only complaint and Thank you Justin for making my experience a great one.
