Got a hot green tea drink and they didn’t give me a sleeve so I just reached behind to grab one bc I didn’t wanna disturb the busy workers and some girl with curly, short dark hair with blonde money pieces in the front runs over, rips it out of my hand, and goes “um ma’am there behind here for a reason” then throws it away in front of me? Lol what? If there behind for a reason then put it on my cup in the first place. Your ego is showing and it’s embarrassing. It’s a sleeve and it’s not that deep. This is coming from someone who works in the restaurant industry.

Our first time visiting this warm, pleasant & charming coffee establishment. I have to say, we were really impressed. In the past Ive avoided Starbucks due to their overly liberal views as a corporation and their coffee just ok. However, they were only one of a couple coffee shops open past 9:00 pm in Lansing. It looked inviting from the outside and met our expectations once inside. Very friendly staff along with several coffee choices to choose from. The real kicker was the Hawaiian Kau coffee ground and brewed via the clover method. Ive never heard of this type of brew. I have to say its the best coffee experience Ive had to date! Amazing... The reason for four stars instead of 5 is the bathrooms were a mess. Im picking about clean restrooms especially considering the place wasnt busy.

I literally walked through town catching Pokémon and with open arms the staff let me sit in the public area, not even ordering anything and honestly I fell asleep at the table and was undisturbed as my phone charged and took a somewhat embarrassing public cat nap. You would not get service like this on campus whatsoever. Its an absolute monopoly. Walk the extra block, it is worth it.

They never have food. Like what are you guys doing in there? This is the worst star bucks I’ve ever been to. Other places always have food ready. I assume they just don’t make the food and just don’t care.Get it together manager of this place. During normal days, everything is great. however, for the last month or so I made 3 stops on different days for a Carmel Ribbon Crunch Frappuchino and they were out of some of the ingredients. is there a way you could let people know about the shortage before they wait a long time in the drive-thru?

Love their service here. However a few times Ive come through the drive through close to 10 pm and they are completely closed with no signs or anything to say that they closed early. I have asked about it and they said it was because of staffing issues. So... while their service is amazing they are not always reliable to be open when Im heading to work. Also during the day this location gets CRAZY busy. Like the line had gone all the way to Grand River multiple times. Good coffee tho cant complain 😊

They were out of something that I ordered through the app so they gave me a refund and replaced the item with something similar!! They were so kind and had great quick service.

This is a Starbucks. If you’ve been to Starbucks before you know what to expect. If you haven’t, then I really recommend their shrimp and garlic pizza and American IPA.

Unless you have at least 20 minutes to spare do not go to the drive thru. I have waited in this line for over thirty-five minutes easily. If you are on the way to work or classes do not go unless you want to be late. Of course great drinks, but only go when you have nothing going on.

I only had 🌟 bucks one other time this time was a bit better but Im a biggby fan. The service was great and the hot chocolate was amazing for my children shes a 🌟 bucks fan now but overall good place. Just wish 🌟 bucks would support our troops when they asked for some coffee from this company. After 9/11 really the only reason y I havent been back but after 19years Ive try it 1 more time. I give a 4 🌟 because of not helping our troops out when there fight for our freedom. This location didnt have anything to do with it just the ceo of the company.

It seemed like I waited awhile to just get into the line for the drive-thru. The parking lot is not set up to have more than 5-7 cars waiting to order. There were cars waiting to turn left into the parking lot that were blocking regular traffic.The team members who took my order and payment seemed bright and cheerful. The order was correct. For people waiting to turn in to the Starbucks parking lot: DO NOT block traffic! Please and thank you.

They do not fill up my venti hot drink all the way ever. I ask no foam, but that does not mean leave a ton of space. I am paying for a full cup and that should be what I’m given!

Delicious drinks and other items, always helpful service. Definitely stop by for the iced/blended coffee in the summer when its available. The iced chai Lotte frappe is one of the best drinks available.

After five years of living around here I finally stopped in! I never had before because of all the students and no parking. Since the students are gone because of COV19, I figured- why not stop? What a great place! Clean, friendly and good drinks!

The girl at the window was asking if I wanted cream in my iced coffee since their nitro machine wasn’t working. I didn’t get it. Got interrupted while trying to order milk and said “okay great see you at the window.” I had to get my cream on the side. Out of the spinach feta wrap. I finally got my iced coffee so I can’t complain.

There is a high coincidence that my credit card info was compromised and that this Starbucks is temporarily closed this fall. No way, it cant be! So they probably just ran out of coffee and are not being investigated for their credit card fraud/handling practices. Corporate gets five stars for being indifferent towards customer complaints.

AVOID THIS LOCATION AT ALL COSTS! this is nothing against the staff, theyve been nothing but lovely. The parking lot/drive through is incredibly poorly laid out. The line usually starts where the parking spots are instead of in the specified drive through lane, so you cant park to avoid the line or pick up an online order. If you must go your best bet is to park in a neighboring lot.

Today, 7/19/19, as I was going thru the drive through to order my favorite Starbucks sandwich, an employee by the name of Chase made my day! Very sweet and funny, the best kind of employee any business could hire! Good luck with your adventures, Chase! Maybe our paths will cross again some day!

You know what would be nice? If when you ordered for-here you got a ceramic mug or cup like the ones in the promo pics. Its NBD, but Id like to hold a warm mug with my hands or have my ice cubes clink against the sides of my glass.

This is a very busy Starbucks. There is a limited amount of parking and always a line at the drive-thru. However, it is worth the wait if youre a fan of their coffee. The prices are moderately high but if youve been to a Starbucks you know what to expect. When I have been there the staff has always been fast and efficient and very friendly and accommodating. If you got the Java Jones its well worth the wait.

My least favorite Starbucks. You cant ever taste the expresso in your drink when you come here. I go out of my way to go to the Starbucks in Target. Youll get a better drink there.

The manager was extremely attentive and genuine. When handing me my drink, he made sure to stop himself for a moment and make sure I knew he wanted me to have a nice day. Great service! Ive been here before and also love the atmosphere inside.

The design of the drive through is fantastic. It can be entered by 2 ways which means you got two lines merging into the drive though sometime. Plus there is a parking making the traffic worse.. never met this kind of brilliant design before..

They have at least a 30 minute wait and if ur mobile order says ready, its not it just says on the app it is

This Starbuckss been my favorite place to study for the past three years. The staff at that time were so friendly and respectful. This not true now though. Today one of the new workers started to make fun of my accent Im international student because I complained about waiting for more than 10 minutes to get my drink! I never felt so embarrassed in my life before as in this time. Hope that the management be more careful with choosing new workers more international friendly .

Arrived at 7:10 and was in line almost 35 minutes. Out of cold brew at 7:10 in the morning. Filled my wifes caramel macchiato 3/4 of the cup with milk. Forgot our food and had to remind them. Then they informed us they were out of the Danish my wife wanted.

An outstanding establishment with great customer service and on top of that, the manager runs this coffee shop phenomenally. The wait time is kept to a minimum, and thats coming from someone who wants their coffee quickly and is impatient in the morning. The coffee is fresh, strong, and there isnt a better coffee shop in town than this Starbucks. Thank you guys for an amazingly unique experience :)

They make great drinks and have a great staff (best in the area). It IS always busy in the school year and the parking is LIMITED/congested. TIPS: Dont park in neighboring lots, you will probably get a ticket. Park on the road (Stoddard), you can park for several blocks for free.

I realize this is a busy location. However, I dont believe it should be an excuse for errors. I prefer almond milk, order with almond milk, pay for almond milk. The last 3 visits I have NOT received almond milk. I am not truly allergic, but definitely sensitive, and quite dissatisfied. 😔

Good service! Its a standard, good Starbucks, but its always really busy here. It can be difficult or even impossible to find a seat, especially on schoolday evenings and all day Sunday. The staff is polite and reasonably fast with orders, though, so if you can find a spot (if you want to have your coffee in the shop), its a good place to go!

Coffee was good, however, the cleanliness of the store was not good. They had nat flies in the food case. Milk containers in the sink that Nat flies were buzzing around. My wife and I are Starbucks lovers but they need to keep things clean. Everyone had bad days and they have a lot of clients but my wife was a former Barista and was not impressed with the conditions that were taking place. We will be back and hopefully changes will take place, otherwise we will not go back to that location. Keep in mind we love Starbucks coffee.

Went through the drive thru and asked the baristas for two surprise me drinks in size Arianna Grande. Needless to say me and the person with me were NOT disappointed. I also think those Baristas will never say Grande the same way again

Okay this starbucks location is not that bad!! They are always Very busy! They are usually out of some food. they get alot of mobile orders and cars wrapped around the building plus alot of people in line and what not maybe thats why it seems like it takes forever. Handcrafted drinks take time to make, this isnt mcdonalds or fast food where everything is pre-made and ready to just put into a cup they actually have to take the time to make it so if you dont have proper time to wait you probably should have just stopped at a gas station or mcd or something, not sorry.also, Ive had my fair share of weird experiences here also but I learned early on not to come here if I am in any kind of rush. This place can be a nice place to study. parking is a nightmare most times of the day. Ive definitely had my drink made wrong but its always been fixed right away.

I love Starbucks but this location is the worst by far. They never get my drink right and I have been handed the wrong thing out the drive through window too many times. Ill be making the trek to the other locations just so I don’t have to go here. If I’m paying $7 bucks for a latte the least they can do is make it right.

I will start this review by stating I myself have worked at Starbucks, in Washington state where the original one is. This location has been going down hill for a while, several employees have come and gone. 9 times out of 10 my drink is wrong, when the store runs out of items they do not mark it out on there registers like they are supposed too so a mobile order does not request an item when they do not have it. The staff is rude, particularly 1 female barista. I watched her stand there right in front of a customer who was upset and tell everyone else that she was disrespected and couldnt believe someone would talk to her that way, meanwhile the person next to me waited 25 minutes for a mobile drip coffee order. When someone is paying 5 to 7 dollars for a drink, you get paid to make it correct. I have only had 1 person greet me by name, when you are a regular customer, the barista is supposed to remember your name, it is part of their job.

Typical Starbucks. Its usually pretty busy with limited parking. Theres a good amount of outdoor seating. A lot of people bring food from neighboring restaurants to eat outside.

My husband and I LOVE this Starbucks. Our issue is we can NEVER get to it due to the way the parking lot is set up. We typically end up driving 20 minutes to the south end of town because they are the only other Starbucks in town with decent service.

20 mins in drive thru, 10 mins at the window for 2 simple drinks, they DESTROYED a trap so bad, in drinkable, melted, in 2 cups. Terrible Batistas

Unfortunately the drive through is very poorly designed as the line forms from two directions with one path which should be one way. Thus, drivers who are waiting in line in an orderly fashion can be made to wait long periods of time as other drivers enter the line through the west parking are effectively taking cuts and forcing lines out to grandriver. For a drive through I would instead recommend the Starbucks on jolly or the walk in Starbucks farther west on grand river. Sad situation with this drive through design.

I come here usually for studying after class. The service here is usually good and people are generally nice. However, today I got a bad service. I was waiting for 15 minutes for my drink, not because they were busy or something, because people ordering long after me got their drink first. I stood there, waiting for my drink and nobody asked me if I received my drink or not. Finally I asked a barista if she made it yet and she said she would make it for me. She handed the drink for me with no sorry or explanation. Great.

The baristas at this Starbucks are always really nice and the drinks are almost never made wrong. The only thing that keeps it from a 5 star rating is their drive thru/parking lot. It is an absolute disaster. Its not even worth parking and going in because youll never be able to back out with the line that wraps around and extends into the side street. That whole setup needs to be rethought

Nearly impossible to find a parking space and the drive through lane is terrible. Nobody can tell where the line is supposed to go so the lot ends up being a jumble of cars when they get slightly busy. Tried it a few times, the coffee is fine but its not worth the hassle unless theres nobody there.

The staff, the environment, and of course the coffee is the best! If you havent tried a new Clover Reserve coffee, youre missing out! Starbucks gets small batch coffees and brews them using the Clover method, which is kind of like a pour over/Chemex/drip machine in one. Every so often they switch the coffees up so that you arent always drinking the same. I wish every Starbucks location had the Clover machines!

Im coffee dumb and walked in with my two monster kids, in a hurry for something cafinated and tasty. With minimal background info and creative license granted to the friendly barista, Im and now sipping on something I still dont know the name of but its delicious.

This is a good Starbucks but it is very crowded. Parking and even getting a seat can be a challenge. Tends to be a little messy for the same reason. Chairs are very comfy and there is plenty of seating except for the fact that it is full oftentimes with MSU students. Probably not a bad place to go when MSU students are gone on break!

Nice staff, but understaffed at all times. I will go out of way to the Jolly/Okemos drive-thru before coming here. If there are any cars online, its a 10 minute wait MINIMUM.They should not allow cars to enter the drive-thru from the west. Its basically regulars and students trying to cut the line and acting like theyre surprised when customers whove been in line are angry at their entitled behavior.The staff tries hard to make up for what they cant control, but overall its not a pleasurable experience.

There are flies in the dessert display! They took dessert right from there! I reminded them last time when I came here, the waiter didn’t do anything after I made the suggestion! Today I came back again, there are still flies in there! It’s very disappointing when you reminded them but there still a problem and it is sanitary problem! Huhhhh..

We went to this Starbucks this morning at the drive through. Arrived at 10:05, left at at 10:34 wasnt even close to our order being taken, left with out drinks. This Starbucks is always busy and slow. Intercom system doesnt work very well either. Slow, slow, slow, slow. Way to slow.

DRIVE TO ANY OTHER LOCATION. This is the worst location by far. I will drive to the okemos Starbucks drive thru to avoid this one. Staff is rude and not trained. My drink is made wrong 100% of the time. This location has been going down hill fast in the last year. Sad.

The 2 stars are for the drinks and the employees. They are exactly what you expect at any busy Starbucks.However, I will never return to this particular location. Finding a parking spot is next to impossible. After finally accomplishing that, good luck finding a table not occupied by an obnoxious undergrad taking up way too much space! But I love my Starbucks coffee, so I make it work.I walk out of the building happy with my purchase, but by the time I drive away from the building, Im frustrated and angry because the parking lot is absolutely atrocious. The people going through the drive-through are rude; they block the exit and dont let parked cars leave. This series of frustrating events has happened all three times Ive been to this location. Its not worth it; Ill go to the on-campus location even though I cant use Starbucks cards there.

Convenient stop on my bike. They rinse and fill my water bottles in addition to having great coffees and service. Almost always lots of young people using the wifi and congregating.

There isnt enough parking. There are two entrances but they are only wide enough to accommodate one vehicle, so people end up awkwardly backing up trying to turn around when the parking lot is full and someone has entered the other entrance going the opposite direction...

Just another basic Starbucks running the local coffee shops outta town. Dont waste your time or money on their gross, overpriced coffee.

Mediocre parking, good customer service, comfortable treatment. Youll find most of anything for your coffee/tea needs here.Be it a choca mocha, or an earl grey. The parking can be pretty tough, but at least its free.

I had a phenomenal experience there yesterday. I dont want to reduce this to one experience but when I pulled up in my unusually pink company (Pink Inc.) Yukon, multiple people came across the speaker to take my order. We had a good laugh about it as they exclaimed, we all wanted to talk to who was in this pink truck. We continued our fun exchange up to the time at the window. At the end of it, they thanked me for being awesome, wrote it on my cup, and gave it to me for free. This is just one of those little things in the service world that shines during what might otherwise be a mundane day at best. If youre reading this, I really appreciate you ladies! #LittleSurprises
