Absolute best experience at Visionworks of Easton PA. The staff are wonderful, professional, and kind. From the exams, to the consultation with the optometrist and eye doctor, to the choosing of the eye glasses (there is a large selection to choose from), to all the employees, outstanding experience. Look forward to bringing my son and husband here too.
I had such a great experience going to pick out glasses. It was a ton of fun and the customer service was excellent. I was impressed with how helpful and understanding the girl was who helped me try on my new-to-be glasses. She even guided me through looking at different options and pairs until I found the one I was most comfortable in. I was surprised by how patient she was when I had a ton of different questions. Im so thankful that she even gave me tips on the best pair of frames for the lenses I needed since I have a special prescription.
My daughter had an exam, we decided to try contacts for her because she plays high school sports. We scheduled the exam and the Dr. was great. She asked lots of questions to guide us to the right option. We then went to see Ginger in the lobby, I can only say Wow! This young lady ensured my daughter she would help her all through her new contact experience. Because sports were happening, she actually scheduled an appointment on a day they typically don’t to show her how to put them in and take them out. Unfortunately, my daughter couldn’t get it the 1st class. She did it again! She scheduled a time within 10 days to try again, giving my daughter a lot of tips to practice before returning. This lady went out of her way to make sure we were Beto down satisfied! She made sure my daughter could do it and now my daughter can actually see the ball vs a blur and a general direction. Ginger, thank you so much! You made her year! And, made me a happy father. You will get my family’s business forever! Thank you!
Ginger was outstanding and very helpful from the moment we walked in to the office. Our 11 year old was hesitant to pick certain frames and she and the other staff members walked around with him, helping him try different frames, till he was satisfied with what he picked. She asked him again and again, if he was happy.My appointment was not until 2 hours later but she requested the doctor if I could be seen earlier and the doctor obliged. We all had a great experience with Dr. Jallim. She was very thorough in her exam.Ginger then worked with us to make sure that all our frames and lenses were covered with the insurance. Everyone was very pleasant and genuinely helpful. This was one of the best experiences we had at an eye clinic.
I went to get my new glasses after I gave birth (and because my yearly eye exam was overdue), and I had a wonderful experience dealing with Vanessa, Nina, and Brittney. They were courteous, professional, and personable from the moment I walked in. From talking about our dogs to how crazy the weather has been, and from giving me great pointers in choosing my new glasses, my experience was amazing and I couldnt thank them enough. You ladies rock!!!
I have never had issues with the actual doctors here. But today, I left my appointment and cried in my car for 15 minutes because the rest of the staff were so condescending and unhelpful. I had made a follow up appointment after a routine check because I was having issues with my contacts. When I got there, I was questioned about the details of my issues. After explaining as best as I could, the woman started telling the receptionist that I should be charged for an eye exam and a contact check AND an office visit, totalling almost $200. When I asked them why I had to be charged for that many things, they explained that because I had not acted in a timely manner, I had to be charged for a whole new exam. When I explained that I called as soon as I experienced problems with my contacts but couldnt get an appointment right away, she continued to very curtly explain that I waited too long. I did my best to explain that $200 plus contacts was too much for to me to handle at once. The second woman came and told me that she had called me the day before and explained to me that if I had answered my phone I would know what to expect. I tried to defend myself then, but she turned her back to me and walked away. There were so many other things that happened throughout the visit, but suffice it to say that I have never been treated like that before in a doctors office. On top of their rudeness to me, they were also making fun of other customers quietly in the corner while I was waiting to be seen. They made me feel like an idiot. Save your time and money and find a more quality place who know how to be kind to people.
From the moment I came in, I knew that it was gonna be a good visit. From the person to initially received me to Vanessa who help me choose my glasses, the entire experience was exceptional.

It was a great experience. Did the teledoc appt. (the doctor is connected through technology, not physically on property) and it went very well. A little odd at first but technology and exam was just like they were right in room with you. And out front Vanessa did a outstanding job of setting me up with great looking pair of frames. Had new glasses inside of a week. Great experience.

I never write reviews but this is the worst experience ever. The Dr sat around talking constantly with coworkers and everyone waited for almost 2 hrs just to be seen. It’s absolutely the worst place of business, let alone a drs I’ve ever experienced.
Vanessa was extremely helpful in not only being honest in helping me to select my frames, but in helping me to get the best deal! Also, Dr. Jallim was very thorough and showed genuine concern.
My glasses came in early which was great! The staff is so nice and helpful. I will tell my friends they should go to this location because everything was wonderful, from the exam to picking out frames and picking up the glasses. Great customer service!!!

This place is a compleat joke. Its been 2 weeks since my eye exam and Im still waiting on trial contacts when I was told they would take 7 days. Been calling every day since the 7 days were up and at the 2 week mark they decide to tell me they were back ordered and had to be re ordered from somewhere else so it will be another 7-10 days before I even get the TRIALS... This is something that they normal have in stock and get shipments every day. Seems to me like they forgot to order my trials and no one decided to check until 2 weeks later.. Im a CDL driver and need these for work. By the looks of the reviews Im not the only one that has issues with this place so its pretty safe to say I will not be going back.
What horrible customer service ! I had an appointment scheduled 2 weeks ago at 5:20 on 1/4/21. I was getting text messages a couple of days to remind me of my appointment and welcoming me. Then I got a call confirming my appointment 2 days before my appointment and asking for insurance information. Then the day before my appointment an employee female J____n calls my house wanting to change my appointment she said the doctor won’t be in that time. We have a 4:20 . I took the appointment I said I might be a few minutes late . I told her I was coming from work off of 22 East and sometimes it is busy. She seemed annoyed because I asked her to wait for me if I’m delayed in traffic. She then said I should never been able to make that appointment at 5:20. I never made the appointment on line. I called in to the office 2 weeks ago and they told me what was available. Then while I was working I get a text changing my appointment to 4:40 on 1/4/21. I text back yes . It then said thank you and we will see you soon. I get there and have the same employee J____nAgain ! She said my appointment is canceled because of a system problem and the Doctor is not in. She never apologized or tried to help me. I told her I was never going to be a patient here again and walked out! I just want Vision Works to know what is going on because it happened to me twice in 2 days . They need more professional, educated people working there. I give this place a fat zero ! What a waste of time!
I would give zero stars if I could. I was declined contacts even though I had a valid prescription. They claimed it was illegal to get contacts from them via another doctor’s prescription.
Thier automated appointment system does not work apparently. I showed up for my 3pm appointment on 4/30/2021. Unfortunately the sysyem does not work and I was told I had no appointment. I said yes I do. The woman said well we have problems with the automated scheduling sytem. No apology, just basically said to bad. I will be going somewhere else that employs humans to answer and schedule appointments.

The actual doctor was amazing and polite the reception staff were rude and disrespectful to my husband and I about the fact that we had our 2 year old with us and he was throwing a tantrum. They kept making snide comments and giving us judge mental looks
They are the worst group of people, they kept harassing me at work for my insurance, explained i was working and would bring it at my appointment. They would not stop calling then they threaten to cancel the appointment if I did not give them the insurance information first. I will never go back to them. Nobody should be treated like they treat people.
Terrible place....40min after my appointment they decide to check my insurance after calling 4 days earlier for and checking my insurance then want to tell me after sitting there for 40 mins listening to the two girls who work there complain about their fellow employees that my insurance is out of network and Ill only receive half my benefits.........dont waste your time go somewhere more professional
First time I had gone here. It was a great experience. Everyone was friendly. The doctor was great. And the young lady helped me pick out my glasses. And it was a great match. Everyone loves the way my glasses look on me. Definitely will go back there
Even though they are short-staffed, i felt that the people there did their best to be accommodating and helpful. One pair that I had ordered came back from their lab in Texas as defective and Antoine (sp?) bent over backwards to make things right. Thank you Visionworks and a special thank you to Antoine!
My husband and I both have seen Dr. Martinez. She’s wonderful. Not only is she really personable, but she is very thorough with her exam. She really takes the time to explain your vision and results and makes sure your prescription is perfect. The girls in the store are great and really make sure you find the glasses you want and recommend what options are best for you. So glad we found an eye doctor that is so helpful and my prescription is on point! Would totally recommend!!
Do not make an appointment via the phone automated service or online. It will schedule for whatever type of appointment is available soonest. I was scheduled for a virtual appointment unbeknownst to me and I had to call them to ask why it was scheduled like that. Long story short their scheduling system is flawed and I now have to wait an additional three weeks for an in person appointment.

I made an appt for myself and husband in Sept with a Nov 10 appt date. Come to find out the appt is cancelled and the Dr is part time and only there three days a week. Now we cannot be seen until January 2021 however our 2020 benefit ends this year which was explained to the receptionist. So now we will shop around and hopefully get in somewhere before the end of the year. Good luck to whomever decided to use this franchise. Looking at reviews, there are really good reviews and really bad. Unfortunately this is really bad and we will not return and we were customers for years.
The doctor was excellent. However, the other reviews are on point- the front desk staff are extremely unprofessional. There were three of them- only one was acting in an appropriate manner. The other two were talking poorly about other customers consistently, and not trying to hide it. They were also walking around, trying on glasses for fun, and talking about their personal lives. They were making it very clear that they did not care who heard. Luckily I dont require lenses or contacts and just wanted a basic exam. If I need anything more than that, Id definitely go elsewhere. The girls up front who are repeated in several of these comments really need to be addressed; its causing them to lose business.
Rescheduled my appointment 2 times in a row because a “machine broke” and “the doctor won’t be in tomorrow.” First time I get it but after the second time it’s not acceptable, especially so last minute. I re-scheduled giving them one last chance, but also have an appointment ready for another eye doctor, because they’ll probably cancel again. If I knew it would be like this I would have went somewhere else and probably would have new glasses by now, as this was scheduled in October

Made a appointment a month and a half ago for today. I called before I left to ask if I can bring someone in the office with me only to find out I actually DONT have a appointment today, even though I have the appointment confirmation in my email for Oct 15 at 2pm and filled out the patient information online the night before.I was told the doctor was on lunch from 1:20pm-2:00pm. If hes back from lunch at 2:00pm how am I not able to have a appointment at that time? I wont ever try making another appointment with Visionworks again.

I was supposed to have an appointment back March 30 that was canceled due to covid. Nobody ever called me once you guys reopened to schedule. I ended up having to book online back in June for today’s appointment.: which was at 2:40pm. I drove over an hour an a half away with my 2 toddlers plus being pregnant only to be told that supposedly the docto I was supposed to see wasn’t in and they claimed they called me all last week to cancel. I received no phones. I even received text message and email confirmations about my appointment for today even receiving one this morning to complete my paperwork and reminding me not to forget my 2:40 appointment. They refused to even fit me in. Then tried claiming the number I gave them isn’t the number they have and wasn’t the number I booked online with. If that was the case then why was I able to receive text messages confirming my appointment? And you also had my email on file and couldn’t reach out that way either. Very disgusted with how visionworks is handling things and I refuse to come back. I have been a customer here for over 10 years and to be treated this way was unprofessional and disrespectful. Especially booking an appointment over 3 months in advance.
Dr. Martinez is probably the best eye Doctor Ive ever been to, I have been to many. I have been using for glass and contacts for about 20 yesrs, she took great care of me and my 9 year old. The front end tech helped me stay within my budget and helped my son try on many glasses to find his perfect Harry Potter frames . 😀🤓
There system is messed up I scheduled an appointment and they called me an he before my appointment to tell me it double booked and they needed to reschedule a month away the guy didnt even apologize for the mix up or inconvenience horruble

Very helpful and very pleasant! We recently had our exams here and the optician was very clear in explaining what she was doing and why. Additionally she answered all our questions and made the whole experience enjoyable.The front counter staff were all helpful with our choice of frames and explained what we were getting and what our options were for lenses. A little “up-selling”, but not pushy or rude. Simply put we were told what we had and what we could do and that is all I ask for.Will return!
I truly don’t know why they have all these bad ratings! I had nothing short of a great experience. The young tech that gave us our tests, the eye doctor, and Vanessa who took one look at me and picked out the perfect frames for me! This was the first time my son and I ever needed glasses and we couldn’t be happier with everyone there.
This is the second pair of glasses I have gotten here. The staff is the best...very helpful and they couldnt be any nicer. The girl helped me pick out the perfect frames. No one answers the phones there. Online it says they dont have any open appts at all, even going all the way out to the last day of September 2.5 months away. Called walmart instead and got an appt in 2 weeks
The reviews are accurate. Went in to have my sons glasses adjusted and the woman huffed. Listen I dont care what line of work youre in, if you dont like it dont work there. I wasnt asking for it to even be done for free I would have paid if needed. My son is tough on his glasses and I assumed it was part of the package when I bought them but if it wasnt I would have paid. But she never asked! This place needs some serious help. The doctors have always been good. Its just the staff up front. Edit: theyre nice when youre buying. Anything else later customer service related is a zero.

The doctor is great but the staff is horrible! My husband got glasses but he didn’t want to get transitional lenses even though he needs them. So me and my daughter went back the same day to go and add them. We walked in and told them we wanted to add transitional lenses. One of the workers Chelsea started laughing and rolling her eyes. Antoine who is another worker just stared at us. I said “Is there a problem to add them?” Antoine then said he would help us. Chelsea looked very annoyed at us for no reason. She then helps a customer who was paying for the glasses when all the sudden my daughter told me to look over there. I did and I saw her pointing at us and talking about us to another customer. I was in shock! I didn’t know adding transitional lenses could be this hard. Antoine said I had to pay $90 instead of $70 because the lenses RX is different than the others. I then paid my $90 and stormed off. I never knew customer service could be so rude! The only nice people there are Ginger & the doctor. The only reason I go there because they have a huge variety and they only accept my insurance there. Otherwise I would never go there!
Decided to give this place another shot for glasses after last years bad experience. Once again I walked in and none of the three people working greeted me at any point (or offered to help.) I was in for about ten minutes. Tried on glasses. The employees were talking with each other. Chelsea answered the phone, and was rude after she got off the phone. Very unprofessional. Not helpful. It was just like last year (with one of the same employees mind you). Will not be back. Horrible customer service.

Perhaps the most consistently obnoxious front of house staff in any establishment of any kind in the Valley. Its surreal how rude they are. The doctor was great. The selection is really good. The lenses are perfect. Hence, I keep going back. This time around the sales staff were helpful. Then, the follow-up. No call when my glasses were in for over a week and they made me feel like an idiot for not simply guessing they were ready. They once accused me of willfully cleaning my lenses like a child would. This place is unbelievabaly bad. And Ill likely go back in 2 years for the selection and relatively solid pricing compared to a boutique (awesome but expensive)....ugh.
Im not one to go online and review places, but Im baffled by the negative comments and felt compelled to put in my two cents. Ive been going to this store for over a year. Ive gotten glasses, sunglasses, and contacts. The doctor is great and the staff have been courteous and helpful. Theyve changed screws and adjusted my glasses without a hassle (and for free), and theyve helped me time when to buy glasses so I get the best deal. I bypass the eyeglass store that is 15 minutes closer and right by my home because I like this store. Id highly recommend going there.Theyre prompt, pleasant, and all around nice people who provide a good service. I asked them why they had such awful reviews online and they admitted they were confused because the company regularly surveys customers and they have over a 90% approval rating. So decide for yourself, folks!
Nonsensical policies in place. Existing patients can get glasses or contact exam. New patients can get glasses exam but no contact exam. That is utterly ridiculous and stupid.

In addition, the place is pretty peaceful. Why there are so many negative reviews: I honestly have no idea. I had talked with one of the employees about the reviews and it was a pretty funny conversation, but I forget her name. Dont totally remember what else we were talking about, but do remember talking about jiffy lube. #IForgetYourName
Called to make an appointment and they scheduled us a month out. We also had purchased my sons glasses there and stopped by to have them adjusted and someone walked in and was seen right away. I get it, maybe their timing was right but when I called someone could have told me I could try a walk in. But we waited and went for our appointment and guess what? They had to record of it. We always try to avoid Walmart but we went over and were seen right away. I wish I would have read these reviews because sadly they are accurate. My question is, what are they doing to correct it? The attitude really is the worst part.... where do they get these people from? I think it comes down to training, empathy and it starts from the top. Set expectations and lead by example.

I have to admit that I was skeptical about trusting my eye care to a chain store. But once I was met with the hundreds of choices of glasswear, coupled with the professional service we received, I was convinced that we made a good choice. Representative Sandy was very knowledgeable about all of their products. Sandy answered all of our questions without being pushy, or egging us on just for the sale. Rather, she scored major points with my wife and I by filling us in on all of the discounts afforded us as retirees. Pricing was more than competitive as demonstrated by their BOGO on our eyeglass purchase. Give them a visit.

This place is just trying to rob people blind. I went there to get contacts and missed my last appointment. I understand that was on me. But then they tell me I need to pay out of pocket for the fitting and eye exam again when it hasnt even been 6 months. I called my insurance and they say a routine eye exam should last 2 years. The lady was very rude and sounded absolutely okay with losing a customer. I understand paying for the fitting again, since I missed the appointment, but to charge for an eye exam that even insurance said wouldnt change in 2 years is ridiculous! I call another eye doctor that hasnt even seen me yet and they said I dont need the exam, only the fitting and to just bring my script. When I told her, she said thats fine. Wow great customer service! How about, Im sorry its our policy and we hope youll think about staying with us. Empathy goes a long way! Especially in the medical field when we are paying so much money for a 5 minute consult.
We make an appointment for my son months ago, we called them to confirm and suddenly they had no record of it and they were very rude about it. I guess they think people dont have options but we went elsewhere and got right in and had great service. The reviews are right, dont go here.
These glasses are literally the opposite of what they were advertised to me as. The salesman downright lied. They show scratches and glare and smudges terribly. I am frustrated every time I go to clean them, and the worst part is they said that they are resistant to scratches, and will NOT show smudges or dirt if I was to say go swimming or something. My old glasses were so much better, and I had those for almost a decade, and paid a quarter of the price. I feel I was truly ripped off by this place. But hey, maybe youll have better luck!

Walked in to make an appt. And was told they had no openings until the end of November. Looked around and saw an associate helping someone, but she was slouched in her chair, holding her head up with her hand/elbow on table. Found that very disrespectful and unprofessional. They also had 4 or 5 people sitting in chairs waiting to see the doctor. Just got an all around bad vibe from this place. And a month and 10 days is a ridiculous to wait for an eye appt. Imo.
Dr. Is nice and was good with my 2 kids. However, it shouldnt take 18 days to receive my childs glasses. I had to call 6 times after day 8. Generally it should take no more than 10 but sometimes places have your glasses already and just dont call right away. Apparently the lens that was ordered by the employees was a discontinued lens. They realized it on the 24th of August. But I called on the 26th and that was never mentioned to me when she said they still havent received it. It wasnt until the 5th time I called on the 27th when she told me, unapologetically. I called on Sept. 1st after my child told me they werent going to school on the 3rd without them again. The girl said they werent in and due to the upcoming holiday, they wouldnt be getting anymore deliveries until the 3rd. And even if they did come in, the lab is closed and they wouldnt be able to cut and fit the lens into the frames that arrived days before. I will never purchase from here again.
I will listen to the almost unanimously poor reviews and go elsewhere. This many complaints can not be coincidental. Visionworks....you better get on the problem...you are going to go belly up. Whoa! The rudest staff ever. Completely bitchy. Actually the optometrist were very nice but the people up front, totally bitchy. Oh and prepare to wait because evidently an appointment doesnt mean a damn thing here. I was 15 minutes early just in case and was not seen until 30 minutes after my appointment. This place is what the For Eyes commercials are about. Never again.

I wouldnt go back there even if the glasses were free. My husband and I both had problems we both could not see with the prescriptions we had gotten. We both wound up taking the glasses back getting refunded. We could see better with our old glasses. They say to everyone have you worn this kind of prescription before you have to get used to it. I said BULLSHIT I have been wearing this type of prescription for years. Bottom line is they dont know what they are doing.

This place is awful. They took forever to get me back to my exam and kept sending me back and forth from the room to the waiting area. The selection of glasses wasn’t what was stated on their site. My insurance apparently only covered their frames on sale which was the $69.00 clearance glasses, which I may add are hideous, they were never in fashion...ever. They have them on a small rack, about half the size of a normal rack you’d imagine. They also told me that some of the frames on sale are spread throughout the other glasses on the walls, marked with either a yellow tag, a yellow marker, or not marked at all. I guess they got too lazy to finish marking them. I had just gotten my eyes dialated, and was in there for glasses because my broke, and they sent me on a Easter egg hunt for these stupid stickers. How am I supposed to find them?! I struggled and hardly got any help, certainly no help without attitude. The staff there is horrid. From the wanna be Evan Peters guy at the front desk, to the women with no customer service experience. The doctor there is fine, no words about her. I finally get some help... hardly. And am forced to pick out ugly glasses I don’t want. I told them that I didn’t find any of them acceptable, and she told me I can take my prescription somewhere else and get glasses. But then I’d be paying out of pocket for glasses when I can just get free, ugly ones there. A time least they’re free..I told her If I knew the selection was so horrid I would have just gotten new contacts. My insurance only covers one, and I can get contacts cheaper online so I opted for glasses. But now since these are so ugly I’m going to have to buy both out of pocket. She then told me that I can get my contact prescription, and get contacts and I said, doesn’t that mean I’d have to pay for a contact appointment on top of it, and she said yes. So basically the only way to fix the issue is for me to give them money, instead of them making the issue right since they’re screw ups. I also found out that I could have paid the difference of the cost of a pie of glasses and what my insurance covered. But when I asked them that question while there, I got no answer. Just a stair....I always look at reviews before I buy or go somewhere and the one time I don’t I get screwd. Save yourself the trouble and stay away from here. I’d give 0 stars if I could.
Simply the worst eye glass place in Springfield.
The absolute worst customer service! The associate that checked us out while buying glasses for my daughter was rude and unprofessional. Literally watched her whisper about us and how my kids were loud. I would never go back again.
Sadly the other reviews were accurate. Poor service in the sales area although the people who checked my eyes were nice.
Optometrist are nice and do a good job but the sales people out front ruin it. Everything the Foreyes commercial is about is true here. Rude, snotty people.
Can I give less than one star? Truely a pathetic place to do business at. Went for a simple pair of glasses and it turned into a horrible experience! The employee could not even write my phone number down correctly to call me back to say there was an isssue with my order. I call a week later and inquire about my glasses and they say we don’t have you as ever ordering glasses did you call the right place? Ummm yea you charged me and took my money.. I called they incompetent and that is stating it lightly.. they might have a few nice glasses but having to deal with just plain incompetent people is not worthit.EditDecided to give the store another try purchased a pair of glasses and it was uneventful. But can’t believe the girl that botched my previous attempt at glasses was still employed at the store. I was going to refuse service if I had to deal with this person. But this gentleman was very good salesperson; give him a bonus!I will have to edit when I actually pick up the glasses.Still one star. If the owner would realign employees then the rating would be higher.Thanks
