Meanwhile, I never got an update until I personally called for one. Then I was notified they had to contact the insurance company for approval on damage that was blatantly visible the whole time delaying things further. The cherry on top was when I picked up my car they put on the wrong hitch cover so I couldn’t access my hitch and there was another piece missing so I had a hole in my bumper. They told me they would order these parts right away. Yet again, I never heard anything and had to call again myself. And still nothing. I was transferred to a service manager for updates on my vehicle who never answered his phone.Slow service, poor communication, and a job poorly done.

I had my Mercedes repaired at Lamettrys in Eden Prairie after an accident, and they did a great job. The paint match is *almost* perfect. (You can see a minimally warmer hue on the fender compared to the original paint on the hood but ONLY under direct sunlight and only if you know what youre looking for. The blending on adjacent panels was imperceptible. For not being a factory paint job, this is as perfect as it gets.) Dave was also amazing to work with, handling all my requests with kindness and ease. My car was ceramic coated originally, and so as part of my claim, I had my car detailed and re-ceramic coated by my detailer after the repairs were completed. Dave managed the payment to my original detailer and the reimbursement from my insurance company, so I didnt have to worry about the backend details at all. They also stand by their work. About 8 months later, I took my car back in because I realized I wasnt totally satisfied with one panels alignment. I didnt notice it earlier on, so the bumper mightve hooked on a curb or similar, but either way, Dave immediately ordered the parts and set up the repair no questions asked. I will not have body work done anywhere besides Lamettrys. Top quality and awesome to work with.

I have used lamettrys a few times in the past and was always super impressed. I used them again for a repair to my truck bed. I was disappointed about the timeliness but Steve Selig explained the process to me so I understood. He was super helpful and kept me informed. He made me understand that quality takes time. I got an appointment a few days after my repair estimate. My insurance worked seamlessly with La Mettry’s to approve the repair. My car was ready for pickup three days later. My Audi shone like new because of the repairs and thorough cleaning inside and out.

I just had a sales rep catch an attitude with me and refuse to pull up my service information after working with them and my INS earlier this week. The other representatives I spoke with were helpful, but I was expecting better follow up from Minnesota’s Premier auto body shop. After our initial conversation I received one follow-up call, no text, no email. When I return the call I was met with the very aggravated rep who lost my business.

Chris from Eden Prairie was so professional and friendly. The front end scratches were taken care of properly and promptly. Would definitely use them again.

Chris and his staff were GREAT! I had an unusual problem with my keyless entry system. Chris gave me a very reasonable quote and the work was completed in a few hours. The keyless system works perfect now. The final price was the same as the initial quote no hidden surprises. They not only fixed the problem, they washed my car, vacuumed and cleaned the inside. So, my lock now works perfectly and my car was spotless. This was my first experience at LaMettrys. If I need service work in the future I will go back for sure. I cant decide between a 2 or a 3 star rating. I had the trunk lid replaced on my Tesla Model X. They forgot to put the emblems back on... they missed a spot buffing (ok not a big deal).... the weather stripping is not installed correctly--I can see the bolts on the inside of the trunk lid in 3 or 4 places when looking into the space between the panels..... There are a few bumps in the paint... car was washed but still dirty enough to have trouble telling what is a problem and what is from a sloppy car wash.... The manager who checked me out wasnt one involved with the car so that was a little annoying to have to re-explain everything over again (they were supposed to save a few of the electronic parts for me--no one knows where they are until they can ask the tech next week).... finally, Im pretty sure one of the windows on top of the back doors wasnt cracked when I dropped the car off--it is cracked now....hmmmmm.....On the other hand the paint color matching is incredible! The trunk lid opens and closes very smoothly and doesnt shake from side to side or anything. Theyve had great communication along the way on the progress of the repair. They did all the insurance stuff and took care of the rental car when I picked up my car. The front desk people are always chipper and happy.At least there is a lifetime warranty.... I can keep bringing it back until its done properly! :(Maybe theres better with higher volume cars, Honda, Nissan, GM, Ford, etc. They are the only Tesla authorized shop in Minnesota so I just have to deal with it.

I have had my vehicle fixed twice in the last year at Lammetrys. The professionalism was obvious on my first visit. They always tell you what steps they are going to take, and keep you informed of the status of each step. Both times my vehicle was returned to me looking like new and clean inside and out!

Very disappointed with how long the repairs took (well over a month), the poor communications, they let the battery run down to zero which damages it, and final repairs were not all done at pick up. One week after getting it back, an underside panel came off while driving because none of the bolts were tightened. Really poor quality control.

The repair work on my Audi A7 was performed in an outstanding manner and ahead of schedule. I greatly appreciated their honesty when they discovered they could make the repair for much less than their original estimate, especially since my insurance wouldn’t cover the repair. They are one of the only two authorized Audi repair shops in the Twin Cities and I can see why.

Right before I was about to sell my car, someone backed into it and swiped the rear driver-side bumper. There were quite a few scratches and dents, which needed to be fixed before the sale. I also had a small rust spot I didnt want to spread for the next owner. I submitted a claim on the former issue with Allstate, and they (typically) underestimated the cost of the repair. LaMettrys worked to get that sorted. A day after I brought the car in, they called to let me know what the damage was, what needed to be repaired, and how much it would cost. The damage on the bumper was pretty extensive. To fix the rust spot in the nicest way possible, they proposed taking the whole door off and then repainting the car so everything matched. While that would be nice for a better/fancier car, the new buyer told me not to borrow and that they would just paint over the spot to make sure the rust didnt spread. I communicated this to LaMettrys and told them their proposed service was more than I needed. They said theyd take it off. When I went to pick up my car, I was delighted. They fixed absolutely everything, including several things at no cost. After telling them not to bother with the rust spot, they ended up filling it in, covering it, and painting over it. They warned me it wasnt perfect - sure, it didnt exactly match the paint on the rest of the car - but it was such a wonderful gesture. It solves the issue of the rust spreading and really looks so close to perfect no one would notice. They also fixed a little dent near the rear that was unrelated to the original swipe. AND they used some of the paint to cover up scratches here and there. They did this all just out of the kindness of their hearts. I basically have a brand-new looking car now. I really cant believe how much they did for me, and couldnt be any more grateful. LaMettrys is the best!!

It was a bit convoluted as they were originally going to straighten the sheet metal and then had to go back to the insurance company and get the approval to replace all the panels on the right side instead. I wasn’t kept informed were and I had 3 different reps all were very nice. The car looked good when done but could have been cleaner inside.

The only tiny issue I had was with the front desk ladies. I didn’t appreciate their attitude and they came off a little standoff-ish. They just gave off an unwelcoming vibe. Maybe it’s just their personality and it’s not personal. Other than that, service was great. I would definitely return here.

2012 Audi S4 was Hit on drivers side front clip. Extensive body & suspension damage. I called Audi to see who they recommend for repairs? They said LaMettry’s EP. I had it towed there, the next day Steve (GM) called said they had a meeting to discuss the best course of action to repair it. Steve’s communication is second to none! He would update me weekly on the progress, whenever he said he would be calling he did. For me in today’s society where people/companies rarely meet deadlines and/or don’t communicate, I was VERY impressed with LaMettry’s EP. In fact I’m bringing my Escalade ESV there for some paint bubbling, knowing I’ll get the best in craftsmanship and communication period.

The overall experience was nice, but I am not satisfied with their attention to detail. They had my car for almost a week for a minor damage, that hasn’t been repaired completely; my rear bumper still appears to be bent. I will have to go back again to get it fixed.
