Patrick was a wonderful help and great to work with! He helped me find just the right vehicle even though it was a very hard decision for me. He remained patient and flexible through the whole process and provided me with the information I needed. I will be working with Patrick and Metropolitan Ford again in the future for all my vehicle needs.
Seem to keep good stock, have gone the extra 12 miles to Eden prairie plenty of times to get something the same day. The parts counter is hard to find just saying, otherwise all up to expectations
Ive had constant car trouble like most😂 But thanks to my guy Brian I can rest easy! Thanks for all that you do and shout out to the service manager and the whole team you guys really have something going.👍
Went in for a warranty claim. My car had a 1,000 miles on it and one of the exterior trim pieces started to deteriorate. I was told in the first 30 seconds I needed a body shop. Which was shocking considering I could very easily tell it was a trim piece. They told me to go to the dealer I bought it from. So I did and glad I did. That dealer said yes its a piece and we will order it on warranty.I will not go back to this dealer for service, but I will go back to New Brighton Ford as they put so much more care in me in a 30 second period.
Jess is the man! Delivers world class service and knows how to take care of customers! If you need service, ask for him and you will be in good hands.
I just had a few questions I needed answered before taking a long road trip. Patrick O’Bryant was quick to answer and extremely pleasant and enjoyable to work with. His customer service skills and genuine care for my issues was real. I highly recommend visiting Metro Ford of EP if only for Patrick’s top notch service alone.
Dan Beckman did an awesome job with getting my 2018 Ford F-150 all taken care of from transferring over my lease to a buy out. He stayed in contact and got things done beforehand prior to coming in to make it a much better transition. The service at Metropolitan is always top notch, fast and convenient.
Had the very best experience working with Patrick! He was straightforward and honest and he got us in a new vehicle the very next day. If you need someone who knows their stuff and makes the car buying experience easy and smooth then see Patrick!
Mike Koch and the whole team were incredibly helpful and kind, made it so easy!!
Bought a used vehicle here recently. Staff were helpful and answered any questions I had. Business guy wasnt pushy, just gave me the facts. Parts desk also very helpful for an addition I purchased for my vehicle. Ill be back.
Prompt service thought I was going to be there all day. Brian had me out the door in Less than a hour! Well Done!! As Usual!! 💯
Dan Beckman did a first class job with my wife and I in our search for a used F-150 Ford Truck. He dealt with all the details we were concerned with and has shown great initiative even after the sale was complete.
Metro Ford is the place to by your vehicle. The service department at Metro is the best by far in the business. I was getting ready to leave town for a family vacation and my F-150 started having some big issues. I called Brian Burt and he said he would look at it right away for me. Long story short Brian and the team found the problem (big problem at that) and he had it fixed and running with-in an hour!! Unheard of!!! Thanks Metro, another job well done!!!
I purchased a used F150 last Saturday from Dan Beckman. Dan was extremely helpful and friendly. I highly recommend Dan and would not hesitate to work with him on any future transactions.
These guys show great love to the military!! Thanks Michael for giving me great customer service and a great price on extended warranty!!
From the moment I inquired about a truck I was interested in, to driving it off the lot, I cant say enough good things about Metro Ford and Tony, the sales rep. I worked with. As a first time out-of-state buyer flying in to pick up the vehicle, I was a little apprehensive but they were very accommodating, including letting an independent mechanic look over the truck for me, answering lots of questions via email and phone, and holding it for a couple weeks with a nominal deposit. Very low pressure sales without pushing add-ons I didnt want, financing or warranty. After arriving in Minneapolis, I was in and out of the dealership in under an hour and on my way for a long drive home. Great car buying experience.
Awful customer service with management that will literally laugh in your face if you attempt to negotiate even a few hundred dollars off their sticker price. Avoid if you dont like getting fleeced
I would not shop here again. Customer service was meh. The price listed on CARFAX was lower than what the salesperson told us and he blamed it on some feed problems (not my problem) and then went on about how he already has the best prices in the country, his words. Even though the car at that dealership had the exact trim package I was looking for, I’ll shop elsewhere. It’s a competitive market but I did not feel like a valued customer!
Bought a used 2012 F-150 from them on May 27th 2021. I thought I got a good deal until The next day the Check engine light came on. Took it to my local Ford dealership to find code p0430 bad Catalytic converter. $1200 repair. They checked when the code was erased and it was 60 miles ago. They cleared it at the dealership. Then 2 days later it got to 79 degrees and the AC doesnt work. $1500 repair. I have had this truck for 4 days and spent almost $3000 in repairs. Buyer beware of this place. They will sell you a POS vehicle and smile while they do it. Never again.
Staff is extremely friendly and not pushy. Its a place I feel comfortable to make a big purchasing decision. Mike Dixon was so very patient with all the questions I had. Thanks for the great experience!
Excellent. These are good people. No games or pressure. Metropolitan Ford is how dealerships should be run.
Came in for an oil change and new drain plug. After over an hour waiting I was told that the drain plug wasnt in stock but they would get one asap. Another half hour passes and Im told that the one they got wont work. I was then told that the oil would only leak a little bit. Not happy to know that I just spent so much on an oil change just to have the oil leaking out. Nothing like watching my money drip onto the ground. Figured I would get better service at ford but was wrong. Wont make this mistake again. Ohhh and to top it off, $115.00 for an oil change blew my mind. Disgusted!
Tony Reyes, HIGHLY recommend if looking to test drive/purchase a vehicle. Tony not only stepped away from his busy schedule, Tony knew every detail about the vehicle, top to bottom, front to back while providing the highest levels of customer service start to finish. Conclusion, were now proud Ford owners!! Thanks again Tony!!
Friendly staff & quickly fixed my issue
If I could give these guys a zero I would. Terrible service. I would recommend using a different ford dealership. They really dont make u feel like a valued customer! Also very shaddy in there business dealings!
Faissal Bouanane saved me and is amazing! I own Sota Outdoor Services out of St Paul and we had a tire blow out on our salt truck and we parked it in their lot over night i called in the morning and faissal said they would love to help us get back on the road safely. While I was their I also inquired about my brand new 2019 f350 fluids and oiled change he said they could do it right on the spot within 30mins and I swear it only took 20 minutes or less them to do an inspection and top off fluids and oil change... thank you guys again amazing service!
Mike Nelson and the team at Metropolitan Ford have always treated us great and we will always do our business with them. We now live in Gillette, Wyoming and drive to Minnesota just because of the service we receive from them. We bought a 2020 Edge and custom ordered a 2021 F-350 Lariat and are happy with both purchases. If you want top notch service and a friendly staff, go see the team at Metropolitan Ford.
If I could rate 0 stars I would. I purchased a vehicle here January 13th and I have had nothing but problems with it. Before purchasing the car, I asked the sales associate if there were any issues with it, anything wrong I should be aware of and he told me no. Fast forward 1.5 months and I already had to bring it in for check engine codes and now I am looking in the price range of $4,000 to fix everything..almost the same amount I paid for the car.Do yourself a favor and go to a place that has honest sales reps and mechanics don’t just clear check engine codes.
Very well kept, everybody had a great attitude!
Purchased a used vehicle from this dealership on 5/8. They didnt mail the registration information into the Wisconsin DMV until 5/20. Now our temporary plate is expiring this weekend and Metropolitan Ford basically said its not their problem. Would avoid them at all costs as well as repDan Beckman.Replying to the reply. If you look down the reviews, the response is standard...nothing is your problem and ownership is never taken by your organization. Businesses step up and go the extra mile for their customers. You chose to cash the check and walk away with no follow up.Again, you fail to take ownership. We bought the vehicle on the 8th and you waited until the 20th to overnight the title to Wisconsin....why so long? Thats not customer service. I reached out to Dan about this, he basically said it was not his problem. I told him I wanted to talk to his supervisor...still no call. Customer service is not your thing, just own that.
***Update 6/11/2021*** I payed $2k under MSRP, Metropolitan is charging $8k OVER MSRP! Don’t listen to the supply and demand BS they feed you. Yes there’s a micro chip shortage, but Ford is still taking orders, it’s just going to take a few weeks to get it.Ended up going with a truck at Apple Valley Ford. 10/10 recommend Apple Valley!! Please, do yourself a favor, and avoid metropolitan. I got exactly what I was looking for from both my trade in and the truck I purchased. I received no push back on the value I wanted for my truck! In addition, they worked with me on what I believed was a fair price for the new truck. My experience at Apple Valley validates my comments of Metropolitan, and their deceptive practices. To make matter even worse, I am now on my third attempt to get the proper documentation from Metropolitan to cancel my Ford Extended Warranty. I 100% believe it is a result of my “recommendation” of their business. Once again, save yourself the headaches and money by avoiding Metropolitan!!Avoid at all costs or it’ll cost you!! Look, I get it, businesses have to make money, that’s just how it works. Unfortunately, Metropolitan Ford is looking to make money by taking advantage of you! Full disclosure (see photos), I went in to trade in my 2016 F150 for a new 2021 F150, and was open with management that I had a price in mind for my truck based on KBB and NADA analysis. I even told them, I understand you can’t just give me an amount I want (highest KBB value), so I was willing to take the lower side of the KBB value range. Also, I recently put $1,600 oversized all terrain tires on this truck with less than 5k miles, an aluminum roll up tonneau cover ($1,500 installed), custom fit floor mats ($200), and put in new Ford USB ports ($200) to enable Apple CarPlay. All of these considered and a fair value of the truck is well within the range of $38-40k trade in. Hell, even the KBB instant offer (which is basically the lowest possible offer you can get for a vehicle - hell they don’t even need photos) is $34k. Metropolitan Ford (Mike and Dean - sales manager and sales rep, were willing to offer me $29k “at best” they told me. In addition they wanted to charge me $10k more for the new truck compared to their competitor about 20 mins down the road. Avoid this dealership at all costs!***Update***Within an hour of posting my review, I received a call from dealership asking if I would return and try and work out a new deal. They apparently “miss appraised” my truck, and were willing to make me a better offer. Let me be clear, the salesman who called me, Patryk, I believe is a genuine good person. I do however believe his boss, Mike, is about as two faced as they come, and would have enjoyed taking the credit if I would have returned. In addition, a new deal would have considered or more than likely been dependent on my “reconsidering” my review. Do yourself a favor, stay away from this dealership. There are a lot better dealerships in the area; Waconia, Apple, and Morrie’s.
Purchased my 2016 F150 from here 5 years ago. Got a great price and overall good experience. Purchased the Extended Service Plan (ESP), Upon termination of ESP mileage (75k miles), Metro Ford sent the reimbursement check within a week or two. Overall they were great to work with in this area, thanks again!
I worked with Jerry Chapman who found me the perfect vehicle for what I was looking for! He is honest and helpful, and easy to work with because he is so responsive. I will definitely consider purchasing another vehicle from here in the future.
I just purchased a new car for my father. This would be his third vehicle at Metropolitan Ford. He has always been very happy with this dealership and he is a very fussy customer! However, as he’s grown older and I’ve had to take his vehicle keys away from him I now find that I need a vehicle to take he and my mother (Who also does not drive) around town in. (My vehicles are too large and difficult for them to get into.) Patrick assisted me through this very difficult process and I was very gratified with how sensitive he was to the situation I was going through. He and the staff handled this painful situation extremely well and we all felt very comfortable going through this process.
REV 1: I like when the place or thing you review gives a response to your post/review that leads others reading think the issue is being handled or resolved when it really has not been.I purchased a new explorer for my wife from you when I traded in my paid off truck. Make a long story short, I got it home on Friday and over the weekend I found a lot of fish-eyes in the paint. Have zero clue as to how that could happen in such a factory controlled environment painted by a robot, but it did. So many that it really needed to get sanded and painted to get rid of them. I couldnt stomach that after paying $36,800 or so plus tax. So, we had to look for another one on the lot and needed to be the red. Oh look, we found another red SUV on the out lot. Wait, $1000 less rebate and no power lift gate. I left there paying $1000.00 more for less of an explorer. You may find this interesting, but every couple, few weeks as I would walk by this SUV, it would remind me of the experience and I would be pissed for 2-3 seconds. See the thing is, I normally never back down from anything or anyone when its wrong (wrong without debate) and I should have just taken my trade back and started over somewhere else since your team would not make it right. At the minimum I should have left even to even, NO out of pocket but NO. Come on, at least split the difference. I am more pissed off at myself then anyone because I have never let something like this happen to me before and havent since, on anything, ever and it wont happen again I can guarantee you. Such a dumb ass for a moment in time.I dont even want to go into sales rep. DANs main concern was getting a perfect score on a survey. He talked about that f@cking survey over 10 times that day. Does that equate to cash I assume, obviously.
Ive had nothing but positive experiences with Metropolitan from the first day. Ive had my F150 for 5 years. The salesman, Tony, was great, no pressure-just a lot of help to find what I wanted. The service department always goes the extra mile. Great people from top to bottom. These are people I can trust. Thank you for your efforts!
My 3rd car from J. Chapman at Metropolitan Ford. Great experience all around. Asked me the right questions and used my responses to secure a very satisfying deal. Felt very safe with full mask protocol throughout the process. Thanks, Jerry!
This first time mama had some nervous energy to burn off and Mike Jones was up for the challenge! Thank you for finding the perfect vehicle for my growing family. This is actually my third vehicle I’ve bought from Mike but it’s my first Ford! The walk through of the vehicle, showing me every single nook and cranny and teaching me all the bells and whistles and making sure I had the app set up and all the vehicle settings set before I drove off the lot. Even after the sale Mike continues to answer my questions when they arise.Needless to say I love my Explorer so much and it fits my family perfectly too! Thank you Mike.
Great service. Latte in customer lounge
My wife and I are saving to buy a house and needed to get out of a bad situation with our Dodge. We desperately needed to lower our monthly payment and find a vehicle that was in perfect condition. We went to Metropolitan Ford and met Mark Pudas, one of their top sales team members. I explained the situation with our Dodge and what we wanted to try to do. Mark listened carefully to our needs and made us feel comfortable. It was like talking to good friend, not a sales person. Mark made us feel like he genuinely cared and wanted to help us leave happy. He asked us questions to identify the right solution, and made us feel like there were a team of people on our side to help us leave happy. From the finance team, the general manager, and our partner Mark by our side, not only did we get the right car identified, he lowered our monthly payment by $200 a month, and my wife drove off the lot with a beautiful pre-owned Mercedes in PERFECT condition. Mark saved the day, and we are grateful to him and the team for treating us like family. Thank you so much! A+++++
6,000$ worth of repairs in 2 months of owning. We dont inspect our vehicles, but we do drive them. Also that wonderful brake light option that will never save your life will cost you 300$ its not included in the price of the car.
Dean and Michael are the best! They put me in a beautiful Jeep Wrangler which I loveeee. Ask for them!
Purchased several vehicles at Metropolitan Ford. Outstanding sales and service. Both the sales and service staff will go the extra mile to provide the excellent customer service I have experienced. Outstanding dealership, highly recommend.
I had a great experience buying my new Ford Expedition! Highly recommend going to this dealership for your next car or truck! Mike Nelson and Tony Reyes (as well as Mike in financing) were amazing to work with! Love my new Expedition!
Great place and good people
On my third vehicle from Metropolitan Ford! These guys are fast, knowledgeable and extremely client-first oriented. Tony in the sales department and Michael in the financing department were extremely helpful with our most recent purchase. They have turned the car buying experience into something easy and fun! Their leadership team is doing something right over there!
I have always received high quality service here no matter what my visit was for. Sales staff are friendly and knowledgeable.
Out experience at Metropolitan Ford was outstanding. Steve, was our salesman. We had been looking for a while, but Steves hospitality, intuition, and forward thinking is what got our business. The car is beautiful, but had things been handled as they had at other dealerships I doubt the sale would have happened...at least not that day. Thanks for letting us drive the car Steve!
Amazing staff and very friendly service department!
I purchased a used Ford Edge from Metropolitan ford around a year ago.. Had a flat tire only to find out that the jack was missing.. Note to self, check for that next time..I also had a problem with the sunroof not sealing and leaked. The dealerships stance was that as soon as I drove it off the lot, it was my problem.I even purchased the extended warranty on the car for an additional 2K+ and still was turned away.
What a Friendly environment!! My Sales lady Cathy Wirta was super nice and not at all pushy. She listened well to my needs and had great suggestions on how to meet those needs.Cathy doesnt make you feel like your buying a car, she makes it feel like your having coffee with a friend.Financing is much quicker than most other places too!
Very glad to have found a Ford dealer in Minneapolis area that is as good as my Ford dealer in Maine. Metropolitan treated us very well and their service staff is great. Jerry did an amazing job tracking down a hard to find Ford Fusion Energi for us and got us a great deal on that and an EcoSport for my daughter. Add these two to my F150 and we are a FORD family!A year later we have upgraded the F-150 with a new F-350 from Metropolitan. Again Jerry was fantastic helping through the process of ordering during this COVID mess. Proud FORD Family!
I purchased a vehicle from this dealership on January 12, 2021. I paid cash for the vehicle. On January 25th I had the vehicle looked over by my local mechanic with whom Ive been doing business for 10+ years. They brought several major problems to my attention and advised me that a few of the problems they found would likely cost $2500-$3000 to fix because the transmission and transfer case would need to be removed and then reinstalled. All told they quoted me over $4000 to fix everything that needed attention. This vehicle was purchased from the dealer at a price well over book value and I foolishly assumed it had been inspected and major issues would have been addressed. On January 28th I contacted Mike Nelson, the used car manager via email and explained the situation to him. I requested to bring the vehicle back for a partial refund. At the time I had owned the vehicle for just over two weeks and had put fewer than 400 miles on it. It was in the exact condition it was in when I purchased it. I had even installed brand new wiper blades all around and purchased matching Weathertech mats so it was arguably in better condition than when I bought it.Despite being more than reasonable in asking to return the vehicle and be refunded the the amount I paid less the $500 deposit I had initially put down on it, I was told by both Mike Nelson (used car manager) and Eric Bjorgaard (general manager) that there was no scenario in which they would allow me to return the vehicle for any kind of refund. They offered to trade me out of the vehicle if I wanted to buy something else from them. They also offered to give me a second opinion on what my mechanic told me.At the end of the day they continued to hide behind their no return policy and only offered solutions that ensured my money stayed in their pocket and/or solutions that put MORE of my money in their pocket. This is a prime example of the slimy, greasy, smoking in the managers office old school car business way of doing things. Most dealerships go the extra mile to ensure their customers have a positive experience at their store so they will come back again and again. This place just wants your cash and once they have it youre not getting it back, period. If this was the last dealership on earth they wouldnt get another dime of my money.
Thoroughly disappointed. I’m not often taken for a ride quite like this one. Jobbed from start to finish; stepping back I’m actually impressed with the artful slight of hand. I do not recommend.
By far some of the worst customers service I have ever experienced! Definitely stay away from this place at all cost!!
Mike was a great sales rep, however, when we specifically asked that our credit be sent to one bank...not multiple....we found our credit was hit by at least 3...the finance department should adhere to the customer needs.
Tony from internet sales was awesome
They have a great service department! Especially Carl!
I had a great time buying my work truck. The team at ep Ford is very helpful! Everyone I worked with on buying my truck was respectable toward me and to each other. Nobody was sizing me up to up sell me on anything and their focus was on me and what I wanted and needed from a work truck. They have my future business for sure. Thanks Dean La Fluer!
Just purchased a very nice Ford F-150. Do your research, have a plan, Mike Dixon will help you execute it. 5/5.
Just picked up a new lease car with my wife, and everything went very smooth. Our sales associate Jerry was very professional, and thorough. Made sure my wife understood everything about the features of the car until she was comfortable.Would highly recommend a trip to Metro Ford if You are looking to buy, or lease. They are very courteous, and professional. They treat You very well.
Very nice place! Large selection of vehicles to choose from! Very helpful and knowledgeable staff! Tony R. Explained everything on the vehicle and said to call with any questions! Very easy access to the dealership! Will go back when in need of a vehicle again!
This is the most honest, straightforward, group of people in the auto industry. Everyone in the team, from the sales person to the lot delivery guys are very customer-oriented, friendly, work on your needs, listens and work with you to get the right vehicle. Everything from the first visit, to the test drive of cars and the financing options is met with courtesy, politeness and they understand your needs. Delivery is a wonderful experience, the car is detailed wonderfully and ready to roll. Highly recommend this team of excellent people. Our entire experience from beginning to end was a total delight. AAA+++
Incredibly disappointed in the lack of friendly customer service in the service department. Im forced to reschedule again because of awful wait times that exceed what they tell you on the phone. How hard it is to schedule oil changes....If i didnt buy the truck through them i dont think id be back. The company used to be 5 stars every visit. In the last couple years slacking employees and uneducated kids filled the ranks.(excluding Brian and Jes)Its like no one really cares and it shows.
I purchased a 2011 Jeep Patriot Latitude X on Saturday June 27 2020 Got a Great Rate, I love the Jeep, but had to come back up to get the correct Key made Cause on the description of the Vehicle it said it had a Remote Start and a remote Garage door opener the sales Representative could not get it to start up he thoight is was the Fob, Fast forward to Thursday July 2 when the Key guy came in to make me a new fob I found out that the Jeep was not equiped with a Remote start it was sold or traded to you with a fob for a remote start I told the sales Rep that it was advertised as being a part of the Vehicle description, he looked very surprised and took awhile to respond but when he did he said we dont put on remote starter units I have had to drive over 100 miles each way twice and I was mot satisfied he didnt even try to rectify the situation.
The salesman Patrick was great and even stayed late for me to purchase the vehicle. Unfortunately, a couple weeks later I found a major issue that came up and they would NOT help out at all. I thankfully work for an amazing body shop (Fix Auto Brooklyn Park) where I saved some money on the repair. I wont be buying a vehicle here ever again!
Thank you Mike Dixon, for the great customer service, he was willing to walk us through all the competitions of first car purchase.
Bought a courtesy car a 2020 ford ranger lariat about a year ago and a couple of problems developed so I called them to take it in for warranty work but was told they are not doing loaner vehicles right now due to covid but they had rental vehicles available.I dont understand the difference between a loaner vehicle and a rental vehicle except this dealer will not honor my new truck warranty.I called another ford dealer and they gladly set up an appointment for me.Buy your new car elsewhere.
I recently purchased a used car from this dealership and had a wonderful experience. I received a generous offer for my trade in. Both the salesman and the finance manager worked with me to get the lowest price possible. I could tell the finance manager was trying to get me the best rates possible, which is something you dont typically find in the car sales industry. The car was thoroughly inspected and any problems found were solved quickly and fixed immediately. The whole team went above and beyond and treated me far better than I have ever been at a dealership.I had been bringing my previous car to the dealership to get various maintenance and service done. Every time the service crew was pleasant and straightforward to work with. Never did I feel that I was trying to be coerced into spending more than necessary. The service was always timely and thorough. I purchased new tires, had my brakes inspected and replaced, and brought the car in for oil changes. I will continue bringing my car here for service, even though I live in the north metro area.Fantastic experiences all around - I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for service or sales!
We had an exceptional car buying experience and received outstanding customer service from Metropolitan Ford. We are so pleased with our new Ford. They listened to us and exactly what we wanted and delivered. They kept their promises and paid attention to all of the details big and small. They went above and beyond to make us feel valued as customers and people. We felt that they always listened cared and made sure to keep in touch with us throughout the process. They always returned our calls whenever we had questions or concerns. They kept their promises and are great to work with! I got exactly what I was hoping for and more. They were outstanding to work with. The service department was so helpful as well. They are fantastic to work with and are very patient and kind. The entire dealership made sure we got all of our questions answered. We had a great buying experience and would definitely return again in the future. I would highly recommend this dealership to anybody. We received outstanding service. It was a wonderful buying experience! A+++Awesome and outstanding transaction!
I have worked with Tony Reyes on multiple occasions purchasing vehicles. He has he most knowledge of anyone i know when it comes to vehicles. Not to mention the after sale follow up is top notch. I would recommend Tony to anyone who wants an awesome seamless buying experience. You will not be disappointed!
Nice people
Loved Tony the sales guy there we have bought our last two cars from him. Service department is trash though if your gonna spend 50-75k on a car or truck go to Porsche or Lexus it’s worth it. Every time my truck has an issue and bring it in I’m told I don’t qualify for a loaner. This would never happen at the higher end car dealerships. Spend 70k on a trunk and can’t even get a loaner when it has issues and I still haven’t owned the truck for a full year.
Multiple bad encounters with this dealer. 1) When looking for a new F-150 I told sales rep I liked the Raptor. He commented something like in your dreams (I was dressed in casual clothing). Two months later I purchased a fully loaded Platinum (auto park and other) from a different dealer. Three times when trying to get recalls done, the service failed to call back. Three times. - On the final attempt told the rep on the phone of prior experience, I was on hold for nearly 30 minutes, sir I will make sure that service calls you to arrange service. - They called back two days later. Really???? I wanted to use this dealer for service they are closer to my home than other dealers. No Way would I use that dealer - unless a personal apology and assurance next time they return a phone call. Im being nice, Ive probably had 4 bad experiences with them (on this 2016). They still have not even looked at my truck. This review is based on attempts to schedule service.
Just purchased another vehicle with the help of Patrick OBryant, our 3rd from him. Hes the best and truly gets a 5 star review. Anyone who works with him and Metropolitan Ford will be glad they did. Thank you for making us happy once again
Never again will I go to Metropolitan Ford just for the location. THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT IS HORRIBLE! All of the bad reviews are about the service department. I drove out of my way to go to Apple Valley Ford and what a different experience that was! My vehicle was correctly diagnosed and taken care of properly and respectfully. The reviews speak for themselves for Apple Ford Group in MN, look it up. I just wish they where closer to south metro.Metropolitan has always given me horrible communication. The service department is very short and rude on the phone with their responses. Lazy service techs with no Q/A checks. When I took my last car there, I knew it had a bad battery and the report stated, “battery tested good”. The car needed a jump when I arrived to pick it up. Just horrible! The service manager is also very condescending. A few years back he argued me with over a trunk painting peeling issue that had a recall for it. Said “we’re close to spending all of our ford loyalty funds. You’re not a fleet owner, too bad. It was a recall that when I sold the car was performed by another Ford dealer to the new owner!Do yourself a favor and try another ford dealer in metro area!
Quick Lane was fast and easy. Faissal was super nice and gave me some great advice. Ive never been disappointed in the service here. Great place!!
Its a nice facility its not a huge Ford dealership by me its but nice I did not like the way the service guy talked to me I felt like he was talking down to me instead of at me which really turned me off to want me to come back there to have any service done on my vehicle lucky for me theres plenty of other Ford dealerships in town.
Faissal, in service, was super nice to work with and got me going again quickly!
Just bought a 2019 f150 last Saturday. This dealer is the best place Ive ever bought a car at.this is the only dealer where customers are treated the very best. Thank u U guys. Ur the best
Very pleasant environment with really good service. You can schedule your appointment online and they would call you back later to verify and remind you about your appointment. Spacious lounge with TV, coffee and cookies if you wanna wait for you service or they can drive you to your work or home if you don’t have time.
Todd was my Service Specialist today. He treated me with total respect and answered every question I had clearly and patiently. As a senior female this has not always been my experience, and I greatly appreciate the service Todd provided. He made a loyal customer today. Thanks Todd
Thought i was going to need a new car so i went there. Mike and Jerry were very helpful even knowing I may not be buying from them. Ended up not buying a car from there (or at all) but they were very accommodating and still took the time to answer all my questions. Will definitely go back there when i actually do need a new car.
Brought vehicle in for service. They were ready for me when I arrived, and service was completed faster than expected. Easy to read diagnostic information was also provided when completed.
The sales and service staff here are extremely helpful; truly the best in the business. Jerry Chapman and Mike Kniseley are some of the nicest people Ive met. Highly recommended!
I have purchased and leased vehicles with Metropolitan Ford and have always dealt with Jerry Chapman in sales and Todd Rutherford in the service department. I have always been very happy with the whole experience. They are attentive, courteous and trustworthy. Jerry is always looking out for his customers and I would highly recommend doing business with Metropolitan Ford.
Purchased a used vehicle from here with their inspection stating it passed all items on their inspection. Turns out a number of things did not actually pass which I found out after I purchased the vehicle of course (by 2 days) which resulted in a couple thousand dollars of repairs. When purchasing a used vehicle I dont expect perfect condition, but I expect an accurate inspection by purchasing from a dealership so I know what Im getting into. 2 stars for fixing one of the bigger ticket items to help me out, but thats about it.
So happy with the results, my car sounds brand new! Thank you!
I bought a car a while back with a bumper to bumper one year warranty but when I came back because the tire pressure sensors didnt work they basically told me too bad. When I spoke to the owner he said its a used car, it is what it is. When those scam artists promise you anything to make the sale the red flags better go up or good luck to you.
Update Service Manager just called me and put me in touch with a person named Todd who was able to give me the information I needed and gave me his direct number if I had anymore questions. Now that is Great Service response. Thank you for taking my concerns serious and more important a solution to resolving the issue.Thank you for taking a 1 star and making it into a 5 star experience.
Julian the sales rep was awesome. I really liked working with him, and I wish him all the best. However...His manager (Matt?) treated me like a child. I was attempting to do a trade-in on my current vehicle for one that they didnt have on their lot, and they essentially refused to try to find a trade, offered me less than anywhere else around for my vehicle in exchange for one that I didnt want, and then got belligerent when I told him so. He actually ended up storming off mid-conversation; Ive never felt so infuriated or belittled by a sales manager in my life. Julian apologized for his manager -- he shouldnt even have to do that. When I got back to my car Id discovered (Matt?) had moved EVERYTHING around - seat position, wheel position, all the mirrors... ridiculous. Why would you need to do that when you only drive it for five minutes to appraise it?Awful experience.
Found a 2017 Ford Fusion Titanium on there website and the rest was history! E-mailed Mike Jones on details of the vehicle and setting up a test drive. He covered every aspect of the vehicle and made sure I was taken care of. Every question I had in mind he covered with me not even asking. Made the test drive test all the bells and whistles and made sure I knew what they did. When it came to making the sale, Troy helped me get a better rate then what I came in pre-qualified with. This dealership went above and beyond and made buying a breeze. Would HIGHLY recommend to anyone in the market for a vehicle.
Went in for an airbag recall. Scheduled the appt a few weeks out. No one mentioned that it could take a coupe hours to install so I was stuck at the dealership with our of town guests at home. Ended up being done in a couple hours but then they tried adding on additional services.
My 18 year old daughter purchased a Jeep from this dealership. She researched everything on her own and needed help having a co-signer. I helped with this part. Then 2 days after purchasing this vehicle the service engine light came on and my daughter had a family friend put a diagnosis scanner on it and it was a thermostat problem. I called because we were told there was a 30 day warranty. Made a appointment and explained in great detail what was going on. My daughter drove 2 hours to the appointment that was never going to happen. They turned her away and told her it was a Jeep problem. The thing that is upsetting is when her friend scanned it he reset it and it last two days and came on again. So I cant say for sure but thinking the dealership possibly scanned it and cleared it and sold it to her. This was truly a horrible experience for her. The one good thing was the finance guy... who spent a lot of time and was more then kind and truly cared. Seriously wont be going back here... the service department is horrible. They didnt keep their word or stand behind what they say. When I called he put me on hold and never came back on the line. Very disrespectful.
It was my first time visit for service and Mike was my service person. He kept me informed the entire time. He was accurate with his estimates and consistent in his communication. This was the best experience I have had with getting my car serviced ever.I will be a returning customer because of the exceptional level of service I received and the expedited service. You have created a Raving Fan, and I will share this great experience with others.
Purchased an Expedition EL 2015 and traded in our Highlander. The whole process from start to finish was so smooth and that’s saying a lot considering we had our two young kids with us too. Patrick O’Bryant, our salesman, met us 5 minutes to close on a Friday and didn’t even rush us or hurry us along. He took all of our information so the next day went that much smoother. One of the automatic steps was sticking the night before and Patrick already had it working by that next morning! He came prepared and ready to help us. He was friendly and made a point to learn our kids names. To be honest, his work ethic and personality really made the whole process exceptional. We would refer anyone looking for their next vehicle to him!
I was here on a Saturday morning and asked for the opportunity to test drive a sedan and a compact SUV to compare the driving experience of the different vehicle sizes. The sales representative asked if I was going to buy today and I responded that I was only just starting to look at new vehicles. He told me that it was inappropriate to ask to test drive multiple vehicles on a Saturday if I wasnt prepared to buy as it was their busy day. Considering there were more than twice as many sales reps as there were customers there, I think he could have responded better.
