I have had all the flooing in my house done by Carpet Place. Its not a huge warehouse with a bunch of part time college kids working there. But dont let the intimate setting fool you into thinking they dont have an abundance of carpets and floorings made to order. Its perfect for a regular person like me. Ive dealt with those huge warehouse type places before and Carpet Place by far exceeds them all. Thank u.

Hardwood floor - A complete No at this place.If you dont know anything about hardwood flooring, please get these things cleared.1. Whats the warranty. a. on wood b. on installation ?2. Understand the difference between hardwood/engineered wood/prefinished wood3. Check if the installation is going to be done using nailing or gluing. Glue is bad.4. Ask them if they are going to nail your subfloor to the joist before hardwood installation. If they say no, take it as red flag.5. Be present when the installation is going on. Their installer shattered the patio glass door (costing $1000). We were not present at the time of installation so could not prove.6. Within a week, the floor started squeaking.7. Ask to put the side molding of the same wood and not some cheap white ones.8. If they are going to remove railing, get it painted. Ask who is going to paint.9. Get everything in writing as to what is covered and what is not and how long.10. We were told after the installation that it is customers responsibility to fix subfloor to joist. Later if you ask him to fix, he will stick to one point and try to make you believe that it is your responsibility. Beware!!!11. Dont trust these guys. Stay away and spend some more $ rather than spending sleepless nights on squeaking floors! Trust me it is a headache (google it).Good luck!!!
