The stop &shop in Edison, Nj is terrific. Not too big, but well-stocked and the staff are very nice. There is a good selection of produce and meat, as well as other staples. It is clean and easy to maneuverThe only slight drawback is the lack of cart return areas, which leads to abandoned carts in the parking lot.

The store is clean. great bakery. there cashier are the worst not friendly at all, I think they need to be retrained on customer service. also someone should check the dates on there can food because time I open can food and there mold. I dont think I will be going back any more. I will make a tell family and friends not to go to this store.

My experience has been so far good, I would definitely appreciate if you kept better choice of fresh seafood and also kept more of brown pizza dough. Other than see 2 items you have a good variety of products.Thank you.

Self-Service checkout lanes, they have an excellent health food and alternative non-dairy products that out matches a lot of the other local food markets in the area. The store and its look has been upgraded multiple times and it is a great improvement in layout of the items. They have excellent customer service and the cashiers are very friendly, I highly recommend the supermarket.

Good prices, very clean, usually short check-out lines and well stocked shelves. This store has about the best and freshest fruits and vegetables around. My preferred place to grocery shop!

The store is well organized. They are always able to manage the rush hours. Most of the staff treats customers like family.

Nice store with plenty of parking outside

Very helpful staff, clean and fairly well-maintained. I am very happy that the Scan-It machines were added in along with the self-weighing scales, saves a lot of time and there is a staff person usually stationed at the door to assist with plenty of bags if you didnt bring your own.They also have recently been deemed a pick-up Stop & Shop (shop on the app & pickup in store), but I have yet to use this function.Can be a bit busy at times and Id love a dedicated scan-it only checkout since my shopping is already done and bagged.

I like the store. Veggies are fresh. Love the variety of cheese. Italian bread sliced is the best 🤗

I was appalled to find employees working in the deli department without masks. Though it is not mandatory I have visited other supermarket chains and all employees servicing customers in the deli and seafood department wearing masks. I no longer purchase deli or seafood at this store.

They have beautiful flowers gifts for mothers day...

Not everything is on sale, its a hit or miss no different from the other stores but you have choices to pick from !

During this very difficult time every store is trying to figure out the best way to keep the customers safe. I realize that the arrows on the floor are there with that intention. I just don’t feel that they really work. Shopping during this time is stressful for both employees and shoppers. I didn’t realize the arrows were there at first because I only shop when absolutely necessary so I haven’t been there in a while. This young boy who works there was very rude about letting me know the arrows were there. He then was very rude to my husband who doesn’t normally food shop to begin with but is home now so luckily I have his help. He pointed the arrows out to my husband and my husband said thanks and that he’ll follow the arrows next time and this boy said there might not be a next time. Very unnecessary. I actually had to go down an aisle that I didn’t need to go down (that had 5 people in it)to get to the next one because that aisle didn’t point in the direction I needed to go(which had no people in it). Now that everyone should be wearing masks are these arrows even necessary? I did hear announcements about the arrows which I felt was a good idea if you’re keeping the arrows but having a little boy harass the shoppers is NOT a good idea. People are losing loved ones every second and these people are also shopping for food. The last thing shoppers want is added stress. Some people are very anxious and the littlest thing can push them over the edge. I’m sure there is a much more important job for this boy to do than make shoppers upset. Clearly putting him as a cashier and opening up another lane would be great. I just wanted to share my experience because during this time being sensitive to others is very important. Stay safe.

I was in this store after not going shopping for weeks due to the virus. They have put arrows in making aisles one way. I by mistake went in the wrong one as I didn’t see it. It was obviously my mistake, a employee rudely told me I was going the wrong way. I can understand how stressful of a time this is for the employees but it’s also stressful for the customers. Your employees need better training. There is no need to be rude. Throughout my shopping trip I saw most people were not following the arrows, with masks now required in NJ maybe it’s time to get rid of them as it seems useless. Also I needed several items which were hard to reach because your employees were stocking and blocking it. Even with saying excuse me, they don’t move and have a attitude making it hard to maintain 6 feet distance. Last time I shop here, it’s already a stressful time and I don’t need it to be made harder by certain rude employees.

This is a small store that focuses more on trendy stock than customer service.There are three self check lines and two cashiers. Bags are almost non existent, and the reusable bags dont last. They should focus less on organic foods and be more down to earth serving their customers.

They have 3 different sections for juice. I went around the entire store to find cranberry juice. They have coupons for free food items but dont go on a weekend because they wont be there.

Great store. I must say though I am only here early morning weekdays before work. Nice and quiet in and out. This is not my regular grocery store...

Store always have what I want but most stuff is a bit pricey

Customers are not treated equally. my shopping experience: were at self checkout, with at least 10 items scanned and piled up at the end of the self checkout machine while I was still scanning the rest of the items. yet the staff who helps bagging, went straight pass me, and totally ignored, to help the customer next me with only 3 items on the line. And after that, he went straight bagging for other customers. still, I was been ignored. The whole situation made me, as a customer, totally uncomfortable and feeling been discriminated.

Typical grocery store for your staple goods. They had cheap blueberry Cheerios displayed in the front once so that was awesome. I dont think Ive seen lamb sold here before though.

Shopping Stop and Shop is always a good experience. The only negative that I feel (which might not be the opinion of others) is the price. The prices seem to be higher than other comparable stores at least for the items that I purchase.Good place for some quick purchases though.

Nice and nearby for north Edison and the timings are great. prices are also very reasonable & if you are a family of four you get everything here instead of going to Costco and samsclub and buying in bulk . If you have manufacturing coupons you will get everything real cheap and value for money along with their weekly discounts by the store itself.

Its near to me, Coupon system is available. All products quality and prices are good when compared with any whole sale shop. Staff is very cooperative.

This store has great deals when there are sales. There are ton of items to purchase & prices on drinks usually are awesome.

This is a SUPER Stop & Stop, so its much bigger than the one on Inman Ave in Edison, which used to be my go-to grocery stop when I still lived at home. Now this is still no Wegmans, but they carry a lot of natural and organic foods and products, a lot of which is on their own Natures Promise line. Their Natures Promise organic quick oats are the best oats Ive had to date, their organic pasta sauce is good and cheap, and they even have organic mangoes - something I havent been able to find at Wegmans so far.

This is an average supermarket but it certainly isnt one of the better places to go. The prices are rather high and there isnt always food on the shelves. If you must get something then this place is fine but if you can wait to go somewhere else you would probably be best of doing so.

Very Poor cashier and customer service and managers. They refused to honor a $10 off printed at the bottom of their own receipt from previous week. Cashier was not friendly. Manager seemed nice but said he cannot help and store manager locked herself up inside a room. They asked me to come back to speak to store manager next day. Not worth the trip back and I went to another S&S where the coupon was honored.

Bakery section is great. They always take care of my sourdough bread and good prices on organic milk.

Hay just want to warn you stop and shop that some one has been tampering with your eggs. they have been leaving tags in them about going vegan. im worried about a contamination issue. iv already gotten e coli from contaminated food and i dont want soemthing like that too happen to any one else. so please check all your eggs and keep watch!

This stop and shop has a serious problem with restocking product and not just during Covid, this place has literally ALWAYS not restocked items regularly and also many many times Ive found expired items on their shelves and some have been long expired

I’m always happy with the quality here. The prices are fair: I shop at WalMart and at Whole Foods too, so I know what things cost. Stop & Shop prices are fair. I find the store brand products to be excellent quality also. If you get a Stop & Shop card and pay attention for sales, you can save some more money. Today I got about $15 off a $90 total.I’m a big fan of the bakery. Try the scones, you’ll think you’re having dessert.But it’s the customer service that keeps me coming back. I’ve met just one crabby employee (I actually met him twice and he was crabby both times) but Everyone else has been terrific. They’re so nice that they make your fellow shoppers nice too. The staff make the extra effort to be friendly and to be helpful.Special recognition for Nancy and Hemant. Nancy has been so terrific for my Mom time after time. I thought she knew her from school or something. But no, I see Nancy putting on the same hustle for everyone else. Today, Hemant noticed me having a little difficulty and he came right over. He worked with me a good 5 minutes, in good cheer the whole time, and solved my problem. Nancy and Hemant make the self-checkout section go really smoothly.Nice job, Edison Stop & Shop!

Great selection and clean!

Most disgusting grocery store I have ever been inside. From the moment you enter inside, it stinks like rotten garbage and cigarettes. Poor selection of not so fresh fruits. BUT THE SMELL. OMG

Reliable and not too shabby, but shabby nonetheless. This place is slowly dying due to competition such as Shoprite, but stop and shop still has what you need when you need it.

This Stop and Shop was my lifeline during the pandemic, always had vegan items.
