I purchased 5 pack of Roti since 07/03/2021, they were delivered all moldy. ive called several times and emailed. not one soul has called me back. i need a refund at this point and i will never purchased from there. no customer service what so ever.

Update: I did receive a response finally and they agreed to give me a refund. It is a legitimate business. Maybe it was just something that fell through the cracks.I would give this company zero Stars if I could. It may be a fraudulent website. I attempted to order some snacks on this website. The order never went through but I was charged. I have emailed, called, messaged repeatedly to get a refund. No one is getting back to me. Beware before ordering anything.

I have ordered from a few online Indian grocery stores over the years. The orders always took long to arrive, and often items were replaced and sometimes outright missing. Desibasket delivered my order all the way to Hawaii in just 4 days after ordering. All items I ordered arrived safely, there were no arbitrary replacements, all had sufficient expiration period. Covid Times drove me to the internet in search of onions I had seriously under bought at my grocery store on a recent visit. I like to limit visits to once every two weeks. I don’t mind going few days sooner or later, but not a couple days after a recent trip. Desi Basket had the best price I found anywhere online—and the onions are firm and heavy for their size. Pretty fresh I think. I stocked up on some other Indian groceries also (flour and rice and onions plus spices—at least 15lbs of stuff) and all arrived promptly for a flat $5 shipping. I’m very happy to have found Desi Basket. I will certainly be back!

I would give a 4 because i didnt like the bitter gourd quality however other items were delivered promptly. All items looked fresh and well packaged. Items are pricy for sure however in covid situation, getting vegetables delivered is a blessing. Thank you Desi Basket for your good service and neat packaging.

Desi Basket off tha chain! I ordered turmeric and Garam Masala and just today made a curry, it was one of the best Ive ever made! The spices were very fresh and noticeably improved my curry. The customer service is also excellent here. I highly recommend if you like good curries!

Updated review: I give 4 stars. The reason I am taking off one star is I got lesser amount of chillies than I ordered. However, Desi Basket made sure to refund me the price difference. The order arrived a little late but it is understandable in this kind of a situation. So, I have no complaints regarding that.I myself made a mistake with one of the products and its amount and I apologize for that.I wish to order again. The best part is delivery above only 25 dollars is free. This is convenient for ordering regularly. Thank you!

Im on the west coast. ordered around $65 worth of groceries on nov 16. I didnt receive an order confirmation email but decided to wait a couple of days before contacting them. My order was delivered on nov 19th and was accurate. Glass jars were bubble wrapped. No complaints. A lot of the items I wanted were out stock. Hopefully they will be restocked soon.

Prompt and well packaged delivery. I especially liked the fact that they packed my Green Mango tetra pack juice in an extra layer of bubble wrap to prevent risk of puncture and spillage. Would definitely order from them again.

Ordering these meals was a mistake. In addition to charging $8.11 for boxes clearly marked $2.99 on the sticker, the frozen food shipping was terrible. I paid an additional $10 for a frozen container for these items but the items were simply wrapped in ice packs which, of course, melted. The food was all melted by the time it arrived. This store ripped me off. Finally, the food itself was so bad and inedible. Everything had to be thrown out. Shame on you!!!UPDATE: I spoke with the company and explained the problem with the delivery of thawed and inedible frozen meals. After discussion, the company agreed to issue a refund for these items. I received the refund today on my card. I appreciate that they corrected the loss and will try them again for non-frozen food items. Thank you.

Desi Basket reached out to me with a considerate response with explanations for their use of USPS instead of other carriers. I stand by my review that Desi Basket itself is a great service! (with possible inconveniences caused by their partners, USPS.)Original Review -I like the variety and the prices as well as delivery times. However, they use USPS to deliver their items and USPS is notorious for delayed deliveries. For example, something that was supposed to get to me by June 8th has yet not arrived and USPS tracking says it was out for delivery on June 8th, on June 10th, and is still out for delivery (as per tracking) as of the date of this review (June 11th). I understand that this is NOT the fault of Desi Basket but it is their decision to use USPS instead of UPS or FedEx that leads to unwelcome delays especially in the case of groceries. I had an event I needed my order for and theyre not here on time despite being estimated on June 8th.
