Just wanted to post to recognize the employees who work here. The employees are consistently polite. I’m always surprised because other locations are not that way. Kudos to the employees!

15+ people in line, a new cashier having issues. The manager came to help him and all she can say is sorry, sorry and went to the backroom without helping any customers.

Great place to go if youre in a hurry. Very impressed with everything they have in stock. At very reasonable prices too.. Great place to find last minute B-day or Xmas presents for kids... Or anyone!

We went to go get a quick and cheap snack but they had the whole store closed because they were putting up cold food... I dont see why thats a reason to close the whole store when you can help the customers as needed.

Its a good alternative to the Walmarts of the world. The selection is limited, but Ive found the prices to be competitive. I recommend stopping by when you need a few things to get you through the rest of the week.

Good place to go if you need something in a hurry. Ive never seen a line at check out before! However the staff is usually not helpful or friendly. And there is no restroom to use if your kid (or you) needs to go, they have you go to Mardels.Overall, Good place for small, quick trips.

I stop here in a pinch since we live close. For the size of the store, they have a lot of inventory. Walgreens is close also but the prices at family dollar are way better.

Recently a Family Dollar near home closed and we needed to find one elsewhere. Luckily the was one not to far away.The wife does couponing and there are sometimes items only available from Family Dollar.

This is a good place to do a fast shopping trip. Convenient, friendly, fast and cheap.

Staff and management are horrible, rude and the store is often dirty and cluttered. I dont know how this manager is even in this nice location, luckily one just opened not too far from here, will see if its better there.

Such nice people, but wish they would stock the mayo and Miracle Whip with the ketchup and mustard.

I was shocked when I went in for just a few items with my grandsons and daughter . at the check out . I was checking out and one of my grandson s is autistic so he grabbed for the chips that shes already rang up and she grabbed his arm and push it away and made him sit back down in the basket that was uncalled for shes lucky I did not call those Edmond PD and press charges against her I will be calling corporate office on this and matters will be taken care of and my attorney will be contacting him

Manager is rude, unhelpful, and unprofessional. Do not go to this store! Went to Family Dollar on Boulevard in Edmond Ok today, and purchased items to make a gift basket for charity to poor families with infants. One of our items didnt make it into our sacks, or not all of the sacks were given to us. When I called to report the missing baby lotion ( retail value $1) the manager immediately said, I dont know what to tell you. She kept repeating this stupid phrase until I insisted that I paid for the item and expected to receive it. She said maybe its in the basket you took out. Nope didnt use one. She then said it must be in your car.. Nope, checked there. She claimed people claim they dont get stuff all the time but they do, ( basically accusing me of scamming them??) She then claimed to check the cameras and asked if I was with two other ladies... nope, only one. She then said it was put in the bag. Nope, it was not in the bag, probably at the bottom of another bag given to the next customer. Its not the mistake, its not the $1... its the manager of this store that should be fired for her complete lack of professionalism, her defensive attitude, and horrible customer service skills. I guess she thinks its worth the $1 in retail value that they shorted me, and out of the charity donation to poor families, to treat me like Im a liar, scammer and to not offer any remedy for their mistake. --- simply disgusting. If I could give this lady store manager zero stars I would.

As regarding the Family Dollar next to Mardel on South Boulevard:Monday afternoon, August 7th, I was running behind because I had to get a package in the mail to my customer. Rather than drive all the way to Target to buy a bubble mailer, I remembered there was a Family Dollar next to Mardel. But my experience there left me bitter.Turns out I couldnt get a question about any shipping supplies they may carry answered unless I took the time to answer the cashiers question about how I am. I was taken aback, as was the person she was checking out at the time. I did finally get to ask my question, but by that time I no longer had the desire to do business in that particular store, with that particular person.They have a sign on the window saying they need help, and after that bit of rudeness, I can certainly understand why. Family Dollar is failing. Badly.I think the empty parking lot tells the tale. You cannot be more concerned with having your ego stroked than with serving a customer. Nobody has time to be asked how they are. I was treated worse than a kindergartener, and Im older than she is. Retraining is needed, if not firing. Train the employees (or management, if this is who was addressing me, sadly) to just say welcome and how may I help you. Like they do at say, Dollar Tree. Anything else is none of their business. Then address the customers needs politely and quickly, because some of us are trying to run businesses of our own and time is of the essence. Employees and management should be encouraging the spending of money in your store, not discouraging it. Its the little things that can make or break a business, and it looks like my first time in a Family Dollar is my last. They are quite broken.

This store is ok. Some of their stuff is priced ok. But some of their items are not that great of a deal. Some of their stuff is priced to high.

Visiting a close friend, I decided to stop in and do a little shopping. I asked a guy for assistance and he was quick to brush me off. Not to mention my overall concern for the Oklahoma humanity is the fact that racism dose truly exist. As I make my way to the line, with mostly food items this lady who claims shes store manager, Teresa told me I could go ahead and swipe my food stamp card, assuring that, that was all the funding I had. Low and behold I dont even recieve snap benefits. Assuring that my visit went well as I were making my exit, no responding to any of the ignorance she told this well rounded lady who mightve been a customer, I cant understand those people!I than went back to her asked her for her managers number and she had wrote down the wrong info. Terriable store, I would never go back and none of my friends and family as well. :(
