My experience at Werner Optometry was exceptional. The staff was very friendly and professional. Nick, the man that took all of my tests, was so calming, friendly and funny. I was very comfortable completing all of the eye tests. Dr. Werner was also very professional and friendly and made me feel very comfortable again. When it came time to be fitted for my glasses, Dawn was very knowledgeable and helpful in choosing a frame that was right for me. She had a great sense of humor and we laughed a lot through the process. I just loved every person I had an interaction with at Werner Optometry and highly recommend them for your optometry needs.

Great optometry!! My family and I have been coming here for some time now and each visit is always pleasant. Dr. Rex explains everything so clearly and advises for “best practices”, he also takes the time to listen to concerns and address them until he knows we understand. His staff is very welcoming and helpful, starting with Angela at front seat to Dawn and Eva that assist with pricing and picking out the perfect frames.

This was my first appointment at Werner. I received an excellent service from the phone call I made to set the appointment, during the vision examination to the doctor consultation. Doctor Rex is very professional, had patience with me, empathically did his best effort to communicate with me in my native language. Erika is such a nice person, very professional and a great translator to my native language. Eva also very helpful and nice person. Such a great service!

Dr. Brittany McLellan is a wonderful doctor. When my eyes were burned, and so traumatized that the glands didnt produce the water or oils that they were supposed to; She took care of my eyes and restored my eyes to health. Today, I saw another doctor who helped me with the prescription for my glasses, and he was very pleasant.

First time my 10 yr old has left the Optometrist smiling and happy. First words after meeting Dr. Aaron, I really like this place, with a huge smile. Dr. Aaron and his staff were amazing. Weve been to a few different Optometrists and this place tops the charts by far. The staff were so personable and kind. They took their time with us and that is even after I was late. Dr. Aaron put my son at ease immediately and had him smiling in no time. He gave us advice we had not heard before and explained everything to my son in a way he had no problem understanding. I already have appts for my other kids!!!

Best place to get a completely thorough eye exam . I am diabetic and need to be careful with my eyes and when I leave my exam I feel very knowledgeable about my eye health. I also like that they have state of the art equipment to test every bit of your eyes. The staff is amazing and always makes you feel welcomed. I wont go anywhere but Werner Optometry.

So I bought a pair of glasses almost 2 years ago and I couldn’t see well through the lenses so I didn’t wear them I finally bought them in last year to hopefully get them fixed but they still I couldn’t wear them. I bought an over the counter pair of glasses they were perfect. Well I paid over $300 for the prescription glasses. I paid $27.00 for the over the counter. This year I went back and found out that I had bought progressive glasses not the verbiage they used I had paid for bifocals treats the verbiage I knew. I love the customer service it’s outstanding but I had to pay another $280.00 for new lenses. I don’t know but I feel like I shouldn’t have to have paid that amount. Anyone have thoughts on this? Maybe it’s is my fault for not knowing the language. I’ll never buy another pair of glasses from them but I will get my eyes checked here there they have amazing Dr’s.

They are always very welcoming and friendly. All the staff and doctor were great. I always leave very well informed of the things that are causing me eye sight issues. 10/10 would recommend.

I know I have a problem referred to as dry-eye and was referred to Werner Optometry by a friend. I was seen by Dr. McMurrren and she was very professional in that she explained everything she was doing and helped me to understand my dry-eye situation. From what she explained, and what I already had known, most people have, or will develop dry eyes because we stare at screens so often.Staring at screens limits our blinking which is vital to the glands that produce oil to keep moisture on our eyes. These glands die slowly from not being compressed by normal blinking which keeps them running. The office offers the Lipiflow Treatment which helps to slow or prevent this degradation. You can have this decline in oil secretion for years and not even know it, which is what happened to me. This is NOT something you want for yourself and especially the younger generations that spend even MORE time looking at screens. You want to begin handling this problem now.I will be taking all three of my children for exams and begin a treatment if needed. There are very few dry - eye specialists and I know this to be true because I went to seven eye doctors before one finally told me to look into the Lipiflow treatment as I might have dry-eye.Dr. McMurren is that specialist.

The entire staff rocked! My visit went very smooth and was treated very well by everyone. From the front desk to the intake then onto the exam and Consultant. Dr Brittany explained everything so well that I had very few questions. I was told she is the top of her class for her specialty and it showed.

First time coming to this office. What a great experience I had. Doctor Rex was so much help. When it was time to pick my glasses. The ladies up front were very helpful and patient, while I couldn’t make up my mind. One that stood out the most was a Miss Dawn Henderson. Werner optical is a fantastic place to go for all of your vision needs. I have been wearing correction since I was 4 years old. I have amblyopia and so do two of my children, that said...I have years of experience with Ophthalmologists and top specialists in the country. This place is.a class act. I did not have a good experience at Werner Optometry. I called a month ago looking for prescription sunglasses plastic lenses project frames. They assured me they would have something in stock that would be underneath my $200 insurance policy for the frames. The lenses even tinted were already covered. After a little confusion over not being able to find me and my insurance coverage I was informed that they were no frames under $200 for me at Werner Optometry. Although the front desk clerks and pretty much everyone that I did speak to treated me very well. They even gave me a free gift and a bag. This is my third place looking for prescription sunglasses. Maybe its just me long-haired hippie biker but I dont think they liked me too much. I did have to get a little heated with optometrist number 2 over the phone he had locked up my insurance so when the staff looked at it could not find any money for my frames. Once I took care of that there I was theres my insurance that is my money allowance for my frames and the lenses are already taken care of. I can see now the way I handled Optometry number 2 just might frightened them a little. Oh well I have four or five more places to check out over the phone tomorrow but Im not going anywhere unless they guarantee they have something under $200.

I was, once again, amazed at how very nice, but professional, the entire Werner staff family were/are. Dr. Rex Werner takes time to get to know who you are and where you come from. Top of the line equipment examine your vision and take pictures of the eyes in every possible angle and depth, etc. to give the patient the best prognosis to insure they get the best prescription possible. I am a real fan of the Werner people and find I look forward to going gto the doctors office instead of dreading it. Five stars all the way across.

We had a great experience with Dr. Aaron Werner today! It was our first time at the practice, but we felt very welcome. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted by their friendly staff and it wasnt long before we were called in. After a base exam, Dr. Aaron came in and went through more eye exams. He was very professional and had a really good way of explaining everything so that we could make the right decisions.Along with him, the nice woman who helped us with our glasses fitting and choice was really helpful. She didnt try to push the high price items, she made sure we got the right frames for us.Overall it was a great experience and I highly recommend visiting Dr. Aaron! An easy 5 stars!

Dr. Rex Werner is a professional with a personal touch. He does his job well examining your eyes and prescribing the lenses you need, but he does it with interest in you--not just your eyes. I enjoy going to Werner Optometry because he and all of his staff, particularly those that have been there a long time, remember you. They are very helpful and concerned that you have what you need. But they dont sell you what you dont need. I am particular about my frames, and Mayra Leyva was very helpful and never annoyed by how picky I was. I will be back again and again. You should too.

Dr. Rex is a true professional in his field. Showing me exactly what is going on with my glaucoma and the progression. He has state of the art technology in his office which he ensures his office staff is all trained on.The staff are professional and friendly. Mayra has a special way of measuring my glasses sometimes up to four times - so that when I go in and try them on - they are aligned perfectly. That says a lot for someone who wears trifocals! Great service and the ONLY eye doctor office I will ever let come close to my eyes.

They have been helping me out since I was starting off my adult life/career. I now live in Texas and every time I fly to San Diego I go and see them because they all the best of the best. Dr. Rex Warner is the first optometrist Ive ever seen that is informed and helpful where it comes to the topic of RGP (hard, rigid gas permeable) contact lenses. That is almost unheard of these days; Ive seen around 10 or so different optometrists in my lifetime, and almost all of them and their staff were typically surprised to hear I wear RGP lenses and would fumble in knowing how to order those lenses or give me information related to them. He was able to answer questions Ive had unanswered for years.Hes also incredibly knowledgeable and gives a good amount of detail in his explanations. Very friendly and empathetic. Im extremely happy to say I now have a optometrist I will see again in the future, and will refer others to!

In todays workplace, its wonderful to find places of business that treat you like a person. Everyone at Werner Optometry takes the time to talk with you and they dont make you feel rushed at all. Made an appt. with Dr. Watson. Eye exams were completed with, seemingly, the latest technology (much more advanced since my last visit- about a year and a half ago). HIGHLIGHT- Wonderful, attentive staff from the moment I walked in, until I left (mainly helped by Josh). Appt. lasted about 40 mins.

I called to make an appointment with this office, and the lady on the phone told they excepted my insurance( Tri-Care), but the kind I had (Standard) would not be excepted for a regular eye exam. I would need to pay out of pocket. I declined and called two other offices and that was not the case, I ended up making an appointment with another office. But I find this ridiculous that they are lying to people to make them pay more money. I would not recommend this office to anyone.

Werner Optometry is the best. Ive been seeing Dr. Rex for many healthy years. In 2009 when I was diagnosed with a rare incurable chronic illness & put on Prednisone, Dr. Rex monitored my eyes closely for both side effects of the meds & the illness itself. The staff is first rate, patient, kind, & caring. They also carry the coolest eye glass frames & since I have no bridge, they sent my sunglasses out to be retrofitted with nose pads. I now have an awesome pair of cool fashionable sunglasses. Werner Optometry, No Ka Oi!

After 2 visits to this Optometry I now possess more than $500 worth of eyeglasses that dont focus at a usable length. They want me to come bakc for a third try. I travel for a living so making a visit is very inconvenient. Courtney Kness was the Optometrist that could get my prescription right. Oh she is very pretty and nicey nice but she didnt do a good job for me.
