What a wonderful experience I had today at this store!Kassy was so helpful! She went the extra mile to ensure my package was ready for shipping, She was so very generous with her time and advice, she actually saved me money and prevented me from possible theft of my merchandise with her suggestions. Jeff was equally as friendly and helpful. Theses 2 will provide the customer with the friendly service that is rare. Their knowledge and attention to detail is second to none. After my experience with Kassy and Jeff I will only go to this store!
Super friendly service. The people there were ready to jump in and help when FedEx wouldnt deliver my international package. Looking at the receipt now, they ended up charging me full price when I asked them if they could apply my AAA discount. So if anyone qualifies for that, make sure you ask them multiple times and check the amount. Other than that, everyone was easy to work with.
I have always received helpful and friendly service my go-to for postage and UPS
I left because of the way the owner was treating a customer. Such a shame that people are still being thrown out of stores for their beliefs. I left and went to a different UPS. Much more respectful and understanding. I would not recommend going to this branch.
Jeff, Malia, and the employees working at this UPS store are seriously the best! They go above and beyond for all their customers, especially for military. I had a huge 90+lb stationary bike to send overseas and took it to this store after the post office turned me away. They could have turned me away as well but Jeff and Malia (the owners) took it upon themselves to work out a way to ship the item.Jeff helped me unload the huge box from my car and brought it into the store. After he weighed it, he realized it would be too heavy to ship in one package so he asked for my permission to take the package apart and ship in separate boxes. They worked so hard to figure out how to ship it while keeping the costs as low as possible. They even worked after hours because I brought the bike in close to closing time. I felt so bad at how complicated it turned out to be to send this bike overseas but not once did they act rudely or with an attitude. They were extremely helpful and very nice. Jeff even took pictures of how he broke apart the bike so once it got to its destination, the owner could put it back together. He said the owner could call him if she had trouble putting it back together and he would walk her through the steps.I cannot thank Jeff and Malia enough for everything they did to help me out. They are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. They really make you feel like family. I will go out of my way to make this UPS store the only one I ship packages from.Thank you so much guys!
We live in Texas and shipped about 30 lbs of vacation stuff through their Los Coches location. Kassandra took all of our stuff and told us to leave it there and she will pack it (the wife and I were not used to this as we have to pack everything at our home location). We received our large box of stuff which was heavily damaged. Thanks to Kassandras wrapping, all of our fragile souvenirs made it through safely!
Friendliest staff you could ask for. They remember my name when I come in and make it feel like a small town business. Great with package notifications!
I am a US Army Veteran. I have been a customer at this UPS Store for years, and most of the time no problems. One time I needed a document notorized and had a clerk there do it for me. When she charged me for the notary I told and showed her the California State Law that prevents Notaries from collecting fees for US Veterans along with my Veteran Identification. She said it doesnt matter and told me if I gave her a problem she would confiscate the documents I had her notorize. I ended up paying her because those were original financial documents.
Why cant everywhere have employees like these women? Friendly, yet professional and efficient. The staff works well together and makes customers feel comfortable and welcomed. Some places, especially in December, are dreary due to stressed out workers, or simply ill mannered employees who take it out on the customers. I dont return to those places. I will return here though. They were quite accommodating when I called last minute and then dropped by to do a live scan for my job. I was also impressed by the many repeat customers or faces and names remembered by these amazing women as well. FANTASTIC! Thank you!
Its a fine store and the employees seem quite knowledgeable and they get the job done! Prices are pretty nuts, but thats just about anywhere with shipping and such. Cheaper than FedEx and Post Office usually at least. UPS does have some great printing deals sometimes though which is great!
I moved recently to the area and decided to try the local UPS store to mail some packages. I was surprised to find out they ship and pack for you, (where have I been?) so this was a plus for me. Malia (the owner) greeted me with a smile and was so helpful. She made sure to keep the packaging rate down for me, because packing supplies add up fast. At the end she gave me a 10% discount because Im active duty military. She told me her husband was very passionate about giving military members a discount. I told Malia I would be returning, and I would tell all of my military friends to use her store. Excellent customer service and very knowledgeable on shipping and rates. Thank you for making my day!
Customer service was very kind but while I was returning books a while back they failed to explain to us how much their boxes costed and just grabbed some boxes off the shelf and stated these were the correct size for our packages. Then we had to pay over 35 dollars worth of boxes unknowingly until they brought us to the cash register and all of the books were already packaged. Their customer service was very kind but should work on their communication of prices.
Customer service at this location is amazing! The staff always makes you feel welcomed and are very friendly with everyone. I believe its Malia and Jeff who are always there, they are so kind to me everytime I come in. This is the only UPS location I go to and they are the reason why! Thank you!
I only ever drop Amazon packages and such at this place but everyone is super helpful and nice!
Beware store was not open at 1pm on a Sunday even though say open till 3pm. False advertising and wasted my time.
They are very personable and professional. The store is clean and stocked well. A little pricey but the sevice is worth it.
Had some stuff shipped from there. One of the items was a TV in the original packaging. When I received the tv it had a crack in the top of the screen. It was insured for more than the regular $100 it normally comes with. So it was determined that it didnt happen during shipping. Said there was no visible damage to the packaging. I felt the packaging before UPS came and picked it up and there was a small dent in the front of the package. Yes it was hard to just see but it could be felt. That was never mentioned. Then had to call to this store to start the insurance claim. Once it was started I was told that UPS would be getting ahold of me for them to send someone out to look at the damage. Then the next thing about a day or so later I hear the doorbell ring and its UPS here to pick up the TV. UPS never got ahold of me like I was told. Then they took it back to the damage center here. Then about a week later I call to track it and cant track it. On the tracking slip they gave me the address on there was for the damage center here. UPS took it upon themselves to send it back to this store. So I had to call this store to try to find something out. The manager was surprised that the tv was there. She got ahold of UPS and they had denied the insurance claim. I asked her what the insurance was for at first she said it was for if the package gets lost them as we kept talking in the same conversation I asked again what the insurance is for and then she said its incase the package gets lost or broken. So the tv was supposed to go to one place ended up going very far from where I am and now Im gonna have to pay to ship a broken tv if I want to try to get it fixed! Great customer service! Never will deal with UPS again!
They are the nicest person. I’ve been in here tons of times and never once had a bad experience. The owner is really awesome too.
Definitely not going to be using this service again. I went in to send a small action camera to a friend asking for the cheapest possible way to get it to him, and it came out to almost $20! Ive never paid that much for shipping on items Ive ordered or sent from anywhere. I politely asked the cashier Denise why the price was as much because I saw the pre-order total on the screen on kiosk being different and Denise said, Since I had to package it for you it was $3.50. That was almost as much as the materials had cost! I politely explained that I wish I wouldve known that before you did it as I wouldve packaged it myself to save the money. She rudely replied Well do you want to unwrap it then re-wrap it yourself youll still need tape you know?! I didnt even know I had the option to wrap it myself in the first place as she just took the camera and grabbed stuff off the shelf and went to the back to package it, and because of that I dont even know if my camera is actually in the box. I understand people have bad days but being rude to a customer whos merely questioning a price from a place theyve never used before doesnt leave a good impression.
I love this store, friendly, helpful, and always nice. Thank you!I wonder on the bad reviews......was the reviewer confused on which store, Ive had a hard time believing it was that store. And the other with a bad review.... I am always shocked at the cost of services. When Im shopping, I always ask my options, and I am surprised at the expense, but it is the way it is. It is the cost of running a business and paying employees. You need to ask AND not be upset with the business for charging you what is needed to keep their business running. If people only knew what small business must contend with in the layers of taxes they pay, the costs and fees at every angle, you would have a different attitude. Are you aware that small business pays the bulk of the taxes for that community! They have expenses that are astronomical, and seem very unfair. So next time you slam a small business for charging too much, stop and think. You want to be angry, try WalMart for doubling and tripling many of their items in this last year. Yes, and it is outrageous! And much of those items are things that low income people tend to buy. That is simply greed on the part of Walmart. And SDGE for some of the most outrageous fees in the country. So high that many cant run their AC, when it is miserable out. That is greed, plain and simple. One more please ....the people who provide tv services. The cost is prohibitive to many seniors that need the company and the entertainment. However, our supreme court, in its ever so humble thoughts, requires that we give cable tv to felons, predators, and people on death row! Who do we suppose supports a law and lobbying group who would make this happen?! Greed, greed. Lets put our energy and complaints where they deserve to be. Take the time to write a letter to Walmart, complain to the tv companies, and our representatives in Washington who allow the idea came to fruition that prisoners get cable tv!! The supreme court (I am not capitalizing because I am demonstrating the disgust I have for them in supporting these things) should hang their head in shame for propagating this greed. These dont happen in a vacuum, they are manifested by certain interests, lobbied for, and approved before ever going to the supreme court!! Who could think, that the tax dollars of a person who couldnt afford cable, would actually pay for a felon, to have cable?!!!!Lets put our bad energy where it is due. Thank you.
I like to support local small businesses and sometimes will put up with uncomfortable situations, just to support local small businesses. However, after a recent experience of being yelled at by the owner, who used profanity at me telling me to get out of the store, that crossed the line. Background: I placed an order with a merchant that required a signature, but knowing that I wouldnt be home during UPS attempted delivery as was the case previously, I asked the merchant to deliver the package directly to the closest UPS store (as I would have done after receiving the ticket at my house and changing the location to a local UPS store). This UPS store received the package and when I went to pick up the package the same day, they refused to provide me my package unless I paid a storage fee of $5. After refusing to pay the fee, the owner called me a f****n prick and told me to get the f*** out of his store. The point was not the $5, but the principle of not informing a buyer of all the fees prior to making a purchase. This store chose to be combative and extremely disrespectful over $5.Long story short, customer service is not this stores forte or priority. I called UPS customer service and they were able to schedule a delivery to my house at no charge and were very apologetic stating this store owners behavior is not representative of UPS or the rest of their employees. I will never go back to this location or recommend anyone to this store.Stay away, theyre unprofessional, combative, and extremely rude!
Friendly and helpful, they offer so many services!!! Not just packing and shipping, but they do it all! Faxing, printing, passport pictures, Notary service, public access computer and More!!!!
By far the best customer service Ive experienced!, the owners and their team were extremely helpful and friendly. I refuse to ship anywhere else! A++++ customer service!
Polite, friendly and always very helpful with any questions you have about shipping great store
They have always been professional and helpful. Use their notary services as well.
