Nice store with very expensive items. Most items you can find at other stores way cheaper. Staff was helpful and not a lot of people when they open.

Lots of the clothing sizes were picked out. Lots of the hats were missing. Hopefully they restock soon. Still found some good stuff and cant wait for it to get cooler for the new sweater.

I have sent multiple emails, fax, voicemails, and online request to cancel my order and it still shows as processing. I placed that order back in August and Ive been trying to cancel over 3 weeks. What is going on over there? No one ever answer the phone. I need to cancel my order and get my refund.

Plenty of merchandise, but too few staff members are trained (or can assist) with online ordering and apparel returns.Parking is easy, but again, a lot of time was wasted because of staff training. Mind you, the store was pretty empty when I visited on two different occasions.

As a UTEP alumni I love visiting the bookstore whenever I get a chance to take take back home with me some UTEP merchandise. 💯😊🤙🏼 parking is located right next to it by the parking garage.

Everything is overpriced but I guess youre paying for the convenience of finding everything school related in one place. In the end they had fast service and helpful employees to help chose graduation items.

I don’t understand how nobody answers the phone, I called 12 times and no answer. I placed an order on the 9th of September and it’s the 21st today and it’s still processing.

Well developed procedures to pick up books due to Covid-19. Staff is knowledgeable to the lay out of books and other items for classes. Staff is courteous and kind.

Good book selection. They support faculty and local authors. They offer new and used books. You could also rent them. They have stationary, university merchandize.

Forget about trying to call them. They NEVER answer their phone. Youd be better off trying to contact them by smoke signal or carrier pigeon.

Its a really nice place with a lot of variety, although the second floor seems a little abandoned

Bookstore service leaves one with a feeling of why am I being ignored. People working there seem to hate their jobs. The staff seldom answers the phone making it necessary to drive out there. Dr. Wilson should do a drive by visit. Its not part of UTEP but it gives the University a bad image. With all the management and leadership smarts floating around in the ecosystem of the University, it is ironic to see and experience such poor customer service. Follett needs a wake up call!

Picked up an online order. It was quick and easy. I was in an out in 7 min.

I would give less if I could. I ordered books for a course. I ordered them 7 business days before the class was set to start knowing that the shipping would take 4 to 7 business days. I got a notification on 8/19 that it was shipping that day which left plenty of time for the books to arrive. The following Monday I still had not recieved my books, as well as that Tuesday. I called and left messages on Tuesday and Wednesday because I realized I did not have a tracking number on the email they sent. No one answered my emails or phone messages. On Thursday someone answered the phones and I found out that my books were still sitting in their store. She asked if I wanted them shipped. Well, yes I did want them shipped last week because I paid shipping. I told her I needed the books now and asked for over night shipping. She agreed and said they would go out overnight on Friday. I still never got a verification of the shipment. I am now 2 weeks into my course and though I have paid for books do not have them. I am very disappointed with this location. I have never had an issue with any other UT affiliate bookstore. I am now waiting for them to open to maybe talk to someone and get my order sorted out. Im ready to cancel and order from Amazon. I do not recommend this bookstore location.

The bookstore is conveniently located a crosswalk away from the parking garage. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable of merchandise I was looking for.

Stocked with a lot of school supplies and the supplies are cheaper than in the vending machines around campus.

What can I say, its a bookstore for the university. Youre gonna get ripped off, and thats just how it goes. The environment, though, is pretty amazing with their sofas in the middle of the store, cell phone charging station, and their really kind staff. They occasionally have really good deals omce in a blue moon, so Id really recommend this place if you just wanna browse around. They even got some really interesting strange gifts you could buy for an unexpected last minute birthday on the bottom floor novel section.

Knowledgeable staff make the process smooth. It was a bit crowded but then again it is the beginning of a new semester. I also recommend price matching the books.

They greeted us at the entrance and were very helpful. The store itself is nice and clean lots of great clothes and accessories. Pricey but not overly.

Although the textbooks are definitely expensive (some of them may be cheaper than Amazon if you rent them but its not always the case), it has everything a bookstore should have. Its definitely not the first place I would go to for supplies, but I have gone to buy emergency supplies; for instance, once I needed a flash drive after I lost mine. However, this is a good place to buy a souvenir (maybe you have family in Chicago and you want to share some UTEP pride). And if you ever find yourself buying your textbooks here, take advantage of that golden ticket raffle they have every new semester, if youre lucky you might get refunded!!!

I found all I need it.

Profesor sent an email with the books we needed on Thursday night and classes started the following Monday. I ordered the books from the bookstore on Friday and opted for next business day when asked about shipping and it said that the books would arrive in one or two business days. The books didnt even ship until Tuesday afternoon and I got a message saying they would be delivered Wednesday day by 9:00 PM. Later on Wednesday I get a message that the books would be delivered on Thursday by 3:00 PM. I need the books urgently, which is why I opted for next business day, but I learned my lesson. Never renting or buying from here ever again.

Don’t order ahead it takes forever to ”ship”, when in reality the book you need is most likely always available. I ordered a book online a 2 days early that way I didn’t have to get in line to pay for it and they told me it wasn’t ready for pickup yet. However when I looked for it in the shelves there was 100 copies available. Just go get what you need yourself. Of course it’s college so as expected it’s not good to buy anything there unless they are the only ones who offer the book you need. Don’t waste your time and money. Be smart.

Beautiful campus. Faculty is very good with the exception of the math department. Campus is large but small enough to walk from end to end in under ten minutes

Good place to go for a quick necessity--bottle of water, painkiller-- if youre on the west side of campus. Theres also a coffee shop in the lobby. Plenty of UTEP gear on the first level: shirts, mugs, hats, etc. Theres a changing room available. The textbooks are all on the second level.When the semester is beginning or ending, be prepared to wait. The prices are also a bit high, but thats to be expected for convenience and official college gear. People carrying backpacks will be asked to put them in the lockers in the lobby.

Excellent place for all your school needs but, it’s very pricey and don’t always have what you need on hand. It is a clean facility and always very well organized.

Clean campus, lots of construction. Every Staff member I encountered were friendly and courteous. Although there are different methods of transportation, prepare to do a lot of walking.

Awesome school, i love the maps app. Love the computer labs and student union building. They need a bit more of healthy options on their dining services.

Staff is friendly and ask about your day and all. Its also very clean and has pretty much all that you need. Only issue is the prices which are a little high but thats it.

Although it was first day of classes, the bookstore had no waiting in line! And are open late today! Always super helpful and friendly!

The service is way better than it had been when I did my undergrad. The prices, however... Hahahaha. It is a store on campus after all.

Some of the prices are comparable with Amazon. The service is usually good except i came here 3 weeks in a row looking for the same book and they said they ordered it and it never came in. They finally told me they were not ordering the book I needed. I had to wait each time. Dont try to call and ask if they have a book even if they arent busy because they never answer the phone.

Books are super expensive, which is a big con.On the plus side, they carry a wide selection of varied stuff, including headphones, misc school supplies, miner memorabilia, snacks, basic medicines, etc. Really useful if you need something quick but you cant leave campus. Not that useful if you need to buy/sell a book.

Whats to say? Its a university bookstore. Coffee/snack stand in front, lockers, bathrooms, textbooks/school supplies, and school pride stuff. Book prices are not far off of Amazon and occasionally a bit cheaper.

Lack of communication, customer service skills, and and self awareness. Students are forced to go there... Thats the only way they get business

Limited selection of officeware and electronics along with UTEP/Miners branded clothing/paraphernalia (downstairs). Also the main source of primary texts are all UTEP courses (upstairs).Staff are friendly and helpful, store is neat and tidy with plenty of floorspace. Upstairs feels like a mini library of all the current common textbooks, and has a service desk for pickup of advance orders.

More than a bookstore. This store offers an array of products from team spirit clothes to quick snacks. The go to place for UTEP related products.

UTEPs Bookstore is conveniently located at the Sun Bowl Dr entrance. Theres also plenty of free parking in the parking structure next-door. The bookstore is in a relatively new 2-story building of Bhutanese design, common throughout UTEP.

A bit expensive, but high quality, brand name clothes and supplies. Of course they have textbooks, various types and formats.

All books and apparel are grossly overpriced and are price gouged in order to take advantage of students. You can find textbooks and UTEP apparel so much cheaper elsewhere. Walmart sells UTEP apparel for half the price and Amazon sells/rents textbooks for cheaper.

Charge hundreds of dollars for books you can find on Amazon for $10. Practically robbery.
