I always love coming here for my Volvo services. Nice, quiet atmosphere for waiting on vehicle. They offer coffee or other beverages. When I am in the market for a new vehicle I will come here. General Manager seems like a good guy... always seems very serious when I am in Volvo for service. Not that its a bad thing. Overall this is a great place for services and purchasing a Volvo and sometime just relaxing.
I cant seem to locate my initial post but wanted to follow up on it and say that the management team provided great customer support to me after that rather unfortunate incident with a salesman and I really appreciate them taking all the necessary steps to make things right for us. They continue to represent the Volvo name well so thank you very much for addressing our concerns thoughtfully and truly earning our business back.
My wife and I had an amazing experience buying our SUV at Giles Volvo of El Paso, our sales consultant Manny Reyes did an outstanding job asking all the right questions to really make sure we found the right car. The value that they offered for our trade was better than any other dealership in town. We got a great deal with minimum back and forward on negotiation. The finance person Joby was great at explaining all the benefits and protection programs and did a great job finding us the best rate available. And as a bonus you get complimentary 100,000 mile power train warranty and also unlimited lifetime car washes . What other premium brand dealership offers this for their customers. We were here for our first year service and Reuben was very helpful and friendly. But while we were waiting in the lobby (~1 hour), none of the sales person asked us if we needed water or anything. Yes, I can ask for water but I would really appreciate the effort if I was offered some drink while waiting for our car. I was actually on the fence of buying another Volvo and that would definitely help with my decision making - its a small gesture but I really appreciate a dealer with good customer care. Thats why we bought our Volvo when they were still at their temporary location - Frank Valladolid really went out of his to help us with our purchase and we really appreciated that.

Jorge, Ray and Victor Made my IT VEHICLE purchase stress-less. They were very patient with me as it took me 2 days to make the decision on my purchase. Im so glad Mr. Giles reopened the Volvo dealership here in El Paso, it prevented me having to Fly to New Mexico or other parts of Texas to purchase my vehicle. I also appreciate that Jorge was able to be my salesman. I met him at Volvo 2 or 3 years ago. Recently purchased a new Volvo S90 from Ray and the team in El Paso! I was greeted with a personalized video, lease options sent directly to my email address with all information necessary to make a decision, and everything was handled quickly and efficiently. It truly was a pleasure doing business with them... and I felt like they were there to help me buy a car in the easiest way possible. I wish more dealerships operated this way!
Terrible customer service. They post cars online that are not available that are already sold and use them as hooks to bring in sales for other vehicles they have. The old catch and bait game.They set me up an appointment to see vehicle for today 1pm and i get a callback from Christian manager with tons of attitude and frustration in his voice upset about me calling him a few times just to confirm appointment. Reason hes upset is because vehicles was already sold even prior to them setting my appointment in the first place and they still set me an appointment. Took day off from work for no reason now. Very sad and definitely will not be doing any business here ever again.

Went there after half my bumper flew off on the highway. Requested that the part gets replaced under warranty. Instead of helping me to get this covered by Volvo USA, the service rep told them about all the scratches my 2018 XC90 had, while he should have told them about the fact that there was no visible damage to the part. Very disappointing that the dealer takes more care about their relationship with Volvo USA, than with their customer. As I did not intend to buy a new car, the team including Ray was indifferent.Ill never buy Volvo again, their quality has suffered tremendously since bought by Chinese State Owned SAIC.Better buy US made cars.
I wanted to sell my jaguar. I got the kbb report and found the number to be fair. I was sure the dealership would try to beat me up a little. However, they were great. Yolanda came to my house and got the car (I have an underlying illness that keeps me at home). She then was back in an hour with a check and paperwork. I was more than impressed. S60 in for its first SERVICE; 27 NovemberSince we moved my 90 year old mother in with us a couple of years ago, and because I too am an individual of a certain age, I was concerned about doing this, thanks to COVID-19. Something about having strangers in ones car...Upon arriving at the prearranged date and time, I was surprised when the Service Departments garage door slowly opened as I approached. It was a pleasant surprise that Cathy had been expecting me and was approaching to greet me by name. Wow, that doesnt happen very often, regardless of the brand or cost of the vehicle! Good start.Cathy proceeded to install plastic covers in the interior and used a handheld device to check the tires and wheels.Ruben, the Service Manager then walked me through the process and was very professional throughout my stay, ensuring that I was satisfied with the services provided (I was).Since I had prepaid the service, there was no closing transaction, other than to express my thanks.The entire process took a little over an hour. A receipt was emailed to meet later that same day.Ruben runs a good department and was very professional and courteous himself. The experience turned out to be a good one.I posted a couple of pictures regarding their COVID-19 safety precautions.
Yvette Ochoa at Giles Volvo was an absolute pleasure to deal with!!! I requested a KBB value for my car, and my inquiry was sent to three dealerships in El Paso. I went ahead and visited all three, but Yvette at Giles made you feel welcomed and not just like another number in an assembly line as did the other two dealerships. We went ahead and sold our car to her, and will be recommending her and Giles to all of our family and friends who might be interested in selling or buying a vehicle!

Sir something as simple as the mechanics making accurate decisions and less self guessing. This all started with a simple oil change that you disclosed to me that everything was immaculate. And to later find out that it wasnt. Makes you wonder.. We had software installed but to later find out did not take because the faulty passenger side airbag. With knowledge and experience, the mechanic should have first corrected the issue with the airbag prior to installing the uneeded software. Volvo of Phoenix corrected that which you couldnt. You all had me in multiple times within a month. Who wouldnt be disappointed with the service you all provided. My biggest concern which was never corrected was the reimbursement or credit for the uneeded install of software ( Software Upgrade). All I can suggest sir is maybe better communication with your mechanics. I take my vehicle to the dealership for the fact that I have trust that everyone in you department has the knowledge and experience to make the right decisions and in my situation they didnt. In the end you all had no clue and told me everything checked out and that you didnt know why the cars CPU was still coding a severe overheating warning and once again reassured me everything would be alright. And if the warning light comes on again just pullover and let it cool. What kind of professional reassurance is this. Who does this?? ?? Your teams negligent final decision could have had my self and my family broken down in the middle of nowhere in the extreme weather conditions at this time..... Especially knowing that I was driving a long way from El Paso to San Diego with my wife and 9year old daughter. In the END I GAVE KUDOS TO THE PHOENIX VOLVO SERVICE DEPARTMENT!!!! They got to the bottom of this simple fix. Now that ur concerned about your rating I will go ahead and attach this back in my comments. Thank You Sir, Ive been nothing but patient.
Jorge was pleasant to work with and made buying my first luxury vehicle an enjoyable experience. Eric was also a huge help when it came to the final details. I went to Audi, Mercedes, BMW, Acura and Cadillac. This was the best car and experience. My wife loves her car!

Visited Giles Volvo recently while shopping for a new car for my wife and our new baby. Frank is a top notch, stand-up guy. Turns out hes their head salesman, but you would never guess that. Never did I feel like I was being sold something, but what he did do was give me a top-notch demonstration of all of the cars features and went above and beyond to give us several purchase and lease options and the pros and cons of each. My wife and I fell in love with Volvo and plan to be lifetime Volvo drivers. Definitely pay these guys a visit!
They work hard to deliver top notch service. It really does make a difference to feel that your experience as a customer matters. Its not the norm for auto dealers in El Paso, but it is for Giles. Theyve earned my loyalty.

Update: Ray, the GM, took over my situation and helped take care of everything. I still never got an explanation as to why Julian didn’t do his job or why he stopped replying. Every time I asked, it was ignored. I am changing my rating because of Ray but this experience was not a good one and I just hope that my future services are not an issue.I hate that I need to leave this review because I love Volvo and have purchased 2 brand new SUVs but here we are. In October 2019, Julian Reyes was responsible for helping me with my home shopping program as my XC40 was coming in from Germany. He did not do a proper intake and registering it in Texas was a nightmare in which corporate had to intervene. Also, my car arrived with damages to which he was responsible for filing the claim and contacting me within 30 days for repair. Fast forward 8 months and I never heard from him again. I attempted to contact him to get the repairs and my normal service and he responded with contact info for the shipping company, indicating that I’d be responsible for handling the entire thing (which is NOT correct). I responded, telling Julian how terrible everything has been and that I hoped he could pass me onto someone who could actually assist and he stopped replying to me altogether. I now regret buying my XC40 and XC90 in Europe since Giles is my only servicing dealership.

Had a complex electronic issue with my 2006 volvo. Julian, the head tech went above and beyond to fix the problem right. He was constantly reaching out to give me updates and the project came in well under his initial cost estimate. Everyone there was friendly and professional. I hope there is no more issues with my car but I would not hesitate to go back there.
