Excellent service & yummy food, even for vegetarian. I sat at the bar, our server Ed is very friendly! He keeps the bar area very neat & clean. Amazing job! I tried the midnight express, i strongly recommend it, full of flavor! I know this place is always busy, if u like to try it out but do not want the long wait, try to come around 2pm Sunday. We visited Saturday, 25SEP, around 1000. The staff was polite, absolutely no wait. The place has an Austin type vibe (music, eclectic atmosphere, random chair and table types, open concept, variation of foods). We had a specialty coffee(a combination of flavors my husband requested) and hot chocolate. We also had the Londoner with a savory waffle with spicy honey and chicken and waffles. Everything tasted delicious!

I liked this place! They have a great menu full of really great and creative ideas, combining different elements that come together to create new and interesting flavors. The fact that they rely on old favorites (barbacoa, a full English breakfast, etc) to make new flavors means that even when they dont quite achieve the promise of the dish, the food is still good! The dish I had didnt really achieve the promise of the idea behind it, but it was still good food and fun to try. The staff is super friendly and attentive, although the building is not super well marked, so pay attention as you get close (see pics). I hope you enjoy it!

The restaurant itself looks amazing. Presentation of the food was definitely A1. After tasting the food I had to look to make sure I was eating what I took a photo of. The brisket needed to be marinated a lot better. The mac n cheese needed something extra to it for sure. Our waitress was very kind however, could have been more attentive. I don’t see myself returning.

I had to share my experience. Sunday Brunch with the wifey. We really enjoyed ourselves. We showed up and were greeted by the hostess. She informed us that the wait would be about 30 mins and took our number down. About 10 mins passed and we were told our table was ready. We sat in the corner towards the main street and it was warm, but manageable. We really liked the decor. It really set the tone for our meal.We had the mimosa and the espresso flight to start. We loved it. For our food, we got the stuffed crossaint French toast, the Taco Borrachos, and the Huevos Benedictos with brisket. It was amazing. We will definitely be coming back.

Salt + Honey Bakery Cafe is a great little brunch spot that falls short of being my ultimate go-to place in El Paso.Food:I have been the Salt + Honey a few times and every time I go I like the food but Im never blown away by it which is my main gripe. The hummus avocado toast was tasty but lacked any depth of flavor that makes it stand out.The tacos easily were the best of the menu. Filling, full of flavor and also served really well for a leftover. The cappuccino was pretty average. The hearty breakfast was good but nothing special.Atmosphere:This is the main reason I like this place. Very trendy/hipster vibe while still feeling chic and modern. I would have loved to gotten coffee at the bar here before Covid. I would love to just come here and sit for a while but its also pretty packed usually so make sure to go early!Price:I usually spend over $23 every time I go so I would give it two $$ signs.Overall:I still want to give this place a chance because I adore the atmosphere and it is close to my home but they will really need to step up their food game to be anywhere close to a 5 star.

Sweet little tucked away Cafe across the street from the transit station. Was craving coffee and breakfast at noon on a Saturday and they did not disappoint. The salt+honey machiatto was beautiful, light and fluffy and I savored every sip. Eggs were cooked perfectly, toast was nice and thick and the bacon was just right- not chewy but not burnt. Wait staff were pleasant and attentive, despite a busy crowd. I left very happy and wishing I got a latte for the road. Menu is creative and unique and they serve breakfast all day until they close at 3. Its my new favorite place in El Paso, lil pricey but worth it.

The wait for the restaurant was almost 1hr and half. The place was packed with people waiting and there was nowhere to wait within the restaurant. I was asked to take my 4 year old and 1 year old outside, which was very hot and humid. Of course since there was enough people waiting we were some what blocking the entrance, so I was trying to be understanding of what was being asked but no one else had kids except me. I had ordered coffee and the waitress had forgotten about my drink. However, the food was really good with the exception of the mac and cheese which liked and tasted nothing like mac and cheese. The rest of my food was pretty good. This was on a Sunday afternoon and perhaps another day would have been better to go.

We went on Father’s Day for brunch and though there was a wait, we were able to get right in and sit at the bar. I ordered the Turkish coffee which is quite a strong coffee. It has a very earthy taste to it but the more a drank it, the more I enjoyed it. I then ordered their French press coffee which was a very good coffee, served in the French press. My wife ordered their most popular latte which she enjoyed. My wife ordered the chicken and waffles and I ordered the Londoner. Both meals were very good, with lots of flavor and also filling. We did notice that their baklava pancakes were ordered by quite a few tables and they look very fluffy, piled high on a plate. Before leaving, we looked at their pastries and decided to get a banana bread brownie with a peanut butter drizzle. It was not to dense or dried out, it was very good.

Good mimosas, really nice staff. I wish they had specials on holidays like Mothers Day and Fathers Day.The baklava pancakes are huge, enough for 3+ people to share. The TOP LAYERS OF THE baklava is supposed to be extremely crunchy, if you leave on the pancake too long it turns more chewy. Overall good 👍Thanks for the reply but I do think it was more chewy than crunchy, Ive had Baklava while living in Europe and tried it in surrounding countries. It was good... just got too chewy with the ice cream touching it.

Amazing place with a unique atmosphere. Since the moment you step in you feel a charming atmosphere. The place feels cozy and everyonehas a smile making you feel at home. The prices are reasonable. The amount of the servings are of great size, but the most important thing about the food, is the quality, you can actually taste the quality of the food that you will end up asking for more. Another thing to take into account is the presentation, you kind of feel guilty of having each bite, destroying such amazing piece of art.I will definitely recommend this place to everyone that visits EL PASO.

This was a family favorite, but after our last visit on Thursday morning of 8/26/21 we are no longer supporting this local family owned restaurant. The hostess Edward was rude to us while we waited for a table for 5 to celebrate my mothers Birthday at 8:45am. Restaurant owners be ware that your hostess is the first impression of your restaurants and can make or break loyalty from customers. Online reviews are essential and post real merit since its a way for customers to share their experiences for others to know what to expect. Edwards did not communicate effectively with us and was simply rude with no need and did not listen to our questions but rather reacted with attitude and indifference maybe hostess is not his place in your establishment. When asking how the table was coming along, did I call you? Is not an acceptable or cutomer centered reply in any setting or culture. When adking could we order coffee at the bar while we wait, the response, if you do that I will not seat you even if a table opens up is not an acceptable or customer focused reply.

Not sure why such good reviews...Service: Maybe understaffed in both the floor and the kitchen, but it took an absurd amount of time to get order taken and then again to get my food.Food: Meh. Nothing special. I got their version of the eggs Benedict. My dish wasnt cooked all the way (the sope portion) and my side of very boring grilled chicken was very cold. Expensive for what I got and I think this is due to all the add-ons. They kind of nickel-and-dime on the menu by having you build your own meal essentially. Otherwise, the entree itself is SMALL.Bottom line: no service, boring food, expensive for what you get. Wouldnt go back.

The environment is nice and modern. We started off with a Mocha which we liked. Not too sweet and not too bitter. The menu and food sounded and looked good, but the execution of flavor leaves a lot to be desired. We felt bamboozled. We ordered the salt and honey burger with the soup of the day, and baklava pancakes. The burger was okay, but to get more flavor it really needs to be eaten with the Chile torreado. The soup of the day was roasted vegetables with bacon. When the soup arrived it was full of bacon, but no roasted vegetables in sight. The pancakes were stacked high and looked fluffy. They were topped with a scoop ice cream and a piece of baklava. My wife and I frequent this local establishment for coffee and dessert on our date nights/days. However, we recently got to enjoy their breakfast/brunch menu. Service is typically impeccable. It runs a bit slow during the weekday lunch rush, though, with 2 on staff. All the pastries are made in house and vary depending on the season and availability of fruits and other ingredients. You might run into their pastry chef on your next visit. They have a varied coffee selection, but their namesake - the S&H latte - is a perfect mix of salty and sweet. In regards to the food - it is fresh and delicious. Its just the right size to hut the spot. You wouldnt find a double meat burger with bacon or a petit salad. I had a Cubano sandwich with a side salad that was the 2nd half of the plate. Definitely deserves continued visits to sample their other menu items.
