Although we were on a quest for Pokemon cards and the card binder sleeves to store them, I will give this place 5 stars for my experience. Store was super clean, comics organized by titles and year, lots of collectibles and rare board games. The owner was upfront with us about not having anything Pokemon or collectible cards and he was very friendly. We didnt buy anything on this trip but that did not change the owners demeanor. I will be going back to this location for our comic book needs.

I was there about a week ago. I am new in town stopped by to check it out. All I can say is it was awesome. I got great customer service and the owner is very down to earth you can be there all day talking. He had great deals and great advice on anything from new to comic books to buying old and new toys. Over all great atmosphere and plenty of comics, toys plus more (collectables) you can think of. Easy to say I recommend this place.

Been going to Allstar comics for about 3 years now. Theyre a great store and their prices are very reasonable. I really want to love them, I really do, but in all the times Ive gone, and the thousands of dollars Ive spent there, Ive only requested they save me a comic twice. Both times, the request was made to different people. Both times, they let me down. Last time I went, I was told that they had placed the order for the comic I wanted over a month ago, and it would have been too late to hold on to the comic I requested, even if he had gotten my request. I went the first week they re-opened after COVID. They would have been closed that month when I needed to place my order. That was enough for me to start ordering online and stop going. Maybe someday in the future, Ill go back again, take a look at older stuff to round off my collections, but I cant ever trust them to hold anything new for me. Aside from that, their service is super friendly. One time I hurt my back and couldnt stretch or bend down, and the girl there was very helpful getting the comics I would point at for me, and I appreciate it, but whats the sense in trying to start a pull list if each time, the owner claims to never gets it.

Brad is a wonderful gentlemen to talk to and very knowledgeable about the items in his shop. He has tons of collectible toys and the biggest back issue stock in town. He also has the new issues as well. I love coming here and can easily lose hours in a day browsing the back issues.

Went to check this place out and see what all the talk from friends and acquaintances was about given their great experiences. I found myself being anything but disappointed seeing all my favorite books in fair to mint condition, from floppies to hardcover collected editions, board games to action figures. Even with the miscellaneous collectors items the focus is on the books and when I walked in it felt like home. I walked into what seemed to be a simple man’s comic book room private collection. This man clearly loves comic books and it shows. This is the perfect comic book store. Yes they were out of stock with a couple books I wanted but that happens anywhere and everywhere due to demand and other buyers. That isn’t deeming of a lower score. 10/10 recommend and plan on coming here again..... and again.... and again!!!

This place is what you see when you imagine the perfect comic book store. Im constantly amazed at the growing collection of rare comics, art, and figures. Ive gotten the best pieces of my collection through them and the owner is the best person you could have behind the counter! Hes been accommodating and has helped me stay current on my favorite comics since I started going there. Cant recommend enough, going here is the highlight of my week.

Great store! Brad the owner is so helpful and knows a lot of information about comic books. He has very rare books also and its great just seeing them. You have to visit this store at least once in your lifetime. It is definitely worth the trip. You can find really great books in there you just have to search for it. Overall, an amazing store!

Best comic book store in or around El Paso. My husband was sent to the area two years ago and found a few gems. Very fair pricing and the owner is always making a deal. We were relocated here in 2018 and visited all the local stores to find our shop for the current books. All Star is unmatched.

I have been collecting comics since I was 12 years old and have been to many different Comic book stores in many different states. I have been going to Allstar comics for the past 7 years now, and it is by far the best store I have ever been to. The selection at Allstar is amazing. They have a large selection of back issues on almost any title that you are looking for. Also, they have a great selection of rare and hard to find books that are reasonably priced and in great condition.Brad runs his store perfectly. He is constantly searching out great collections with key books and selling them for prices that you will not find anywhere else. He also has a great pull system for those customers who are picking up their weekly books. I have been going there weekly for the past 7 years and have never been shorted a book that I wanted. I am not much into the gaming scene, but he also carries a large selection of games and toys and I am sure if you were looking for something specific he would do his utmost to find it for you.By far the best comic book store in El Paso, and definitely one of the best in the country in my opinion. I started collecting again after a 20+ year hiatus. I have to say that Brad and All-Star Comics is the best place for the regular collector as well as the new or casual collector. The shop has an incredible inventory of back issues all the major publishers. All of the publications both new and old are displayed in rows and rows of gorgeous cover art. My brother said that when I walked in there it was like I was a kid all over again! If you love the stories yesterdays and todays comics tell, if you love collecting and swapping tales with friends, then this is the store for you. Dont worry about where to begin---Brad and the comics you find will always point you in the right direction. Soon youll find yourself making a pull-list and waiting eagerly for the weekly Christmas of new titles.

This is my idea of a classic bookstore. The clerk was helpful and courteous. Whenever any employee reaches out to connect with my kids, they earn my respect. Great selection, lots of collectibles. Searching for a good deal may take some time but found some great bundles.

They are very customer service oriented, clean and organized. Wide selection of both old collectors comics as well as the latest issues. If they dont have what you need, they will order for your and call you when it comes in. They are very good toward local artists and help them hold events at their location if they need to. The only bad thing is the parking as the laundry place next door wont allow his customers to park there. The parking out front is directly next to the busy Dyer street traffic. I suggest parking on Polk street then walking like 20 feet to his store, it is less hassle that way. Overall I am impressed with the quality of service, selection, and atmosphere of this store. Plus the new murals on his building are just amazing!

This is the one of several great stores I buy from in El Paso. Brad has made my return to collecting books not only enjoyable but fun.The store has adequate room to browse and look through the myriad of comics, t shirts, jerseys, and cards and other gaming items.But my favorite aspect of this store is Brads willingness to help find hard to find books. The subscription feature the store offers also helps me collect by only having to come in weekly to pull my stack.All Star Comics is a jewel, get familiar.

Im a military brat, and I was so happy when I found out that there is a comic shop near the military base! It was literally a god sent when I found it. The store is great and it has a wide selection of comics and figures for comic collectors and lovers. I was in heaven when I look at all the comics. The store owner is also more than helpful, hes super nice, always offering to help out our collection, and making sure that we know when the new comics get in. As a former solider, he understands my military brat problems.Overall, as a comic book lover, its the best store I have been to.

Owner and staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They constantly rotate stock to keep it fresh and new... Lots of KEY ISSUES are on display... Largest collection of back issues in the region as well, mainly Marvel and DC...the store also carried large selection of trade paperbacks... Owner takes pride in his store, engages customers.... Im stationed at Ft. Bliss, and All Star is conveniently located right next to post. The staff is great and very knowledgeable on different comics. All Star also has a good selection of older comics and back issues. I never have a problem with finding something I want. Best shop in El Paso.

One of the best comic book stores you will ever visit. All-Star is one of the few comic book stores that actually caters to both the new comic buyer and the vintage comic buyer. The inventory is truly amazing with a great selection of Silver-Age and Bronze-Age comics. You can even find Golden-Age books! The store is organized, clean, has plenty of lighting, and is very spacious. This fantastic store is one of El Pasos best kept secrets! Best comic selection in all of El Paso including WIDE CGC selection and at least half are signed (Stan Lee... Etc) loads of comics with cover are as well by well known comic artists.. great store. Never have I ever been sold and overpriced variant or anything else for that matter. Make sure you give Brad a visit!!!

The store has a great selection of comics new and old. all the old stuff is on a series of tables in long boxes and its a great selection ranging from the silver age to today minus about 3 or 4 years. All the newer stuff is on 2 tables next to the long boxes that stuff is about a month to a week old so if you missed something great place to check. In front of that table is a rack filled with comics all old stuff from about a year or less. On the other side of that is the weekly table where youll find all the new stuff that week and its great its not cramped and you can see every issue in one sweep. He also has a great selection of trade paper backs and graphic novels. The staff is also great Brad is friendly especially if youve been their before he tries to be welcoming and tries to answer all the questions you may have all in all its a great store and i recomend you visit it if you like comics at all

The gentleman working (I wish I wouldve asked his name) was very helpful, friendly, and extremely patient with my two little brothers. their comic book selection offered a little bit of everything and I was able to find what I was looking for. I will definitely come back next time I find myself in El Paso.

Ive only visited a few times since this store is unfortunately too far from my house and my job place. But if it wasnt, it would definitely be my go-to store. Its spacious and way better organized than any other store in town, plus they have a lot of titles you wont find elsewhere. The owner is also a really nice guy, definitely one of the friendliest, most helpful LCS owners Ive met. Its maybe a bit pricier than some other stores, but not outrageously so. Plus, every price is at least marked so you wont get any surprises when you go up to the register, unlike some less professional places. If you live around Fort Bliss, look no further than Allstar, I highly recommend it!

Where should I begin with describing this great comic book store? I only begin collecting comics in April and I visited every comic store in El Paso to find one I would continue to buy from. After a long search I found All-star comics, they were the ones to help point me in the right direction of what I wanted in terms of Batman comics, and whats even better is they had the older issues that I wanted in store. I havent been very pleased with a lot of places in El Paso since getting here but this is one place that I will always continue to come back too!

I have been going to this guys since I was in 5th grade. He has a very wide selection when it comes to any rare comics you wanna get. He is a dependable guy when it comes to reserving books, and a really nice owner. His Free Comic Book Day and signing events are the best.

Once you stop at All-Star Comics, youll never wanna go to another comic shop! Brad (The Owner) is a very cool dude who knows his comics. Thanks to him Ill never miss a issue. He has a large collection of older comics and once you think youve seen them all, he gets more! This is one of the few stores Ive been to that if family friendly and has something for everyone. My kids enjoy coming to this store. I live in Chaparral and have stores that are closer to my house, but theyll never compare to the selection and the customer service, in which Brad provides!! With out a doubt the best comic book store in El Paso! I live on the eastside and every Wednesday I drive out to the northeast because this place is just that good. Brad is really friendly and if youre new to comics he wont look down on you or be pretentious hell help you out. The selection is great if you love vintage comics hes got them or if youre into the new stuff (like me) every Wednesday he has the new stuff. This place is just awesome!

The majority of the books in this store that are worth possessing are overpriced. I bought three year old book for a child out of what looked like the dollar boxes with no price. They still charged me cover price. The book is not even worth a dollar in over street. Not a bad selection, but not priced in a competitive way

Just visited for my upteenth time today and what an awesome store and experience! One cannot find a better small business owner like Brad. I find him to be very professional and knowledgeable in the area of comics; e.g. Silver, Bronze, Copper, and Modern ages. In addition his store is very squared away allowing you, the customer to be able walk around and peruse the merchandise without worrying of tripping over anything. Lastly, the best thing this comic book store had to offer was Brads CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!, which is beyond reproach in my book. I highly recommend this store, if your in the hunt for comic books, toys, t-shirts, board & card games and much, much, more.

He has the most Silver Age inventory I have seen in any one place. The stores in Chicago could learn a lot from the way Brad runs his shop. Wonderful experience.
