Called them for a part I needed for an AR15. They immediately looked for it found it and said they would wait for me. When I arrived they were, without a doubt, the friendliest staff I have encountered in any type of business in a long time. Even took time to show me a gunsmith project they were working on when I got curious. Oh, the price for the part? Far cheaper than anywhere else I researched. I am now a lifetime customer.

Searched gun store on Google maps and Drakes was one of the first to pop up in my area. Went in to sell a firearm that I was no longer interested in. Walked in and was immediately greeted and helped by an employee. He checked out my firearm and then Scott (I think) the owner came over and gave a 2nd look at the gun. He liked it, offered me a decent price, and we struck a deal. The whole deal took about 20mins max. Polite/respectful employees and a cool store. I recommend, and will be returning for future firearm related needs. 👍

I was referred to this gun shop by another retailer I was having issues removing a few pins out of my AR Scott was able to help me right away within seconds they were out after three hours of Trying to get them out myself. Well-maintained shop and beyond Professional.

I highly recommend Drakes Fine Sporting Arms they have done custom work that I couldnt get done anywhere else. I have a classic type weapon that they worked on and they suggested ideas of how to get the most performance out of the weapon. The work that was done and the costermer service is second to none. They go the extra mile to make sure the job they do is done above expectation. Feel confident in walking into Drakes with an idea of what you want and know that the finished product will be better than you expected because of theirpersonal knowledge and dedicated approach of the employees at Drakes.

Dropped off a pistol to have refinished. They couldnt do the job, and it took them almost a month to find that out. When I picked my pistol up, it was completely disassembled down to the smallest pins, in baggies. As I went to reassemble my pistol, i find 2 small parts, and several pins are missing, which are expensive and hard to find. Needless to say, my pistol is now a useless bag of parts, unless I want to spend more money to order the missing pieces, and have it reassembled, and have it back to how it was before I dropped it off to them.

Awkward location (unless you have been here a few times. Then (app works great toward up-to-date changes of heavily equipment construction zones, while donate thru the expiration of the try on.

They have fixed a shot gun for me and threaded a barrel on my Remington 700 and then added a custom pepper pot muzzle brake. These guys are 100% professional. I was recommended to Drakes Fine Sporting Arms by another gun shop owner. I needed some work done on a “pistol” of mine. I wouldn’t do it my self since it involved drilling and tapping the rear trunion of the fire arm. The whole process was quick, and super easy. The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful. The folder added to my pistol is perfectly centered. It looks amazing. I don’t think anyone could of done this great of a job. The price was more then reasonable. I am extremely pleased and I will more then likely return to have more work done on other fire arms! I would definitely recommend this place of business to others, you will not be disappointed!

I have transfer 3 guns in the last two months. Fair ammo prices as well. Excellent service! If you have never been at the store, I highly recommend it. The nicest people and great customer service. The nice thing about the store is that you will get to talk to different loyal customer that share the same passion for firearms as you! A loyal customer at the store recommended me a gun. I went home and I bought it and got it transferred to the shop. The way Drake has the shop set up is like a little coffe shop.I wish I could go early and just hang out and maybe take a box of donuts, because let me tell you they have a lot of loyal customers hagging out at the store. I always show up 20 minutes before closing and I never feel rush. Nice shop, good people and excellent customer service!

Outstanding service and craftsmanship. I’ve had an old revolver re-blued, trigger work performed on a 1911, and a new slide fitted to an old 1911 frame. 1911 work is time consuming and requires precision. Drake delivered above and beyond on all counts. Knowledgeable on modern and old gunsmithing techniques, Drake will not disappoint. He also has some great “antiques” and modern guns that occasionally come into the shop for consignment sales. If you need some work on your favorite firearm, make sure you check him out!

Drakes is the best gun shop Ive been to in a long time. Its a no pressure buying experience and they are really knowledgeable. I had some work done on my 45/70 lever action and it is prestine. I love the work that was done to it. Scott does military discount and they arent jacked up prices like most. Its the only shop Ill be taking any of my guns to.

Simply wow! Went in a little intimidated because Im not very knowledgeable about guns. But after talking to them they made me feel very comfortable. Definitely a great place to stop by to buy a good quality guns or just to simply ask any questions.

I had them ship two shot guns to another FFL located in Colorado. One of the two ended up with a broken stock. When i notified Drakes their response was a standard disclaimer...... thats out of our hands! We are responsible for packing and shipping only! Very sad how quickly they jumped to disavow any responsibility whatsoever.
