I love this location. They are always nice and helpful.My bank account doesnt like it though. LOLDuring spring, they have the best windchimes at good prices, lots of cute gardne items. And if you are creating a fairy gardne like I have been, they have the cutest miniatures for it.Highly recommend this spot.

Great store, we purchased furniture and the staff was helpful in the selection. We will continue shopping at this retail store. Staff is friendly and helpful. We had a positive experience with Johnathan and Hinsen helping out with our order and were very professional and courteous. I dont recall the store managers name but he also helped us and was very client orientated to his clients. I strongly recommend this store to everyone in Elgin.

I had the best experience here with an employee named Brianna. She is an expert at what she do. Her customer service was awesome and I will hire her ANYDAY! Found great items ...most importantly I was treated with amazing customer service .. I was greeted and helped at the end by hissen and his staff.. they even helped me load my car .. not too many places now days have courteous and compassionate staff...

Just bought some furniture there. The gentleman noticed I was browsing and looking at furniture and gave me his name if I had any questions. The gentleman that help me answered all my questions. He took his time with me I did not feel rushed and was very pleasant. He seemed to really enjoy his job. Definitely one of the better places I have been when I was shopping for furniture. Found our most beautiful Christmas tree ever from Big Lots last year and now the nicest sofa and love seat combo (Simmons) Ive ever had. The sofas were a lucky find as we were in dire need of new ones, but I had actually gone into the store in search of some Christmas lights that I was unable to find (had to be an exact match). Instead, I came out with something much nicer! I cant get over the comfort and beauty.

Very nice big lots. One of the largest we have been to. Looking for to add to our current silverware and they had the pattern we needed. Staff was friendly and the store was clean.

Big Lots have a ton of Broyhill and Lane furniture. Nice looking and fairly priced.Outdoor furniture, rugs, candles and laterns are calling for nice weather. I was surprised how much stock the store had. The manager and Kristen were friendly and quite helpful! Now to win that $1000 shopping spree!

I am happy that there is a Big Lots near me. The prices are comparable, sometimes great, sometimes not as great. The staff is nice and I feel they are helpful.

I go to big lots in the otter Creek Mall in Elgin . They usually have good prices on cases of water their food selection is fair but just because you find something there one time the next time it may not be there due to the fact that they are an overstock / discontinued product buyer. If youre looking for a novelty item for a gift they have some decent low price novelty type gifts

It was great I found what I was looking for.

I enjoy going here on occasion. They have some good food, but its hit or miss. If you find something you like, buy it as you most likely wont find it the next time. I only purchase food products, but not from the freezer.

Good store most prices are reasonable. I like going there.They normally have only 1 cashier even with big lines.

This Big Lots has a lot of variety. The parking lot is pretty beat up but the store is not bad. They also have a big variety of X-mas gift items right now. For the coffee drinkers they have several holiday flavor variety packs at a really good price.

Prices here are unbeatable. You can find many household needs from storage two comforters and even groceries. Many items available according to season. Check consumer reports on any brands you may second-guess. However for the most part I have found this place to be a great discount shopping location.

I enjoy shopping at big lots because I am able to buy name brand items, at such cheap prices! The store is always clean and organized and very easy to find a specific item that you’re looking for.The manager Vito, was so helpful, he went above and beyond, during one of my latest shopping trips there, he asked what I was looking for, then I asked him if they had the Bissell Carpet Shampooer in stock, he knew exactly what I was talking about, so he grabbed it off the shelf, brought it half way across the store to the isle I was at, then after answering specific questions I had about the carpet cleaner, I told him I take it and he carried it to the checkout area, so I could finish shopping, then loaded it into my trunk after I checked out, so I didn’t have to lug the large box to my car.

They must have great management, because the employees here just seem like there always in a good mood. The store is always kept clean and tidy.

Store is good but quality of furniture sucks, only had our couch/recliner broke within two months of delivery. Cushions do not hold up, padding breaks done after four or five months. Would not recommend buying furniture from them. Other wise good store

Simply AMAZING! Id never really heard of this store until I saw they had a Serta mattress topper I was looking for. I decided to go check it out since it was the same product but for $70 cheaper than Kohls! It was incredible, I love the mattress pad topper and I even had money left over for some Serta $20 sheets as well! They also had so many great deals of beautiful furniture as well! Well be getting an apartment soon so this store will really come in handy for the near future:) Also staff was incredibly helpful and welcoming! 😄

It needs to come back to live closer to me! We miss saving big money with big lots! Worth the drive, but not convenient. Dont go often, but make the most of it when we do!

Monica has been amazingly friendly and Vito amazingly helpful. We are using their progressive leasing option and have had a few issues along the way. They have both been doing all they can to get the issues sorted and us out with our furniture. These are the kind of employees everyone should want.

We Like Big Lots. It is a very good alternative to the crowds at major department stores. They have a good variety of items, good prices, and the employees always seem very friendly.

They have great savings and I like them because theyre always so nice but sometimes the workers who are not cashiers just wander off and theyre not helping people unless theyre being called over the intercom and therefore makes people wait longer when they need help with something

Overpriced, full of Dollar Store type stuff and Rent-A-Center type things but way overpriced. Also just a few doors down you can get better quality merchandise for a lower price. These places used to be great not So Much Anymore
